Lapd is doing a fine job in downtown Los Angeles. They are moving all the homeless, drug dealers, and streetwalkers out of the area. And new developments, such as condos, apartments, business's are moving in the area. Sometime in the future there will not be any working women, or men in the streets. What I am trying to figure out is, where are these streetwalkers going to move on too next? What streets will they roam, when downtown is revitalized? Where will all the homeless go?Well there not really moving them all that much anymore some of the criminal element decided it was better to avoid the increase in enforcement those who had warrants etc and were smart enough to see what was going on left the area, most were not and all the ones who were committing criminal acts that caught the eye of le got swept up, most ended up back on the streets because well some judges are just plain fucked up, they will sentence a working person for a first time dui to alll kinds of things, but give a convicted felon time served for dealing drugs. No wonder LE sticks to s/w's and tickets, got to suck to work to get someone on a serious offense then have a judge shit on you. After that the ACLU got behind defending the homeless, claiming they had a legal right to live on the public sidewalk, Although there are still other laws they are breaking, Blocking a sidewalk is still illegal, littering, etc. etc. LE doesn't seem to care to enforce other Laws and want to push ahead with the same one, instead of trying different angles to tie up the ACLU.

Just a side note, a Business owner may not place a sign advertising his business on the sidewalk, but homeless people can place full size tents blocking the entire sidewalk. Back to the point the homeless that have not returned downtown, have moved all over, just down the street past Alameda they can be found in numbers, about 50 are in and around the area of Central and 23rd, they move from alley to alley shooting up drugs shitting in the alleys and leaving trash and debris scattered about. Some headed back into the SFV, I would love to know how they caravan with there carts but they manage to get around, about 2 dozen are living under the Burbank blvd underpass near the park. Most hardcore homeless people are still living downtown, they get there federal checks run to the check cashing place then go buy drugs, the cycle continues and we end up paying for it.

Couldnt agree more. Everyone I've come across in downtown sympathizes for the homeless and it pisses me off. They all turn a blind eye to the reality of the situation.

So sick of LE doing nothing. Cant enforce the laws cause there isnt enough room in the jails. Most of the homeless committing the crimes have mental illness, instead of jail they would go to an institution and the state cant afford it. So instead LE turns a blind eye to it as well. But if it was me shitting and pissing all over the streets, or smoking crack on the corner, or harassing every person that crossed my path - I'd get arrested in no time.

I only go by there only for nostalgia. Back in the mid 80's before AIDS really took hold, things were far different. Why?LE Is clamping down, they assigned extra Plain Clothes units due to the Serious issues that have caught the attention of brass, from what I heard, but the last place I would ever monger is Downtown LA.

For your own good be careful if you knew what was going on you wouldn't even consider it.

I can give these general tips without compromising to much.

1) Always bring your Own protection. 2) Never close your eyes.

Remember quite a few people tried to warn you about it, don't 8itch later

Look....this guy fits what I imagine is the typical profile of a monger downtown:

One night I was playing a decent size game at Commerce. This aging trucker ~ mid 50's sits down. Not the brightest guy in the world, and very quickly he is accusing the asian majority there of being "sneaky" and "tricky". Anywho, this guy is a slob. Disheveled, fat dressed in clothes with multiple stains, and half blind enough that he was unable to shave off all his facial hair and there are small clumps at random, particularly around his neck. He luckboxes his way into a $800 or so win, has dinner, and announces that he is off to "see what the hookers are up to".

I have no doubt this guy was headed up to downtown, and would probably find some horrible crack head to be attractive, basically cause he can't see.Funny ass comparison! :D The thing I love more is how spiteful and disgusted you must've been at the time from seeing all that crap and how his further stacking ignorance only made things worse, LOL

...Minus the horrible physical description and ignorant attitude of that hypothetical downtown monger profile, the rest of it fits me cuz this location has been one of my most common trolling grounds, mainly due to price which is probably one of my hugest factors right now, unfortunately.

I have videotaped a number of girls who ended up passing out for short moments to even longer moments. I have run into a handful of hotter gems in that area though, like 8s but that is very rare. This may also help with finding concentrations of SWs too, I hope.

Well you are not in the downtown neighborhood at all. In fact, you are not even on the correct side of the 110 FWY.

However, my perverted and slightly disturbing friend, you are not totally out of luck.

One way you can handle this situation is to go after the mega hotties that seem to drop in on the Mayfair from the nearby apartments. See, USC is nearby and many of the students live at an apartment building nearby whose name escapes me at the moment. I often see said hotties coming out of the Mayfair late at night. While I can offer no first hand experience, I can rationally conclude that the Mayfair has a bar that these "students" attend on a regular basis, particularly Fri and Sat night.

The other way you can handle it is that the Mayfair is indeed located in a very scummy area. Hence there are a lot of crack ho's on the street. Provided you are a brave soul(its not the safest area), trolling on the streets at night should yield a toothless wonder or two.

As for a car....be careful. You might find something at the Huntington...be really careful of LE.....which is located about 2 miles to the east at 8th and Main, and you are also reasonably close to the Fig track which can be fertile on weekends especially after 1am south of the USC campus.

I was out a few nights ago in downtown area and also James Wood (a few streets north of JW as well).

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday so I got off of work a bit early. I decided to go through 7th/Towne just to see what's out there. If you do this long enough, you get to see who is a SW.

I believe I remember someone once posting a question as to where one may find TV's and the moderator took down the question stating that this was not the proper forum to discuss the topic of gay sex or something like that.
