Would any users be interested in crowdfunding a project?

Not sure if its appropriate to post this here.

I've been doing my research on how to start recording my own porn. I know what I need to do but lack the money to go through with it.

Would anyone here like the crowdfund a PornHub / Clips4 Sale page? Banks won't loan me money for the cause, so I figure I'd turn to the public.

Is it a good idea or a fool's errand?

My advise FWIW:

1) Your goal needs to be making money, not having sex.

2) You need a good entertainment attorney.

3) This needs to be a legit business.

4) Your idea needs to be unique. Or you need a fantastic star.

5) Marketing, marketing, marketing.

This obviously isn't something you could do a GoFundMe for (pretty sure you'd get kicked off). I agree with the other advice offered, especially in terms of what your goals should be, finding a niche / specialty / novelty that hasn't been done to death and / or have an insanely hot and talented star. I do think it will be difficult to find this as most investors would not take this seriously unless you have an incredibly solid business plan. Even then, the percentage of investors interested in this venture would be low. This board community isn't likely to be the one to fund this for you. If I were you I'd work on coming up with a different business of a totally different category if you're looking to start a business. So much porn exists online and the physical video / DVD market has been in decline for years due to streaming. Nice idea and I wish you the best, but unless you're incredibly serious I doubt this will pan out.
