the strip club was named the marine bar. i was there once (in 1997, the night arizona won the ncaa championship) and there was a mid-40s lady lurching about the stage. played some pool, drank some beer, went to the 1st city saloon (hereafter: the shitty). not long after, they lost their liquor license due to hiring **** dancers (allegedly hotties). it became a juice bar (no beer, wine, liquor, or smoking cigarettes) and closed sometime in 1998. every so often, some troupe of strippers come through town, and if you like banging into testosterone fueled, super-aggressive us coasties (with a .2 cover), give it a shot.

if you want to get laid in ketchikan, you must not be picky and brave the crowds at the roller bay or the shitty. weekends are usually way too busy/loud at either, bit weekday nights during the summer may yield some transient tourist-shop workers. all in all, it seems somewhat difficult to get any kind of action if you aren't someone who is vouched for by some local.

I can only say what works for me and as always YMMV applies.
