So I've been thinking more and more about this lately as a lot of girls have been raising their rates over the last year.

Just for example's sake. Let's say an independent provider charges 400/ hr, and sees, on average, 6 guys a week. She'd be making $124,800 a year for 312 hours of work. That's a fuck ton, and realistically, she'd probably be making more, since some guys are booking for multiple hours. Let's say she spends 12 k a year on hotels, and 6 k a year on advertisements. She'd still be coming out to $106 k a year. Tax free.

Why do we allow this? In any other business where a service is offered, most people would stop going if the prices were jacked up, no matter how good they thought the service was.

The only reason why prices keep going up is because a lot of guys keep paying it. If most of us collectively decided to avoid some of the more expensive girls, their prices would undoubtedly go down. That same girl charging 400 could / would go down to, let's say 300 an hour, and still make 93 k a year. And if we thought that was too much, we could drive that down even further to 250 or even 200 an hour, and she'd STILL be making a great living without increasing her volume. At 200/ hr and seeing 6 guys a week, she'd still be making over 60 k a year.

I know a lot guys out there in this hobby are wealthy, so they couldn't give two shits. Hell, they'd drop 1 k an hour and not even feel it. But the majority of us aren't in that category, and we can make a dent if we started to avoid some of the higher priced girls.

What are you thoughts on this?

So what you suggest would in essence be people boycotting something they already boycott.

In a purely Adam Smith model of the economics of what a provider gets, you are correct. But local enforcement makes all the difference.

If you look at the reports from places like southern California (which has a pretty high cost of living), the prices I've paid are pretty reasonable. And while I've never been there, I've read on this forum that Philadelphia is loaded with FS AMPs, and the prices for FS reflect a competitive market. Both of these areas are pretty tolerant of the girls.

2 years ago I visited Arizona for vacation. Phoenix prices were ridiculous, and the service from the girls was somewhere between rude and outright bad. I would never, ever go back their for a monger's vacation. But the enforcement in that town and surrounding it are pretty strict. I'm sure if you took a ton of money and visited all the big cities across the country, you'd see much of the same.

4 years ago I was in Frankfurt, Germany for 2 weeks of business, and I could not believe the prices at both AMPs, EMPs and independents. Not all the AMPs and EMPs would offer FS, but what you would get, L1 and L2 from beautiful young women made it a mongers paradise. And what I saw on Craigs List for escorts? Prices like 140 euros for model quality eastern European women. Germany has no laws against our hobby.

My point is this. Where there are no laws or little enforcement, providers tent to show up and that keeps the competition high and the prices reasonable. In places were the enforcement is high the providers dry up, and those that stick around are cautious and expensive.

What are you thoughts on this?Since NG came in I have not paid more than $250. There is just no reason to go over that since these girls meet all my needs.

We do control the rates by playing with girls in the price range that's within our affordability. 300 a session is a bit more than I want to spend. I stay at the 200 and below price range.

As far as girls making the kind of money in the first posting sounds great on paper. The girls I've seen do this to supplement their income along with their legit 9 to 5 job. Currently I know of one girl escorting as her only means of income. To make a great living escorting seems unrealistic.

(EMPs, on Seeking arrangement, etc).

I have since almost given up on the Chicagoland area, because it is full of guys who do some fairly desperate things for attention. (like the girl on SA who was completely down to do whatever, until some idiot paid her $250 bucks to simply talk on the phone).

Lots of grown men who never grew up really, is what I surmise is the problem, not necessarily the girls. If they had a choice between 150 or 300, they would take 300 anytime. Some are over paying and it is changing the market, IMO. It isn't really that people are boycotting, it is the norm now that things are inflated, due to what I stated, and lack of good quality supply, especially on the hot Euro side.

What are you thoughts on this?Six guys a week is a very low volume provider and at 400 they usually offer quality and personal touch. I try to stay in the 300 range but I'm not very active in the hobby so I'd rather pay 400 for a hot low volume provider with a good in call, open menu, nice attitude etc rather than 2 "wham bam thank you mam" providers but to each their own.

If a girl you've been seeing for a while starts raising her price, then it's probably time to find another girl at the price you're use to paying. There are plenty of girls in whatever price range you feel comfortable in paying.

I agree we need too start avoiding them or maybe we should try a different strategy.

The idea is a universal limit too an amount that men should go by in general. And anything more is a hard no.

That way it will be more reasonable with a set limit. I say no more than 500 I would say 100 but 300 is real reasonable. For now. 19 years later. 190 might be it though. Or less.
