Can someone tell me where I can get a cheap room for the night that wouldn't require I'd? OR rent a room for an hour?

Cheap rooms, like the infamous le Hotel Carlyle, come with 4-legged, multi-legged and no legged-microscopic residents and one should be careful what surfaces are touched.

They look at IDs, and sometimes they leave a reservation with a misspelling alone. That's true for a lot of hotels. Reserve online with an altered name spelling, and it goes through on check--in. Give them a credit card, but pay cash on the way out, so no charges appear.

I think the Carlyle is permanently closed. I checked in June and it looks like it was damaged from a fire.
