Hey guys you have a great deal of amazing sugar babies down in Charleston but I don't see a thread for it so am trying to post this in the user blog section hoping we can talk about them and share info.
I have been in the hobby for few years, but new to the sugar bowl. Had one month premium membership for SA few months ago, I would say I had mixed results. I have been chatting with her for few weeks. I noticed that she spends lots of time on the site. Still she has not committed for a meet. I found her real identify and the information on her profile matches what I found. She mentioned about expecting a gift at the meet which is a red flag for me. I did tell her my expectations that just for meet & greet I don't give allowance (although I give a small gift of around $50 if the girl doesn't ask for it). I've met a couple of women from this site. This was about a year ago and none of them are on the site anymore (or they've blocked me).
The first was a perpetually broke housewife who was an expert at hiding her weight in photo's. We met once. I wasn't happy that she was so chunky but I was very much in need that evening so I went through with it.
The second was more promising. We met for drinks but nothing ever came of it.

Met a girl on CL a while back before they fucked it. We would meet up and I gave her $100 each time. After a while, she started calling me for $$ but wasn't able to meet up (busy, on the rag etc). I am by no means an expert in sugaring scene. Only had about an year of experience using SA. I got screwed up few times (early on), but learnt from mistakes, and learned skills and art of taking these girls to FC. Many sent me PMs asking for advice, so I thought of writing this.
What I explain below applies only if you are looking for what I call a true SB from SA, and who you want to have repeated dates. I don't look for Escorts or one time deals there. You can find them there, but the approach is different. I know all these girls give pussy for money, but I am looking for a different type of girl than a BP girl.
1. Pay $90 and be a premium member. If you can't afford $90 per month to be a member, you can't afford to be a true SD.
2. Spend sometime on setting up your profile. Make your profile appealing to girls. Be simple and up to the point, but attractive. Don't lie and exaggerate about you in your profile. We don't like when girls lie on their profile, girls do too. Having at least one photo is advantageous. I have just one photo as public photo (with no face identification). But I tell them I can send additional photos after chatting and get comfortable.
3. Cast a wide net, message as many as possible SBs that you are interested. It is a numbers game.
4. Write a good first message. Again keep it simple and short, but enough details to tell what you are looking for. Show that you read her profile and say something specific about her. Make it personable. Be respectful and show that you are not a creep. My biggest challenge is getting them to respond.
5. If they respond, my second message is to set up ground rules (no online crap, set a reasonable time limit to meet up etc). Show that you are serious and you want them to be serious. Most flakes and scammers drop out after my second message.
6. I tell them if they can't meet up within a week, message me back when they are ready to meet within a week. If they agree, now I have a potential SB that I can work on.
7. Try to switch communications to text or personal e-mails as soon as possible. Don't talk about allowance in SA chat. You will get banned.
8. Don't bring up the "allowance" issue yourself. Most girls will bring it up before meet. Say you can't promise anything. If they insist, give a range and say you have to meet her to finalize a number. But, try to avoid it until meet as much as possible. If you are appealing to her, she may agree for a lower allowance. My typical allowance is 200-300 per meet.
9. Set up a meet as early as possible. Communicate date, time, and place properly. Confirm with her day prior to the meet to make sure the meet is still going to happen. Never agree to pay for meet and greet. If they insist, drop her.
10. I always go for a coffee for the first meet. Some girls insist on lunch or dinner instead of coffee. Drop them. They are just looking for a free meal.
11. Be on time for the meet. Arrive on time and present yourself well. First impression is everything. Within 5 min of meeting, she is going to decide if she is going to fuck you or not. Listen to her rather than you talking. You can get clues what she is really looking for. Be upfront and about what your expectations are, and communicate to her.
12. Some may agree to go to FC right after, some may not. Be patient, you may need one or two "platonic" dates before hitting FC with some girls. If the girl is attractive enough, I would do it. But, I never pay allowance for those dates. They may talk about chemistry, getting to know each other etc. Tell them it is Ok, but they can't expect allowance for that. Most girls are Ok with that if they are serious. I of course pay for meal, drinks etc. And Uber charges or gas money. That's it.
13. If you can't take her to FC on the third time you meet, it is never going to happen.
14. Give them a reasonable allowance. Don't be a jerk and try to negotiate to last $5. Treat her well, most girls treat you back the same way. But, always be vigilant, and don't trust her 100%.

It is a numbers game. Message as many potential girls as possible and screen. Also it is a location and time. In my experience Savannah is the best place around here favorable towards SDs. Of course it is a long drive from Charleston. Timing is also a key. First few days of the month. The rent is due. Girls who have not made up their mind will make up their mind when they face the potential of being kicked out of the apartment. It has happened to me several times. Girls I thought I had no chance due to allowance or anything else will keep on texting you when rent is due. Don't ever end your communication with a potential in a sour note even if she rejects you. I signed up and have had some success here in town. I am glad I signed up. Had a date with one that rocked my world, but then other mongers got involved and she got out of my price range. Let me share a few. Just some general comments first based on my experience.
Be willing to compromise: Lets be honest. What girls want is to make most money with least work, least time spent, with least risk and guilt. Be willing to negotiate and come to a middle ground. You will be successful.

Accept the fact that all these girls lie. The difference is how many lies and the extent of the lie. I am sure we ourselves lie to these girls too.

I will second and third everything the fine Dr. stated below. Some of these girls move quick, some log on every few months and string you along. It's a numbers game and a timing game. Thanks for the kind words, brother. I guess most of us have limited budget, so eliminating the GPS serves us all well. I think I am borderline addicted to sugar bowl and sex in general. As far as the site goes, it is getting a little more difficult as of late. Here is a trick that I have been using for a safe way to one, avoid a paper trail for anyone to find and two, to have anyone know who I am when checking in. Call and ask if the hotel / motel does day visits. I always tell them I am not local and awaiting a plane that has been delayed at the airport. Really depends on the manager on duty and I always get the managers name. I always pay in cash. Most of the time they never ask to see an I'd or CC. I have also been using a few airbnb's with a burner credit card that is refillable. Easy to do and non-traceable. You can do the same with this type CC at a hotel. You can also book online and present a printed receipt / confirmation to get keys without an I'd or CC on file.
I have used all of these ways and discovered by doing a little homework from other websites. Don't check in last minute. If you have a noon date arriving, do an early check in and then you don't feel rushed or nervous. Took me a few tries to figure it all out but it works!!

That's absolutely an element you have to consider. I remember a member on here telling the exact same story and was blackmailed by a SB. I agree with Kiter, 100-200 is kind of low. Not saying you won't find it, it just may be a lower end product. I'm not talking service wise, but more on the looks side. That price range also reeks of desperation and all that may come with that. But, it's been done and can be done. I would say 400 is my limit, but I can be talked into 5 if the situation is right.

You better be a high value client to make that worth it going forward but offering her nothing for half a day of her time, should / would be a non starter IMHO.

I think we're going to see an uptick in the SB world in the near future because of the virus going around and closing bars, restaurants etc. So I thought I'd share some tips that work for me:
1. I have photos on my SA profile but they're private until I decide to share them. Do what you want, this is a personal decision on my part.
2. I avoid any women on the site who mention online or platonic only in their profile. Not what I'm there for and I legitimately believe that sort of thing should be discouraged.
3. I have "canned" messages I send to the women to get the conversation going. I'll individualize them as needed but I don't put too much thought into it until we're actually having a conversation.
4. If I sense a pro vibe, I bail. To me pro's are not far removed from doing it myself (just friction).
5. Know what you want and what you're willing to part with for it and don't be afraid to have those conversations.
6. On average, I get asked for 2-3. Sometimes 4-5. Much more than that is absolutely out of the question and I almost never agree to the higher asks and, on the off chance I do, they damn well better be justified.
7. If something seems off, bail.
8. If it seems TGTBT, do your due diligence but be prepared to bail.
9. These aren't your normal STG girls. Most are used to meeting for coffee or whatever before anything happens. That's not really an option at the moment so be prepared to do a little "dancing" to get to the meet.
10. If you find a good one (or two), hang on to them.

I believe that about the SA scam. I know a guy who was extorted off Craigslist back in the day. A former co-worker of mine replied to an ad about a girl visiting and looking to meet up while she was in town. This was before bumble and tinder and all that, prob 6-7 years ago. They emailed back and forth for a full day and for some reason he felt comfortable giving his FB profile to her to so she could "feel safe" about meeting.
Boom. She (He) had access to all his friends, his wife and his wife's family. They wanted 1500 bucks to keep quiet. He somehow got them to accept "installments" of 250 a week through Western Union. Paid them once and then stopped replying to the emails they would send. Eventually they went away. Most of the time these people are working many people at once so if they get anything they're happy.
I'm sure scams have evolved since the and I always keep it in the back of my mind when dealing with everyone off SA.

4. (And this is the kicker) If you open up the third picture that looks like an airport snapshot, in the upper left of the picture you will see a guy sitting at a work station wearing an Arab style head covering. Now unless things have change a lot Charlotte or Raleigh's airports. I am betting the house this is "Scammer".

I agree with ScBomber, the SA site is utterly disappointing the the moment. All new profiles are either fakes, scammers, or picture sellers. The current situation actually has encouraged girls not to meet, and most of them are not eager to meet at all. It kind of makes sense though. These girls are not the best of financial planners, they live day by day, and if there is no real urgency to make money, they are happy the lazy way they are. The government is currently throwing money at them in terms of unemployment benefits, stimulus, and landlords are not pushing for rent and credit cards are not pushing for payments. Why would they make an effort to spread their legs to an old dude? But, I expect the situation will change in few months where government money runs out, economy is back at slower pace, most restaurants are out of business (most SA girls are waitresses) , landlords are pushing for rents.
