Hi. Been cruising a bit around town to locate the SW action. Not too much as of late.
Spent some time looking around North Main Street/Hwy 21 (just south of the I-20 intersection) and haven't seen much of anything lately. More guys just walking around actually with nothing to do evidently. But have gotten plenty of service and opportunity for service there.

A little different in that there is no house fee up front --

Swore off the relaxation/aroma therapy places - not a good bang for the bucks. As Mr. Spiff points out, several of the AMC (new term - did I get it right?) here in town are very nice. The personals web sites that seem to have some action are - Yahoo personals and adult friend finder. Both charge for guys to send email. Not sure of the exacts.

Hey Jim! Long time no see.. Most of the local providers that I've had are found on the personals. Only problem is that the independant escorts are right at 200.00 per hour. The local daily, "The State", after a while of not printing any
"interesting" ads in the Sports section now is doing a few. Generally
these are for Our Place and LMR (under a misleading byline). The
local entertainment weekly, "The Free Times" is still a much better
bet for ads.
There have been several ads in The Free Times for a publication
called "Underground Columbia". Don't get it. It's completely
general and useless. The guy obviously knows something about the
Cola scene, but seems to have decided that if he actually says
anything useful on physical paper coming from a physical postal
address that he will get sued..
The Eros Guide website has added South Carolina entries (really
"Carolinas" entries..) and there are sometimes some Cola ladies
there. I haven't used any, but have generally found Eros to be a
class act (http://www.erosguide.com).

This is an Asian operation located on the premises of the former
Golden Spa (which was closed by LE). It's a pretty nice setup,
with new facilities including good steam and dry saunas. Of the
3 Asian spas in Colatown, this is the only one with real doors on
the session rooms, and the only one where the girls can be induced
to disrobe. The ladies themselves tend to be in the 6-8 range,
but usually very friendly. The Four Seasons is on Two Notch Road
near Spring valley, and is co-located with a Subway sandwich shop.
Take I-20 to the Two Notch exit, and head east. Four Seasons will
be on your left somewhere after Ryans Steakhouse (If you see Big
Lots on your left, you went too far). $60 house fee, tips up from
there.
VIP.
This is just off of Broad River Rd near the I-20 interchange. It's
in a strip mall in the same complex as the defunct Service Merchandise,
next to a karate studio. This is a class operation where $80 gets
you a first rate massage worth every penny. If you're friendly and
don't raise any hackles, hand release is also available for no extra
charge. I've never been asked for a tip here, it's a really nice
experience. The only downside is that I've never had any hint that
anything more is available, and the ladies always stay dressed
(though you can sometimes play up top under their shirts). If you
go in with an understanding of the limits, you'll find some really
nice, competent folks there. Steam & dry sauna are available also.
I believe they are generally open to Midnight.
Our Place.
This is on St. Andrews Rd, between Broad River and I-26. If you
turn onto SA from BR, it will be on your left, colocated with some
kind of auto service place, I think. The setup is basically the
same as VIP with the same $80/hour fee. They are now open until
Midnight.

This is a bit hard to find. Basically you want to take I-20 to the
US-378 exit. After exiting, head South. There will be a Waffle
House on your right and SMC is in the office complex directly after
it. Take the stairs on the south side of the building to the 2nd
floor. SMC is the first suite inside. I was initially impressed
by the operation here. It seemed that the girls were really shooting
for a high level of professionalism, but I have to say that the
last 3 times I've tried to go there -- well within their posted
hours, they have been closed. Anyway, it's an American place
operating under the standard Aromatherapy rhetoric. You pay $40
to get in and negotiate from there. I'm not sure if full-service
is available, but I suspect it is. One of the girls often there
has an incredible natural rack, which she uses to good advantage.
One slight wrinkle, they have a membership card system. You pick
a number which they write on your card (which they keep). In theory
this cuts down the "is he a cop"/"is she for real" dance at the
start, and also in theory lets you call and make appointments.
(Perhaps that's why they are open less often for drop-ins?) They
often have coupons in The Free Times for $20 off on your first
session

strip mall with a Subway. This location was formerly called Ambrosia,

it pretty pricy $160 for HJ, $180 for BJ. Haven't had FS, but expect
it would be $200, which would make it $240 in all. LMR advertises
in The State such that you think the name is A Much Kneaded Touch unless
your look closely.

quoted were outrageous. I think it was $150 HJ, $250 Oral $350 FS.
There was no way I was going to go for anything other than HJ at
those prices (and I almost walked out anyway). My lady was about
a 5 with very visible stretch marks displayed by her midriff-baring
dress. She took me into the room, I disrobed and when she came

a black strip club on Two Notch Road not far from Beltline Blvd.
The first time I went there, it was like the "we're all going to
die" scene from Animal House as I stepped in and saw that I was
the only white guy there. At that point I kind of froze in a "If
I step back out they'll think I'm prejudiced/If I stay here, I may
not be welcome" quandary, but it turned out OK, and the girls kind
of adopted me as a mascot. The music is rap, and the girls are in
the 5-7 range (with some exceptions), but they all have that "yes,
I _am_ a sex machine" attitude that makes it true. You can get
private dances for $20 and if you buy several all at once, there's
no telling what could happen in the back room...
Addendum March 01: I heard that there was a shooting in the Fantasy
Island parking lot. I have no idea if it was a patron, or related
to the club at all, and my understanding is that it occurred very
late/early (~4am), but I put that out there for what it's worth.
I have to admit it did temper my resolve to go back, and I haven't
been in quite a while.

This is a club on River Rd, which is what Broad River road becomes if you
take it south far enough to cross the river (and before it becomes Sunset).
The club is on the left, if you are headed towards Sunset. This is
nude club, and a pretty raunchy one. There is no six foot limit or anything
like that enforced; if you sit stageside, the dancers will put their pussies
right in your face. There are two more or less private areas. For $30 a dance,
you can go in the couch dance area. Your girl will ride you nude, with
generally quite a bit of crotch grabbing. Some girls will masturbate for you,
if nobody else is getting a dance at the same time. For $100 ($150?) to the
house, you can go into the VIP room, where you are guaranteed to be alone
with your dancer. There is only a bead curtain, but it works better than
you would expect. For a decent tip, and depending on the girl, handjobs
and blowjobs are sometimes available here. One oddity, because of local
laws, if you buy a beer at the bar, you can take it into the main room,
but if you buy a mixed drink, you have to finish it at the bar, because
nudity and liquor don't mix in SC apparently.

In the tradition of Spaceman Spiff, who has done much to raise the quality of posting here, I submit my observations on the hobby in Colatown. Of course, while my post may contain elements that coincide with reality, all events, persons, and such are completely fictional and offered here for entertainment only.
That said...

I went here and had a pretty good long session with a girl named Erica. She was all that was there at the time (excepting her security--never assume for a moment that these girls are ever really alone), but she was quite enough.
There are two tiers: HJ (I presume) for $170 and FS for $230. They are at least $70 cheaper than most places and I had a pretty good experience. There was no time pressure, she was professional and attractive.
They stay open late, but I think selection thins as the nights wear on. I think you're lucky if you find them there after 3 AM. Their ads have been consistently posted in Free Times, so you can call for directions and nightly offerings (and out-call services).
Satisfaction rating: 7 of 10
Safety rating: 9 of 10 (well away from public roads and LE)

From what I experienced and what Spiff experienced, I guess the service at this place is wretchedly uneven. I had the best time I've ever had, but I shelled out a ridiculous sum.
This place has a room fee (like $40 or so) and three tiers of service, with FS amounting to $300 (inclusive of the room fee).
I had a truly amazing session with Candace, an Afro-American girl with huge tracts of land, as it were (see "Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail" for the reference here, boys). She went very slowly (not a clock watcher), and utterly surprised me with a BBBJ! She went at it for quite some time, to my utter enjoyment. She followed this up with some pretty intense exercises (covered, of course), giving in to my every whim.
In this case, I consider my $300 well-spent. However, take Spiff's experience under advisement. You might be better off elsewhere.
They're also posted in Free Times, so call for directions and conditions. I hit them around 4:30 AM one morning. I haven't seen them open that late since. In fact, they may have been shut down (LE likes to eat at Waffle House next door).

SW action:
I went out and drove the city for about four hours last night. I only saw two and they were on the perimeter defined by Harden, Gervais, Millwood, and Taylor. However, and I cannot stress this enough, LE is out in force. I had a scary close encounter wherein I was sure I was gonna get hauled in as I pulled into a side street to make a potential pickup. The Gestapo seem to take perverse pleasure in breaking up potential encounters by showing up at the wrong time.
I went by the Farrow/Beltline intersection, but I found nothing. In my experience, Beltline is deader than dead.
Two Notch (from Beltline to Millwood) has SW's in abundance, but the quality is incredibly low for the risk. I'd advise against this area.
The only other place I KNOW has SW's is right around the Waffle House on the I-20/Broad River Road exit. There's a motel between Monterrey's and WaHo that the girls work out of. The few I've seen have been passable, but I have NO info on pricing. The risk factor is pretty high, though, 'cause LE hangs out all over. I've never seen them in the motel parking lot proper (though they have been spotted at the front entrance), but they do tend to sit at Appleby's across the street or at the WaHo. If you decide to cruise this section, I recommend that you go down to the light by Blockbuster, take a left, and circle around to the left by the gated community and post office to the access road by the motel. If worse comes to worse, you can use the PO as cover ("I'm just down here to drop off a letter!").
Satisfaction rating: 0 of 10 (I've gotten jack!)

It looks like the girls from Infinity/Beyond 2000 are back, this time as "The Image Center" (I think, I don't have the paper in front of me). I haven't been there yet, so this is just a surmise, because the ad uses the same clip-art graphic as Infiniti used to use, and the "attendent of the week" cited in the ad had a rather uncommon name, which matched the best girl at Infinity/Beyond 2000. The Free Times ad doesn't give the location, The State ad sometimes does, and sometimes doesn't. It's a bit hard to find. Take Dutch Square Blvd down past Dutch Squqre to the intersection with K-Mart and Schlotzy's Deli, and cross Bush River Rd there. Once you cross, Dutch Sq Blvd becomes Arrowood Rd. Just past the building on the corner (on your left), there's a driveway. This is it. No signage at the roadside, but as you go up the drive you'll see the building and an indication of where to park.

Visited Four Seasons the other day. Saw a provider named "June". I've seen her before on previous visits and I should have known better......
She has a pretty face and a nice figure. Healthy, natural tits and the rest of her isn't bad either. She does have a little bit of padding... but a nice overall package.

I checked out Le Randavous on Bush River Rd last Friday night. What a rip off! Prices were as follows ... $175, $275, $375 ... needless to say I walked out.
I tried to check out some of the other fine establishments but for some reason most had closed early that night.
I ended up going to Four Seasons (I think that's the name) on Two Notch next to Subway. What a GREAT experience. It was $60 to get into the door and you can negotiate from there. Let me tell you they truly know how to get rid of all tension and I spent less than bottom line at Le Randavous.
On a side note..... If strip clubs are your thing try out Heartbreakers. The girls aren't bad, probably 5-8 with one or two 9's floating around. If you like to drink this is a great place 'cause beers are only $1 and mixed drinks are $2. Girls generally play by the rules when it comes to lap dances but none the less it is a good time.

Finally went by The Image Center, and have to say I'm not real impressed. Was hoping to find my favorite lady from the old Infiniti days, but apparently she was not there that day, perhaps I would be more positive about TIC if I had seen her, as she is always sweet.

Hey fellas. Cruised Cola the other night (Monday, 3/28) at about 2000. Drove up (north) on Two Notch Road -- no one out. Looked pretty between Gervais St. and Cushman Rd. Went over to US 21/North Main St. A few black SWs out. One came out to a parked semi-trailer near the bingo hall area. I think the truck driver was parked there for a reason -- he was "checking" his tires and the gal evidently saw this for what it was. I'm sure they spent time in the sleeper.

After all the reviews, I am disappointed, for $$ I expected FS as I have gotten that in other AMPs in Louisville before where I am from. Be careful in Columbia, LE is conducting a sting operaton using female undercover officers to bust the johns. Yesterday one of the undercover gals spotted some dope in someones car. I don't have the number and address on me, but you can check out the backpages of the Free Times for the particulars, and I can give directions: Take I-26 to St. Andrews Rd, and exit westbound. Go up the hill, and look for a Bojangles on the left. Take the first entrance into the BJ parking lot, and proceed past BJ. The first building back there is Atlantis. They have a door alarm, but apparently it isn't very loud, because I had given up waiting for somone to come out front and was leaving when a girl poked her head out the front door and called me away from my car (apparently she heard the alarm when I left, but not when I came in).

I try to stay front-channel to keep the board as

Drive just across from Wal Mart. Used to be The Carraige
House. I don't think it's officially nude, but the girls

Tailspins building burned down). Don't know if the owners
are the same as TS. Easy to see from I-26, but impossible

This is my first time posting, but I have been reading for about two weeks and I have learned alot. Im new to Columbia and I was looking for a nice AMP to visit. There are only 3 AMPs in Cola. The one you haven't been to is Four Seasons on Two Notch Road. It is also the only "full service" AMP in town. Expect to pay $200 on top of the $60 house fee for FS.

They'll ask for more, but Candy and Happy have always taken this deal. Just stand your ground.
Has anyone got a better deal on two soda pops?

I went to Platuim Plus the other night. I thought it was a good club, but the women are not as appelling to me. A few people have been bugging me about the Columbia SW action, so I'll give up some info: the scene is mostly dead here, but if you look hard enough, and in the right places, it IS possible to score (if you don't mind sacrificing quality).
Stroll #1, Two Notch Rd. (from Taylor St. to the Toyota dealership): This is a well-known track. The problem is that the cops know it well, too, so they patrol the shit out of it. Don't expect to pick up much here, as the heat has moved the action elsewhere in recent years. Transvestites love this area, too, and it ain't that safe.
Stroll #2 Main St. (from Beltline to I-20): Another well-known area, but you don't see as much heat here for some reason. Those of you looking for WSW types will most likely find them here and back at Two Notch Rd. The selection here can be a bit sparse, so you'll have to be a little more thorough in your search.
Stroll #3 Millwood area (bordered by Millwood Ave., Gervais St. and Tree St.) Mostly BSW's here with an occasional WSW. It's a dangerous neighborhood, and cops love to hang out just around the corner while spying on you. Keep your head on a swivel here, guys.
I've also heard about Broad River Rd. a couple of times but I don't know much about the action in that area. If you decide to check it out then be advised that the area is known in some circles as "Copland". They call it that for a good reason, so be careful.

The areas around Dutch Square Mall do seem like fertile ground, but I don't know why more SW's aren't there: it may be because (read my previous post) you see a lot of LE along that stretch or Broad River Rd. I apologize for not being specific about the motel. I realized once I submitted the post that BRR could stand for Bush River Road or Broad River Road. The motel that the girls work out of is located on Broad River Road between Monterrey's and the Waffle House. For the safest route: Go down to the light by the Blockbuster, take a left, and circle around to the left (you will pass a apartment complex and a post office)which will lead to the access road by the motel. I've gotten FS from $20 - $40. Usually pay $30. Most of the girls look decent. Be careful because LE is heavy on Broad River. Please remeber - sharing is caring.

Refering back to some posts on Bush River Rd, I have seen SWs there only twice. Once a WSW on the sidewalk just past Heartbreakers towards Shoney's, and once a BSW just across from the defunct Bush River Mall just past Howard Johnson's.

I would say that 85% of any female foot traffic from Ho Jo's to Fuddruckers are SW. By being discreet it is hard for LE and the general public to tell and I'm sure its safer for the girls.

Somewhat surprisingly, Columbia's Platinum Plus is one of the best clubs in the country. (I say surprisingly, given SC's rather conservative reputation). Club is topless and has lap dances. With the right dancer, contact is quite high -- I've had two fingers well up the kitty a number of times -- and some dancers will try to get you off. I've never had any initiate a 'free willy' situation, but when I have gone in shorts, I have had reaching up the pant leg. Some people report more in VIP. My take is that this is a class strip club, but not, by and large, an 'extras' club.
Chastity's is the local nude club. Girls are not as classy as PP in general, but some are quite nice. Stage show can be pretty hot with spreading pink, but the real action is in the VIP. I always forget the exact price, but something like $150 + $20 bribe for the bouncer can bring you pretty much anything. I've had blowjobs there a number of times.
There are other strip clubs, but there is no reason to go to any of them; they are all also-rans. (I'm leaving out the black clubs, since I don't have recent experience).
The Studio, The Image Center, SMC, LMR and Atlantis are all 'relaxation' joints. Staff is generally white, though there are some latinas and black girls.
