We all know it's important to do plenty of research before contacting a new or unknown girl. I tend to go overboard in this area, which is probably why I end up pulling the trigger so seldom. Everyone already knows about the reports on this site, the other site, image search, social media and just plain old intuition when looking at an ad. There are also name and phone search engines, but most of the free ones seem to be crap. I did find a site that helped me determine the real name of a UTR I am planning to see later this week given her phone number, whereas none of the other free sites I tried hit paydirt. From this I was able to do further digging to find court records and social media sites. I also tried this site on some other numbers as a test, and although it didn't provide a name for every search, it did provide accurate carrier info. And if there are multiple people sharing a cell phone plan, I found it will display the primary name associated with the account instead of the actual user for a sub-account. But still useful once you use google or social media to find the rest of the relatives. Here's the site: https://www.zlookup.com/ I'm not in any way affiliated with the site and as always, YMMV.

Very handy OT. Thanks. Thanks, I'd like to be able to use this space for not only useful web tools but tips and tricks that any mongers want to share with less experienced guys like myself. Like anyone else, I want to do as little upfront work as possible, but it's a necessary evil for safe fun and to avoid lots of frustration. BTW, I tried the zlookup site again tonight on another number and it prompted me for a report which requires payment, but I repeated the same search and it delivered a real name on the second try. So if it doesn't deliver the first time it's worth trying to repeat the search.

OT.

Anyone still using burner phones to avoid using your regular phone number can save $ by using an app. If you create or have a gmail address, you can sign up for google voice and get a free number for texting (or voice even, if you have a headset). If you are mobile and have an Android or IOS phone you can use Google voice on it as well (haven't tried this), or my favorite free text / voice app, Talkatone. The latest Talkatone allows you to change to a new number instantly. If you text enough fake ladies, you will start to receive junk calls (although it's to a burner number so who really cares) or if a provider becomes too annoying you can simply change your number without losing any previous contacts / texts. You can also run Talkatone on an Android simulator like Andy or Bluestacks on your PC. I have a cheap burner phone but let the thing expire as I see no need for it now.

I have been using Text Free app but I can't just switch numbers without changing emails addresses. This Talkatone sounds very interesting!

I've been playing around with this new tool, which is free for basic people searches.

https://www.findpeoplesearch.com/

It won't allow deep digs and background searches without coughing up some dough, but you can get basic info like addresses and phone numbers, including past data as well as present for no charge. You do need a full name to do a search, so that's where Zlookup comes in handy. Still experimenting, but it seems like it might be handy in some circumstances without having to pay the fees some others charge. I'm not affiliated with this web site in any way.

I've found this site to be handy every now and then:

https://reverse.photos/

It essentially allows you to reverse image search offline content. For example, if you are texting a UTR either on a phone or text app, and she sends you her picture (s), and you want to make sure it's not fake pic (s) she sent. There may be a little work required to get the image into a file. What I do is a print screen (for computer text apps), then use Paint to crop just the image and then save it in a standard file format like JPG. Then I use this site to upload it, then click the Show Matches button to review the results. Supposedly you can do something similar by simply dragging your image file onto Google.com, then using normal image search. But when I try this, it seems to search forever without results. So I use this web site. The pictures are hosted anonymously and can't be discovered by other users, according to the reverse. Photos web site. I'm not in any way affiliated with this web site.

Probably most know about this one, but if your provider has been in court a lot, and has lived in the area a good while, the local county court records for Greenville are here:

https://www2.greenvillecounty.org/scjd/publicindex/

It can tell you whether she has any criminal background or drug issue, and if so, how recent it was. I've actually seen a couple ladies that had several court records, but one was just for traffic violations, while one had a drug arrest but it was more than a decade ago and she seems to have been clean since. Obviously for providers that move around a lot, you will have a lot more leg work to do. This is where Find People Search can be handy for showing their address history, assuming you have their real name, which is where Zlookup comes in handy.

Yeah, this and zlookup are very handy! Thanks OT!Thanks, even if a provider (or scammer) is using Voip, it will show that which can still be helpful. More and more providers are starting to use Voip to save on monthly phone costs, so it's getting harder to get a real name. And a few even use fake names when they signup as well; one provider I checked on tonight was using the name "Cutie Pie" with her wireless provider LOL.

Thanks for the tip on Zlookup OT. Very useful. Thanks, it's helped me hook up with a few providers that I might otherwise not have. I'm still looking for a tool that can help retrieve good background searches given a name and phone number, but the ones I've tried so far just match a name to a report, and if it's a common name you usually get way too many matches back.

One trick I've discovered to help finding related providers on BP is to use the keyword search with their social media link (you can just type a portion of it). For example, tonight I discovered these two are likely related by searching "JayDee", which appears in both of their social media links.

That second one has a great ass, if she's legit I may have to toftt.I agree, it's an A1 ass. According to her 'resume', she just started in the biz and she's got an 'extremely risky' rating from the site that ranks ladies, but that's because she's so new, has so few postings, and so few pics. I also found one of her pics seems to have been used by a Lexy in Atlanta, although that ad is no longer live. So that makes me wonder if these are really hers. She's using wifi (voip) so no name available to do more detective work.

Alright my mighty ass chasers!

Shall we start a new thread for BP alternative sites? I ponder if anyone has an obscure or new one that has popped up.

Alright my mighty ass chasers!

Shall we start a new thread for BP alternative sites? I ponder if anyone has an obscure or new one that has popped up.

Hole Punching. If you do actually find one, it's probably best to just create a new thread. But most of them seem to just harvest their ads from BP, so those wouldn't be very useful, except in the case where they archive the BP ad so you can find the provider long after their BP ad is deleted. I sometimes use this trick (bookmarking a provider's BP ad from a harvesting site) if I might consider them in the future. But most of the the time if I'm really keen but have other commitments, I'll save her data (pics, contact info, notes) into a folder on my computer.

This add-on has been a nice time saver for me because it allows me to skim the ads without opening them up. You simply mouse your cursor over the title, and the rest of the ad (including pics, if it has any) will show in an adjacent window (it really helps to have a super-wide HD monitor as I do, or possibly a dual monitor). Sometimes to get it synched up I've found you need to scroll to the bottom, then scroll back to the top at which time the script activates and translates all the ads for you. It may not be available for the very latest revision browsers (as with many add-ons as the author has to try to keep up with each browser release), and certain revision browsers may experience bugs. I've used it in Firefox with good success, but it's also available for Chrome. With the quality of BP getting worse, CL has helped to fill some of the void, but of course 99% of the ads are scams so you need something to filter the garbage out and this one is best I've found.

Sometimes you might want to save pics locally from Instagram (Instagram does not give you the option to save pics) to view later or offline. I tried this one first and it worked so I didn't try any others:

1. Go to http://www.downloadvideosfrom.com/InstagramPhotos.php

2. Enter the Instagram URL in the box, then click "Download Photo".

3. Next click on any of the "Download Photo" buttons next to the photos you want to save. The buttons turn into a link that says "Right click on this link and choose Save As".

4. Right click "Save Link As" and choose the folder you want to save a specific picture to in JPG format.

5. Repeat step 4 for as many photos as you would like to save.

This also works for video and audio files but didn't test this. I'm not associated with this site in any way other than I found it useful.

With FOSTA, you may notice you no longer have access. But the US data is still there, even if few new reports, if any, are going to be added going forward (hopefully a lot of mongers will start using this site for that). I always use this site first to check for reviews, but the other site is sometimes a good backup when no reports are found here. All you need to access it is a VPN, with the country set to something other than the USA. I am using a paid-for VPN (about $50 a year), but there are free ones out there. I just tried the free one I used to use (Touch VPN), and after setting it to the UK, I have access again. Touch VPN also allows you to turn it off when you don't need it. The free VPNs may not be as fast or have as many features (Touch VPN only seems to have about a dozen or so countries for example) but all you need is a country that is not the states so pretty much any one will work. Some VPNs like Touch VPN work as an extension to a browser so they may only work when you are using that browser. Another option is to use a free proxy, but they are less reliable and usually dirt slow, and the lists of free ones are often out of date so you may have to try a number of them before you find a working one that is reliable enough. There are browser add-ons where you can manually switch the proxy in and out because you may only need it when accessing sites where you need to not reveal your location, and turn it off for full browsing speed.

FYI, they have changed it so if you don't log in you get pushed off to a paid background check site when you search, find a match and try to get background details. If you are logged in, you still have access to the free background checks, up to 10 per month. I don't know if you get the same deal if you sign up now since I signed up a long time ago so perhaps I'm grandfathered in.

Some providers may be using unsupported picture formats in their ad, either on purpose to keep you from searching for online images or by accident (less likely since Tineye supports the common formats). Here's how to get around that. I did this with an STG ad but it should work on other sites also.

1. Click on the picture in the ad to select it.

2. Right-click on the image and use Save As to save the picture to your hard drive in a place you will remember and a file name you will recognize.

3. Right click on the image again and left click on Search Image with Tineye. (Do not use the "Is this picture real?" link in STG, you must have the Tineye search engine added to your browser.).

4. Once you get the error "Oops, something didn't work!" left click on "uploading it directly" which is highlighted in blue.

5. Browse to the location you stored the image file in step 2 and select the file you named in that step.

6. Click the open button and if there are matches you should see them now.

When you don't get a name from zlookup but it shows a real mobile or landline carrier (won't work with voip numbers), you can use FindPeopleSearch still to do background searches. You should be logged in (I have a free account with 10 searches / month). Since you don't have a name yet, just type in a random name. I use ANY BODY. If you know the age (from ad sometimes) you can enter it. Same with the state. These aren't necessary though and I usually don't enter them unless I get lots of matches and need to filter the results. Now click the "Expand Form" button. Enter the phone number in the field provided and click on the search button. Essentially this method allows you to search by phone number instead of by name and can be quite handy. I've only started using this technique so don't know what the hit rate is yet, but so far it's helped when I have no name and just a non-VOIP number.

With the release of FindPeopleSearch 2. 0, I find I no longer have access to my 10 free background searches a month and will have to pay to continue to use it. So I'm looking out for a new background search tool. It would be nice if it were free but there may not be any more free ones out there. Be interested in finding out if someone has stumbled across a truly free one, or if that can't be had, what are the lowest cost options that still provide good, reliable data?
