Lex, I just had to weigh in on your post! Very well said! I agree with everything you posted. Don't get me wrong, I still try to show respect to a 'working' girl, because I believe everyone deserves respect. Besides, if you respect them, they respect you, (most of the time anyway), and you usually have a much more enjoyable time!

Thanks for the validation. And I could not agree with you more. I am always respectful to these women. They are performing a service which must take a toll on them on some level. And although they obviously get something valuable in return (our money), it is a service which we obviously enjoy. So I would no more insult or hurt or demean one of them than I would do to anyone else who performs a service for my benefit.
The other thing to consider is that you and I as mongers are inevitably engaging in an (unfortunately) illegal activity. So it makes no sense whatsoever to stir up trouble by pissing off one of these girls.
That's why I always say that no matter what kind of service you received, you pay what you agreed to pay. If you're not happy with the service, don't go back to that establishment or if you do, don't do business with a provider who disappointed you.
I just mentioned this because on another board, there has been a discussion involving a monger who was unhappy with the quality of service he got in an AMP. He felt justified in paying her a much lower amount than that to which he had agreed.

I haven't seen many that are really astute business people. Some are better at marketing themselves than others, but we are the target of the marketing and we have to always keep our guard up in that area. That's why we have and use boards like this, to protect ourselves from the ripoffs skanks and pigs.
It is the rare ho' indeed that is astute enough to not only market herself well but to save her money to have something serious to show for the years she spent on her back. Most of them get completely hooked on the flow of cash money in their pockets and spend it as fast as they make it, on crack by the $40 street **** or clothes, cars and high living by the $400 escort. I see a LOT of escort ads for women in their 40's and even 50's (one is either in her 60's or was rode hard and put away wet way too many times) way past their prime and should have retired from the game long ago, but who are still trying to turn tricks because they have no other skills or education and didn't save anything during their earlier years.
Most of the escorts make way more in a year than you or me. What they have to show for it at retirement is another story.

Why do we put one another's hobby down? We are fellow mongers and let us respect the method in which one another practices this hobby. We are enjoying the same hobby but choose different paths to do such. No hoe is different than any other hoe. As a caveat, I agree, please be courteous to all the ladies as it may be a courtesy that may be repaid to a fellow monger. I read on another board in my home state of NC where a fellow monger does his deed with the providers and skips out without paying them. Okay Sensualmassage, here is what I know about the recent rash of places in our paper.
I called Kayla's and I got an operator for escorts, I think it is same number for Art's Escorts that I have seen on the web. The Body Shop is also an escort place I believe.
Dreams, Elegant Moments and Secret are the same group; I think they just take their show to different places. I called the number for Secret Treasures and was given a hotel location to go to. I went to the room and there were three girls sitting on a bed. They were all white and the looks ranged from a 7 to a 9. They said I should pick one and take it from there. I think Dougie is correct, hitting up chicks in the strip clubs for cell numbers may be the best plan. The clubs, done correctly, have always been the best option in Memphis. I have had success but would offer these pointers.
1. Do not buy sofa dances first, in the hopes that this will get you the date, unless you really want one from the chick. Many make promises they have no intention of keeping in order to sell dances. Plus it is better to keep them broke, increases your chances of the score.
2. Generally steer clear of the top girls. They make enough money in the club. Go for the 7s and 8s.
3. Watch out for thug, hiphop pimps that enter the picture and take over the deal. I called two deals off on account of this, am not comfortable with it, your choice.
4. Make yourself a somewhat of a familiar face in the club, if you are a local. Spend time with the girl
5. Keep trying. Often they will not give you their number or it may be a bogus one. Most deals will probably fall through. But you are liable to latch on to a few good regulars. They will learn you are safe and loosen up and may truly enjoy themselves.

Ahhhh, someone finally cuts through to the truth. Some years back I picked up a girl on Brooks. When I made my choice for one of the girls the other two left the room and said they were going to grab a bite to eat or something. They had cell phones so if another guy wanted action during my time, I think they would have told him to pick another time or they would get a new room. The hotel was on American Way and Getwell. This is my first post, so please be gentle. Wanted to give a few reports on activity from last week:
First, last Tuesday I responded to an ad in the Flyer for in call massage. Was given directions to a location between G'town and Cordova and a flat rate of $85. Greetings! Quick SW update from last week's carousing:

Albeit, some of this info is a little outdated, but you are a sucker to pay $40 at PP. You can always negotiate a 2 for 1 or better. I've been the victim of the "game" at PP as well here lately. In the five or six times that I've been there, I've met one...read that again, guys...ONE girl that didn't play the hustle. Every girl in the place is out to get your cash and get out as quickly as possible. Now, before anyone says "that's their job and they all do it" let me tell you that's not the case. In some of the other clubs, the girls are much more real. They may not have fake boobs and Botox lips, but the girls are much more genuine in places like PTs, Christie's and Babes. Heck, even the Gentlemen's Club on Lamar, though lacking in quality, has girls that are much more friendly and real than PP.
I wouldn't recommend anyone spend their time at Platinum Plus unless you just feel like dropping two bills and getting rubbed on for 45 seconds. Try another club and spend a lot less to get a lot more mileage.

I have two reports to post.

If you are brave try Summer Avenue from the Paris theater east to Highland, that area has been productive in the past. I'm sure there are others more qualified to respond here, but for what I know...Lamar between Winchester and I-240 is usually good for your average SW. Brooks Road between Millbranch and I-55 is another but less active strip of real estate.
As are as strip clubs, it just depends on how much money you want to loose. Platinum Plus is the high end, upscale model girl type, but unless you're loaded, you won't get too much action here on the average. PT's on Winchester is you're medium class club, but can be pricey. For $, you can usually go upstairs get a hj and one hell of a dance. For those of those that have no morals, Babes on Brooks is the lower end of the clubs. Just about any goes there. As for the other clubs, I can't offer too much advice on them other than the Gold Club. It's a real quite laid back club with little to no action, great place to go if you want a quite beer, okay women to look at, but don't expect much more than that.

It's been really dead around here for some time it seems. Some days are more dead than others. And you're right nothing worse than a ghetto club. If you're looking for upscale, then Platinum Plus is your place to go. I have found that afternoons there are pretty laid back as traffic is not to high at that time. The girls during that time treat the gentlemen a lot better during the day. Even if you don't go back to the VIP, most are bored and just want to sit, have a chat and a drink. The late evening hours there the girls tend to get a little less friendly if you're not willing to fork out the dough.

I, too, can understand the need for references and work info, and I generally have no problem with providing it. Granted, there is a certain amount of risk for everyone involved, but their business is contingent upon (a) repeat customers and (b) a strong reputation for discretion. It wouldn't be smart for them to compromise the discretion of their customers since it would jeopardize their livelihood. And, yes, safety is an issue...perhaps the MAIN issue. Truthfully, most of the providers don't care who you are, where you live and where you work...they need to know you're not some psycho who feeds on vulnerable women.

The thought of references bothered me at first, but it does work to your advantage. If you are clean, a gentleman and caring - they share that information.
