I'm headin to DC/VA for a get-together next week and was hoping to check out some of the much vaunted AMP's. But it sounds like things are at a lull right now.
Any chance Downtown, IHC, etc will be back in business soon? Baring that, any recommendations for a VA AMP or incall service?

Seems like things are slow in DC right now and I got an idea this was happening about 2 weeks ago. Tried my usual scene, IHC, and was told they were closed even midafternoon. So I drove into Mirage and still had a hard time getting in. Finally got to see Gina. Little older than I like, maybe early 30s, tattoos, round awith nice b cups. said she lived in N Va. old event and late post, sorry guys, but I'd figured it was better late then never. I was in DC last week and finished up work early and decided to check out the favorite spot, Downtown. Low and behold, there's some remoldling going on in there on the third floor, looks like a new tenant is getting ready to move in there. Wonder if it's going to be another AMP? I know, wishful thinking. Anyhow, proceeding to the top floor and it was closed. Perhaps I was early, therefore, I decided to eat lunch at the Peruvian restaurant next door trying to kill some time hoping that it would eventually open back up. After lunch, I checked again, and no dice. Wondered down the street to 1413, and they were closed as well, with a sign "closed for remoldling". Wonder what's going on down there? Any body hear of recent stings that causing these places to be so darn cautious?
Anyhow, the only other place that I could remember was the mini gym on NY Ave. Proceeded there. First time there, and found it to be in an odd set up. Sort of like a mall setting, with an AMP as one of the stores. As you go in, currious eyes do look at you from the other shops. They know what's in there!
Proceeded to enter the gym as one guy as exiting with a big smile on his face...good sign. Came in and was escorted by mamasan to the waiting room with a worn out sofa. Went through all the normal interegations...been here, saw mimi, 2 months ago, great person, had great time...OK, so I passed the test. I asked who was working, she said, who you like? Stopped by Supra (again) last Friday. Everything was green lights. There was a new Mamasan there who was much friendlier than the other one. She said it was her first day there.
I wound up with Linda again, who is a bit older than some of the girls there, but who other than having a bit of cigarette breath, was very nice.
TS was typical, but Linda was extra attentive to the various important parts. Moved back into the room where I got an abbreviated massage before settling down to business. Thanks for your long report.
Regarding your last point, the protocol for a 2-girl session seems to be that you have to pay for 2 house fees for one-hour sessions, i.e. $60 x 2, plus the usual $100 donation to each of the two girls. Occasionally you can get away with paying for only one house fee, but obviously the two tips are unavoidable.
The key here is to never pick the two girls yourself, but let the first girl decide who will be her partner-in-crime. If you were ever to choose yourself and picked two girls who hated each other or who didn't work well together, you'd be wasting your money.
There's a couple of recent posts on the Norwalk, CT and Waterbury, CT boards of WSG by guys who had two-girl sessions.
Hope to read a report from you soon of a 2-girl session. But first take your vitamins!

Good news guys,
There are signs of life in DC. After reading the Wizmeisters report on Supra, I decided to do some recon myself. First made some calls and found that Mirage and Olympic answered and confirmed they were open. This encouraged me to head out and check further.
I stopped by Mini around 2 pm and it looked dead. Rang the bell and one of the Mamasan’s came to the door and said they were not yet open. She advised that they would be open after 6 pm.
Went on to Sun Spa by the MCI Center and found them open for business. Mamasan there scolded me for not coming by for a long time. She had two girls available Cece and Cindy. Both seemed a bit older (say 30) and were not the knockouts that we got used to at Downtown but they were attractive providers. I chose Cece who had long black hair and a glint in her eye.
TS was very good with all the proper attention to the right areas front and rear. We flirted during the TS with Cece saying she was from NJ and that she would be in DC for a while. Back in the room she proceeded to give me an average massage and moved quickly to the main event. This consisted of a long AR session followed by a good (not great) CBJ. As of two days ago Downtown was closed.
However, I have been out and about a bit, and it seems to me that all this is overblown. Mirage is open, Olympic is open, Sun is open...and more to the point, we don't know why the ones that are closed, are closed.
I know some have posted that it had to do with this being an election year, but personally I am VERY skeptical of that explanation for two reasons. First, there has been absolutely ZERO publicity from the cops about this. If they were trying to toot their horn, they'd be doing so. We would have articles in the paper about how they are cracking down. We don't.
Second, the ones that have closed down recently (i.e. Downtown) are not in residential areas and it doesn't seem to me that there are any neighbors around it would would have complained.
For all we know, the ownership of the places that are closed has just decided to move on to other business. We really have no idea.
I will leave it at this: there *are* AMPs open in DC right now and things at the ones that are open are more or less normal, in my view anyway.
The reason why some are closed is they are more cautious. A new bill has been proposed to get rid of all these places in DC. If it passes it will shut down all of them. They will become like the old bars during prohibition back room establishments. They are keeping it quiet as they want to get as many as they can including owners. That is what my connection at Downtown told me. They will open next week, check Sunday, but they will re-open.
I lived in DC area for a number of years, since the 50's and I can tell you that these things are like the business cycle. I remember when there were lots of nudie bars downtown and then suddenly they all seemed to be shutdown and/or go out of business.
But the one thing you can be sure of is that the people who own these spas have their ears to the rails. They have connections and if there is a bill in the works which will make the spas illegal and ultimately drive them out of business, then the spa owners will be among the first to know. So if that is what is happening, then any owner with sense is going to try to sell out as soon as possible while they still have a chance of recovering some of their investment. I'm not sure whom they would sell to, but that's what I would guess is going on.

I am staying in the Metro Center Area until Tuesday. I took a walk to the Downtown Spa on Vermont this afternoon. After the obligatory 4th floor walk-up I was told that they were short staffed and would not have any openings until Wed. The moral is to call first. At least they are up and running. I did see a report by Laxman #2 that Sun Spa by the MCI center was open. I must have walked two miles up and down all of the side streets trying to find it. Perhaps some one could give me a hint!
Any other suggestions on some cheap action within walking distance would be appreciated. I am right by Capital City Brewing Company and the OLD Washington Convention Center.

I was going to check out other AMPs because I thought Downtown was still closed. I drove by Downtown in hope that it was open, and it was.
The mamasan seemed happier than usual. I hope this is a good sign.
After the usual fee paid to the house I was presented with a cute woman named Pinky. She looked to be about mid 20s, nice figure with real knockers (A real plus in my book). I would rate her a solid 8 in the looks department.
We proceeded to the TS and she scored about average there. Not great, but I have definitely had worse. She at least took her time, yet didn't really spend too much time on the wedding tackle.
Went back to the room where she proceeded with the massage. She used oil which I really liked and she took her time. I would rate the massage above average, perhaps a 7. She didn't walk on my back and was not as hard as I wanted.
She asked whether I wanted Everything and I apparently was too eager because my response drew some laughter. I guess it has been a while. Good news and not so good news. As of Saturday afternoon, Downtown is open again. I called before venturing out and was advised to come on down.
I got there and was greeted by the Mamasan (can’t remember her name but she remembered me. Every time I see her I think she is kind of hot.) When asked why they had closed she said that other places had had problems and that they closed as a precautionary measure “I don’t want any trouble”. Kimchi, you seem to have good intel on this, do you know anything more? Not that it matters much as things seem to be getting back to normal.
The not so good news is that they only have two providers and the one I had, Gigi, was lackluster at best. I won’t go into the details as it was not a typical Downtown experience. I would not recommend Gigi. On the way out I asked Mamasan if Mimi and Maya were coming back. She said maybe and asked me to return soon as she expected to have more girls in shortly. I will wait awhile to return to let her rebuild that all star staff.

There seems to be some confusion about the location of Sun Spa near the MCI Center. In his very comprehensive and helpful post of 1/2/04, LoveLos lists the address as 701 6th St NW 2nd Floor. I think the address is actually 528 G Street NW with the entrance on 6th immediately across from the MCI Center.
Forget the address, to get there find the Burger King at 5th and G NW. Walk the short block towards the MCI Center and turn right on 6th. About 10 yards from the corner before the construction site is a metal door with a buzzer. Ring, go in and up the stairs and you're there.
Tip: For you local AMP mongers, as I posted in the past the management offers a frequent visitor discount card. Every 10th visit the house fee is free. Four more to go!

Sun Spa is at the corner of 6th and G NW. Northeast corner to be exact. Apparently one side of the building is known as the G Street address and the other side of the building is known as 701 6th St. You want the black door, which faces 6th Street, and has nothing on it except a "701". That's the place. Ring the bell. Is that clear?

No the DC scene is not "dead" it's merely going through one of it's cycles that EVERY city or stroll goes through periodically. Relax, it'll be back.
Loop, that's why I am not a big fan of DC SW's because they are not so hot lately, but more so because of the service to dollar ratio. Flat out, it stinks. 40 - 50 for a DC BJ has always been the "norm" with FS at 100 - 150.
You can't blame these girls for trying to up the ante and apparently there are a sufficient number of dumb assholes willing to pay it so you get the shit end of the stick unfortunately.

What you have read on this board pretty well covers it. DC has a relatively attractive, but expensive, SW scene and possibly the best AMP scene on the east coast. The escort scene is very good here, but this forum needs the more coverage in this area, so your input on your date will be welcomed. The clubs are full nude but no touch and not much fun in my experience. There have been inquiries about bookstores, but there has been no solid intel there and a lot of concerns about what your dick might be getting into on the other side of that glory hole.

Loopy: Now you know what I've been talking about when it comes to the dc scene. I know what you said about b'more but it almost makes it worth the drive. The rise in cost is no ones fault but mine. Last week I got back to my favorite scene, Supra.
The place has been, as far as I can tell, untouched by the closures affecting other AMPs. In fact, for the first time ever, I had to wait in the kitchen. I got an eyeful of what the gals eat (well, you know) while waiting about 10-15 minutes. I guess the business moved to Supra over the past couple of weeks. I have seen the posts about other AMPs being open, so true to an earlier post, I will branch out for variety.
The wait was worth it. Jessica came in (see an earlier post about her) and gave me a hug and kiss. I would like to flatter myself that she remembered me, but I expect that is not the case. The place was jumping so I got a massage first while waiting for the TS. Sadly, the TS water supply broke, probably due to the high demand, and I ended up getting an extra 10 minutes worth of fun after a warm cloth treatment.

Just to report on the AMP scene. It's alive and well at Olympic. Sue Xuan(? I'm guessing on the spelling) was a lovely and lively attendant. All normal AMP services offered and accepted. Was a wonderful time.

I have always been upfront about the diametrically opposites of the DC and Bmore SW scene. They really are as different as night and day in almost every respect.
Trust me though, just as there are many real cute young things that aren't skanky and CCL in Baltimore, the DC girls are just as involved in drugs as the Bmore girls are.
The important thing is that we all live close enough to smaple both areas goods and that give us greater variety, the spice of life!
I am usually just a lurker, but I had to report on a strange incident I had at CPHC (my regular place).

Note of caution:
I came back with a bug or two from a trip to Houston a few months ago. I went to my usual doc for the test. A little uncomfortable, but not as uncomfortable as the bug I had. Got the prescription I needed and was off.
Downside: the bill for the lab test that wasn't covered by insurance came and it was for 'genital series.' The S.O. opened it, but apparently didn't notice the procedure listed on the bill.
Other downside, my health insurance company has some idea what I had. As probably all of you already know, it's probably best to go to Planned Parenthood or a clinic for testing to keep it off record. I didn't figure that out until later.
Hopefully others are smarter than I am.

I am gearing up for my DC trip in a couple of weeks and I am glad that from reading all of the reports that Supra is still up and running. Reading this board and checking out Euros and other sites I feel like a kid in a candy store coming to your fine city. In Memphis we have two AMPs that have been here for a few years and for 60 + 100 the girls complain and complain to me for more money and the only thing offered is a topless HJ. You might want to try CPHC for a slightly different change of pace in that their rooms are a bit larger and many have chairs and mirrors for the more imaginative players. If you went to Downtown due to proximity to your new offices, then CPHC is a bit of a hike away. I also like Supra. 4th floor stairclimb, so crank up your pacemaker to full roar. I hate these places with lots of stairs because I always feel like I arrive out of breath and during hot weather, sweaty as well. hard to feel particularly suave and debonair when you're puffing like a steam engine and sweating. At least Supra stairs don't smell like piss though.

Went to downtown for my second time on Cinco De Mayo around 12:45. I was worried they would be closing or would rush me out, but didn't have that problem at all.

It's official. I'm in serious lust.
Yesterday, work took me into DC. At lunchtime, I had an itch the required serious scratching (and gentle caressing). If confronted in such a situation, the proper response is to tell the officer "Sorry, officer, I am late going somewhere. I can't help you. Have a nice day." And then leave. If you are seized and prevented from departing under those circumstances, you are under arrest and must be Mirandized.
If the officer persists, don't lie. Just repeat that you are late, and that you are sorry that you cannot help him. Ask if you are under arrest, tell him that you can't help, and that if he wants to question you further, he will have to do it with a lawyer present. Above all BE POLITE!
People who lie almost inevitably end up in trouble. A policeman isn't stupid. If you give a BS lying answer like that suggested by LoveLOS, you might as well put the cuffs on yourself. Although I mostly frequent NoVa AMPs, I occasionally journey into D.C. On the NoVa board, I posted a link to an interesting site with links to the applicable Virginia state laws regarding sexual offenses and adult businesses. Here's the site where you can find the D.C. laws:

As much as I hate to seem like I am piling on, the advice re. LE pullover and lying is pretty good although it's still a lie. Taking the position of providing no information is still a lie, it's just that it's a controllable lie that's easy to keep going.
Having said that, I do think it's important to keep some semblance of a reasonable explanation as to what you are doing out at 3am in a really bad section of town where many victimless crimes take place with out of state plates on your car. I don't think that it serves you well to simply take the 5th essentially and stick to a no information policy. An extremely brief plausible explanation that explains why you are in that place at that time often does the trick without pissing off the LE. All IMHO

Quickly, let me put it in perspective for you the differences for me between a Memphis AMP and your fine city. In Memphis there are two locations which have zero turnover with the girls. Each place has two to three girls, so in the whole town there are about 6 girls total and I would rate them all between a 4 and a 6. A police officer has the right to stop a person whom he suspects has or is about to commit a crime. He may ask of him his name, address, DOB, and purpose of business. He may also frisk him during this questioning for the officers own safety.
If in a vehicle the officer may check the immediate area inside the vehicle the the person had access to. Again for the officers safety.
At no time is the person under arrest. This is only an investigative stop. If through the interview process information is gained that a crime has occured or is going to occur then the person can be arrested. Miranda only applies when the person is in custody and being questioned.
No cop in his right mind is going to stop people for no reason. It isn't smart, it isn't safe, and it's against the law. If you get stopped, odds are you've done something that has aroused his interest enough to go to the trouble of stopping you.

Good advise but a fact of life if you lawyer up you better have a lawyer available. Cops don't like lawyers and threatening to call one isn't going to deter them. If you do get taken into custody you can make a phone call within 24 hrs. That is 24 hrs at their convience. If you get grabbed at 3am you could be allowed to make your call 11 hrs and 59 minutes later. Good luck getting a lawyer at that hour.

Based on your facts, yes, it sounds like that a crafty prosecutor could muster up enough of a factual basis to bring a prostitution charge, in either D.C. or Virginia. And short of that, since this is a commercial enterprise, some kinds of charges related to running an unlicensed business, operation of a bawdy house, or the ever-popular "disorderly conduct."
But stepping back, such a plan is feasible, you've already identified the most important point, and that is keeping a sufficiently low profile that you don't attract unwanted LE attention. Take care of that, and the rest of the situation shouldn't present a problem.

Young's Spa in Georgetown, 2352 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, DC on the northern fringe of Georgetown and about 5-6 blocks down the hill from the National Cathedral - and nowhere near a Metro.
If you read back to my post of October 20, 2003 (about 65 pages behind this post!), you'll see that I had a rare, fantastic GFE experience with a young lady named Jay at Young's Spa. Unfortunately Jay left that spa a few weeks later, so I never had the pleasure of being with her again.
Stopped by Young's just over a week ago, and had a totally opposite situation, proving that having a good experience at any AMP definitely depends on the girl, and that YMMV is always the operative phrase. My experience was also confirmation of the rule of thumb that the better their English, the more likely an AMP girl will provide lousy service.

Things went as normal at any AMP, gave the $60 house fee and immediately stripped down. The table shower was ok but uninspired. Back in the room I learned that it was only her second day on the job, that she had been a hairdresser in Northern Virginia, and that she didn't know how long she'd be working at Young's. She spoke excellent English and had been in the U.S. for 15 to 20 years. All of these turned out to be warning signs.

If I ever intended to go to Young's again, I might have gone to the mamasan to complain about Pepsi's uninspired performance, but I didn't bother since I'm only in DC once in a while and next time I'll just go to Downtown, Supra or CPHC instead.
One other thing - as I walked down the hallway, a girl in her early 20s, straight black hair and gorgeous, was walking with a male customer to one of the rooms. If that guy was a WSGer, sorry if I scared you. The younger girl sounded as if she spoke only a few words of English - who knows, if she had answered the door instead of Pepsi, I might have had a totally different experience.

Don't just take bad service, report it to the mgmt.
I've noticed that a few of these girls at AMPs chronically provide lacksadaisical and/or uninspired service, and sometimes they're just downright nasty.
Unfortunately customers rarely do anything about it and they prey on this.
Here are some tips that I use to stand up for myself as a consumer:
1. Don't let the mamasan shove any girl on you that either doesn't have a slutty smile or isn't to your physical liking. If they give you this "only girl available" bullspit, just leave. Always be prepared to have several AMPs lined up for your afternoon/evening of debauchery.
2. If things aren't starting off well, they probably won't finish well, e.g. her bossing you to lie down, turn over, no DATY, acting like she's doing you a favor, etc. Ask for a different girl, if they're all "busy", ask to wait, if she won't let you wait, simply state exactly what you're here for down to the most minute detail, e.g. "I want to cornhole you with a rabbit skin on, then take it off and splooge all over your bearded clam (unintercepted by hand or towel), then I want to take your hand in mine and wipe it all in."
I've even had a b!tch tell me that "100 isn't that much money", bullspit, they'll practically eat sh!t for $100, it's a matter of being a hard negotiator who's prepared to leave.
3. If you leave before any acts are committed, say you've changed your mind and ask for the house fee back. Usually they'll retrieve it to you and send you off with a dirty look.
If the "manager" comes to ask questions, just tell them what you found to be unsatisfactory, i.e. "bad service" and that they claimed not other girls were available and that you'd like to come back when someone else IS available. The talk/reasoning means nothing but they will hand over that cash as soon as they realize you're not going anywhere.
4. Even after you've paid you can still get both the tip and the house fee back. For example, you lay down your 5 Jacksons, she starts ordering you around, lubing up, saying that "suckee" is extra, or she may even be on the rag. Simply say "wait a second, you didn't tell me about ..." ... "all the other times I've been here, blah blah blah". Again, once they realize you're not leaving, they'll refund your cash.
5. You paid, you f**ked, but it sucked. Say to the girl, your attitude was piss poor, this whole thing was more of a negotiation than an actual f**k, listen I don't want to raise a big stink, just give me twenty bucks back, I'll leave and we'll call it even. This is the hardest to do but they don't want you going to the manager. Usually they'll give up the 20 but be prepared to state your case to the mgr about the bad service received and say you're willing to settle for a 20 back, no hard feelings.
100 to me is a lot of money, I never pay 60 only 40 because 20 is a lot of money too. Now most people may read this and be so financially fortunate that they can afford to blow 160 on a bad experience and move on without even blinking.
So why demand satisfaction? Because these managers need to know who's a good worker and who's a sh!tty worker. If we all stand up to these crap workers, it'll automatically QA the workers and they'll have to start shaping up or finding another line of work
