What is with the "Confirm Receipt" function, especially since I can choose to read the PM yet not confirm getting it?
Sometimes I get PMs and don't have time to respond, or want to think about what my response should be. Do most people understand that?
More important to me, can I make my default setup NOT to ask for a confirmation. This sh*t is not that important that most of my PMs should request a confirm.
Maybe I'm just not getting this.
(I did try to find the answers in the FAQ and elsewhere. My apologies if I missed it.)
What is with the "Confirm Receipt" function, especially since I can choose to read the PM yet not confirm getting it?
The function is just so the sender can know that the PM has been read. The board is setup to automatically ask for that. You don't have to "confirm" but then the sender won't know you've read it unless you reply. Doesn't look like the board is set up to give us the option of not asking for confirmation.
Tried to get together with her a couple days ago. She wanted 40 for a BJ. That's not happening.

Went to Dr. What do they know right. Instead of prescribing a new girlfriend, he gave me a few Viagras. Wow, went for a few hours. It was funny, the next two days it was like I was in HS all over again. Random hardons that would not go away. I loved it, and hated it at the same time.
But, dumped her, and never had any problems with her cousin so I was cured.

I did have that same unfortunate problem -- called "inorgasmia" -- back in 1997. Had a bout of depression when my folks both died within months. My doctor prescribed Paxil. [From WebMD: Sexual problems including low sex drive or inability to have an orgasm are common but reversible, dizziness, headaches, nausea right after a dose, insomnia, feeling jittery.] Paxil gave me most of those side effects. I am young (26-30), but have heart disease, so keeping it up for long periods is a problem. I would recommend Cialis over Viagra though, as it stays in your system for 36 hours, so no need for a 2nd pill the next day. Like Bob, I have bought some from an online pharmacy, one where the pills cost a dollar each, ($1. 29 is more accurate).
As far as either delaying orgasm, I cannot say. I take forever to begin with. I can say though, that after taking them, it was no more difficult than usual to get off.

I will soon be moving back to U-City after a few months away, but during that time I discovered this site and am even more excited to be moving back now. I was big into this hobby while I lived overseas (mostly in Korea) and am looking forward to getting back into it here. I will enjoy window shopping the streets at first but am also a big fan of strip clubs and have checked out the Washington Park forums. I have zero experience trying things in USA clubs but after lurking on here for a but I will try some of these Masters' techniques. Please do your homework. Read back at least several months on the active threads, read the FAQ, the 22 Rules, etc. Almost all of your questions will be answered there or the sources will be referenced.
It is patently obvious from your postings you have NOT done even this "safe" homework, stuff you could do without even hitting the street.
A lot of us on this board are willing to help some. But by your own admission you will be unable to reciprocate in any meaningful manner. If you are not out on the street looking and only using what we feed you how can you ever give us any useful information?
Do you not see the unfairness of this request?

I have dated numerous ladies from CL and backpage, if you want their information and want to spend that type of $$. I was simply asking for some assistance with exploring the woman that aren't as expensive who might have their own place to play, without having to worry that uncle Leo is going to mess with me and risk my name showing up in the paper the following day. I have read the 22 rules but not comfortable rolling around in those areas as I am almost certain I would look out of place for the area. So if you want info on more expensive girls, I cam give you that in exchange for the info you have to share.

Big AMEN to this good news! Very glad you're back in good shape. ICUs are not fun and pneumonia is about the worst condition to suffer from. Coughing and fever and breathing problems... Easy to see why it used to kill people before anti-biotics.

Thanks! Since you don't have a much of a history, you could re-register with a new user name. You may need to delete your account first if you want to use the same email address. Almost everything is one user name per email address.

Last night has to be one of my all time best dreams! I've had some difficult financial times for the past several months and have been saving up for a much needed night out.

A proxy server allows you to go to site "A", the proxy site, and from there go to site "B", the site you want to hide. Here are two scenarios and how it would look.
You want to read this post from home without leaving a trace for your wife's divorce lawyer to find. You find a proxy site, (google free proxys or free proxys https) and and use one. Your ISP sees you went to the proxy site but does not know where you went after that. If you have used the privacy mode on your browser, you are fairly safe. You may be asked why you go to a proxy site every day for an hour a day, but not why you are ready SW reviews.
You want to read this from work. First read your company's Internet Use policy. Maybe, don't would be safest for your paycheck. Going to a proxy site is in and by its self a violation some places. Using a proxy site will hide what sites you go to, but will tell the IT guys to take a look at your computer and what you are doing at lunch time. Depending on your work place, you are either safe or about to need your resume. Note: proxy servers and privacy settings will not block remote viewing software or video cameras over your shoulder. I know people who have been fired with both.
On the other side. This web site and many others record the IP address of every poster and / or visitor. This allows Jackson to block an IP address to prevent a banned user from using the same computer and a different name. It is not a foolproof method since large ISPs like Charter and ATT rotate IP address to customers.

When you are surfing the web it is easy for those who know something to trace you back to your ISP (the folks who provide you internet access) and I think even to your particular computer.
That's why there are proxy servers. My understanding is you sign on with one and it routes you through several servers in different places before you actually get to the site you want. I think it is not foolproof but takes some resources to beat. It's like locks, I guess. Rather than taking the time to beat a fancy one the thief just goes on to the next house that probably has a cheap, easy to overcome lock.

But it's a bit complex because you may or may not have permissions to install the software and you've got to worry about getting through the company and your own firewall.
It's probably easier to peruse through your own smartphone, honestly.

What is the theoretical law? How does that translate into reality on the street?
The most important thing to remember when meeting uncle Leo is to SHUT UP! You have the right to remain silent, use it. Every question posed by Leo is part of their investigation of the stop. If you were up to something or even if not, it does you no good to volunteer any information to them.
They will play on your fears to get you to lock yourself into a story and then poke holes in it. They will will tell you they already know exactly what you were doing, your just making it harder on everyone (you especially). But if your just honest they can work it out right now and you can avoid getting everyone else involved. Yada yada. Courts have clearly stated that Leo can lie to obtain information during investigations, they can make promises they have no authority to keep.
The best course of action is as stated by others here over and over. Remain silent, you are not being rude, you are exercising your rights. Don't ever presume you can lie or outsmart Leo. They do their job EVERY DAY. You have an encounter maybe once a year (hopefully never) they are in their comfort zone, they will get you if you volunteer information.
The other big point is searches. Remember they can pat you down for weapons but no further. If they begin to do more then that."mind if I check your pockets too." etc. Calmly decline and ask if you have to. Same goes for the car. Never ever.
You are thinking. Well hey I don't have anyone in the car and it's clean so where's the harm? It'll make you look better. Look innocent if you let them find nothing. WRONG. I was just trying to figure out what the original bank at that intersection was and google did not have the answers.
I have a question for another venue, not officially scholarly, regarding St. Louis history.
If someone was to attempt a history of St. Louis strip clubs (including the ones closest to STL in ILL) , where would they start?

I was watching cable the other night and the show "Manswers" (not sure if it's called that or the man show, it's on spike though). And they were going through the perennial question: "How to tell if that SW you are with is an undercover LE or not." They went over the obvious that the undercover person can lie about being LE etc. They said the only way to tell for sure is to ask first if you can take naked pictures of them and then taking some.
The show's reasoning is that taking naked pictures is not against the law and you are not subject to arrest for the pictures, but an undercover LE will not allow them to be taken.
So I guess my new mantra is "no pic, no play".

RoscoThere is no sure-fire way of determining if a prostitute is an undercover law enforcement officer. I would think asking to take a picture of them naked would weed out all le officers, but the majority of the girls out there don't want naked pictures of them floating around either regardless of whether or not they are law enforcement. The best bet would be handing over the "donation" and them explicitly telling them the money is for a strip show. Giving a girl money to strip is not illegal in any way. If she presses you and tries to ask you if you would like to have sex she is definitely a cop, or just a very stupid ho. Once the girl takes off her clothes for the "strip show" you can feel free to take it further than that. Most undercover le will not get completely naked no matter how commited they are to thier job.

Been fishing for a while on CL Casual Encounters.
Actually got one on the line, and scheduled to meet tomorrow. Understood that a real gal (1 real gal may reply for about 50 robot spam replies if your lucky) replying to one of these adds is probably not top notch. However, the info provided me via emails and some stellar online research has gotten me a few pics from social networking and other sources etc, and she looks pretty good.
