Thanks or Upvote button?

I know any change to the forum is probably a lot of coding, but I would love to see a simple "Thanks" or "Upvote" button where we could thank members who have posted useful information without taking up space and wasting people's time posting a separate thank you message. (Or even sending a thank you PM.).

When information is truly special and helpful, I will post a thank you or send a PM, but sometimes, I just want to give the person a nod, you know what I mean?
