Thought I'd start a thread about things related to better enjoyment of the hobby. It can be about things you've tried to fix your ED, supplements you take to enhance performance, toys that work well in the playroom, anything not directly about specific ladies (ladies in general is okay). Yes, this is sort of like the general forum but much more specifically about things that can make the hobby better for you or the lady you are with.

Could be some good info.

Peace.

Starting off this thread with the latest I've found with cheapest prescription V out there. This is something that keeps changing each month, so you might find info in this post obsolete by next month. I don't have ED, or if I do, it's very mild (sometimes it's called old age) but I definitely remember it being better as a teen. V has helped me feel a lot more like a teen with no side-effects that I can detect (a full dose can cause you to be a bit nasally, but I only take 1/4 the full dose and don't notice anything other than being able to stay rock hard for as long as I like and it just feels a lot better than not using the V).

So a few months ago I posted in the general forum that if you have a prescription, K-Mart and Harris Teeter were the cheapest around when you use a GoodRx card (goodrx.com or your doctor should have them handy). This isn't the case any more. KM has gone up, and HT is now the most expensive. Oddly the cheapest is now Kroger, which owns HT, but the closest one is in Irmo. Next cheapest is Costco, but if you don't have a Costco card you'll have to fork out $60 for a membership card. So when I ran out of the 10 pills I got from KM, I went to the next cheapest option after Kroger and Costco, which is Walmart. I decided to get as many as the doctor would prescribe this time around, which is 90 pills so I wouldn't have to shop around so often. 90 100 mg pills for me is 360 doses, so I have practically enough to last a year if I could afford enough ladies to see one every day LOL. But even if I only use 1/3 of them, the shelf life is several years. The more pills you order, the cheaper it gets. And 100 mg is by far the best value, even though you may have to split pills, depending on the dose you need. A 20 mg pill can cost almost as much as a 100 mg pill so investing a few dollars in a good pill splitter is well worth it. If you plan to order X number of pills, make sure you call the pharmacy first to make sure they have enough before telling your doctor to phone the order over there. One pharmacy only had 11 pills.

Go to goodrx.com and enter "sildenafil" for the drug, select 100 mg size and choose or type the number of pills you want to see the pricing. WM honored the exact price to the penny on the coupon for me (if they don't, call the GoodRx phone number on the coupon, they are very helpful), which was just under $100 for 90 100 mg pills. That means for my 1/4 tab dose, I'm paying roughly 25 cents per dose. The regular non goodrx price on the bag is a whopping $2,599 for 90 100 mg pills, or $7. 22 per 1/4 tab dose for me!

The pills I got from KM was made by TEVA, a well-known pharmaceutical company. The ones I received from WM were unmarked and no company was listed. So I called the pharmacist up and found out they are made by Greenstone, LLC. This happens to be subsidiary of Pfizer, who owns the V patent. So there shouldn't be any worries about safety and effectiveness. In fact I prefer these over the TEVA tablets because they are slightly larger, making it easier to split them.

If you can't get a prescription, your best bet is to buy them from someone you trust (a few guys sell them here). Obviously you won't be able to get them nearly as cheaply though as you will have to understandably pay the middleman / handling costs. You can also try some overseas generic manufacturers, but I personally don't trust the purity and safety of those. I have thought about trying L or C now that the patents are either expired or about to expire, but the V works so well that there isn't really any need.

If anyone finds any cheaper options, post it in this thread but I doubt anyone is going to be able to beat the goodrx / prescription combo any time soon.

You can get Sildenafil at Costco with or without a Costco card. Don't need to be a member to get any prescriptions there but it is less expensive if you have a card. The don't do GoodRX. 30 pills 100 mg (which I split also) can cost about $46 with a card, and about $54 without a card. Either way you'll need a Script. I do have to say though for me 1/2 of Sildenafil does it's job but the sinus stuffiness (then a sinus infection a few times) is tough to use sometimes. For me it gets the sinuses big time. May have to go to plan B or the Big C which does not work as quick and cost allot more. Any other suggestions out there to try?

I didn't price it for quantities below 90, so it may work in Costco's favor for smaller amounts than 90 tablets.

The first time I tried V I used a full (100 mg) dose because I didn't know any better, but then discovered the pill-splitting and found 1/4 tab still did a great job. At the full dose I did get the stuffy nose thing which is super-annoying when you are trying to bang out a long aerobic session and can't get enough O2 LOL. At 1/4 tab I don't get that, although I usually try to take take two shots of a saline spray in each nostril at the same time I take the V. But I've forgotten to do the saline spray a number of times and didn't notice any congestion so I don't think 1/4 tab is enough to cause sinus issues for me. I guess with C you can do the low dose thing daily, but I don't like the idea of having the meds in my system 24/7. V starts working in 20 minutes and in a couple hours it's mostly gone. You could also try L and see if you react differently to it, but you'd have to experiment to find the dose that gives good enhancement without side effects. Both C and L patents are supposed to have (or may already have) run out which means it's probably just a matter of time before generics are competitive with V prices.

I get sinus stuff with 1/2 pill. I'll try 1/4 next to see how it works out. Just didn't want to pay for a new toy thing and not be able to Finish The Job. No one likes a quitter or a spitter. I have had a Viagra Script for a few years now. My Dr. Always follows the prescribing guidelines of: 6 per month / 18 per 3 months (90 day supply). 90 pills on one script would be a 15 month supply.

When you received 90 pills on one script, when did it say the next refill was available on the bottle. Just curious.

Quantity prescribing guidlines are pretty standard. See attached:

Maybe I need to change Dr.

Top.I simply asked for the maximum amount I could get because the per tablet price is the cheapest when you do that. I wasn't sure if it was going to be 30,45, 60, or 90 but was pleasantly surprised that 90 was given. I think if you pick the right practitioner, this isn't that big a deal. When I choose a doctor, I always make sure it's one that is open-minded and will consider my point of view. They will actually look at pubmed or peer-reviewed articles you print out instead of dismissing you as a quack and if you have ideas based on cutting-edge scientific research for things you want tested at your physicals (such as specific lab work that is beyond the norm), they will actually listen and strongly consider it if you make a valid point. In this case the practitioner knew I had no side-effects and this med worked very well for the 10 trial pills, so they had no problem prescribing this quantity to save me money. I'd rather not give out their name, but I will give you a clue as to the type of professional that tends to do this. Not being racist, but doctors of Indian decent and NPs (who can write scripts) are generally the most open-minded. Also, younger doctors tend to be more open-minded than older ones. I've never felt any allegiance to a specific doctor and will switch in a heartbeat if they aren't open-minded and just want to follow their old ways of doing things.

The bottle says NO REFILLS. DR MUST AUTHORIZE but I won't be needing any for a very long time.

Or do any senior guys have any they would part with. Pm if you do. Thats a little sketchy but what the hell LOL.

I've used that for years. Very effective. But it had gotten expensive.

Ingredients says a bunch natural herbs. But I'm sure it have generic Sildenafil or Tadalafil because the effects. LOL.

A full capsule is too much for me.

I only use half a capsule for like a boost.

Sometimes just divide the capsule powder in three.

Alpha Male 2 Gold 5000 works also but you expensive ebay $5 per pill. Expensive but they last in your system for 5 days or so. If you use GoodRx or Sams / Costco its really cheap for the generic of V. Sam's was like $40 for 30 pills of 100 MG that you can split. So it works out to. 67 cents per half. Play safe HC.

Jeff.If there is any way you can get a script that is by far the best, cheapest and safest way to go if you use the GoodRx card (free). You'll end up with quality product made by a reputable lab. I used to use an American lab to get generic liquid Cialis for a short while but I was pretty sure it was just a dude mixing the cheap bulk powder from Alibaba in his basement, so I quickly stopped, even though it 'worked'. The web site no longer exists which should tell you something. Once I found out how much I saved using the GoodRx card it became a no-brainer to go with the real stuff with high purity for a lot less than the generics made in some lab you know nothing about.

I have watched some of Dr. Rachael Ross YouTube videos. She is entertaining, easy on the eyes and seems to know what she is taking about. She talks about what foods a man can eat instead of taking the blue pill, ect. Some of they are pineapple, blueberries, watermelon, pomegranate and kale. She has an erection smootie drink.

It was cute, she showed how to make the smoothie, then took a drink. Her left arm was at her side, when drinking it and then bend her arm at the elbow so her forearm was straight up. Nice visual.

She also mention a pelvis exercise to do.

Wondering if anyone tried some of her ideas. Think it is worth a look and try to help us guys out. I am trying it.

Be safe and have fun.

I've just had my annual physical recently and although I'm far from being low from my last script, I noticed on the GoodRx website that Walmart is selling the blue pill (actually it's white for their manufacturer) at about half the price I paid a year ago. But they aren't even the cheapest either now. Harris Teeter has (90) 100 mg tablets for less than $42, which works out to less than 12 cents a dose (25 mg when split into quarters). It's gotten so cheap that now I don't bother with quartering them and am using halves (50 mg). It's a little tough anyway to get a clean 2nd cut with my pill splitter after you cut these suckers in half; they are rather uneven so you are likely getting anywhere from 1/5 to 1/3 a tablet along with granules (which I don't waste, I take those when I accumulate enough). However it's very easy to get a nice clean half cut so that's what I'm doing now. The effect is somewhat stronger for me with 50 mg versus 25 mg, although not that noticeable. But it's just a little easier logistically to do halvsies and cost is now a non-factor.

I have not tried the HT version yet but I have some observations after picking up the script. First, the pills are dark green instead of white or blue. Also, the manufacturer is one I hadn't heard of: Ajanta. They are based in India but are approved to sell a good number of drugs in the USA by the FDA so you may want to research them a bit. If you'd rather stick with a USA manufacturer, I believe Walmart's supplier (assuming they haven't changed, it's a subsidiary of Pfizer) might be a better choice for a few dollars more (think it was about $50 per 90 100 mg tablets). It also says on the Ajanta bottle that it should be discarded after one year if not used up. I've never seen that on any other bottle of V and from what I've read, the shelf life is at least two years, and possibly many years if kept in storage at room temperature (I also drop a desiccant packet into each bottle to try to soak up any humidity). I read that it's not dangerous to take old product but the potency may not be 100%. So you may want to order a little less depending on how active you are (although your discount won't be quite as good). I will report back if the effects are any different from the Walmart or KMart supplier but may also probe the manufacturer about the one-year use-by date.

I tried contacting the manufacturer of the HT generic V, but never received a reply. However I called the HT pharmacy today, and they told me they put a "dispose of" date exactly one year from the time the script is filled for all meds, unless the manufacturer gives them a shorter expiration date. V is a coated med, and is generally good for at least 2-3 years kept at room temps, and I've heard even 5-6 years is possible. Even then it's not supposed to be harmful, but will likely be reduced in strength. So if you go for a big script like I do for 90 days to get the best price, I wouldn't worry about them going bad before you can use them all up. However, if you split them like me (which exposes the active ingredient to air), I would only split a few at a time when you are close to using them (I usually split about 10-15 pills in advance and keep the split pills in a different bottle with a desiccant pack in the bottle).

Same with Generic C-Tadalafil 20 mg from Walmart using GoodRx. $76 for 90 days and you can quarter them or split them. I normally 3rd them and it works out to about. 28 cents per. GoodRx is where it's at. Just saying HC.

If I could use up the 90 pills in 90 days (usually halved) that means I've had 180 encounters in 3 months (I wish!). I expect my new 90 pill script to last at least a year as I still have some pills from my previous 90-day script a little over a year ago.

Yes 90 Pills that's why the pharmacist kind of winked at me when I told him that should last me the weekend. I switch back and forth just to see the differences between the L, C, and V (generics). It kills my sinuses for a few days like a head cold as others have reported. Also the L and the C makes my muscles / joints kind of sore which is a side effect with them. Play safe Tiger and thanks for all the reports that you have put in as it has kept me out of some trouble, HC.

Well I just move here a few months ago and I am running low in sildenafial and I wasn't aware that you can't get ed meds shipped to SC, I was receiving my orders from GoRoman but apparently no more. Any suggestions or recommendations on how to proceed or anything like that. And why aren't they allowed to ship to this state?

I have plenty of supply for myself, but don't know whether I'm going to have an annual physical this year so am hoarding my V just in case I don't get to visit the doctor this year (no refills on my script). I read where a lot of generics may be caught up in supply chain issues soon along with many other products such as meat and other necessities. I don't know whether ED meds are going to be in short supply, but better to be safe than sorry I figure.

Aged Brothers of the Thrill.

Last year I got irritated with the Dr only prescribing 12 or 15 pills. So I had a frank discussion with him. It basically went this way:

"Doc, we have to talk. You are giving me a script for 12 pills. Then I have to call you for a refill. Cut me some slack and give me 60 and refills so we don't have to have this conversation 3 or 4 times a year. ".

His reply:

"OK, that's fair. ".

He gave me a script for 30 and 4 refills. I did GoodRX on generics, went to Walmart. The pharmacist said "You know, this isn't really controlled. How would you like me to give you all the refills. It will be cheaper that way.

I said: "Fabulous".

Got 120 for $35.

Moral of the story: The Doc has no problem with it. Just talk to him like he is your mechanic (body mechanic).

True Story.

Peace.

Papa, great info and great pricing. Which Pharmacy did you use with GoodRX for that price? Thanks, HC.He mentioned Walmart but always check the GoodRx website for latest pricing. Sometimes HT has been a little cheaper, depending on how many pills you get (and it should always be the 100 mg dose for V since it's more economical when you split the pills).

My conversation with the doc about script size lasted all of 30 seconds. I just said I can get a much better price if I get more pills so can I get more than 10 this time? I got a nod and a script for 90, which is either 180 or 360 doses for me (I have switched to halves since I get cleaner cuts with halves than quarters, and price is no longer an issue).

In the market for some blue pills PM me please. In the upstate sc area.If you've read through these posts and can get a script, your best and cheapest source is your local pharmacy like Walmart or HT with the (free) GoodRx card. If for some reason you can't get your doc to write one, there are a few here who can help with a handling fee.

Just got a script for generic V / Sildenafil Citrate 100 MG's with 2 refills (have a year to fill the other 2 refills). Best deal was Costco (don't have to be a member for prescriptions, I'm not). Used the GoodRx and paid $34 for 90 pills for 100 mg's. I split mine so that works out to about .38 cents per pill (or .18 cents per half pill). Not going to get much less expensive than that except for free. Just saying, HC.

Any V on the black market? TM.TM, with all the fentanyl flying around I'd be wary of under the line drugs. Do yourself a favor, get a script for Cialis from your doc, then go to CanadianPharmacyWorld.com and put an order in. I just refilled mine for 84 5 mg tabs for $64.99. This batch came from the UK, but you have a wide selection of options. Shipping takes about a couple weeks but once you're in just put a reorder when you get low. You can order as many as you want too. Good luck brother.

I used a GoodRX coupon and had my doc send the script to them. This latest fill was 90 10 MG for 52.99. They usually take 3 to 4 days to ship. It is generic Tadalfil. Once they have the GoodRX coupon in the system they always charge the same price. If they ever jack it up I text, email or call them and tell them that is not what the deal is. I have been using them for about 3 years now. If you set up with Autofill and have enough refills on your script they automatically send them to you monthly. I also get the 5 mg for 12.99 for 30. The 5 is for my prostate and the 10 is for ED. Just set it up that way with the doc I had at the time. So I always have a good supply of them around. I tend to use the 10 for my prostate most of the time since 5 is too weak a dose but the doc cannot prescribe more than 5 for prostate. Just an FYI. They are all govt approved versions of Cialis generic.

Do ED meds keep you stiff after busting? How does it work?Lets just say they enhance your experience. A lot. Keep you up and generally help with the height or force of the explosion. I like generic Cialis since it stays with you for a long time. You do not have to worry about taking it within 4 hours like with the V. Been taking one or the other for years even before I needed to. Sucks getting old but this keeps you young.

Do ED meds keep you stiff after busting? How does it work? Not really. But when I take Cialis I am ready for round two in about twenty minutes. Without it I am pretty much a one shot guy these days. Thirty years ago, I had to get three shots to empty the boys, now its only one. Getting old sucks. But if I take a Cialis in the morning, I can get two good hard rounds that afternoon or evening. The C lasts a while, so you may need to jerk one off the next morning.

Great info, thanks for sharing. Will definitely look into it.No matter where you get whatever from, check out the goodrx price and see who honors it. There might be some local places that are cheaper for large quantities like Publix or Walmart.

I did that with this place and just decided to use it and have been for a while. At the time they were cheaper than local places. Once you get setup with them, they automatically send the stuff.

Monthly. Which works most of the time, sometimes I have to write emails or text them when they get confused LOL. But I also do not have to go anywhere to pick the stuff up. Which I like so.

It is worth it to me.

What the girl said LOL. But I did quit drinking about 5 or 6 years ago so I do not worry about it. I also have seen that you should take.

Either one on an empty stomach, especially V. With C it does not seem to matter that much because it lasts a lot longer as far as staying.

A 5 mg tadalafil (cialis generic) is the medication used for that, as a daily dosage. GoodRX can give you a good rate on 90 of those at any number of pharmacies (Walmart, CVS, Publix, etc.). Then don't take 'them every day, just take four before you play (same as 20 mg standard cialis dosage). If you're over 50 (or maybe 45) that will be easily understood. Just tell them you're tired of getting up 4-5 times a night to whiz.

A note about C. One of the side effects is lower back pain which doesn't occur until a few days after ingestion. It's very uncomfortable and not worth it IMHO.Never had that side-effect. I do take the 5 mg daily for BPH, and it pretty much does double duty. When I have time with a special lady (long-distance partner during her visits), I will sub a 20 mg and drop the 5 mg for a couple days. Just want to be sure I perform, but haven't always had to do that because 5 mg / daily usually does the trick. As with all meds (and medical advice) YMMV. V makes me flush and pretty much is a one-shot deal (not that I'm doing much MSOG -- the partner is not much for extended encounters). C at least gives me 36 hours of effect so if we have a two-day visit, I'm good! I also don't have the issue with my doctor, being single -- so she gave me the 20mg script to boot!
