I'm new here. Sorry if this is somewhere else or it could be a good idea for a new thread.
Anyone planning any trips soon? If so, where? It's great to have fun with guys from Hawaii and go mongering together that way someone speaks your language even if it is only da kine.
So post your plans. Destinations. Hotels. Tips. etc. I know we can check the main WSG for specific spots, but more power to the local boys.
BTW I'm looking for a trip around the 20-27of July.
Too bad I already live here... one problem I see. Most mongers tend to be introverts and I don't think they would be comfortable doing somthing that they probly keep secret even from their families with another person.
This is a good thread. I was thinking about a monger vacation till I realized that I'm not a dedicated monger (heh). With all of the info discovered at WSG, I'd rather keep mongering as an option rather than a goal. I had one good connection through FriendFinder in Japan last year, and had to travel by Shinkansen from Yokohama to Osaka (not cheap) to meet her. From there, we went directly to Kyoto for the weekend. There was another encounter near the end of the 5 week stay. Will return next March.
In the meantime, am lightly considering Bali/Indonesia, Thailand, and PI. Bali is good for a surf and party vacation, but there are little to no listings at FF. Thailand and PI have plenty of FF listings.
Am interested in going to Germany, Russia, or the Ukraine but the airfares are exorbitant, especially for Russia. Germany would be great since I really like German girls, and still have basic conversational skills. Additionally, the train and transportation system is fairly straight forward once you understand the basics (unlike Japan which can quickly become very intimidating). For that side of the world, Russia has the greatest allure. Made friends with a cool and pretty Russian girl in a KB a few years ago (there were 3 working in a bar for a short time). I get a woody just listening to their accented English.
Due to work commitments, I'll be lucky to get in a short dive trip to the Big Island before the end of summer. My style and goals mostly favor the Lone Ranger approach, but it would be fun to get together with someone now and again.

It's the right thread for sure. It's about Hawaii people going to other places, so we'll be able to compare and contrast other places relative to what we have here. That said, Thailand is great value, but Macau is amazing in terms of quality and selection.

People in Hawaii have an American sub-culture that to a certain extent, sets us apart from the rest of the people in the U.S. Although the International forums are without a doubt the definitve resource on this subject, sometimes it is clearer and more comfortable to communicate and compare notes among ourselves as well.

BTW I'm looking for a trip around the 20-27of July.Went to Thailand once and it was cheap and a lot of gfe if your looking for that. I butterflyed and got a glued key hole for me and my crew LOL. I’m going soon with my fellow part time mongers.
I can see the reason for this forum but like some one said most monger are loners. I like to go with people who I know personally. My main reason is that I know how my fellow compatriots act under certain circumstances (drunk) and in a fight or flight situation the last thing I need is a closet as*hole when inebriated. When in a foreign country one must consider the criminal element and brushes with the law enforcement.
There are three reasons why I wouldn’t take a trip to the PI as someone mentioned!
1. The amount of political factions (communist insurgents, Muslims, anti government militants) that are active in the PI. Last thing I would want to be is a ransom hostage because I’m American. Of course these factions are geographically dispersed so the threat level is dependent on where you are going.
2. One of my friends temporarily lived in the PI and said if he had to choose between the PI or Thailand he said that Thailand is better.
3. I you happen to be of the Japanese persuasion (hapun) I wouldn’t think the local population has of yet forgotten the atrocities the Jpn army did there during WW II .. LOL
Just my two cents but I can see why a person would like to got mongering in a foreign land with a fellow local since you can talk pidgin and even English speakers wouldn’t understand what the hell are your talking about.
I hear that Mexico and south America has some action going on too.

2650You could try travelvelocity or other web based fare search engines. But the really cheap fares for foreign travel is seasonally based with date restrictions in my experience.

Well, I am considering a trip to Thailand at the end of Sept. to do some site seeing, watch some muay thai, drink singhas, monger, etc.
PM me if anyone is going around then or you got suggestions. This will be my first time there. I will primarilly go to train mt, probabally at a real commercial gym like fairtex in the morn and afternoon and then see the night life. Maybe a week long trip. Can some of you guys give me the breakdown on expenses. I beleive I just saw art from HIIA (hon) to thailand around $445. Hotel? Taxi? Site seeing? Food expenses?

Prices are really cheap for everything, food, hotel, and ladies. You can get a decent deal on Priceline. I never felt like it was dangerous and went to Lumpini, Patpong, Sukhumvit, Ratchadapisek. The only bad experience I had was with taxi drivers trying to rip me off and tuk tuk drivers. The women are beautiful and most speak enough English to take care of business. AT2If you're going to Macau go to Lisboa CAsino Hotel and see the parade of beautiful young ladies 7-10 going back and forth in a hall way next to restaurant 500HKD ST only. Stay a couple of days then go to Champing town in Donguan South China if you think Macau was Disneyland then champing is Super Disneyland (you willneed a interpreter who speaks canton and Mandarin) Next trip I will bypass Macau and go straight to Champing.

I'll second the vote for Changping. For Chinese women it's amazing. Not only are they young, hot and affordable, they're very well trained sexually. I like Macau because of the selection. Lots of hot Chinese, Thai, Viet, with some Russian / Korean / Japanese / Mongolian thrown in. Most of the places in Macau you can get by speaking English, but in China, you really have to be able to speak a little bit of Mandarin. Macau is a lot more expensive, though.
Had the option to go on a short trip at the beginning of Sept, but decided to buy a few expensive toys instead. Am going to Vegas in early Oct. We'll see what happens after that.

I've mongered in Beijing, Tianjin, Guangdong, Hongkong, and Seoul. I would have to say that my favorite place is hongkong. You don't get much better service than that anywhere else in the world. Except for Korea. Those two places had the hands down the most attractive women I have ever seen or had. Though in korea the girls pad their bra's alot more than the chinese. HK and Tianjin were the best places for me as I can speak some mandarin. And you can get the best bang for your buck (pun intended) too. Actualy the best I've had though was in Guilin in the hotel I stayed in. Beautiful young and pitite. Natural lage Bs. Real GF feel. And she did an amazing Cowgirl. If I was staying longer I would have repeated every night. 400 rmb st. Not sure on lt but I am sure it was availiable. Too bad I was traveling with guys I don't know. Another friend of mine on the trip fell in love with his girl. He had her twice. It was the GF feel that did it for him. Much better he said than stuff here in hawaii.
So in short I would say that you should get yourself down to HK, Tianjin, (China in general), or Korea (more expensive)

All you need to do is go to Jackson's International site. There's way too much info on Bangkok, HK, China, and Korea to fit on one page. You can write a book on it. Once you go to Bangkok, Macau, Shanghai, etc. you will never see the hobby the same way again.

Guilin is in the southern part of China, while Tianjin is next to Beijing in the North east of China. Tangu is the place that you want to go to in Tianjin, it's a port city. Tons of fun to be had. Cheaper by far if you speak the language. Don't know for sure, but at the amps/spa's that I go to they will probably charge you more if you look like a foreigner and don't speak the language. Actually they don't speak any english so you're kinda screwed if you don't speak mandarin. I always go with my Taiwan buddy makes things easier. Though he usually lies about being Taiwanese and says he's from HK if they ask (due to political situation). Had a friend almost get into a fight becaue they said that Taiwan was Taiwan and not a part of China anymore. I know of a place in karaoke place in beijing where you can take the girl home for 1k rmb. Not bad selection. All young. There was also a place next to IKEA that you could get BBBJCIM along with a sensual massage. But not sure if it's still around. You could get a Icy hot and Poison Dragon. Not bad if you never had it before.
In any part of China fun can be had at night by looking for barber shops with pink/red lights inside or outside. That or if you look like a foreigner someone will approach you while you walk. Speaking the language here really will cut the cost if you find anything. Walking by major hotels at night will get you enough attention, though be warned that they may not all be lagit and try to cheat you.

HK is kind of expensive, why go there, when China is right next door? Dong Guan is a great place. I think the area I was in is called Chang Ping. Lots of HK people go there for the weekends to party so prices are on the higher side, yet cheaper than HK. The good thing about that is that there is a lot of supply there, since demand is high from the HK customers.

If you asked those questions on the international threads, you might get some good answers or of course you may get flamed with a RTFF or search the internet. Anyway, here goes:
Passport:

You can also get a passport through many of the libraries. Just call them to confirm. They have the paperwork. You will need to get a passport photo. Less than $20 for the photo. The passport is good for 10 years of play.
Cost:
You can get a round trip to Thailand for about $900 to $1,000. If you ever wanted to see Japan, you can do a stop over through Japan Airlines, since there are no direct flights. If you use China Air or some other airline, they should have their own hubs for stop over if you wish. Normally you leave Hawaii, somewhere between 11:00am and 1:40pm and get to Bangkok around 11:00pm to midnight. You lose almost two days getting there, but get one day back on return due to the international date line (e.g. leave Friday get there very late Saturday night).
The hotels will cost between $50 and $150 (good to great) and $300 if you want to live it up in a high rollers type suite!
Currency:
The currency is the baht. 1,000 baht is about $25 US, but it bounces around a lot. You can and will get laid for $25 to $75, and many of them will be all nighters, with the ever so blissful morning wakeup bj. Of course, YMMV.
What to do:
In Bangkok, I guess it depends on your tastes, but here are some suggestions:
Soapies:
Definitely recommend Poseidon and/or Copacabana. Top of the line, nice selection and sideline girls. They have the classic fish bowl set up, with 30-50 girls. In the good old days, it was a hundred. Most places are 1,700 - 2,700 baht, and higher for the sideline girls and high end girls. Price range depends on the size and quality of the establishment. Tips range from 200-500 baht norm, although I have seen higher numbers mentioned.

Soi 33 Artists Bars, Livinstones & Massage Parlors: Soi 33 has both the artists bars and some very good massage places. The artists bars are named after famous artists and are more upscale. There are some great looking woman. Livingstones has parties in the evenings around the pool bar & pool area. The owner (Giotto) contributes a lot of posts, so info is easy to find. Giotto is friendly and helpful.
Soi 33 Teen Massage has some fans. Small rooms are the downside, but a nice selection of girls. I hear there are larger rooms available on the 1st floor. Massage is around 900-1,200 baht. Down Time: During the day, hit the Emporium shopping mall. Nice place, excellent eating spots, and you can catch a movie. The movies are usually in english with Thai subtitles, it's cheap and best of all it's cool and you can recharge. The seats are very comfortable as well. Siam Square has another good shopping center. Non shopping includes some of the bars with pool tables or sports bars. There's always golf if you are into it. Of course there's temples galore, Grand Palace, and other touristy things.
In the evening, if you like singing, you can hit one of the Karaoke places and have some girls join you. After there's always the take out option.
Barbershops & Foot Massage Places: Friends massage near Nana for a nice pampering session. Options are haircut, shampoo, pedicure, foot massage, oil massage. Extra's are on the table. They open early and it's a good way to start the day. Get creative and suggest something off the menu and they may oblige! Lot's of other similar places, so don't limit yourself to Friends. Most options range from 250-600 baht.
J-Bars: There are quite a few bars catering to Japanese only. They can almost be as selective as some of the real Japan bars! Lol! Got turned away at a couple. In most, though, I was able to get in. Don't recall the names off hand, but they are all over the place. Very easy to spot.
Soi 22: Sazanka massage has been well reviewed in the massage thread and comes highly recommended. It is a unique experience, with a salt body scrub, massage and a very unique hj at the end.
Thermae: The place is a long time BKK institution that has changed over time. It was called the Star Wars bar, because of the mix of characters and nationalities. It's been years since I have gone there, but it seems there's a full range of 2's-9's and ages 20's-40's. All free lancers.

10 Days is more than enough for a first visit. The heat and pollution may get to you a bit. Drink bottled water not tap. You may get the runs, since you never traveled internationally. One or two trips to either Thailand or the PI will take care of that. After that, your system will kick ass! You may be getting laid 2-5 times a day, so 10 days is a lot, unless you pace yourself or are Superman.
There's no difference going solo or with someone. Either way, you are going to want your own room, so the expenses are the same. The plus of going with someone is the conversation. Thai girls speak some english, but it's not their strong suit, so you do miss some good conversation during meals. Having said that, on your own, you get to do what you want and when you want to. You will be with girls constantly, so will you miss your buddy?

To go to China Spa and Pine Tree, it would be easy to take any bus in Waikiki that makes a stop at Ala Moana Center (such as bus numbers 8, 19, 20, 42 and 58), and then simply walk up Keeaumoku Street.

Thanks TGDriving around the island would take you around 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic. You should stop off at the old North Shore town to grab some shaved ice and some local grinds. It is kind of a tourist town. Checking out the beaches and sights is pretty much what you would be doing. If you want to go snorkeling, Hanauma Bay Beach (highly recommended) is a great fish reserve where you can swim with and check out the fishes (on land and in the water, hahaha).

Make sure to spell it with two Os if you have to write it anywhere... Honolulu.
As for driving, I would start by going around the east side (Hanauma Bay, blowhole, Sandy Beach, Makapuu, Wamanalo, etc.) then continue on Kamehameha Highway all the way to the North Shore (Haleiwa town). Then come back through the Pineapple fields and Dole Cannery before hitting Scholffield Barracks. Then on through via H2 til you hit H1. That won't get you everywhere, but certainly is the best drive you can take. Budget six hours for the whole thing with a stop in Haleiwa for lunch and Dole for a pineapple soft serve cone.

Yeah, Hotel St. is just 2 blocks makai (south) of what is now "Long's", where the street action currently is located downtown. I remember Hotel St. in the early '80 when it was still a public thoroughfare. Picture in your mind up to 100 streetwalkers or more when the fleet was in, and maybe around 60 on a normal weekend. The two blocks towards the canal was TV/TS territory, and you would not believe how many of them there were. It means 1USD equals 32.9 Baht, which means when you spend 1000 for overnight for a bar girl, you would have spent a little more than $30.
For 1 USD, you get 60 baht.
If you are selling baht for USD, 60 baht would give you $1.80.

Man, this got messed up! The exchange rate is simple:
1.00 US Dollars = 32.8513 Baht
30.00 US Dollars = 985.59 Baht (About 1,000 baht)
The reason 1,000 baht is important to remember is it's the standard building block for ST and LT rates. ST (Short time rates = 2-3 hours) and LT (Long Time Rates = Overnight). The ST rates are 1,000 to 2,000 Baht in general, although some girls ask for 3,000 Baht. The LT rates are 2,000 to 3,000 Baht, although again, some girls may ask for 4,000 Baht.
The rates vary based on looks and venue. Hot Girl, Hyatt Night Club BKK, and you will hear them ask for 4,000 Baht easy. You can negotiate! If the girl likes you, you can get away with less.

Edsa is definitely more laid back. There's also the LA cafe. A/C is a great drinking town with lot's of cheap sex. The selection is not as good though. Well, it's time for dinner and then it's time to hit the bars!

I've never been there and I'd like to go with somebody who has (and doesn't mind having a wing man).
Especially if a person isn't already an experienced international traveler, it's understandable to have some concern about making a first trip to the Philippines alone. However, needing to coordinate vacation periods with another traveler can result in delaying the trip, or even in cancelling the trip if the other traveler has an unexpected problem or change of plans. That happened to me years ago, and I then decided to make my first trip alone.
If you do decide to go alone, I would recommend Angeles City over Metro Manila for your first trip. The entertainment area of Angeles City is relatively compact and has a "small town" feel to it. With the traffic situation in Metro Manila, it can take a while to travel between the several entertainment areas there. It's easier to learn your way around in Angeles City, and in my opinion the customers are generally more friendly in Angeles City bars. Angeles City bars also have a payment system that eliminates any need to negotiate a price with a girl, which you might find easier on your first trip.
There are many guys who came to Angeles City alone on their first trip and had a great time. Of course, that's not to say that Metro Manila isn't also lots of fun, but for a first trip by a "newbie" on his own, personally I think Angeles City would be preferable.

The other option, if you ever wanted to see Japan, is to use JAL. Spend a few days in Japan and then hit the PI. The stop over is at probably no additional to very little additional cost to you. The downside, you lose some play time and most of the flights leaving Tokyo hit Manila late at night.
It's about 3:00am in the morning here in BKK. I'm still in the early stages, where I keep waking up. The good news is a couple of cuties just walked into the internet cafe. Probably Nana girls, who did not get hooked up.

Yes, I always fly Philippine Airlines when going to the Philippines. They have the only non-stop flights between Hawaii and the Philippines; their terminal (the Centennial Terminal) is better than the old and congested terminal used by other airlines; and they have a relatively liberal mileage program (Mabuhay Miles).

Check out the following hotels. All within 1,280 to 2,380 baht and good value. Dynasty Inn Grande Soi 6, Majestic Grand (between Soi 4 and 6), and Grand President Soi 11. A cheap alternative, which I have not used, is the Dynasty Inn on Soi 4. They just re-did the place and it's 1,280 baht a night.
I like the Dynasty Inn Grande on Soi 6, since it's new, nice and roomy. Close enough to Nana Plaza and the BTS Nana station.

The agent also said its WAY CHEAPER in the summer (like what Kapalua said) but of course during the summer (95 degrees, 90% humidity) its super hot YIKES! January and February being the best months to go, but its still kinda hot.
To clear up one other thing: There is no need for a VISA, since I am only going there for 1 week. The agent said VISAs vary from country to country, but THAILAND only requires a VISA if you plan on staying there for MORE THAN 30 DAYS.

You don't need a Visa. Your stay is less than 30 days. Once you have your Passport, you are good to go! It's an additional level of travel restriction, which requires a specific purpose and time frame for traveling. It's used to restrict travel out of places like Thailand and the Phillipines, so they don't all jump ship! LOL!

Yeah, it's a little like the old song .. A little bit country and a little bit Rock-n-Roll. Pattaya's a laid back beach resort area. Cheaper, but not as good a selection (not many high end lookers). Bangkok is pure big city, with lots of traffic but lots of venues. Different strokes for different folks.
Guys who like Pattaya generally don't like Bangkok and visa versa. I'm a BKK guy.

Just got back and yes it's Hot during the summer months. The advantage is you have a buyers market. June is usually low season in BKK and you have a choice of rooms and just ball parking it, but I'd say about 100,000 woman! LOL!
Book your room in advance. One less thing to worry about and the popular hotels sell out during peak season. The 3 hotels I mentioned all fit in your price range.

1. (Instant and Free) The USA friendly countries, like Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Thailand, many European countries, don't require you to pay or pre-apply for a visa ahead of time. You just fill out your form on arrival to the country and you get stamped an instant visa.
2. (Pre-apply and pay) Such countries like Vietnam and China, requires you to get a visa ahead of time, and there is a fee of around $85 for China (Vietnam it may be included in the airfare price). The travel agent usually arranges for your visa to these countries. You need to get these visas before you fly or the airlines will not let you board the plane; they get fined.

I can't compare because I've never been to Thailand... yet! But, I can say that P. Burgos Street in Manila rocked my world. The Filipinas there love sex and are truly LBFMs (little brown fucking machines)! And although I haven't been to Angeles City a couple of hours north by taxi, I hear it is the bomb too! It is much more in your face about the sex industry than Manila is. NO COMPLAINTS.
However, I doubt if there is any reason to switch from Thailand. I would do both brah! Get Thailand done now, and Manila later!

A lot of it is just taste. Here's my take (Bangkok, Pattaya, Manila and Angeles City):
Cost: Angeles City about $25-$30 for all nighter, Pattaya about $30 to $40 short-time (A few hours) and $60-$75 all night. Manila about the same as Pattaya and Bangkok about $60 short-time and $90 all nighter. Bangkok is definitely the most expensive, but you can get some pretty high quality girls. AC is the cheapest, but it's a small town and don't expect to take two different girls from the same bar on different nights, without some drama queen antics. Flattering, but a pain in the ass! LOL!
GFE: Angeles City (AC) is the most GFE. They tend to fall for you, but like I said, along with that comes a lot of drama. Pattaya is in between. Manila similar to Pattaya and BKK the most business like. In fact Nana Plaza is getting more and more mercenary every year. Pick and choose carefully in BKK.
PSE: Bangkok has the most well trained girls and/or established routines. This means better massages, great service in the Soapies, excellent threesome action at Eden's, etc. Manila is good, Pattaya is good and AC is in the sticks. Don't expect anything remotely resembling training in AC. There are very little if any massage joints in AC.
Looks: Bangkok comes up number one for me, but this category is probably the most subjective. Manila and Pattaya are good and AC comes in last. On the high end, your best chance at finding model type looks is in BKK and Manila 2nd.
Bodies: The Thai girls have a more sleek look, tighter bodies and in the PI, they have a little more baby fat and in some cases a lot more. The PI does have it's share of nice bodies, though, but mostly in Manila.
Hotels: Bangkok comes in 1st, Manila and Pattaya and last is AC. Of course BKK is the most expensive if you go the four star / five star hotel route. But the hotels are awesome. You get what you pay for. Surprisingly, the AC hotels are just as expensive as the BKK hotels (About $60 a night for a mid range hotel and $30 a night for a low end hotel).
Venues: BKK, Pattaya, Manila and AC last. BKK has Soapies, Go-Go's like Nana and Soi Cowboy, Oil Massages, Foot Massages, BJ bars, Night Clubs with freelancers, Pool Bars with freelancers, Street Walkers, Coffee Shops with freelancers, theme massage places like Akane and Sazanka, etc. No other place on the planet has so many options. The Soapies are the size of most of the large hotels in Waikiki. They have a lobby area, restaurant and a Fish Bowl with about 30-100 girls. They actually have over 300 girls working, but most are busy in the rooms upstairs. Manila has some similarities to BKK, but just can't match the number of options and girls. Pattaya is similar. AC is just Go-Go bars, bars, BJ bars and small massage joints.
Language: You can have much better conversations with the gals in the PI. English is a real 2nd language there. Conversations in BKK are very limited, unless you hit the high end places, where you have some freelance office workers and college girls earning money on the side.
Food: I think BKK has the best restaurants, with Pattaya 2nd, Manila 3rd and AC last. AC has improved over the last few years as more money is pumped into the town, due to the increase in visitors from Japan and Korea. They actually have Sushi places now, but limit your expectations! LOL! Bangkok has every food type you can think of .. Thai, American, Japanese, Italian, French, etc.
Downtime: Bangkok has better restaurants, shopping and options. Manila and Pattaya are a matter of taste. Pattaya is a beach town and Manila a big city. I prefer Pattaya over Manila, but that's more taste than anything concrete. AC is a one trick pony. AC is all about drinking and getting laid. It's like taking Keeaumoku and putting one bar after another on both sides (I know I know Keeaumoku is already kinda like that, but imagine one bar after another with nothing else but a few hotels and restaurants in between. There's some shopping malls, but very little else to do. Not necessarily a bad thing, but keep that in mind.
Summary: I prefer Bangkok, so keep all of my comments with that perspective in mind. Bangkok is pure city, with lot's of options. The Fish Bowl massage parlors are a sight to see. The traffic sucks and limits movement at times, but the Sky Train and Subway are a blessing and they get you to all the hot spots without much need for a cab. The number of girls is staggering and it will skew your thinking. It seems there are 10 to 20 girls to every guy. Bangkok can be very hot and humid. The PI is hot and humid too, but not as bad as BKK can be during the summer months.
Manila is similar to BKK in some ways, but on a smaller scale with fewer options and not as many girls. P. Burgos street is a lot of fun and there are other venues like the LA cafe. It's worth a visit if you have never been there.
Pattaya is a beach town and more laid back. They have a lot of girls, but many of the lookers end up in BKK. It has it's fans and it's cheaper than BKK.
AC is a lot of fun, since it's like a big private party. It takes several hours by Taxi down some real shit hole roads, but when you get there the party goes on from the afternoon to the wee hours. Many of the girls are GFE. The lookers tend to be picky and will pick and choose who they go with. There's just not much else to do in the mornings and when you just want to chill. It's in the middle of nowhere and no beaches or options in site. You wake up late and start drinking and partying from the afternoon and start all over again the next day. The bars are the be all end all in AC. The girls are hit and miss.
The girls in the PI do tend to be more in love with Caucasian men, the Hollywood image and of course the prior Military presence. More and more Japanese and Korean customers are going to the PI, so some of that is changing. I'll second your take on Manila on two points... English really is a second language. I can honestly say that from the north to south Philippines, I have not met even one person who could not converse in English. And second, they LOVE white men. I went to Bottom's Bar at 8pm one night. I was the ONLY customer in there. I had ten girls flock to me and literally attack me (feeling me up, kissing me, etc.) I went and sat with about 8 of them and bought a few rounds of drinks (surprisingly cheap). The movies are new, but the games are kind of junk. And you will be happy to hear that all the alcohol (beer) is free, except the premium liquors. Don't think they have Heinys though.
Hinode, I've greatly enjoyed both the Philippines and Thailand, and if I couldn't visit the Philippines in the future, I would be happy visiting Thailand. However, for a combination of three reasons, I've stopped traveling to Thailand (at least for now) in favor of the Philippines. First, in my personal experience a higher percentage of Filipinas provide an outstanding complete GFE (both in and out of bed), which I appreciate even more as I become older. Second, a much higher percentage of Filipinas can effectively communicate with me in English, even many who are young, fresh and have little experience with foreigners. Third, I dislike having to catch connecting flights and sitting around airports. There are no non-stop flights between Hawaii and Thailand, but Philippine Airlines has non-stop flights from Honolulu to Manila and from Manila to Honolulu.
Of course, these are merely my personal preferences. I would recommend that you take your trip to Thailand, and then at some point in the future take a trip to the Philippines. Depending upon your own experiences, you may decide that you prefer Thailand, or that you prefer the Philippines, or that you will continue to visit both countries.

I've never been to the PI but have been to BKK a few times. From reading about PI it seems more like a hostess bar scene. BKK has it all, hostess bars from upscale to very downscale, with MPs the size of large hotels. Speaking from experience, with a little research, it's easy to access all the places in BKK speaking no Thai at all. Very easy to get around by train/subway.
For hotels, if you want to stay at a really nice hotel, try Priceline and bid for a 5 star by Sukhumvit, you might be able to get it for around a hundred bucks. The thing about staying in a really nice hotel is that real tourists stay there so you have to go through the 'walk of shame', going through the lobby with your obviously working girl over and over through the course of your stay, and at the nicer places she'll have to leave her ID or register in the lobby. I've stayed at the JW Marriott, Majestic Suites, and some other place. Majestic Suites is clean and right around the corner from Nana Plaza and close to the Skytrain. Cheap and highly recommended. The places in Nana have Heineken, but I think it's over $5.

Do yourself a favor when you get to BKK. Buy the Bangkok Groovy map, since it's your first time. It's a good map, with easy visuals and you get a good feel for the layout of the city. It also shows the BTS Sky Train routes and the MRT Subway route, with all the stops noted. Can't beat it. You can find it at the airport bookshops or any convenience store. There will probably be a 7-11 near your hotel and the map will set you back about five bucks.
All this BKK and PI talk, has me looking at the calendar. I think I gotta make another stop sometime before the year ends!

Be careful in Vegas, unfortunately, most of the numbers posted on CL and other sites are agencies. Typically, some girl answers the phone and some other chick shows up at your hotel. They are never like the pictures or even close and will ask for 2.5+ just to show up(they will usually sell it as "I just need to get the fee out of the way and we can have fun"), from there they will start listing some rediculous prices such as 6.0 for BJ, to 5k for FS. The sad thing is that even the ugly ones try to quote that. Never pay up front for anything if they follow that scheme or better yet, if you even suspect it is an agency, hang up. I have gotten lucky with some advertisements in the yellow pages and the local papers but even then I was looking at 3.0 for CFS from average to below-average looking providers.
AMPs are basically a waste of time as someone else mentioned, they can't even compare to the HI AMPs. Apartment-style incall places have been shut down by a recently very aggressive LE. My fav was just shut down last month and it wasn't even near the Arville strip. AT2Actually you can negotiate the price for the girl. The girl usually sizes you up and she will give a price that she thinks she can start off with you. Me, she thought I was some rich japanese guy so she started me off at $1500. She brought it all the way down to $600. She was a pam anderson look alike with a bod to match. They know they will probably only see you once, have no one to answer to, and therefore have nothing to lose. Hinode :DHinode I got back from my first trip to Thailand, BKK and Pattaya. The ISG forums has pretty good reviews on hotels along with other websites, not sure if I can post links here. Before my trip I tried to read everything in the Hotel section but only read a little on bars and massages. After returning I know I missed out on Angels massage and the Rainbow gogo's (thought it was a gay gogo's). Stayed at the Dynasty Inn Grand in BKK Suk soi 6 and Dynasty Inn Pattaya on soi 13. They have free transport from BKK to Pattaya and 500 Baht fee from Pattaya to BKK, only 2 nights required at Pattaya. The location is pretty good for both but when it rained in BKK the streets flood quickly so you'll want some water proof shoes to at least 1 inch or more. Hotel wise from what I was told and saw was Suk soi 3 to soi 7 is where middle easter people usually stay. They tended to stay ver y close to the action in both cheap and expensive hotels. The Brits, Irish, Aussies, americans tended to stay near by while east asians, Japs, Koreans, etc. Tended to stay further away in quiter areas. This goes for both BKK and Pattaya. My suggestion is to stay in a hotel near the BTS sky train, either nana or Asok stations. I bought the BKK Groovy Map which was hard to find as all the 7-11's and Family marts were sold out, found it in a Book store mall. It's a good map but some markers were a little off, might want to print out maps of important places.
Drink water straight from the bottle, all the restaurants I visited had stuff on the ice and you could see it after pouring water in the cup. The only time I had an upset stomach was when I drank a soda from McDonalds. Might want to bring some pills just in case. For money I had to change in the aiport for taxi and Hotel, the ISG forums said the exchange was pretty good but it wasnt. Anyway I had seen the best rates consistantly from the Purple Money changers, Siam Bank I think. Look for those in the Aiports too. You need to bring clean undamaged bills as sometimes they won't take them. Also 50 & 100 bills give the best rates.
The Sky train is confusing at first if you're not used to it, Hawaii peps especially. You need 10 Baht coins from the teller, if you don't have, then go to the machine and push a number 1-10 depending on how far your trip is, enter coins, take card and change if any. Go the the gate, enter card, walk through, read signs to go up the correct stairs, then wait or run to train. The waits are not long maybe 5 min. I never paid more than 25 Baht (#3) as I stayed near Nana station. On the train they have monitors now which show the name of the next stop as it can be hard to hear the speakers in a packed train. The Siam station can be packed when multiple trains arrive at the same time. Just be aware of the train line you want to catch (Sukumvit) and the direction the train to headed (Nut or Mo Chit)

Looks like Hawaiian Airlines now intends to start non-stop service between Honolulu and Manila in March of 2008. At least four flights per week, flying a Boeing 767. After returning I know I missed out on Angels massage and the Rainbow gogo's (thought it was a gay gogo's). Stayed at the Dynasty Inn Grand in BKK Suk soi 6 and Dynasty Inn Pattaya on soi 13.
Drink water straight from the bottle, all the restaurants I visited had stuff on the ice and you could see it after pouring water in the cup. The only time I had an upset stomach was when I drank a soda from McDonalds. Might want to bring some pills just in case. For money I had to change in the aiport for taxi and Hotel, the ISG forums said the exchange was pretty good but it wasnt. Anyway I had seen the best rates consistantly from the Purple Money changers, Siam Bank I think. Look for those in the Aiports too. You need to bring clean undamaged bills as sometimes they won't take them. Also 50 & 100 bills give the best rates.
The Sky train is confusing at first if you're not used to it, Hawaii peps especially. You need 10 Baht coins from the teller, if you don't have, then go to the machine and push a number 1-10 depending on how far your trip is, enter coins, take card and change if any. Go the the gate, enter card, walk through, read signs to go up the correct stairs, then wait or run to train. The waits are not long maybe 5 min. I never paid more than 25 Baht (#3) as I stayed near Nana station. On the train they have monitors now which show the name of the next stop as it can be hard to hear the speakers in a packed train. The Siam station can be packed when multiple trains arrive at the same time. Just be aware of the train line you want to catch (Sukumvit) and the direction the train to headed (Nut or Mo Chit)

They also have a decent pool. A little farther than Majestic Suites (around the corner from NEP), but it's right on Soi 6, which is a left turn off Soi 4. About a 5 minute walk. No walk of shame. No free breakfast but the rooms are new (I would say about 4-5 years old). Sorry .. starting to sound like a commercial. I actually get a free barfine for every referral (just kidding man!). The Majestic Grand has gone up to 3,100 baht or around $95 (per their last website update). I would say Dynasty Inn Grande is a 3 star plus.

The room is big, about 25ft. X 14ft. In room safe not screwed down, I'll bring my own screws next time! No free breakfest but free dsl in room and wifi in lobby. I couldn't connect to the wifi on the 7th. Floor. I recommend staying on the top 3 floors as the walk in showers are bigger and not a little corner shower on the lower floors. This is for the towers near the front desk and not the second tower across the pool.
I think the walk was about 4 min. To BTS or Nana. The Dynasty Inn Grande walk in the rain is difficult. If it's your first time I recommend it, free transport to Pattaya Dynasty Inn, which is near 3 other hotels White House Condotel, Lek Hotel, and Sandy Springs. If you don't like the Grande you could always check out the cheaper Dynasty Inn on the way to Nana Plaza, but they seem to be always full at night.
About taking ID's, they don't always do it. I think it depends on how the two of you look as a couple or if you look drunk. It's not really a problem, if you walk past the front desk after 2am the most people you'll see are 3, 2 girls front desk and 1 bell boy. If I took a girl off the street and not from a bar or business I would feel safer if she left her ID at the front desk.

I had a great time in Bangkok and hit several soapies and oil massage places. I took the MRT subway at Asok station from the main drag of Sukhumvit. Think of Sukhumvit as Keaumoku and Kapiolani all lined up in one straight line, with bars and massage places. Add in hotels, shopping centers, restaurants, street vendors and you get the picture. A bit of a slum look in many places, but the entertainment provides enough distraction.
I would highly recommend Poseidon, Utopia and Nataree as Soapy massage stops. Prices range from 2,000 baht to 5,500 baht, depending on the location and the "level" of the girls. Some get the "model" designation. For example at Utopia, there's a fishbowl on the ground floor with about 30-50 girls behind the glass. There's another 15 or so outside the fishbowl seated against the left wall. On the 2nd floor there's a bar, where the "models" are seated and you can grab a Heineken and take in the scene. About a dozen girls there. Remember, though, you snooze you loose! The girls can get scooped up very quickly, although for every girl that left, it seemed another took her place!
Nataree is a bit of a sleeper, as it is easy to find and reasonably priced at 2,000 baht for many of the girls and 3,000 baht for the high end girls. Some of the "older" models, 30'ish were hot! Take the MRT from Asok station and get off at Huai Kwang station. Take the Emerald hotel exit and walk about 50 yards and you will see it on your right. If I recall correctly, there's an oil massage section. Be sure you enter the oil massage section, which has at least 50 girls. Much better. For Utopia, you need to take a short $2 cab ride from this stop. Most of the taxi's know where it is. For Poseidon, take the next stop after Huai Kwang, which is Suthisan.
I had a chance to go to Ogoto massage near Patpong, which had been recommended. Had a great time there. It's an oil massage place and there's only 5-15 girls at any given time. You might want to check out their website and book in advance. There are some girls that are hot and most that are not. I had Donut and for 2,600 baht, we did the massage, body to body and finished with FS. See map below.

Next year, Hawaiian Airlines should start flying to the Philippines (their non-stop service is scheduled to begin in March of 2008). So if you happen to decide that you would like to visit the Philippines, you may want to keep an eye on the price of a ticket on Hawaiian Airlines before and during the introductory period of their Hawaii-Philippines service. HONOLULU, Jan. 8 -- Hawaiian Airlines announced today the inauguration dates, flight schedule and fares for its new nonstop service between Honolulu and Manila.
Flights will commence from Honolulu on April 14 and from Manila on April 17, 2008, with four flights per week. Ticket sales have begun on the airline's website and through its reservations call center, as well as through travel agents in the U.S. and the Philippines.
Hawaiian's Flight #455 will depart Honolulu International Airport on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12:30 p.m. and arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila the following day at 5:15 p.m. Return Flight #456 will depart Manila on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and arrive in Honolulu the same day at 11:15 a.m. (Manila is 18 hours ahead of Honolulu and the flight crosses the International Dateline.)
Roundtrip fares for the new service begin at $848 in Coach Class and can be purchased online at http://www.HawaiianAirlines.com or by calling Hawaiian toll-free at 1-800-367-5320, or in the Philippines at 02-860-2300.

Everyone has differing opinions on this subject, but it all comes down to what you favor. The places that get the most "Best of" votes are actually Bangkok, Rio and the German FKK's and not necessarily in that order. Look at the number of posts, and you will get the idea of where most mongers like to go.
You will pay between $60 to $150, for between 2 hours to overnighters. If you are average looking or better, you will also end up with freebies.

I read they are banning smoking in Thai bars and clubs starting in mid-febuary. A big reason not to go when other countries are alot more reasonable. If I did stop by, it would just be for a quick pickup and nightclubs would be out of the question.
Better to just go to the PI where the government still lets the choice up to the owner based on what the customers want.

How correct you are Thumper. The outside air quality is down right awful in Bangkok and they are worried about the de minimus little smoke from a ciggie.
BTW it goes into affect on Feb. 11th. No time to even plan one last trip.

When I'm in Angeles City (Philippines), it's been irritating to put on fresh clothes before barhopping and then have them stink of cigarette smoke only an hour or so later. Also, because of selfish smokers, any and all of the non-smoking Filipina employees in the bars (dancers, waitresses, bartenders, cashiers, etc.) are compelled to inhale carcinogenic chemicals in an enclosed area for many hours, day after day.

Just my $.02 but it would seem from the surface that a thread like this would be useful to mongers from Hawaii traveling to Las Vegas, or LA or whereever, that want to get an opinion and comparison from the people that are accustomed to the Hawaii AMP and / or Escort experience. Let me know if you ever get to Vegas and try her out. One of the things that I read in the sfredbook forums is that the girls that advertise services of $$/hr or more live up to their ad better than those that advertise services of $.6 / hr or less. Another thing is that I am not sure how reliable the ads are beyond the Bay Area. I can't wait to try another Bay Area kgirl in the future!
