Windows crashing while using site on Chrome

I'm having problems last few days with Windows freezing up on me while navigating the site. Might be a problem with my own computer, but seems significantly worse on this site. I get a blue screen error saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart" . And "DPC Watchdog Violation. " Seems worse on Chrome than on Firefox, and seems to happen mostly when I'm on this site. Please advise, if possible.

Note: Wasn't sure whether to put this on Proposed Site Improvements or Logging in and Posting Problems.

Actually this is happening on all browsers on my computer, but not on my phone. Other sites are fine though, so something with Windows and my computer and the site.

I keep getting a blank pop up window every time I click a link.
The issue goes away once I sign in.
