Oh, my golly, did I have fun this weekend. Left Columbia for St. Louis early Saturday morning, hit Harrah's, actually broke even ($20 up), and headed off to the South and East sides. I am not freeloading for years on here. I use to be a senior member but some other person who I won't name caused problems for me and i discontinued my membership. They were a senior member as well. I don't contribute to this forum anymore because I have not seen but a few select women lately who have asked not to be identified whatsoever because they have no need for new clients and if they did they would find them themselves.

First, I was in St. Louis last week. Got done with the job stuff and decided to check out the broadway stroll area. Police spent most of today trying to find out why a bloodied man crashed his car into other autos stopped in traffic on the Poplar Street Bridge during rush hour this morning.

Shortly after 8 a.m., several drivers sought another -- Illinois State Police Trooper Ralph Timmins, who was also stuck in traffic -- for help. Up ahead in the eastbound lanes was a car that had crashed into several cars. When Timmins looked, he saw a man covered in blood jumping out of the car. The man was running toward the Route 3 exit on foot, but was quickly arrested and taken to a hospital in East St. Louis, Timmins said.

Also leaving the car was a woman -- a stripper who reportedly had no pants on, St. Louis police said.

Police initially believed the woman was a victim of an assault. Later, the woman told police that she had agreed to go to a motel in the city and have sex with the man for money.

The woman told police that after the pair had sex, the man refused to pay her. So, police said, the woman jumped in the man's car and began fighting him as he drove toward Illinois in his car.

The woman was taken to a hospital in St. Louis.

Exotic dancer charged with falsely claiming rape on PSB

An exotic dancer who explained her half-naked presence on the Poplar Street Bridge with a claim of rape has been charged with filing a false police report, officials said Wednesday.

A young man who police said drove the stolen car from which she emerged in a traffic jam about 8 a.m. Tuesday was named in multiple traffic tickets, blamed for causing about a dozen collisions.

Jasmine Wright, 19, of St. Louis, originally said she was beaten and raped by the driver but later admitted she had sex for money and — naked from the waist down — pursued him after he refused to pay, St. Louis police said.

The driver, Justin Patizius-Leslie, 19, of Brentwood, was in a stolen car when he met Wright, a dancer at a men's club in Illinois, early Tuesday morning at a gas station, police said.

The two are alleged to have smoked marijuana and had sex in Wright's vehicle on the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn off Hampton Avenue near Interstate 44.

When he tried to drive off in the stolen car, police said, she jumped in. She beat him as he drove on I-44 to the Poplar Street Bridge, where traffic was jammed for construction, officers said.

The vehicle sideswiped or bumped into about a dozen others along the way, causing two reportedly minor injuries to occupants.

A bloodied Patizius-Leslie ran from Wright on the bridge and escaped by getting into a van and asking its driver for a ride to a hospital. Police soon arrested him.

He was treated at a hospital and ticketed by Illinois State Police for allegedly driving without a license, reckless driving, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed and leaving the scene of an injury accident.

Charges of tampering with a motor vehicle and patronizing prostitution were taken under consideration by the St. Louis circuit attorney's office. Patizius-Leslie also faces an unrelated drug charge in Illinois, authorities said.

Wright was also charged with possession of marijuana.

But later, when he refused to pay her, she refused to get out of the car. Police say she struck him repeatedly as he drove, causing him to ram numerous cars on the Poplar Street Bridge.

"All of a sudden I hear loud crashes going on behind me," Hosfeld said.

Hosfeld was stopped on the bridge when the battered, bloody young man approached him. "I just leaned out and said 'hey are you ok?' and he just made a mad dash over to here and tried to open the door but it was locked and then just proceeded to climb in the window." He adds, "He just climbed on in and says I'm hurt, take me to the hospital."

He didn't know if the man was armed, so he drove. But at his first opportunity, Hosfled flagged down police.

"As soon as I seen the officer I knew that was my chance to get the situation under control. So I waved him down. And the guy kept yelling at me don't do that, don't do that."

The officers quickly surrounded the vehicle and Don used his van as a shield while the officers subdued the suspect.

The suspect eventually did make it to the hospital where he was treated, then released into police custody.

For Don Hosfeld, it was an unusual end to his usual commute. "It was a wild experience that unfolded, I'll tell you that."

The suspect faces charges in Illinois and Missouri, including leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, and patronizing prostitution. The woman he was with will also face criminal charges. Both are currently in police custody.

The other city in the MetroEast that is your most likely prospect is Brooklyn, but the Brooklyn postings are more about SW's than SC's, and it seems that Washington Park might have better prospects for you.

Darn, I just learned that a new casino is being built at 8900 South Broadway, just outside the city's boundary with the county. The location is where the 16-year-old boy was recently electrocuted.

That means the new casino will be located only 2,500 feet south of the CFM/Shell gas station that's at Broadway and Davis. The casino will be less than half-a-mile away from the stroll.

Do you think the casino will have a negative impact on the stroll?

A 16-year-old boy was killed -- apparently by electrocution -- and his body was found early this morning on the construction site where a casino is being built on the property of a government facility, police said.

The victim was identified this afternoon as Christopher M. Morgan of the 2700 block of Arsenal. Police said it appears that Morgan grabbed a "live" electrical wire.

The teen's body was discovered about 3:43 a.m., lying on the ground at the old federal Defense Mapping complex at 8900 S. Broadway in south St. Louis County, said Tracy Panus, spokesman for the St. Louis County Police Department.

Pinnacle Entertainment Corp. bought the site and is building a $350-million casino. The site sits along the River Des Peres near the Mississippi River.

Panus said at 7 a.m. that police had left the scene and believed Morgan had been accidentally electrocuted. The teen was at the complex with three other people and county investigators were questioning them to determine exactly what happened, Panus said.

At least one witness said the teen had been electrocuted trying to climb an electrical tower at the complex.

The casino may be one of the reasons why the bridge over River des Peres connecting the city to the county was recently reopened.

I hope most visitors coming to and leaving from the casino use the Germania/Carondelet exits from Highway 55. I wouldn't want to see them affecting traffic patterns on South Broadway as that may have implications for the stroll?

If they use the Bates and Loughborough exits from Highway 55, the stroll and its neighborhood will experience a large upswell in traffic.

Other considerations: will the ladies be tempted to reel in gamblers? Will the police allow such attempts? Will gamblers drive a mere half-mile northward to visit the ladies? Will the police allow this? Will the casino influence police to crack down on the hobby?

So many questions. Answers, speculation welcome.

The company building the River des Peres casino is the same company building the Lumiere casino and luxury hotel located downtown just north of the Arch. The company also bought the President Casino on the Admiral riverboat.

So Pinnacle Entertainment of Las Vegas will have 2 big, big casinos located a mere 9 miles from each other.

The Stroll Casino (or "River City" casino as Pinnacle prefers calling it) is expected to open in late 2008.

Well on my travels through St Louis tues eve I decided to try the south Broadway stroll. As usual I take I-55 south to the arsenal exit over to Jefferson then take jefferson south. As I took Jefferson south I spotted a wsw leaving the QT and turned on chipewa and picked her up. I don't think that your supposition is correct. That ad is the exact duplicate of one on naughtynightlife that has been there forever. It has an old email which does not work, a link to her old website which is gone and her old phone (which I have tried to call but never an answer). ST. LOUIS: Man gets 5 years for prostituting girl

A man from St. Louis was sentenced Friday to the maximum term of five years in federal prison for prostituting a 17-year-old girl for crack cocaine this year.

Darrill Gray, 51, of the 5100 block of Robin Avenue, gave the girl crack and had sex with her in January, officials said, even after learning that she was only 17. He also let her go off with other men who had given him crack.

Gray pleaded guilty in April of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor.

A man who gave her crack and had sex with her before dropping her off at Gray's house to work off the crack debt as a prostitute, John Lee Geiler Jr., 36, of Jefferson County, pleaded guilty in May of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor. He was sentenced Aug. 17 to 45 months in federal prison.

Slain lawyer's ex-colleague is found dead

Clayton — When lawyer Ernest Brasier was found shot to death at his desk in downtown Clayton last year, baffled investigators looked for anything unusual among his clients, co-workers and private life.

Detectives took note of the fact that another lawyer in the practice, Daniel Bennett, had abruptly left the firm some weeks before, divorced and left the country.

It seemed to have no bearing on Brasier's killing, police said, although the fact found its way into at least one TV news report. Police said at the time that Bennett was not a suspect.

Now Bennett, 48, has been found dead in St. Louis in what may be no more than a coincidence. His cause of death has not been determined, but there was no apparent violence, officials said.

Clayton police Capt. Kevin Murphy said Monday that he was aware of Bennett's death, but he would not say whether detectives believe it had any connection to Brasier.

"It is significant only in the fact that he did work at the firm with Mr. Brasier," Murphy said. "Beyond that, I can't comment."

Police have said Brasier's slaying remains a mystery, with no witnesses or apparent motive. His wallet was not taken, suggesting that he might have been the killer's deliberate target, or perhaps a victim of mistaken identity.

Bennett's death in the Carondelet neighborhood attracted little attention. His body was found Thursday in a dwelling in the 100 block of Courtois Street, off Broadway. Officials summoned to the scene found no outward signs of violence and thus did not call out the homicide unit.

The cause of death remains undetermined, pending reports from toxicological tests, officials said.

Bennett, a former Marine, once worked at the law firm Boggs, Boggs & Bates, where Brasier, 57, was shot to death Dec. 19 in his third-floor office at 7912 Bonhomme Avenue.

Brasier, a married father of three who lived in Town and Country, specialized in defending personal-injury lawsuits.

Officials said a $50,000 reward offered anonymously in April remains in effect.

Bennett's ex-wife, Sharon Cliffe, said Monday that she did not know the circumstances of his death or whether it might be connected to Brasier's killing. She declined to comment further.

A woman who answered the phone at Boggs, Boggs & Bates said the firm had no comment.

Mary Carey, who works at the downtown St. Louis law firm C. Marshall Friedman, where Bennett worked about a year and a half ago, said his death took its workers off guard.

"We were surprised at first," Carey said. "And then, of course, we were wondering whether it was at all connected to the Clayton case."

East St. Louis was named an All-America City in 1959, having retained a modicum of prosperity through the decade as its population reached a peak of 82,295 residents.

Urban sprawl, and the construction of freeways, contributed to East St. Louis' decline as well.

Desperation led to East St. Louis being something of a "guinea pig" for every new federal program that came along — the Model Cities program, the Concentrated Employment Program and Operation Breakthrough. The programs did little to prevent the inevitable. The noted architect Buckminster Fuller suggested putting the entire city under a geodesic dome. In 1971, James Williams was elected as the city's first black mayor, but his election only advanced the city's skid. By the election of Carl Officer as mayor (the youngest in the country at that time at age 25) in 1979, many said the city had nowhere to go but up, yet things grew even worse. As white flight continued, sewers failed and garbage pickup ceased because the city could not pay the haulers. Police cars often didn't work, and neither did their radios. The East St. Louis Fire Department went on strike in the 1970s.

In 1990, the deed to East St. Louis City Hall was awarded to Walter DeBow, a resident who suffered brain damage at the hands of a fellow inmate in the city jail and won a $3.4 million lawsuit award against the city in 1985. When the city couldn't pay, St. Clair County Judge Roger Scrivner awarded DeBow the deed to City Hall. The city got it back years later.

Well gang, I spent two event-filled days in St. Louis. On Tuesday I drove from Columbia, Missouri along Highway 70 and, this time, I got off at the Jennings Station Road exit of St. Louis because I wanted to check out the action along Lillian, Robin, Wren, and West Florrisant roads. Something that struck me as funny while I was in St. Louis is the unnecessary rush hour traffic jam at the Poplar Street Bridge. No traffic whatsoever during rush hour! On the Eads Bridge, there was about one car per football field of length.

As I was on the Eads, I took a gander to my left at the MLK Bridge; it had a bit more cars on it but traffic was moving along pefectly fine. Don't let that Poplar Street Bridge snag ya guys. ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH - 11/21/2007

ST. LOUIS -- Detectives are investigating two city shootings that both happened about 10 last night; one killed a 17-year-old girl and another left a man in critical condition.

The dead teen was identified by police today as Jasmine McKinney of the 3400 block of Lafayette Avenue.

McKinney was shot as the car she was riding in passed through the intersection of Potomac Street and Oregon Avenue. A man standing near another car opened fire, police said, striking the car's rear windshield and hitting McKinney in the head.

The driver of McKinney's car sped to the parking lot of the Schnucks grocery store at South Grand Boulevard and Gravois Avenues, where he got help from a police officer. The driver and another front seat passenger were not injured, police said.

The girl was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead at 10:32 p.m..

The injured man, 26, who was not identified, was shot near the intersection of Texas Avenue and Utah Street in the Benton Park West neighborhood. He was transported by ambulance to St. Louis University Hospital, where he was treated for wounds to his face, back and right leg. His condition remains critical, but it has stabilized, police said.

No suspects are in custody in either shooting.

I know this isn't the end of the world, but let me tell you what it is. It's being cuffed, taken to jail. Get a mug shot, put in a very small cell and then sitting and waiting. . . and waiting. Waiting while your family doesn't know where you are or what's going on. Waiting without having any idea how long you're going to sit there or what exactly is going to happen. It's having to try to figure out if you have to `fess up to the cops and your family.

It's knowing that even though it's techically a midemeanor, that I now have an arrest record. And now I have to deal with this. I'm looking at potentially $500 in fines and another $1500 in legal fees. This sucks and this sucks large.

I don't wish this on anyone else. I'm not here to tell anyone what to do or not to do. But for all the good times I've reported on here, I just felt obliged to report the flip side of the story.

Gang, I had a fantabulous time in St. Louis on Thursday and Friday.

It was my 5th trip to the big city this year, and I couldn't resist dipping my hand into the muddy waters of the Mississippi River downtown by the old, venerable Eads Bridge....a majestic, eye-pleasing bridge whose old-fashioned stone and brick are amazing. The bridge is beautiful to behold up close. There's a great huge metallic statue of the explorers Lewis and Clark by the bridge, too...a really entertaining statue I enjoyed looking at.

Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself. As I was driving on Highway 70 near St. Peters, I gave a ring to one of the Craig's List ladies who caught my fancy. She never gives her name in her ad but usually starts it off with the words "Hey Guys." Well, I got her voicemail saying to leave a message and she would call back at 7 PM. So I left a message. Most of you know it's very dangerous to place a call while driving, so I next pulled over to the side of the highway, its shoulder, to make my second call.

I called a lady I saw on Backpage, but the recording said wrong number or code. I just checked the Backpage ad--I dialed the exact number shown in the ad. Oh well. So I call a third lady, but the recording says her phone is temporarily not in service. This is turning out like the ads in the Columbia Tribune!

So I pull away from the shoulder, and drive onward toward St. Louis's South Side to see if there are any SWs about.

It was about 2:30 PM when I arrived at the South Side. I usually avoid looking for ladies at this time of day, but delays in Columbia kept me from arriving any earlier. I saw a 40- or 50-something thin, extremely blonde SW walking northward on Broadway near Davis. She was wearing a green coat. She almost never posts photos on Craig's List, but one time she did, and here it is below.

Well, you can see the photo is a bit blurry, so it's hard to make out the face very well, and the body. The lady in the photo looks very hot, however.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the lady who showed up at the Motel 6. I'm not saying Amber is ugly. By no means is she ugly. She's average-looking, which is fine, and of course she's only 18. But the photo had my mind racing, and it's one of the reasons I drove 125 miles.

Be careful with backpage ads. The admins of that site cut and paste old ads from girls previously posting on that site as well as ads from other sites that ladies have posted. You can easily tell when you look at the date stamp on the upper right hand corner of the posting, if it is not the current days date, it is a cut and paste. My point is that not all the gals are really currently advertising or even still in town. The admins do this to make their site look more active than it really is given they are a pay for ad site with the providers.

Getting a tattoo can be a painful proposition, but usually it's just the needle you have to worry about. Two men trying to trace a loaded .357-caliber Magnum as a pattern for a tattoo accidentally shot themselves, the Otero County Sheriff's Department said Monday.

Robert Glasser and Joey Acosta, both 22, were treated at a hospital in El Paso, Texas, after the shooting Thursday evening in nearby Chaparral.

Authorities said Glasser was struck in the hand when the gun accidentally went off, and Acosta was hit in the left arm. Their injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.
