I tried a new place I spotted down in New Monterey on Foam St called New Monterey Spa (I think). Went in and was greeted by a tall black girl, late 20s and about a 7 in looks. EI visited the Cass St. location. Her name is Heidi, Chinese and in her mid-30s. She performs legitimate massages for .7/hr. It was actually quite relaxing by itself. Offers hj for add'l .6, which is very good. No indication she does anything more. Very friendly, and allows LK, hand roaming.
The Studio has closed on Casanova, and the New Monterey location is their only location.

Just visited this place, which others have talked about but not reported on.
Phoned them beforehand and was told $60 for 30mins and $80 for one hour.
They had Thai and Vietnamese and Koreans.
So off I went, previous mongers have already noted that on the bottom floor of the block are 2 restaurants, and above them is a disco bar. If you wish to stay a low profile, you can actually enter via the car park at the back, by the Indian restaurant, take the elevator to the 3rd floor, and then the bridge almost links directly to their front door.
On entering, no price changes, but i was presented with 3X 40+ Koreans, 0 for looks. Told that the younger Thai and Vietnamese are off on a monday.
Anyway i figure i could have a 1/2 hour massage and leave.
Turns out that this 40+ chubby lady called April is not bad at massage, and speaks very good english. So I extended the time to one hour and finished with HJ for $40.
Biggest problem with this place is the music from the club above, it is REALLY loud. If you can relax in this kinda atmosphere then place could be good for you.
Overall experience 5/10 for the massage. Maybe you can have better luck if the younger Thai and Vietnamese are around. I have not seen them though.

Since the main thing around this area is CL, and there is no dedicatd CL Review thread and I don't have the permissions to create one, I will post reports here for now.
I did have some other reports, back before the board changed, and my old account there is also gone. That was a few years back, but a few SW San Jose reoprts.
My CL reports for earlier this year:

Marina is a city north of the city of Monterey. We pass it maybe 5-8min before we get to Monterey from Santa Cruz. Don't know bout Cindy's place but the Monterey Coast Weekly has some ads in the back section you can check out when you get here or www.myredbook.com has a list w/phone #'s you can call ahead to see bout hours/price/location. Well, went to Monterey, couldn't get to Marina early enough so I decided to try Lighthouse (closest to the hotel I was at). Hooked up with Jenny who was very accomodating. I would be careful in China town area of Salinas. Lot's of homeless people in the area and drug trafficking. Loops around Kern, Sun and John St are good bets. I've had some luck in past out by the Denny's off 101. Lot's of truckers in the area so it' makes car dates kinda hard.
I've never really done too much in the way of the AMP scene, here or anywhere else, just a few visits over the years, but I got stood up in Monterey the other night and was pacing around and came across this place (I kind of knew where it was, but I wasn't really looking for it. Honest.)
Went in, was greeted by Jenny who pulled me back into a room before I even got my bearings. She was okay looking, but nothing special, nice rack. I paid $60 for a half hour, actually got a pretty good massage, along with a HJ. Tipped $40 (Is it typical to tip for the standard hand finish here? I was in one city a few years ago and people told me that since that is kind of the basic level of service, no one expects anything extra for that. I've never posted before, but have been watching this and the int'l guide for a couple years now. I have to say that the int'l guide has been a huge help. I'm somewhat new to this area and thought I'd throw in some reviews for several places I've checked out around here.
California Oriental Massage (downtown monterey): Been here twice because it's the lowest price around. Average massage; FS for 150 and less. The only problem is the chicks are older--40+. The first was probably under 40, the second wasn't. Both Koreans I believe. I've heard there are younger ones there, but I guess not during the weekday.
Cypress (seaside): Visited on Sun morn. You can get the soapie, but massage is quick. Girl was under 25, Chinese, smokin body. FS available for $150. Quality.
Lighthouse: Weekday Afternoon. Hard to spot from the road. Just a single door in between a couple businesses. You have to park around the corner. Not sure who I got, she was older Korean but great body. Good massage, skilled FS and willing to go second round. $150-200
Marina Massage (next to casino in Marina): Weekday Afternoon. Older white women but still somewhat attractive. Good massage, very good CBJ with more available; prices probably lower for FS here than most places.
Paseo Health: (smack in middle of downtown monterey, 2d floor) Weekday afternoon. 35+ good body, Korean I believe. Great massage and skilled at getting you in the mood. Good CBJ, but prices higher here than anywhere else. FS will probably push $250.
New Monterey Studio of massage: (you don't want to know) Stopped in during weekday and passed based on who was there. Haven't heard great things about this place and won't go back.
Hart Massage: (next to trader joes) Stopped in and they were busy, will probably go back and check it out.
Overall Cypress seems like the place to go. Hope this helps someone. Would like to see more posts in here if anyone has more info. Will probably put a review of Ocean Spa in the next week or so.

Well, I once again got stood up by an appointment tonight in Monterey, and this time the I'm pretty well broke because I've got two checks deposited that haven't cleared for some reason. Anyway, I'm pretty new to the Monterey scene, so I decided to take me free time in Monterey to cruise around and locate each place, and then I went in, got a feel for the atmosphere at each, asked about rate, and then moved on.
I was going on memory of these (I have a pretty good memory for addresses) so I only went to the ones I knew roughly where they were. I have no idea on services at these, because of course I didn't get any, but here were my impressions:
Cypress: Hit this first given the recent report, and have to say was pretty impressed. $80 for an hour or $120 VIP (hot tub). The building was nice, the waiting room very classy, with a selection of magazines. The girl who came out was probably the some one mentioned recently: young, tight thin body, maybe mid or even early twenties. Not flat out gorgeous (a little toothy for my tastes) but pretty darn hot by most AMPs' standards.
Hart: A real let down after Cypress. Claustrophobic entryway, prices sounded similar, but I was having a hard time understanding her. The "girl" who answered the door was at least mid-40's, and a fairly hard used mid-40's at that. No real interest here.
Ocean Spa: Not clear where you park...it seemed like other things in the same complex had claimed the spots, but it was late enough I wasn't too worried. Upstairs in sort of an office complex, you kind of have to wind your way up the outdoor steps and across the balcony--I felt a little exposed there by a major street. The front room was open and fairly attractive. A group of men were sitting in a circle behind a screen in the back corner, either watching TV or playing cards or something (maybe both). I imagined them as Chinese organized crime, but who knows. The girl who came out and greeted me was attractive, thin, maybe late 20's. She seemed confused by me being there and asked me twice if I'd called. I said no and asked if that was necessary, and she was pretty emphatic that it wasn't so I'm not entirely sure what the deal was. I have to admit I've forgotten the prices--all those men staring at me the whole time and the weird episode about the call had me a little nervous. Still the place looked class and the girl was attractive.

Well, I hit Ocean Spa yesterday and was let down. Granted, didn't have the dudes in there that you saw, just one chick that was there when I arrived. Mid 30s. Honestly good massage, then started to work me up. But then just quit. She said done. I said no more? Nope. Dressed and was leaving when I saw a younger spinner that had come in during the session. The two exchanged words. In Chinese. Then older one then said to me in english. Your first time here.come back. I may try it. You have to park under the overhang where the "suite D" spots are.
At Cypress, ask for 45 mins. That's what I ask for as a standard at most places. Usually cheaper and also usually ends up as an hour anyway.

Leave everything else blank and then click search. You should see Harmony Massage and there's a phone number there. Also some good reviews for the ladies. Try callin them and asking where they are and I imagine they'll hook you up. I'm trying to make at least one stop everywhere in the area but SC is a bit far of a drive for me. Tried out Cypress tonight--have to say I was rather disappointed. I wound up with Mimi, who was decent looking but nothing spectacular. Paid for an hour (despite meaning to ask for the 45 minutes as per Rooster...kicking myself on that one). Massage was really lame and half-hearted, didn't last real long. It's been a while since I posted, so thought I'd update. I've hit the two new AMPs that have popped up in the area recently. The one on Ocean in Monterey and the one on Iris in Salinas.

I had requested help on selecting an AMP, but there is hardly any activity in this thread, so I basically went with one suggestion I did get, and that is Cypress. I cannot complain about the provider's looks and going thru the negotiated activites (FS in my case). However, having experience in this service and what is expected, it left me very cool. Namely: they told me there was no 30 min service, but accepted $60. The wall shows only 1hrat80. The provider asked if I wanted shower. I said yes, and she said that would take away about 10min of the 30. I never ever heard of such crap. So we skipped that. That was followed by a 2min titty rub on my back, then roll over. And the typical 'what do you want? ' routine. The pricing was way too high. I hate screwing around negotiating with these people. She was going to walk out. But I finally worked out a deal, which was higher than I ever paid in my life.
Anyway, I am gone from the area now and just wanted to pass it on for what it is worth. You can get what you want, but be prepared, is all I can say. She also said the other houses are lousy, and that Cypress was the High quality place. That may be true, but I have no reference point.

I'm new to the hobby, and just tried my first AMP, Diamond Massage and Spa (http://diamondmassageandspa.com). Overall, I had a great experience for the first time.
Their website shows two gorgeous, young girls, but they weren't there when I went. That's probably because I tried it in the afternoon on a weekday. Now I'm inside. No prices are posted so I ask. She says, "$60 for 30 min and $90 for an hour. " Now I'm suffering from complete sticker shock! I paid $65 for an hour massage at Diamond, and it was amazing. I should have said, "No Thank-you" and walked out, but I stayed because I wanted to try that table shower. What's worse is that I paid the $90/hr because I thought, "There won't be any time left after the table shower if I don't. " (Mistakes #2 and 3)
So the table shower was ok, but honestly, I can give myself a bath. It just didn't do anything for me, but I thought, "Ok, no biggie, the massage can redeem this experience. " The massage was way too long, and it sucked. There were some ok parts where she tickled my back with light touches, but other than that, I was bored and unimpressed.
Finally, we get to the flip. She takes an eternity to get to the main event. She actually took so long that I started to think she wasn't going to do anything at all. Eventually, she asked me if I wanted an "oil massage down there, " pointing to my junk. I vigorously shook my head yes. When you are in Monterey, there are a high number of places to visit, and often not much intel on the good and bad. Found a UTR place that you should really check out. Lighthouse will give you a good massage, and great service on the flip (I've even been offered a 2nd go here). Ocean Spa is also decent and usually has some pretty attractive girls, just bring your own cover if you want more than a HJ. Airport Spa isn't too bad, and have decent prices. Hart Massage is a little expensive but gets cute girls now and again. If you dig deep in this thread or maybe just click on my name and read my posts you'll get more info on all places.
If any of these places think you're a first-timer or a tourist there they will up the price after the flip. So just tell 'them you're a local and it's been about 6 or 8 months since you've visited. Well, still looking for recommendations, but I did hit up Cypress when I got in town. They still have the hottest masseuses in town although now things are a little rushed now. Well guys, I hit up Airport day spa today, one of my old go-to favorites. Overall I wasn't disappointed.
