Hmm, I think my philosophy is a little different from most here. I think Karma was in the green when he paid that girl 40 beans.
Karma said, "I mean its her job to get you excited and horny so you can finish. But her technique was horrible. she based everything on her looks. I mean she is pretty but she needs to do work too."
If she doesn't do the work, how does she deserve to be paid the full price. These girls are suppose to provide high-end service and to think that looking nice is good enough is only going to get partial payment. If the deeds they have to perform are "distasteful to them" as Lex put it, it shouldn't show up in their work because they have decided to perform them for their means of income.
Chalk it up to experience? Sure, but I'm not going to penalize myself because of some girl not wanting to fulfill her end of the deal. If she wants to just lay there like a bump on a log, then she will be compensated like such. Its more for her to learn the lesson, not me. Hopefully, she'll will get the hint and work harder at HER chosen path.
Also I seriously doubt that the AMP is going to call the police if they aren't payed what they think they should have been. What would they say to cops? In order for them to get their money they would have to file a claim with the courts and we know they aren't going to do that. They are most likely just going to 'write-off' the loss and try to prevent it from happening again. Which may mean the girl getting canned or reprimanded. Or it could mean they get their money up front from then on.
But, I will admit that you may be setting yourself up for trouble if you continue to do that. I'm not sure what kind of protection AMPs have. I would think its very minimal as I have never heard of weapons being found at these places when cops raid them. Just boatloads of lotion and condoms. :eek: Plus they don't search you very hard when you come in, so you theoratically could have more 'protection' then they would. But, you never know and I'd hate to find myself on the wrong end of .44. (lol, that would kinda be a funny sight, a lil' ol' mamasan holding a gun over a naked john, screaming, "you'd better give me my money or I'll blast ya!") Plus since these girls usually end up working at different establishments, you may find yourself getting refused any service if you are recognized elsewhere.
In the end, its probably safer to follow Lex and LoveLOS's sound advice and get a good relationship with the mamasan. I've heard of some very nice outcomes when a bloke was provided with shoddy service and reported it to a familar and friendly mamasan and got steller service right then and there.

I have been at the Sun Spa at 1829 M Street on at least three occasions over the last two years, and have posted two favorable reports about this AMP here on WSG (good FS every time for the usual $60 door fee and $100 tip). The key piece of information needed here is that the Sun Spa is on the 3rd Floor of 1829 M Street, not the 2nd Floor, which is occupied by ICM Concepts, a non-AMP and an overpriced HJ-only place.
Finally, the Sun Spa at 1829 M Street may have recently changed its name, but the AMP service is apparently still the same. 1829 M Street is located a couple of blocks from the Farragut North Metro stop (Red line).
Just went for a morning walk looking for Sun Club on 7th & G accross from MCI, lots of construction, and no signs other than the bank. Did I miss something?
I'd like to reply to some of the feedback which was generated by the feedback which I provided to Karma.
First of all Karma, I would not lose too much sleep over it. You did it and it's over and the important thing is to live and learn and the key to living well is to have the correct attitude. You only develop that by making mistakes. It's somewhat unfortunate but nonetheless true that they don't teach "Mongering 101" in college or anything at the secondary school level. So it's up to us to educate ourselves as a community.
With respect to Sgt Sad's comments: Don't kid yourself. They do search your clothes if/when you go for a shower. You can bet your ass the mamasan or one of the working girls comes into the room and goes through your clothes to see what's in there. That's how they know, for instance if you are LE and wearing a wire. If you thought they determined this by your looks, you were wrong. If, for some strange reason, you were packing a gun, you can once again bet your ass they would call the cops. And we all know the penalty for packing heat in the District.
Now I agree that they are unlikely to call the cops if you stiff one of the girls at an AMP, but still I think this is a bad habit to get into. For instance if you get into this habit and stiff a SW down on the block, you won't just be refused service next time you show up. You'll be given a cranial massage at the very least. And at the worst, you may lose your life.
As to who's responsible for what, you just can't hold the girl responsible every time you can't come. A lot of things can cause that which are beyond the control of the provider or (certainly) the establishment. For example, certain drugs (medically prescribed or otherwise) can cause problems. Alchohol can cause problems, certain medical conditions such as diabetes, benign prostate hyperplasia, etc. I'm certainly not implying that in Karma's case it was anything other than lack of stimulation. But the point is that there are too many factors which are beyond the control of the provider to hold her responsible. Karma said himself that they went 15 minutes over the session. So that indicates at least some effort on the part of the provider to provide satisfaction. The efforts may have been ineffectual, but they were efforts nonetheless.
I once had an experience in a SPA in Augusta, GA where I was just unable to achieve success. The provider began to rush me and I told her that I did not find her technique stimulating enough. She kept trying different things and I told her that it might help if I could DATY. She said she could not because she was at that time of her cycle. But she went and got another provider who allowed that and I achieved success. At the end, the first provider asked if I was going to provide some small tip for the second provider. Even though I had not asked for the second, I think I gave her 20 bucks in order to try to be reasonable.
I agree with Sgt. Sad that these girls chose their profession but that does not make it any more enjoyable for them. I think we need to be reasonable and kind when we deal with these girls. Notice I did not say overly generous. Just be polite and considerate and treat the girls like humans and you will enjoy the experience much more.

Quick request about (gasp!) non-FS tipping at DC AMPs--
I went a few times to an AMP in Bethesda before they started offering FS rather indiscriminately (and were soon busted). This was a few years ago, before Duncan & crew went on their anti-AMP rampage. As I recall, the usual tip was two Jacksons for HJ, and up.
I recall some discussions about how DC AMP providers won't even offer HJ--since they can get $100 for that same hour offering more. However, if I'm not interested in FS, can I signal that by just laying two jacksons on the table? Or will that just get me shoo'ed out the door for being cheap?
Obviously, this is all highly hypothetical and unrealistic, so please answer accordingly. Thanks.

Good Evenings Fellas..... just wanted to drop thru real quick and let you know that i have found 2 very remote spots in d.c. that offer everything for $30.00. I know you saying " He's full of shit" but i'm not... couple of my buddies went and turned me on to the info this week. the spots are hispanic ladies and some blk.... very nice looking from what i have been told and the service is out standing.... will post more info in a few days after i ck. out first hand... but you will aft to back channel me for address..... cause these are several spots we do not want to get closed down....

Don't be mistaken, LOS. I have been guilty of giving SWs 40 bucks on occasion! heh heh. But the Raleigh is still a very good place for a solid Jackson funded fuck (the bill, not the admin:)). DC is a little far but I may make it up there to take in some of those tourists sights in detail and if ya'll have me, I'll take a look around the hot-spots.

Perhaps things are done a little different down here in the South since most (not all tho) of the times my clothes remained in my sight. At the very least, the door to the room where my clothes were at remained in view of my peepers. So unless they had a trick door or was crawling through a window, my clothes weren't searched. In fact, I have wondered many times that they are vulnerable to peeps that might bring in something.

Very true, and if it was one of those factors where it was beyond the providers control, the mongor should pay regardless of cumming. If Karma had said he was normally longwinded or had some kind of condition where he couldn't spew the spunk, I wouldn't have said it was the girls fault. But he did not so I assumed that under normal AMP services he would have no problems finishing up.

From my experiences, going over the allotted time happens often. Lying there for an additional 15 minutes doesn't imply effort was exerted. Karma said she relied on her looks and did nothing else to get him off. For me personally, good looks can stiffen up the ol' shaft but it ain't going to shoot if she just lays there. So from what I read of the comments, it was the girl's not putting any effort into her job which caused the problem.

With that said, I think we are going to the same place on the map, just taking different roads. I would feel justified in not giving her all the cash but probably still would just to keep good relations open and especially if I planned to come back.

heh heh, well its only happened twice in recent history. And to tell you the truth, I'm not entirely convinced I was overpaying. Had a very nice time in both cases. Plus I know I have recieved a lot more than my fair share of 'good deals.' I'm sure the Trashman would be proud! Now theres one fellow I can see eye to eye with though he may find I'm a little extreme at times.

I have had piss poor luck lately (see Nova report). Only thing remotley of interest to report occurred around 1am Saturday morning near the 7-11 at 21st and Rhode Island.

The story was about Prince William County in Virginia. Seems that local politicos want all adult video stores and other 'sex industry' businesses to install video cameras at their entrances, and LE would be able to request and review all those tapes at any time (without a warrant?). As I posted before I came into Dc this weekend from Richmond va to cover a concert at FedEx field. Before I left I posted to ask for some directions to some action. I received a good bit of info, (thanks again guys), and I made sure to get all of the directions straight and all of my monger etiquitte down.
Just a tip to anyone who has not had the expirience as of yet. Knowing EXACTLY where you are going, and what steps you need to take to get good service, is a BIG problem solver, as you will see later.
As this trip was business related, the group of co-workers I was with was allowed to rent 2 cars between the 5 of us. I was fortunate in that I had an easy job that didn't require a great deal of time invovement. I fuguresd that I could visit Downtown and 1818, one on a friday evening, the other on a sat afternon. The only problem was that I had a "tag along". I have a habit of always finding a good time ,(bars clubs and so on),when we travel, and this (fairly cool), guy decided he wanted to be a part of it. Long story short, after some halfhearted attempts to get rid of him before I left I simply told him I was ging to get a massage. Because my buddy knows me well enough, he decided the whole deal was a jack shack and that he was in.
Since he was cool enough I told him the "rules" of the massage parlours, and drove from 50 into NY ave. (thanks again for the info), and did the 1818 thing. You know, there are pluses and minuses to being in that position. You can indulge the fantasy that you're tapping some reasonably untilled soil, to mix a metaphor or two. The providers do not give massages any more, rather it is muscular stretch training. Very healthy I think. Sorry guys I was scared straight last night in DC. After a 2:00 p/u and sucessful drop off at the East Rt. 50 Texaco on NY ave, the Pimps or at least guys in a Avalanche looking to roll a customer followed me out! They told me the story she left something . I smelled this right away and looked real quick as we were going 50 mph, and said no way I checked. One of the guys said just pull over. Yeah right! Kept driving, they were flashing the high beams and pulled up one more time and asked again to pull over. I just kept at 60mph and stayed the course, and they followed for a few more miles and turned off. I know that is not the place to pick up. Never the less, it let me know that this stuff can happen and I am calling it quits. But I'll still read about your adventures.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I thought I'd add a few lines about my experiences the last couple of weeks. Just in DC for the summer. I wish they had these places in Chicago.

Only one of the more than 500 men who have taken the District's 2-year-old anti-prostitution course has been arrested again for solicitation.
"I think it's certainly fair to say [the program is] a resounding success," said Anthony Asuncion, chief of the misdemeanor section of the U.S. Attorney's Office. "The only big change that has happened in the last two years is we have become very successful."
The U.S. Attorney's Office and Metropolitan Police Department started the program in 2001 to dry up the customer base for prostitutes in the District. They point to the lack of repeat offenders as proof that their joint effort is working.
In a city sometimes noted for crime and mismanagement, a group of dedicated professionals has put together a program that appears to be preventing crime.
They do it by telling sex customers that prostitution is illegal, immoral and unhealthy. But they also tell the clients to value themselves and think through their temptations.
Those convicted for the first time for soliciting streetwalkers can volunteer to take the course — known as the "John School" — and wipe the conviction off their records. Participants also must have no convictions related to violence and pay $300 each to attend the one-day session, where they learn about the perils of buying sex.
The session is offered monthly and generally fills up. Class leaders noted at a session last week that men caught in a huge mid-July sting operation in Southeast have begun to enroll.
About 40 men attended that session, which was led by Rita T. Flynn of the U.S. Attorney's Office. Mostly young to middle-age and dressed in clothing that varied from jackets and ties to muscle shirts, the men slouched on the benches of a D.C. Superior Court room. It was 3 p.m. and they had been sitting, with occasional breaks, since 8:45 a.m. Miss Flynn clapped her hands to wake up one of them.
Then psychologist Roosevelt M. Johnson got them focused. He asked blunt questions: "How many of you almost didn't go out that night and do what you did?"
About a fourth of the men raised their hands, smiling self-consciously.
What lured them out in the first place, Mr. Johnson said, was sexual addiction.
"That's how you know it's an addiction," he told the men. "When you override your rationality and do something that is detrimental to you."

The previously yawning, fidgeting men, some wiping their brows, listened intently.
They usually do. A study by a Marymount University professor showed that the men gave Mr. Johnson the highest marks for holding their interest.
The johns left with clearer knowledge of the law and more inclination to believe that buying sex is wrong, according to a study of the program's first year by professor Michael F. Cassidy of Marymount University.
"It was a significant impact in regard to legal knowledge," Mr. Cassidy said. "People knew more when they walked out in regard to the law and prostitution."
D.C. police Detective Mark A. Gilkey also was a favorite among the men because of his casual humor. During a break, he joked with them — even though his work with the prostitution enforcement unit had led directly to their arrests.
Comments written by class participants on their surveys indicate why they believe John School has helped them.
"All parts of the program were appropriate because I found I was responsible for my own actions," one man wrote.
Another wrote, "They put a scare into me that will have more effect on my future decisions."
Still another said the school "maybe opened my eyes to what I never thought or expected from my actions."
And one wrote, simply, "I will never do it again."
The men cited Mr. Johnson, Detective Gilkey and the health department for teaching them well about the consequences of soliciting sex.
Some of the men betrayed tension in their responses to a segment of the Marymount study in which former prostitutes spoke about how johns abused them.
One former prostitute, who has been speaking at the classes since the program began, said she believes people now are more aware of the abuse that sex workers endure.
"But I don't know if the men are more aware," said the woman, who asked not to be identified.
Mr. Johnson, who has worked with the John School since the beginning, said, "I'm using cognitive therapy with them. They don't see it as a clinical approach, but the approach is very clinical."
Month after month, Herman D. Jones of the D.C. health department has come to the sessions to tell the men about sexually transmitted diseases and to administer HIV and syphilis tests to those who want them.
Mr. Jones said about 200 of the attendees have asked for the tests.
The tests have identified two cases of HIV and six cases of syphilis, the disease intervention specialist said.
"In D.C. we have a very large sex trade," Mr. Jones said. "What happens is, if we can get people tested, a lot of times people have infections they are not aware of."
John School sessions are held monthly to keep pace with the prostitution enforcement unit's rising numbers of arrests. The unit arrested 432 persons in 2001 and 968 last year.
This year, officers have made more than 800 arrests and expect 700 more, Detective Gilkey said in a previous interview.

Amazing. They seem not to realize that their statistical evidence could just as easily (and, quite probably, more accurately) be interpreted as the fact that they are teaching the johns how to not get caught.
I'm sure such schools do have a positive (from LE's point of view)impact on the guy who's just pissed off at his wife and decided to get back at her by picking up a streetwalker, and got caught doing it. But for the guys that are serious about scoring hookers but ignorant about LE's methods and practices, all such schools do is to educate the guy on how LE works and how to avoid them.
What's even more amazing is that, in this day of serious issues such as terrorism and homeland security, some jurisdictions are investing MORE of their budgets on prositiution-related enforcement and silliness such as these john schools. This just proves that such enforcement is motivated far more by political issues than public-safety ones, and that we bring this sh!t on ourselves by electing the morons we do.

Just got back from a very bizarre trip to downtown. Arrived @ approximately 10:30PM and rang the bell. Heard a guys voice on the other side of the door. I have seen a lot of chatter on IHC (1818 New York Ave.) Lately, I have been visiting there semi-regularly for the past year. It is more convenient for me that the other downtown places I make sporadic forays to (Downtown, Supra, Happiness, and CPHC). Since I go there enough that the Mamasan has had me help carry groceries up from the parking lot as I came in on at least one occasion, I though I would put my $0.02 worth in.
The first quarter of this year, they had one of the best group of provides in there that I have seen anywhere in a long time. One young woman, Dang Yee (spelled as it sounds) was the nearest thing to a GFE I have ever had in an AMP. I went back to see her four times and never got around to a massage on any of the visits. She was mot much above average in her facial looks, but the has a great body, according to my tastes at least. She had a pleasant personality and even though it fun to try and get around the language barriers (her English was so-so). During that time, there were at least three other providers that I found almost as enjoyable to spend an hour with.
However, since June, I think the service has slipped a bit. Seriously, as far as security concerns there, being a Metro commuter, I frequently go in there dressed in business attire, wallet, jewelery, even briefcase in tow, I've never been ripped off or had any reason to be concerned about it.
I normally don't see the bouncer as I am usually there earlier in the evening, but I don't see the blackmail threat any worse than the security camera filming you walking in the door. Think about it, a pissed off customer could all too easily get them shut down. I'm sure LE would be happy to offer a deal to anyone willing to retell their exploits in the big white room and they know this. So I believe any security measures there (however crude) are there for the benefit of both the patrons and providers. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Well, it still holds true that sometimes the only way you learn is by experience and it requires both good and bad experiences to learn. Was getting bored with the usual places for pussy and like any good monger am always on the hunt for new sources. As such, occaisonally I peruse the CityPaper. In the past it has produced some really great finds for me. Today, I am sorry to report it produced a total rip off for me and proves that even an experienced monger can be suckered.
I called one ad that sounded pretty good and spoke to the woman who did a pretty good job of convincing me that they were a "legit" place, serving up heaping platefuls of my favorite dish. I was very specific about what I expected within the confines of phone mongerspeak, to which she responded appropriately.
To make a long story short, naturally AFTER relieving me of the fee I discovered that it was only going to be a body rubbing session by two very lovely naked young ladies and an enthusiastic handjob combined with dirty talking. What is this bullshit? Hey Trash ...it happens to all of us at some time or another. I received advice, (from a working girl no less), that may hlep here. Besides never again using a service after you have been burned this lady reccomended two things.
1. Call the servicve and let them know what happened. There is a (slight) possibility that they do not know what is going on. I have done this before and have actually gotten some satisfaction, (discounts, fairly prompt *real* service), and at the least you can let them know that you were dissatisfied and are going to spread the word. While it is not a total hasle to them, if busness drops off they will at least have to change their name, phone and ads in the paper.
2. Do your best to do incall at *standard*hotels. This offers a bit more security for you, as these rooms are provided with a security latch. Also, since the lady usually works out of the room all day, YOU know where SHE is but not vice versa. this can leave her open, (in her own mind at least), to recrimination from god knows who. Even if you do not want to go that route, you can always call in a complaint to LE. This is of course a "last resort" move, but in the case of a hotel, taping and discovery for you are minimal.
Either way a rip of is a rip off. thanks for getting the word out and taking one for the team. Buy yourself a beer on me, and treat yourself to a sure thing. And as always take it...

I'll add a comment to Easy's item about hotel/motel considerations:
If you have any say in the girl's choice of motels, try to get one that has external rooms rather than internal, i.e. the room access door is on an outside wall accessible from the parking lot rather than an inside hallway accessible only from the lobby. There are pros and cons to this, but the kicker for me is that being forced to enter the building thru a central lobby entrance, where you are eyeballed by desk personnel and probably taped by security cameras, makes it much easier for management (not to mention LE) to notice a parade of gents to a particular floor/room.
Moreover, while a stakeout or security cameras can be well hidden, I find it much easier to scope out the environment and get a comfort level on the situation with the external setup. Once a couple of years ago I went to an appointment with a girl I'd seen a few times before, only to notice an occupied unmarked cruiser (the antenna farm was a giveaway) parked in a distant corner of the parking lot where the girl's room could be observed... I pulled to another area of the lot out of the pig's view, called the girl and told her I would be late and why, then waited about 45 minutes to give the bacon a chance to leave in case he was just taking a donut break or a nap. He never did. After I informed the girl of this, she left the motel and the cop tailed her out of town, so they were definitely watching her. (She came back an hour later, checked into a different motel across town, and saw more clients that day... but it cost her the hassle, two lost appts and the extra expense of the 2nd motel.) The point here is that, if you're alert, such stakeouts are easy to spot and avoid in an external-room environment; in most internal-room stakeouts, the snorter gets to sit in the motel office and watch the cameras in comfort while snuffling Krispy Kremes, and you have absolutely no clue he's there.

I hope the senior members of this board don't mind me stepping in on this one but I could not resist. I am not of this board but I can offer you some sound monger advice that will keep you out of trouble (LE and thug type). Understand this board is monitored by ALL. If the parking spots are divulged (some are well known and others are unknown) anyone can lurk in those locations to do whatever they want when our pants are caught down. Never, ever publicly divulge where you take your providers when you park. Paranoia is a part of the game so play smart and safe. My .02
I have developed some rules that may benefit you. Check them out:
NC HUNTER'S RULES OF THE HUNT
1. Have a spare set of car keys (just in case some wild SW tries to take your keys to immobolize or blackmail you for whatever reason).
2. Make sure you have Drivers License and vehicle registration, insurance papers in car.
3. Lights (including tag lights) and all safety gear (tires, etc.) operational and in good condition. (No need to give LE a reason to stop you)
4. Never go where SW suggests. Pick your own spot prior to picking up your SW. (places to park, hotels, motels, etc.)
5. Never talk money to SW while she is outside your car. Let her get in, ride around and let her feel you up and if you really want to be sure, have her give you a sample (a little head does the trick for me) before cash is offered.
6. LoveLOS suggests not to ride a male in your car. I go a step further and say no more than one SW at a time in your car- even two in the front seat could mean trouble.
7. Paying in advance (per LoveLOS, and I concur) should be avoided. However, when in Atlanta, the SW's all asked for their money the moment they sat in the car. They would not move unless it was in their hand. (Is the the norm for all of Atlanta you Atlanta mongers?). Go with the local custom on this one.
8. Of course no drugs, drug paraphanelia or weapons (on them) allowed in the car.
9. Prior to picking up the SW, ensure all your valuables are locked away- including your wallet. Some of these girls are talented pickpockets.
10. After picking up girl, do whatever manuevers (legal of course) you need to do to ensure you are not being followed.
11. Read the posts for the area and know what to spend and have that amount and that amount only available. Understand the dangers and the particulars of that area. Do a bit of research here on WSG.
12. If LE stops you tell the girl to never admit to illegal behavior regardless of what the cops promise. And you do the same. Get her real name and give yours. Get your story straight before the cops separate you.
13. SW's are liars and are not your girlfriends no matter how nice they may appear.
14. Realize you are a target for crackheads, robbers, murders, etc. and protect yourself accordingly.
15. If a SW won't get out of your car and is causing trouble, you will have to use your judgement. You have three options:
a. physically kick her ass out (then you have to watch your back even more whenever you are cruisin for you now have an enemy)
b. give her $5 to $20 to get rid of her (for "wasting her time")
c. drive up to the nearest LE and tell them you want this woman out of your car (you risk having her attempt to get you both arrested and you also have an enemy)
16. Always, always, keep your head on a swivel and be very, very aware of your surroundings at all times. use your peripheral vision and keep the SW's movements in sight at all times.
These are all things I learned through over 20 years of mongering. I know it seems like a lot but it all is second nature to us veteran mongers. Each monger has his own rules and these are just some of mine. In time, you will develop your own.
Mongering can and is an enjoyable but dangerous hobby but it can be made a bit safer if you adopt some safety rules. I hope mine are a guideline for you newbies. Happy hunting and be safe out there.

Hello folks. I'm relativly new to the hobby, as well as this board. I have monitored this board for about 6 months, but this is my 1st post. SO here is goes:
I havent seen any post relating to daytime SW action in DC. Since I am free to monger mostly during my lunch hour (2-3 hours). I have used the trial and error technique and I believe I have a pretyy good handle on the daytime action in DC.
First of all, the only place I can find any action is in the area of NY ave. I have never seen ANY daytime action in the K st, L st area. Most SW's out this time of day are REALLY REALLY nasty. However, some 7-10's DO come out on occasion. Most Ive found are already staying at one of the hotels on NY Ave from the night before. (Thanks to the monger who paid the bill!) Some need an early fix and will wonder out into the surrounding neighborhoods.
OK, now youve got the history, onto the mongering:
Fri, 15 AUG 03 1230-1500 hrs
Cruise from downtown DC to NY ave EAST (Heading towards Rt 50/ BW Pky). Made a right on Florida Ave. Cruise 2-3 Blocks and made a left on West Virginia Ave. Cruise down West Va. No pospects.
Make left on 16th st before Gas station. See suspected WSW on corner of W VA and 16th, smoking a cig. Lokks OK, in jeans and a t-shirt. Wont make eye contact (weird). Got to DC on Friday, but no time to post until today. Missed XS and Karma at Archibalds, sorry guys. That stiff drink and the hotties there got me the courage I needed to try an unproven AMP.... Went on to 1413 as per what I was going to do on my 8/13 post, but chickened out.
The place is between 14th and Vermont, right on K st, down the steps below a canopy with large "1413" address letters. Small sign on door - computer printout - indicated it was 1413 Spa. Place was new and clean, with pretty much standard accomodations. Did not see a sauna, but then who the hell wants to see one of them? Agree it has only been open a few weeks.

Did some scouting the other night on my way back home. As stated before the local lane on K st was sealed by MPD around 2230 under the guise of some utility work. This was great in one respect but the hairs on my neck started to tingle. By closing K st this forced all of the school gilrs on to L st. The candy store was stocked and loaded. I sat in a couple of good spots to check out the field while enjoying a nice cigar. HINT **** What MPD was doing was simple...They would pull their car into one of the parking garages I think it was on 15th St) that also lets out onto L st. The cop would stand in the doorway around the famous hooker bar looking down the street for girls getting in cars. They would then swarm the car once it passed and give the driver a load of S***. I also noticed one black caddy that was stopped talking to two undercover officers on 16th by the Hilton for a while. I believe they must use this as another undercover car to fit in with all the pimpmobiles.
Checked out the area down by NY & 6th by MPD Traffic Office. Saw two that might not have been bad (one was nice enough to flash me when I drove by) but since this area has more then its fair share of TV & CD I passed.

DC/VA/NC Hunter Cruise Report
Get this Friday I was asked by my company if I could do them a favor and visit a client in College Park, MD. They wanted me to fly out that night and get there for a briefing Saturday at 1 p.m. Needless to say I had to hide my enthuaism for I was was ready to go. I did ask if I could drive as I feigned fear of flight to have the freedom to check out all the areas along the way to. I was told I could drive and given mileage and a per diem.
I left Friday afternoon for DC and arrived in DC approx10:30 Friday night. Knowing ( I RTFF) there would be no action prior to midnight. I just cruised K, L, M, Rhode Island and New York Ave's. Just a quick thanks to all. Finding CPHC based on the directions in the forum was right on the money. I only making it to DC about 5 times a year, so I always like to try a new AMP every time. The only thing I would update is the address being 3520 Connecticut Ave and the stairs leading to the door are to the left of the Subway shop between the buildings.
As far as the visit goes, I got there about 6:30ish on Sunday evening. Mamasan did the normal greetings, and since there were only two girls working, Fawny (?) and Bobbi. I had to wait about 10 minutes. I got Fawny early 20ies, B cups at best, 8 in appearance.
Got to the room then to the shower and here is where in my limited AMP experiences it gets unique. The shower room itself has two tables separated by curtains, so you could be in there getting all soaped up in all the right places and a guy next you no more than 5 feet on the next table getting the same. Just wanted to give you mongers a few tips on what's been going on at 12-15street and K and a little advice. If a girl doesn't have a car, it's not worth losing your car to pick her up, even in times where you don't think and LE is lurking.
You can pull up on a girl, talk to her, tell her you can't put her in your car, but you will pay for a taxi or for her girl who has a car to give her a ride. You can either get a taxi far enough away that you feel safe enought to put her in your car. Or you can pay for the taxi all the way to the motel and then back.

Another good time to cruise is early in the morning before work. I was there this morning between 5 and 6 am. LEs were in full effect. Saw a monger get towed. Shame Shame. Rolled up on a newbie. Asked her if she had a car. You would have thought I cursed at her. Oh well. If it doesn't make money, it doesn't make sense so I moved on. Early am monday mornings seem to be the best time. I don't know where you heard that - 15th/16th and P is a residential neighborhood - and a highly gentrified one at that (no to mention a predominately gay neighborhood). In any event, you won't find any SW's there anymore (5 to 10 years ago, perhaps).
15th/16th and L - now that's another story. Actually, between around 11th and 16th on L is usually happening (late night). But be careful, LE works this area pretty tightly.
Being the adventurous type, I decided to try the new spa at 1413 K last Saturday. When I arrived, the door was open and about 4 fair to good looking young women were playing cards in the waiting area. I agree with the other accounts found in this forum, the place is new and clean looking. The facilities are above average. I can not remember the exact name of the provider she sent in, it was “Hee” something, maybe “HeeSoYe” (phonetic). She was from Tokyo, Japan, pretty, some tats on here back shoulders and lower abdomen. She had a nice shape with nice C-cup tits, but a bit of a pronounced bulge around the middle.
My SOP at the downtown DC spas is to put the tip on the table that all rooms deem to have and point it out to them. I have never had any problem with this approach in DC before. The shower was above average and then I had probably the best pressure massage I have ever had. After the flip she started to massage Mr. Johnson. Now, I know from other reports here and elsewhere that more service is available there. Wow, that was a surprise since you really didn't screw up. I rarely ever even point out the $$, just lay it there under my watch... They know it's there, but the watch tells them it is mine until the job is done correctly... I think if I got only a HJ, I would have just handed a small tip in the $40 - $60 range and pocketed the rest. The few times when they do want payment in advance, you also get the right to request your services in advance.
I have also stopped a girl that was working on me too fast and taken control of the festivities. After months of "research" I finally popped my AMP cherry and made a visit to the Herndon Spa last week. Had a session with Candy... petite, B-cups, a good attitude with a nice body. Your comments are appreciated. I will have to remember the “Watch” technique, it seems a good idea.
Though, I don’t use the “Lay down the tip” method everywhere. For whatever reason, I use a different procedure depending on the establishment. For example at IHC (where the provider takes you to your room and collects the house fee) I always hand her the tip separately and right after handing her the house fee. Places outside of DC I normally don’t bring out the money till after or until it is asked for.
I know that many hobbyists frown on paying up front, just for situations like what I was in. But it has worked for me for over two years with only one problem, so I think I’m still ahead of the game. It makes sure the provider knows what you want and how much, without saying so. No law is broken giving a provider a 5 Jackson tip for a good massage, right?
I do plan to try 1413 K again soon.

This report's now about a week old, but...

This report is about a number that has been in the city paper for the past few weeks. Someone else mentioned the number earlier on this board, but I couldn't find the their post so that I could credit them. The number is 202-291-0751 and it advertises massage from Spanish ladies. It took 3 or 4 tries before I was able to get an appointment. Despite the hours stated in the ad, there was one time I called during their morning hours and they said they were opening later. I called later and no answer. However, I was finally able to get in. The lady on the phone gave me the address. It's near the Georgia Ave/Petworth Metro. It was 80 for 1/2 hour and 150 /hr.
I went and rang the bell and was let into the house a lady who appeared to be the hispanic version of a mamasan. She calls in a young hispanic girl. We all went up to a room and she asked how long I was staying and I decided to go for only 30 minutes this time and I pay the hispanic mamasan. She was in her lower 20's, about 5'3-5'4. Review: Asia, 6400 Georgia Avenue
This place is in kind of a mediocre neighborhood, but it happens to be close to my office, so when the ad appeared last week I had to check it out.
Upon my initial entrance I did not have high hopes. It is in the basement of a fairly rundown office building, and the door which leads down to the basement (clearly marked "Asia") is right there in the lobby about 2 ft. from the glass doors. So the discretion factor wasn't as high as I would have liked. Then again, I am sure nobody in this area knows me, so who cares.
I got inside and the place was very clean (it better be, open less than 2 weeks according to my girl). Was met at the door by an older mamasan type who took me to a room. $60/hour or $50/half. I paid $60 and she said OK. While I was waiting a younger mamasan (too old to be a girl, maybe 40ish, and not attractive) stuck her head in and said "we're going to give you a good one". I usually frequent the AMPs in Northern Virginia since that’s where my work takes me and I’m usually happy with the level of service in NoVa. Prices are comparable. cbj is 40-50, cfs is 80-100. If the girl is hard to get to or you have to wait in line where she can be choice, I may offer 125, but that's just because 25 extra doesn't make much of a difference to me. No need to look at all 67 pages here on the DC Board - just check out the long post by Lovelos on July 23rd, which is a good summary of the various AMPs in DC. Most of these AMPs have small box ads in the Washington Post Sports section (especially on Fridays). Standard fare seems to be $60 house fee for an hour, plus a $100 tip for FS to the lovely lady.
If you do read through a few pages here, you'll see that Downtown has received very good reviews from numerous posters. There are several other good AMPs in DC as well, such as Cleveland Park. I patronized a fairly new place named Castle Spa on I St. near the Farragut West Metro stop and thought that it was on a par with Downtown.

About my only quibble would be with the author's recommendations for length of time - in my 14 years of going to AMPs, my experience is that you are always better to go for the 45-minute or 1-hour choice rather than the 30-minute choice. You usually get more services provided (some AMPs won't give you a table shower if you are only there for 30 minutes) and the session is more relaxed and less rushed - both the massage and the extras will be better. And since the price structure at almost every AMP is $40 for 30 minutes, $50 for 45 minutes and $60 for 1 hour, I feel it is worth the extra $10 or $20 for the extra time.
If you go to Downtown or Castle, don't fart around, go for the full hour. You won't regret it!

Reflections on the AMP/Escort scene in DC for newcomers:
The AMP experience has some advantages over the escort scene in DC. You don't need to give out your name or phone number or a reference; and you don't need an appointment. Just show up with some cash and you're in. You generally get fs for the standard 160 rate (60 to the house, 100 to the girl), a lower rate than escorts tend to charge. I just got back from DC. You guys have the prices up there with the insane folks. All prices were quoted at 80.00-100.00. The address for downtown spa is:
1018 Vermont Ave, 4th floor.
Pick Suzi, she is gorgeous! Diana is also nice. INteresting little side note: There is a nightclub a few doors down called Daedeus or something to that effect. Thursday night is ladies night. Lots of good looking young women. A nice prelude to the downtown spa.
