I've been to Happy Health a couple of times, and have been less than impressed. I was thinking about Tokyo, but was also looking at the escort services located in Athens, and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with them.

Three men were arrested Wednesday after propositioning an undercover police officer for sex, Athens-Clarke police said.

James Loyd Rice, 38, of East Hancock Street, propositioned the officer at about 6:45 p.m. at the corner of Barber Street and Cleveland Avenue, police said.

He was charged with pandering and driving without a license.

About an hour later at the same location, 22-year-old Marcos Calderon Sanchez of Nowhere Road approached the officer but had trouble communicating due to a language barrier, police said.

He later returned with a friend, Emilio Hernandez Aguilar, 32, of Spring Court, at which time both men were arrested on pandering charges, police said, and Sanchez was cited for driving without a license.

If you have time you could try the ATL. I'm a (heavy) user of Quest and CL. Although, you occasionally see a few ads pop up for Athens, for $ you can almost always get higher quality in the A than locally. Although with gas costs these days and the body not as young as it once was, I may have to rethink the economics of those trips.

Was eating yesterday at the restaurant in Commerce above the old Best Spa. As I was leaving, I noticed a sign beside the entrance to the spa. It said something about a hearing in regards to opening a health spa there. So it looks like someone is trying to reopen there. Recently went to Chealsea's on a Saturday night at around 9:00 hoping to see coeds from the University of Georgia. I stayed about an hour and was very disappointed. I went to the Tokyo health (the only AMP in Athens) the other day. A decent looking Korean girl (with big boobs) came in picked up .4 for the house fee. Then undress and rug. This is the first time to MLK at around 11pm. I wanted to see if anything is going on. The result is nothing. The street is completely empty. I drove from MLK to north ave hoped to see some SW. Was it a bad time? or just the weather?
Bad time. Not usually very much going on at that time of night in the winter. A little more in summer, but not usually a lot more.
Drove through about 5 pm on Wed and saw 4 and a possible 5th, did not know her.
They were Tammy, Dawn, Shelly and Rayeanne.

Just my opinion but it seems to me that the pickings on MLK are better when the weather is moderate, not too cold, hot, or rainy. Not that you won't see a butterfly in bad weather every now and then.

Went to MLK today to try find something. Here was how I went. Drove down north ave and then turn left on MLK. Continue on MLK to see if anyone there. But all I saw was a woman carry big bag walking and a girl with sport wear and headset walking who seems like jogging.

It was about 5pm. Was I missing the place? I just never got a chance to meet any SW.

Thanks for the report Luke! But can you elaborate more on the "local poultry plant"?There's been a lot of cracking down from the likes of the local LE of Athens/Clarke county. "Cash Flow" from illegal activities has been real tight over the past couple of years. This had an effect on the SW ops. So in turn they had to get "legit" work at one of the two biggest employers, Univ. of Ga or the Pil g r im Pryde poultry plant. Cash is tight!
