Rosco, there are blood tests for HSV1 and HSV2. It is not totally accurate, what test really is, but its better than nothing. You could possibly have herpes and just not be symptomatic. It is also quite possible that you dodged the proverbial bullet in this case. I don't remember the transmission rates off the top of my head but some googling should bring that info up. If she was taking the anti-viral medication it does reduce the risk.
There are a few problems here.
First, it was wrong of her to not tell you about her condition PRIOR to intimacy. If she lied about that, what else isn't she telling you?
Secondly, why on earth would you believe bare backing her would be safe. Statistically SAFER than a street walker but definitely not safe. Plus if you are paying her, how many other guys are doing the same thing?
Third, a condom will not eliminate the risk of herpes infection. Herpes is passed by contact and often the ladies will get it around the vagina not just inside. So wherever your skin and her skin contacts in the genital area could be a possible transmission point - IF she is shedding viral cells in that area.
I really got to question your decision making process here. She knowingly exposed you to herpes without your knowledge and consent. If you're not showing symptoms, there's nothing they can do but test for exposure to HSV by testing for antibodies. And since the body produces antibodies upon exposure to the virus even though that exposure doesn't result in a full-fledged infection with the virus (hey, the immune system works occasionally!), the presence of HSV antibodies doesn't mean much. IIRC, about the only way they can confirm actual infection is to culture the virus from an actual HSV lesion (IIRC, that's the only way they can confirm whether the infection is HSV 1 or HSV 2, also), and if you have an actual lesion you're pretty sure to know something is wrong.
On the other hand, you may have a subclinical, asymptomatic infection. The source cited by Bill Bradsky estimates a total infection rate in the adolescent/adult population of about 20% (1 in 5) for HSV 2; I've read estimates that it may be as high as 50% or so (owing to the fact that a majority of herpes infections are asymptomatic, and the "victim" never ever realizes s/he is infected). Rates of infection for HSV 1 (the "cold sore" virus) are much higher (60% or so, if not more), and practically everyone in the US will test positive on the antibody test for HSV 1 exposure, the virus is that common.
There's something to be said for always using a condom for intercourse, even with a monogamous, trusted, partner, unless you want children. :)

According to Dan Savage, more people have HSV and don't know it than have been diagnosed with it. The same thing with HPV. The vast majority of people who are exposed are asymptomatic. Basically, his opinion is that if you are sexually active and non-monogamous, you probably have been exposed to one or both.
Unless you have outbreaks, don't worry about it. There's nothing you can do about it.

I see 2 WSW that I want to check out and while at a red light going straight and this County Cop car does a 180 like I stole something! I had my windows up and normally drive with them down to make eye contact with the ladies but today I was not thinking. He pulls me over and asked me to roll up my window 1/2 way and then says "You know why I am pulling you over right? "I said no because I really didn't at that time and then he pulls out a tint meter and tells me that he couldn't see through my windows and that my tint was illegal. My car has 3% tint all the way around and this is the 1st time I get pulled over for it. I have had it on for 5 years since I bought the car new. It helped me out so many times with a sunshade on the windshield I could virtually park anywhere and get a BJ and not be bothered or noticed. I am just used to saying St. Louis County because I live in the county not the city. I was charged with operating a vehicle with light reducing film or something like that.it was 3% all the way around but as of yesterday I replaced it with 30%. It still looks dark enough from the rest being 3%.

Unfortunately, Patrick, she lives up to her bitchy persona in person, too. Not wanting any kudos for a "TOFTT situation," but I bit the bullet yesterday and saw her for .75 at her incall in Collinsville.

Wonder of wonders, I've found myself in a FWB situation. It's great, but now I find myself having to host, and apart from the dive on North Lindbergh where Britt Carr hung out a few months ago, I don't know of good venues for such a purpose. I had a dream about Cassandra Smith last week.
