Hi,
Don't forget Mexico in the Central America section!!!

Actually, I think Mexico considers itself part of North America. Anyway, I will soon be adding an entire section here for Mexico just like in the Old Forum.

Thanks,

Jackson

Bravo, Jackson, and thanks for all the hard work here. I look forward to a board where there's a minimum of trolls leaving messages simply because they're anonymous.

I've run boards before and know how much work can be involved, particularly in one as active as this one, so this is just a small and overdue note of praise and thanks.

Jackson,
You do a great job on this board. Thanks for taking the extra initiative and cleaning it up so we can all have a clean, troll free area for our posts.
Thanks also for backing me with the V.V. crap going down.
peace out.....

Hi Jackson,

Regarding your Californis listings....

1. You should list the San Fernando VALLEY instead of just San Fernando. Your reads are horny and get confused easily.

2. Why don't you have a listing for SANTA MONICA? There are lots of good AMPs there and people are probably looking for them.

There is my two cents. Good Job!!!

where is Europe? New format at least now is confusing. You cut off continuity gor unknown reasons.

The Europe section is still active in the Old Forum, where it will remain active until I add it to the New Forum, at which point the discussions will simply move to the New Forum and the Old Forum will be change to a read-only archive.

Thanks,

Jackson

Jackson,
To quote someone whose name I cannot recall at this time: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Why did you do this? Count me as a dissatisfied FORMER user.

Hi,

I changed to a new discussion board program for about a dozen reasons, all related to being able to keep control of the increasing amount of spam on the site. These include:

1. A pre-registration/password system to make people at least a little bit accountable for their postings.
2. A flood control function, so people can't just decide to post a 100 page manuscript at will.
3. A repetive message function, so people can't just indiscriminately post the same message in 50 places just to get attention.
4. An IP/email banning function, so I can ban troublemakers from the site.

The list goes on, but you get the idea. Now, it's possible that the new software is a bit slower that the old forum, but that will change as all the discussions are moved to the new forum and the server CPU doesn't have to serve both programs simultaniously.

Thanks,

Jackson

Excellent Jackson, excellent!

Folks in Mass were about to revolt OUT of WSG until this welcome change.

Not as easy as the old...but oh well...its more up-to-date.

BIG Thank you for staying away from the glitz and such, BTW.

****IMPORTANT: ******
PLEASE LEAVE AN ABILITY TO GET INTO ARCHIVES OF THE OLD STUFF. There is a lot of wealth there...losing it would be a fat worse than death, IMO. Please consider leaving read only access to the OLD forums and call it "ARCHIVE" or something.

Also...do you need MODERATORS for local forums and such?

Thank you!

Thanks, and rest assured that the old forum will remain as a read-only archive.

It is the same software use by Sammyboy, but different as you seem to be missing some features.

Goto forum.sammyboy.com to have a look.

Good job BTW, you will have more control with the postings.

Sanuk ... don't forget about the Asia section.

It's the same software, but it's not missing the other features, I deliberately removed them. For example, I didn't want to show who's online or make the user's profiles and email address available to the public. However, after the forum gets up to speed, I'll probably do some surveys of the site's members about the potential features, afterwhich I may decide to reinstall one or several of them.

Thanks,

Jackson

Thank for all your dedication to the success of this site. I appreciate the effort it has taken to get it to this point. It seems to be quite an improvement. I do have a question. I suppose that I may not be familiar with the navigation as of yet but I can't find the links pics and other items that were used on the last site. Are they here and I am too blind to find them or will they be added at a later date? Thanks again!

Jackson, as I have said many times before, let me reiterate one more time, THANK YOU for making the best site on the internet possible. Anyways, today I typed .com instead of .org and nearly fainted, I thought you had converted to a pay site. Have you checked that site out? They are biting your idea and charging for it. If you don't already know they claim a trademark for the name. Just looking out for you!! Thanks again.

Thanks Jackson!

Great improvements on the site. I really like the new changes.

Have you ever thought about posting members' favorite links? There are lots of guys out there that maintain sites dedicated to the hobby.

On my computer, the forum works much faster. Thanks for the great free service. (This beats every pay service I've seen too.)

Hi Jackson,

Have to agree with everyone else - brilliant up grading the system - your hard work and dedication with admirable! Just wondering if you intend extending this facility to Europe and/or other countries?

Anyway, keep up the good works.

Edit - Jackson just read other similar questions elsewhere on the forum that have answered the above. No need to reply.

Initially, I was put off by the new forum. But, the more I think about it, I think it's fine and will serve it's intended purpose.

I've already stated my peace on several topics including the Sacramento, California and Morality of Prostitution forums. I'm going to sum up my previous posts on Sacramento, repost them, and leave well enough alone.

The biggest problem I see with the forum is that the back and forth bickering clutters it up brings it to its knees. State your peace, and then leave it be, unless you have something new to add, or this new board will become unmanageable for Jackson, and unusable to people needing to use it.

I understand the technical reasons you changed the forum, so I'm glad you made the effort. However, is there any way to get rid of the unused space on the left, where the user names appear? Thanks.

Actually I was playing with that this morning. The column width is set at 175 px, but it looks like 150 px is all that's necessary. However, changing the code produced some odd carrage line returns in the existing messages, so I reset it to the original settings and decided to experiment more at a later date.

BTW, if you have your monitor set to a 600x800 resolution, you'll find that you'll have plenty of room to view the postings.

Hello:

To fix the netscape problem.

I have found where in the web page the missing paired tag is. It is a TABLE TAG missing. I have copy the source of the guilty page and check the pairs one by one. The missing TABLE TAG is at the beginning of the page after the first commented area. I'm copying a part of the page with the error and then the corrected part.

Part with error:
</tr>
</table>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" bgcolor="#000080" width="100%" align="center"><tr><td>

Part corrected:
</tr>
</table>
</table>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" bgcolor="#000080" width="100%" align="center"><tr><td>

Since that first TABLE is not closed correctly the rest of the page does not display. Netscape does not show a page or part of a page if a paired TAGs are incomplete.

A fellow Webmaster...

PS: After further review, the missing tag </table> goes at the end. The page is made to have all the information inside a table and that first table is not closed.

Since I could not find a Europe forum I have sent this message to the editor.

A quick report from Rotterdam and Den Hague

10 May 2002
Arrived in Rotterdam and after showering reviewed listings for OQ club. I arrived after 22:00. As I was walking to the door two men got out of a taxi and walked in, I was 15 steps behind them. They were dressed in blue jeans and denim shirts. I had on a polo shirt and slacks. When I got to the door, I was told the weekends are for “Regulars Only!” This can mean only one of two things. Either they have changed their policy or they did not like the shade of my melanin enhanced skin. Needless to say to run into prejudice in Holland of all places was a bit strange. The Lido night club is across the street but I did not go in. I was too shocked to even consider it.

11 May 2002
Arrived in Den Hague after 13:00. The club / house listed at Bezuidenhoutseweg 383 is there as advertised. The women were not of my taste though. The youngest one appeared to be in her mid to late 30’s and the other 5 got progressively older to about 45 to 50 years old. I have nothing against older women, I believe you will get a better time with an older woman than a younger one because they are more learned as well as in their sexual prime. I do have a problem when they out weigh me. I am 1,85m and 90 kilos the women were all shorter than I and my guess is they started at 100 kilos. NO THNAK YOU!
Poeldijkse Straat and Doublet Straat were the same as Bezuidenhoutseweg, older heavier women.
Geleen Straat had by far the best looking women in Den Hague this day / time.

I realize this is but a snap shot in time. Your experience and taste may vary. For me, I’ll stick with Amsterdam or Frankfurt aM.

Astonishing amount of work, Jackson, and many thanks. It was amazing to be on the old board last night and watch the board change as I was reading through things, having sections change to archives as I went from one to the other.

I trust the pay-off will not only be less work for you in the long run but a higher level of exchange. Bravo!

This is a true 21st century service to humanity, if I may be forgiven for sounding absurdly pompous. But I mean... this is great! Thank you Jackson... whoever you are? (A hint? Any kind of bio would be fascinating reading.) This gives me an idea: a section where people can post reviews and quotes from their favorite mongering books. Not porn, just books about getting women, like Cassanova's autobiography, or Sidney Frank's.

I also hope some people post in the Travel Plans section.

I like this board, but I think you could use the default style of majority of discussion board found at Internet where the users can freely create new topics and an entire forum for each city. Some cites have hundreds of options and I think will be easier to find information and more enjoyable to read the forum if users could create topics about specific places in a city.

I appreciate your request. Unfortunately, this software program does not have the capacity to allow me to turn on the capability for members to start threads in one section, but turn it off in others. I had to make a choice, and I can tell you from past experience with a forum of this nature, if I let posters start their own threads, the nuts will go crazy adding threads on all kinds of off-topic BS. Like I said, if I could turn this function on in specific sections of the forum, I would, but otherwise I had to make a decision that leaned toward having some structure. Please remember, this forum is really intended to serve as a data base for performing research on a specific country and city before traveling to said location. Having an unstructured forum as you suggest would not serve that goal, although it would serve to let people rant and rave.

If you have a suggestion for a specific new topic, please let me know. I add new topics that are suggested to me by members all the time.

Jackson

Great work, Jackson! I seem to have figured out most things by now, but one thing I wonder about -- is the "Icon legend" function working properly? I go to an area where there has been a new post in recent days, and the little box with a tick is still grey rather than yellow. Same goes for grey contra yellow envelopes. Or have I misunderstood? What is supposed to trigger the key to yellow?

Miller2k
05-29-02, 02:23
...This is no knock against you, Jackson, but I sure miss the days when people used to post on this board. Everytime I log on, there's nothing new. Not to be rude, but it's kinda pointless to keep coming to the new forum when no info is ever posted. The old forum had about 75% garbage posts, but at least it had 25% good ones. I like expressing my opinion and sharing info, but is anyone even here?

...You do a great job Jackson, but a month or so into the New Forum, I'm longing for the good ol' days.

Hi Miller2K

I cannot understand what you mean by few postings.

I just logged in, and my previous log-in was about 24 hours ago. In that 24 hours, there has been posted 95 new messages on the board.

Me - I am happy that the hobbyists have to log in to post, hopefully to see only relevant posts from now on.

Hey Jimmy...I only post when I have something new and/or informative to say. Seeing my name in print 80 times doesn't make me wet my pants. I don't need the ego boost. Take a look at the Mexico section as well as the Opinion area--they are dead. Sure, I could hold a conversation with myself, but this is supposed to be an EXCHANGE of info.
I could "recon" the area a million times, but what good is the effort if I will never hear any responses or receive any other tips.

Marcon...95 posts in one day is good, but spread out over dozens and dozens of categories? What percentage of those posts are from the same area(s). I think that the whole registration system has made some of the more "shy" posters (the majority on the old board were anonymous) reluctant to post due to the fact that they, at least in some regard, will lose there anonymity. (sorry for any spelling errors, but I'm in a bit of a hurry).

Jackson did what was best for him. That's great and I could never knock him for making his life easier for a job that he doesn't get paid for. But I'm just merely stating a fact. Look at how many fewer posts there are now. The only people left are the old pros who continue to post the same info over and over again. I used to check the board twice a day, then once a day, then 3 times a week, and now maybe once every 8 days because there is never anything of interest to me. Sorry. If you love it, that's great. I'm just stating my opinion.

Hey Jimmy....Wheere the hell have you been? If you knew what the hell you were talking about you would know that I LIVE in Mexico. Or do you only read your own posts? Are you paralyzed with fear that Jackson will pull the board and you will be left without an outlet for your ego trips? I bet you go back every so often and re-read your own posts, pumping your fist in the air, and celebrating the moment you were born. Jimmy boy, since when has this been a contest? All I want is info. If you decide to one day read another person's posts, then you will know that I've been providing info in the Michoacan, Mexico section for quite awhile. Sorry I don't have the income (or personality disorder) to try every prostitute on the continent. I do what I can. I'm working here (and often doing charity work), so the time and resources available to me are limited.

It's obvious that you didn't even read my previous post because you misinterpreted me quite a few times. First, I never said that the board wasn't informative. I said that I only post when I have something new and/or informative to add. Second, I'm not married and you would know this if you ever read other posts, because this was a theme that I covered in the old forum. (although, that was hilarious how you implied that I was P-whipped. Man, you must be about 80 years old because only men raised in the 1930's think that way) Third, posting a lot doesn't make what you have to say any more interesting or informative. Hurray for you if you posted 1,000,000 times and posted pictures and went to 20 clubs...what do you want, a cookie? Fourth, I didn't imply that everyone would now know exactly who you were. I merely said that having to register has discouraged many people from posting because now there is a whole formal process. Maybe they only have two or three things to say. Maybe they fear being put on mailing lists (although, this is not the case to the best of my knowledge). Who knows, but the facts are clear that much fewer people post now.

How the hell can someone be SO wrong, SO many times in such a short post? Congrats, Jimmy.

My suggestion to you is that you begin to read posts other than yours and don't be so defensive. I think that you are paranoid that Jackson will pull down the board and you will be without a place to be heard--left all alone again, the hero of his own mind.
This will not be a flame war because you just don't interest me. Information is what interests me and that's why I want more people to post: 80 posts from one ego maniac don't help me that much. I want the real people to post.

To Jackson: This is by no means a knock on you. You can't control whether or not people log-in and post. I applaud your efforts and your work. I'm just stating my opinion to you. That's what this section is for, right?

That's all....From: The Happiest Man Alive!!!

Amigo, I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment of the new forum. The ability to post anonymously is something I shall not miss. You are certainly correct when you estimated the "old forum had about 75% garbage posts, but at least it had 25% good ones." I am happy to take the 25% and to not have to sift through all the questionable stuff. Of course anyone who wants to post anonymously can still do so if they setup a throwaway email account and register another name. It appears that few are doing this and I am glad for it.

Jimmydr

Lay off my amigo Miller2K. His posts are both entertaining and informative, not to mention accurate so far as my own knowledge of Mexico goes. If he is not posting frequently enough for you, perhaps it is because he is into quality more than quantity for now.

Webgp

Again with respect, I have to disagree. As Jackson states more eloquently than I do, the geographic organization of the board is logical and serves the need. If you want to see the results of your suggestion, you should check out dub dub dub club h o m b r e dot com where the various new topics proliferate, at least to the extent that board is used by the apparently small number of people who contribute. Personally, I find that other board to be chaotic, confusing, inefficient and generally much more difficult to keep up with and to utilize. That's just my opinion, but you might find it to your liking.

Jackson

The one feature of the old forum I do miss most is the ability to make your own email address available (for those who choose to do so) so that appropriate comments could be taken to pmail rather than on the board. Since you said you are watching that software feature for possible future use, my one vote is "yes".

Jimmy...I must admit that I'm very impressed by your unique ability to miss the point of every thing I say. Your dense thinking and dim-witted thinking process lead me to question the accuracy of your posts. But that's beside the point.

when I said, "Where have you been?" I meant with regards to this board. I couldn't care less about your frequent flyer miles. I've been posting for more than a year and you seemed oblivious to everything I've posted. I don't care about that. It would just seem that you should know something about someone you are putting down. But I guess in your own magical world, you are the only one who matters.

If you bother to check in the old forum you will see my many posts about escorts, SW's, and clubs. But maybe that's too much for you. If you've only been to TJ and Acapulco in Mexico, you're missing out. The real action is away from the tourist traps. The tourist places are for people who don't know any better.

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks. Seeing as how you mis-interpret everything, all of your girls could actually be men and you're just slow to realize that.

I'm anxious to see how you mis-interpreted this post.

Oh yeah, you're on 5 sites? Wow. You must be very pleased with yourself. Not many people can post on public bulletin boards. (by the way, that was sarcasm)

Dear Jackson,
I’m still encountering malfunctions in logging in and posting. There are two syndromes: the one, I log in, the system says it accepts and welcomes me, I submit, then the control panel pops up and tells me I’m not registered. The other, I get this business of the post not belonging to any thread, please contact webmaster.

The best thing to do is close down Explorer, re-open it, re-enter the site and begin again from scratch. Sometimes, however, I have been obliged to do this several times. I always write in Word and paste, or else I would be losing my post.

I have per-session cookies enabled but resident cookies disabled from IE’s security settings (nothing personal, general policy).

It also works in the revervse direction too.

Hey guys, try this....

go to the address that I posted last time for the archive and when you get the "File not Found" indicator, hit the "Back" button and when the screen changes, hit the "Forward" button and the archives should appear. (Keep repeating this back and forth movement after each section of the archive) This process doesn't make much sense to me either, but it has worked for me.

3. Because I like to take a lot of time off to engage in my favorite hobby.
4. Because the photos are largely important to the lurkers, who by defination never contribute anything, and thus are not important to me.

Would you guys just relax about the archives. I'm moving them to the new server, but I couldn't get it finished before my trip to Argentina, so it will have to wait until I get back. In the mean time, I wanted to shut down the old server and save myself the $125.00 per month it costs to run, especially considering that the only thing on the old server at this point was the old archives. If you were in my position, would continue to pay $125.00 a month soley to host the archives? Anyway, I've saved the files, and when I get back in mid-October, I'll finish the transfer. In the mean time, why don't you guys focus your energies on adding some new report to the current forum.

Hey Jackson hope you have a good time in Argentina however I was wondering I have info on buying women, it's one of those get a wife operations but I don't know where to put it, in the calssifieds section or is this one of those you'll be banned for abusing woman type of rules, I recall in the Hall of shame you banning sombody for advertising about selling woman or something like that, is advertising the sale of woman for marriage in the same category. I don't want to get banned so I need clarification before posting.

Hi, Jackson

Would it be possible to add a topic like “Safety and Crime” or something like that in a few boards. Particularly BA and RIO? It just seems that it takes forever to sift through all this stuff just to research getting laid?

thanks.

Hello Jackson,

It isn't that big of a deal, but I think you may be off by one hour on your GMT time. Then again, I could be wrong. I was wrong once ..........

Regards,
Peterman

That's probably because I didn't change it for daylight savings time, but in a couple of days, that will be a moot point because it will switch back.

Dude I will show you all around Peru. Sincerly your pal NIBU R...PS How come no seperate section for Chiapas and Oaxaca in Mexico??? Can you also add in Iquitos,Huaraz and Trujillo as separate sections in Peru???

I added the new sections as you suggested. Just ignore the idiot who you believe is attacking you. If he actually posts a message directly mentioning you by name in a disparaging manar, use the reporting function to let me know about the posting.

Jackson, is there some kind of security issue going on? First all of Skinless' posts disappear, and now I see Freeler is starting to go as well. Both of these are highly useful posters and I presume they're not intentionally deleting themselves out of existence.

There is no security issue, and I am not deleting Skinless's or Freeler's reports. If they are dissappearing from the forum, it can only be because they personally are removing the're own postings.

Jackson

Thanks -- I guess boys are just being boys, then. Freeler confirms he's been deleting, and I know skinless did at one point, so I guess his recent complaint is about something else...

I find this website informative and extremely helpful as a hobbyist in terms of my local situation, I do hope to become a world-travelling hobbyists one day.

While your list of countries and the information on them seems to be correct, the information on the country's stance on prositution is now four years old.

I think it would be a good idea for to update a country's status, if you will, every year based on the voluntary information on hobbyists who visit or live in the respective countries. This would save time for people just looking to go a general idea on a country's attitude toward professional women without wading through the posts on the forums.

Thanks for all the effort put into WSG.

I agree, but I don't have the spare time to do the research, compile the data in a chart format, and then maintain it on a periodic basis. You're probably talking about several dozen man-hours. Nevertheless, if anybody wants to undertake such a task, they are welcomed to do so and I would be pleased to receive such compiled data in an HTML table format that I can format and post on the site.

Pop Up Ads.

Jackson. Does WSG Forum involve Pop Up Ads? Seems like I get lots of Pop Up Ads after I got into WSG but I am not sure since I also used Yahoo. Can you advise us about your Pop Up Ads policy so that we can make a determination? Thanks.

Sounds like you have adware on your computer. There is a free program that will get rid of it:

Let me start by saying this is a great site and I raise my glass to you for having the forward thinking to let all of us come together here and share our experience.

One thing though, in the Massachusetts Section I think we need another area labeled "MetroWest". Lately there has been some talk about Framingham, Marlboro and that area. Just to break things up a little cleaner, the MetroWest section would be to cover places (east of 495, south of Rt. 2, North of 95 and West of 128). Locals know that area as the MetroWest already, so it wouldn't be any adjustment for anyone.

Thank You for taking the time to consider my suggestion.

Dear JACKSON :

i want to get something *Sparkling Clear* about your Rules
here before i begin posting on This Subject [ because i don't want to be 'Banned' ]

Neither You nor i condone Child Prostitution...
but a lot of these gals fall into a "Grey Zone"
i.e. you can't be sure they're of "Legal" Age of Consent or not...

i particularly want to discuss this Issue about the Very Weird 'Consent' Laws of FLORIDA ; and the Bahamas .....

IOW : If a girl *says* she's Legal, is that Good Enough for you ??

The favor of a Reply here would be greatly Appreciated ...

PyberZombie,

I appreciate your interest in understanding the forum's posting rules. FYI, I personally don't enjoy banning anyone from posting on the forum, and usually do so only under the most persistent and egregious circumstances.

In the forum I do not allow any poster to request, provide or comment on the subject of intentionally seeking or having sex with any person under the age of 18. The limitation applies to all sections of the forum, regardless of the local laws, customs or practices. The age of 18 established herein is admittedly arbitrary, and I personally would draw the line at 21, but I had to pick an age limit, so I ceded to the generally accepted age of majority utilized here in the USA and in many other civilized countries.

Nevertheless, regardless of the specific age definition of juveniles utilized herein, there is a BIG difference between deliberately seeking to have sex with juveniles and inadvertently having sex with a juvenile. I would assume that every member of this forum would exercise reasonable and responsible judgement in determining the age of the women with whom he engages in sex, but it's certainly to be expected that occasional mistakes will be made. The story behind such occasions may be legitimate topics for forum postings, assuming that they are intended as an advisory to the other members and not merely as bragging in disguise.

dear jackson :

thank you for clarifying your rules here.

but... i don't 'get' your problem with the age of consent laws

fer example = here in rhode island, the age of consent is 16

don't *you* remember being 16 ??

weren't you able to make informed choices by that age ??

didn't you know right from wrong at that age ??

and... many young ladies are women at that age

[ i.e. are fully developed and capable of having their own kids at that age ]

why would you frown on their right to make a living as they see fit, at that age ??

don't get me wrong = neither you nor i advocate pedophilia...

where we disagree, i guess, is *when* a 'girl' becomes a 'woman'

and i would stand by my basic libertarian philosophy by siding with the teenaged woman who says :

*** leave me alone to live my own life !!! ***

as always, the favor of a reply will be greatly appreciated

pz

pz,

obviously, you choose to ignore the distinction between consual sex between persons of approximately the same age, and commercial sex. it's one thing for a 16 year old girl to have a sexual experience with a 16 year old boy, it'a an entirely different situation for a 16 year old girl to engage in a commercial sexual encounter with an older man. i don't want to argue the point into exaustive detail, but the central principal is spelled out below.

reposted from the editorial page:

gentlemen, i've decided to voice my opinions and invite discussions on exactly why this website does not permit discussions of sex with minors under the age of 18.

first, it amazes me that i even need to state what i consider to be obvious facts, but some of the discussions in the discussion board have illustrated to me that some people just don't get it. therefor, i'm going to make these arguments for the sake of those among us who have difficulty realizing their responsibilities to the human race.

1. as men, it is our responsibility to protect women and children.

2. young girls, as the most vulnerable members of the human race, are especially deserving of our protection.

3. regardless of the specific age when a girl has passed biological puberty, young girls are not emotionally capable of handling the emotional turmoil of prostitution. if you have any teenage daughters yourself, or if you have any friends with teenage daughters, this observation is self-evident.

4. as educated, intelligent, civilized men, we are expected by our peers to operate on a higher moral plain in these matters than other cultures may tolerate. therefore, we do not participate in the exploitation of emotionally **** girls, regardless of the behavior of others.

i hope that those of you who may have been confused on this subject now have an understanding of your responsibility to protect young girls, not exploit them under the justification that others have already done so first. however, because i know that some of you will postulate the usual justifications for this immoral and reprehensible behavior, let me respond to these common arguments.

1. "hey man, lighten up. in these girl's cultures they start having sex as soon as they pass puberty, and many girls here get married very young."

first, it doesn't matter if the indigenous culture is willing to exploit these girls, as an educated, intelligent, civilized man, you are expected to refrain from this type of exploitation.

second, there is a big difference between getting married and engaging in prostitution. when a young girl gets married, she receives the emotional support of her immediate family and friends, and theoretically a supportative husband. conversely, when a young girl gets involved in prostitution, she is typically thrust into a situation where she receives no emotional support, and in fact is usually confronted with mental and physical abuse.

2. "these girls need the money to buy food and to eat. it's wrong to deny them the only method by which they can earn enough money to survive. i think i'm doing a good thing by fucking them for money."

don't kid yourself, the prostitution business isn't big enough to make an appreciable dent in the suffering of young children in these countries. the unfortunate reality is that in many of these countries, hundreds of thousands of young people are suffering from lack of basic necessities, including food. the fact that a small fraction of one percent earns money for food through prostitution isn't exactly a universal solution.

if you genuinely want to help these young girls, then give them a few bucks for food. now, i know that this advice would make a tri-f explode in anger, but you can afford it, and in fact you'll never know it's gone.

3. "you call them "girls" but many of them are battle-hardened veterans by the time they're 16. it doesn't matter if i pay them for sex, they're used to it."

let me see if i understand this argument: it's okay to victimize somebody who's been victimized before? so i guess it's okay to rob somebody who's already been robbed, and i guess it's also okay to rape a woman who was raped before? come on guys, just because a young girl is already a victim doesn't give you license to continue the abuse.

please remember, this is a website for men looking for sex with women

as always, your comments are welcomed.

thank you,

jackson

It may be a silly question, but I noticed that users are no longer allowed to change the color of the text in their posts. What happened to this feature? I guess some people were abusing it, but removing it has really screwed up some of the old posts that used multiple colors.

OK, I see. Just the coding has changed. But why change the code and screw up the old posts?

I was trying out various tactics, like turning off the ability to post messages containing HTML code, to prevent a certain asshole from posting obnoxiously large type specifically to take up screen space. It didn't stop him, but I decided that I like controlling and thus limiting the formatting capabilities.

BTW, blue lettering is reserved for me. Thanks.

FAQ #36

Direct_Deposit
11-24-02, 06:19
Jackson,

Could you please tell me the difference between a regular and senior member, and how you get from one to the other. I was just wondering.

Thanx.

I probably need to clarify this better in the FAQ.

Regular Members are members who have registered to use the Forum but have posted no or very few reports, which automatically includes all new members. Regular Members may post messages in the Forum, but their messages are temporarily held until they are reviewed by a Forum Moderator. This results in a delay of anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days.

Senior Members are members who have made substantial contributions to the Forum, either by quality or quantity. This designation is conferred by me during periodic reviews of member posting activity wherein I review the posts of the most active Regular Members and make a subjective decision as to who will be elevated to Senior Member status. Senior Members are the Forum's strongest contributors who have demonstrated by their contributions that they share my goals for the Forum. Posts by Senior Members are not held for review and thus are immediately displayed in the Forum.

The purpose of this entire hierarchy is to exercise some controls over new members with the specific intent of stopping serial spammers and reducing garbage posts.

Thanks,

Jackson

Jackson, I agree that the changes have improved this great site. I have an idea to make it even better. Could spell-checking be added? I have noticed some other webboards have it. They send the message to www.spellcheck.net so the spell-checking is outsourced, not actually built into the forum. Of course, I don't know shit about programming. Would this be difficult to do? I think we could all use help with our spelling now and agin.
