Assuming one has a valid Concealed Pistol License in FL, do you guys carry when meeting in your or hers premises? If yes, do you announce to the person that you carry before the meet or during? And if you do, what are the reactions of the person? Anyone cares to share situations and experiences relative to carrying?

I'll start first. Several years ago, I had a UTR regular in the West Palm Beach area. We'd meet once a week. Mary is a very sweet, chunky talkative latina that she would visit me often. In the beginning, I didn't care to tell her that I'm strapped and since we meet in my office, I didn't actually carry my 9 mm Glock on me, but rather concealed in my drawer. One day, we met outside for food a drinks and I was carrying (obviously). The Glock 9 mm I carry is not a 1911 size but still rather bulky so she noticed it. I told her that I never go outside my house or office without it. She was cool with that and from that moment I didn't even had it on me when meeting her in my office. This is a situation where you know the person. But what about a casual encounter at her premises?

Do you or you do not carry? And assuming you do carry, do you tell your date? That's the question.

My personal safety is my #1 priority. With that being said. I only do. Outcall to hotels 90% and my home the rest. Incall is just too dangerous. Most of these girls work out of. Low rent hotels or shady apartments. If you used your friend in her home or hotel even if you were 100% justified you would be through the meat grinder. . My atf provider knows I carry and is cool with it.

If you are insistent on carrying while doing incall you might tell prior. If she's cool with it you can probably confident robbery or worse is not her intent. And if discovers it, it would not be a surprise.

Any way you shake it these ladies are dangerous. With demons and mental issues they can turn on a dime.

Was cold-cocked by a pimp as a 20 year-old returning from overseas. I have had a concealed permit and have been carrying for over 40 years since then. I will never see a provider without a rubber and a gun. You may do as you please.

I normally don't carry a pistol to a meet.

When I'm in my hometown, I know the providers. Or my friends have recommended them to me.

I do my research to avoid any surprises.

The exception is if I'm traveling out of town.

In my all visits, I've had the talk of weapons three times.

1. In Germany, a Romanian working girl saw the clip of my knife in my front pocket.

2. In German brothel, I dropped a flashlight. The Russian working girl was concerned and asked what was that. I turned the flashlight on, and she breathed a sigh of relief.

3. In Florida, I was seeing a girl and her husband was her handler. He was an ex-military guy, and he asked me about guns.

He said to his wife, I know Blackbird likes guns.

I said, I do like guns, but I didn't bring one with me.

His wife also was pleased that I didn't have one.

If you're going to bring one to a meet, just use common sense.

These girls are dangerous and unpredictable.

They hang out with dangerous people in dangerous places. If you choose to go not carrying you have put your personal safety in someone's else's hands.

Just a quick q though. In Europe in general and in Germany on particular, carry a gun is prohibited right? But again, I may be wrong.

This is an easy one!!

Always carry but have it concealed. No one needs to know you are packing! Just take the proper precautions and if you decided to go to her place just do a quick recon but always have the heater close by for any unexpected surprises!!

Just take the proper precautions and if you decided to go to her place just do a quick recon but always have the heater close by for any unexpected surprises!!Back in the 1990's I got jumped in Maryland after seeing a provider. I knew her and she never gave me any impression of danger. She had a friend that was trying to convince her to take him on as a pimp. She refused, so he beat up a bunch of her regulars and made life miserable for her to the point where she moved away. After that night, I've carried every since.

Just know that guns do freak out some providers. They are worried about getting robbed too. I know several ladies that have been robbed over the years. Also, if you're ever busted, some states add enhancements to charges if you were in possession of a firearm. But, life is short and I'd rather be caught with a gun than without one. Especially given the times were in.

I just found this thread, so I will add my two cents. First, I am not a lawyer and do hold a valid conceal carry permit issued in the state of Florida.

It is easy and legal in Florida to carry a concealed firearm.

Having one within reach while driving a car one must cover it up with anything so that you cannot see it.

Outside the car, a pocket holster and a small caliber (.380 ACP) pistol do not weigh too much and are not so bulgy in a pant pocket to give someone the idea that one is carrying a firearm. That, too, is legal in Florida.

An ankle biter holster is also an option, but I consider this as suitable for a back-up weapon because it is not as quick to access and draw as the previous two methods described.

All my firearms are in condition one at all times.

I practice at a range occasionally to increase the odds that the first shot will count.

I do NOT go into hotel rooms that I did not myself book. I do NOT stop somewhere visible to the public to have sex.

The 'add-on' charges that could ensue if someone is arrested for something AND carrying a firearm can cost thousands of dollars in legal defense, even if you are on the right side of the law. I just find it inadvisable to take the unnecessary risk.

Easy to conceal and nobody would know it's there. Reason why? Untraceable. I'd came to the point where I had to knife a fuck in the dick I could claim the weapon was in the room and I grabbed it in self defense. No way to prove it was mine.

A dcom (Democrat communist) states attny could come after you got defending yourself in an unlawful activity since would be easier to trace the firearm although still difficult in a free state.
