So I'm considering joining a dating site but don't like my CC credentials being all over the net. I've searched and asked around and it seems the safest way to go is buying a reloadable debit card and pay as you go. So I did. Bought the green dot debit card, then you go to their website to register. There they ask you for name, address, zip code and yes, . SSN. Joke? Of course I declined.

Whats the way around this?

Thanks mongers and Happy New Year.I bought one of those cards once and when it asked my name and address, I made them up. Worked fine.
