Cops are out in full force in Harrisburg.

I got busted today at the Best Western.

Anybody know of a good lawyer in the Harrisburg area? Any advice would be great. I don't have anything formaly yet as they said I would be mailed my notice but I will be charged with solicitation.

It was a girl off of CL. She had an out of state number so I thought it would be okay. Turns out they're bustying girls and making them turn around to trap others.

So, it seems that the SW scene has vastly improved recently. I drive through the strip two to three times a day now, thanks to work (usually making a detour so I hit 4th, Logan, and 3rd, just to see if anything's available). There's almost always a WSW available, though she's probably around a 4 by SW standards. But I've also seen another WSW, two HSW, and three or four BSWs, just in the last week or two. The breakdown has been roughly:

10 A.M. ish = 1 WSW, 1 BSW
12 noon-ish = 1 WSW, 2 BSW, 1 HSW
4 P.M. ish = 2 WSW, 3 BSW, 1 HSW

Of course, this varies slightly every day. A few have looked pretty good (7 or 8 on the SW scale), some not so good (as previously mentioned), and one chick looked INCREDIBLE. But Leo was out wandering around, so I didn't say Hi.

Thank you so much for your contradiction, but I stand behind my review. After reading your rebuttal, I re-read my review to see if maybe I had been a little to harsh or such. I honestly believe that I was fair and accurate. I had read the reviews that you had on the New Jersey site of bestgfe and believe they are accurate also since most follow the same session that I received. I will say though the only two things you disputed in my entire review was the looseness factor and the giggling. Now I don't want this to go to a point of endless namecalling and such, and am sure you have many satisfied clients. They're Under New Management as Spa on 2nd, formerly Harrisburg Therapeutic Massage, and long ago, Man's World Mini Spa. New managers also own The Oasis and Silk Stockings strip clubs; I thought I'd see how they ran this place. After getting buzzed in and a short wait, I was greeted by a girl who led me to a room. She left, and shortly thereafter, Raven entered. We discussed their rates (30 min, 45 min, hr, hr with whirlpool are available), and she took my money...

Secondary stage along the 'bar' with $5 to sit in armchairs on stage with the dancers (across from barstools on the secondary stage).

They've always had the better building than Adult World, but the test is the girls. I saw one dancer from Oasis (and she was & is a hottie), and I knew one of the new girls; most of the rest were young & attractive, a few I could tell were new to stripping. Oasis was always over priced usually unnice girls. Frequently only two or three working at any given hour.

Adult World is cheaper and has more girls. Seems they get more clients so thr girls get paid better. But they also seem to have more rules.

And CL is also full of scammers and stings... I didn't mean to recommend it.

BTW, neither club 'pays' the dancers -- they're 'independent contractors' who work for tips and tips only. Many clubs have a house fee that the girls pay, or a minimum number of lap dances; some also require the girls to tip the DJ (AW doesn't have a DJ, and I don't think they have a house fee either). The club often keeps most of the lap dance fee (Club 22 keeps half), which in turn causes that $20 dance to double in price when the dancer asks for another $20 'tip' right away.

AW is a better deal all around, because the tip goes to the girl, all of it -- but they are much stricter about shifts, and the dancers can't skip a turn on stage to continue a lap dance. The club itself is nothing to write home about, but the dancers are for the most part beautiful and pleasant to be around...

It seems like Oasis/Club 22 gets dancers that are new and less sure of themselves, so they're not as outgoing. Once they figure the biz out (and realize that they're getting screwed on lap dance money) they head over to AW. The ones that stay either want/need the schedule flexibility, or ??? We'll see how it goes...

Cover is $15, same as AW... I'm hoping that one or the other will drop their cover a bit (this ain't Philly, after all), now that there's some competition.

Hi am am a local guy that has slot of business dealings in harrisburg. I just found this site and like it. CL has scared me off every time I think about using it. NEW YORK (Reuters) - Craigslist, the popular Internet classifieds listing service, agreed on Thursday to crack down on advertisements posted by prostitutes in a pact struck with 40 U.S. states.

The listings site has been under pressure to screen out cyber advertisements that offer sexual services. These listings have given prostitutes easy access to potential clients cruising the Web, law enforcement authorities say.

Craigslist, whose listings are generally free to post except in some apartment and job categories, will require that advertisers in its "erotic services section" pay a fee with a valid credit card and give a working phone number, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal said.

The site will provide the resulting information in response to law enforcement subpoenas, he said.

"Prostitutes will hopefully stop using Craigslist to break the law, knowing that their posts could lead to arrest and conviction," Blumenthal said in a statement.

Blumenthal had complained to the company in March about postings from prostitutes, which he said have often included explicit photographs, hourly rates and detailed descriptions of the services on offer. He said a Connecticut woman had been arrested for advertising sexual services on the site.

The Connecticut attorney general was joined in the pact by 39 other states, as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam. He said Craigslist will also explore new technology, including better filters, to stop ads for illegal activity.

Craigslist, a privately held company that provides classifieds and online forums, said it was committed to preventing misuse of its site. The site states that advertising illegal services, including prostitution, is prohibited, but the new measures should help further prevent postings for unlawful activity, the company said.

"Requiring credit-card verification, and charging a fee to post in this category raises accountability to a point where we expect few illicit ads will remain," CEO Jim Buckmaster said. He said that "more than ever, those who would misuse Craigslist to violate the law will find that Craigslist is a very inhospitable place."

The San Francisco-based service also said it had filed 14 lawsuits against businesses selling software and other services designed to evade its terms of use.

Craigslist said its website is used by 40 million Americans every month. It said the incidence of crime on the site is low, but that "no amount of criminal activity is acceptable."

On Wednesday, at about 8:30 PM, I was cruising 3rd St. On the corner of 3rd and Verbeke, there was a blonde woman, probably early 30s, in a skirt and nicer clothing, but she seemed to give me the look. Hey guys. I found my first WSW in a little while who I actually managed to get some time with on Wednesday at 11 PM. Her name is Krys. She is probably about 5"6', with brown or reddish hair (it was hard to tell, as I never saw her in light). If you already know this, I apologize, but just in case. Don't be looking for a movie-type situation, where a girl in a mini-skirt, belly shirt, and fishnet stockings is out on the street. These girls dress like anyone else, etc. There is a certain "look" you often see the girls have once you get used to mongering, but it takes a while. The girls will look at you (give "the look, " as opposed to the look I just mentioned), basically meet your eyes and stare you down.

The other thing is that Harrisburg is very hit or miss right now. I was out last Wednesday, as I said, and it was raining. Two girls out. Then, I was out on that Saturday, when it was a warmer night and it was dry out, and there was no action to be found. Whether that's because those girls didn't need the money that much that night, or because they were with other guys, is hard to say. There are a LOT of mongers in Harrisburg right now. I think more often than not, its NOT the site fees they are scamming. Its your credit card info.

ID Theft kinda thing. A HUGE chunk of legit site credit card charges end up being disputed even when they are legit. (Thats why ebay wont allow sellers of adult stuff to advertise they accept Paypal, they dont make enough to deal with the huge # of chargebacks)
Most of the time the banks chargeback the seller and then its up to the seller to "prove" it was a legit charge.

This same ad posted in Bham recently. like the other guy noted, no real provider is going to want a CC #.

Like cops dont have CC #s or cant buy a prepaid one.

I would say a good 90-95% of the ads without phone #s are scams of some type.
In the erotic services section anyway.

Located on Hannah St. Inside, you pass through a metal detector, and a $5 door charge. The large inside room features a bar on one wall, red velvet cushioned chairs along two walls. Two poles in the middle.

Pardon the long post, but this is two posts I made on another board...

I stopped in late Thursday/early Friday -- around 12:30 or so. I didn't do a thorough search, but the club is nice inside. There's a VIP area near the front with a cozy feel -- club chairs and a fireplace; bar along the side, oval main stage with more bar around about half and low seating around the rest. Looks like another VIP area in the back with its own mini-stage, but I didn't check that out fully, and I didn't get any dances so I can't say anything about that area either. Cover charge at the door was $10, and they tried to sell me a $500 Platinum member card, but I didn't get details as I wasn't interested -- maybe next time I'll listen to the spiel more carefully.

Main stage has two poles, and there were always two girls on stage, starting at the far end by the lower seats for one song then moving to the pole by the bar seats for the second. The girls got topless by the second song (some were faster than that even), and walked around the bar after the set to collect tips. (They don't do that now -- tip the girl on stage only)

There were at least 8 dancers, if not more -- I didn't try to count, but there were 4 that I knew from other clubs in the area, and I also knew one of the bartenders. One of the waitresses was also very friendly -- she finished her shift early and sat down next to me where we had a passionate chat about sports bars, sports in general, and football in particular. I was drinking Bacardi & Coke, and the drinks were a good size (and not all ice) for $5 -- I was actually able to get more than three swigs out of my drink and not be left with a glass of ice cubes.

As I suspected, parking is an issue. There is a valet, but it didn't seem worth it to me. The nice off-street lot next door is NOT available, so you must park along the street. If they are busy (and the Grand Opening might be, with the feature entertainer), parking will be scarce.

Overall, my first impression is pretty favorable, if you're interested in an R-rated strip club experience -- booze & boobs. I'll reserve final judgment until I've checked out the lapdances, though.

I caught Sunny Leone's feature show last Friday -- typical feature dancer show, very pretty woman, she got nude (the house girls only get topless)... I gave one of the dancers that I've known awhile (from another club) a couple dollars to stick in her cleavage and told her to introduce herself to Sunny. One other note: Savannah's has a limited food menu, about a half dozen different sandwiches. I tried the ham sandwich, which was very good. As I commented to a friend, they had the whole deal: food, beer & booze, sports on TV, and lots of pretty half-naked women on stage. What more does a guy need?

Overall, a very nice atmosphere and a classy club -- don't expect any kind of 'extras' here...

The appeals court ruling described how the man first approached state police to say he had been solicited for sex at the Shiatsu Spa. Troopers then supplied the unnamed man with government money and sent him back four times to engage in what the county judge called "a smorgasbord of sexual activity" during June and July 2006.
Lehigh County Judge Robert L. Steinberg said the man's subsequent visits did not advance the police investigation. He was given $360 total to pay for the services that allegedly involved Chon and another woman, plus the extra $180 for his time.
"The outrageous nature is it went beyond what was necessary to prove the prostitution charge," said Chon's lawyer, Maureen Coggins.
The Superior Court opinion recounted how police and the informant were recorded laughing about the sexual encounters.
"We expect more from the police, and demand that they conduct their investigations and utilize their resources without resorting to such embarrassing investigative techniques," Steinberg said in a written opinion that the appeals court cited at length.
"No adequate supervisory guidance was provided, no standards existed for this type of investigation, and some of the behavior by the participants was sophomoric," Steinberg wrote.
The lead investigator said the informant contacted police because he had been offended by the offer of sex, according to the Superior Court ruling.
"It is difficult to imagine how this informant could have been so offended, and yet proceed to engage in oral and sexual intercourse with the two women in this case and laugh about it with the investigating troopers after each occasion," wrote Judge John T. Bender for the three-judge Superior Court panel.
Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin said officers sent the informant back repeatedly to help them determine the scope of the organization. He said he was concerned about the precedent the ruling might set and plans to seek review by the state Supreme Court.
"Is it outrageous police conduct if it's done in a drug setting or if it's done in an investigation into weapons sales?" Martin said. "That's an important consideration."
He described the extra cash payments to the informant as a necessary evil and common practice.
State police spokeswoman Lt. Myra Taylor said department policy prohibits undercover officers from engaging in any sexual act, but she also said the informant's behavior did not conform with state police standards. She said the troopers' conduct has been addressed internally.

Well I had a busy weekend.
