However, as ashamed as I am to admit it, Gina got me for $40 about 8 months ago. It was a rainy night and I picked her up late near a hotel on Aurora. I am fairly new to the sport. I've been reading this board for many months. While recently crusing and getting familiar with things, I was pulled over by LE. I was the only person in the car and had not made any pickups that day. I've been stopped for speeding, etc., before, but I wasn't ready for this stop.

The officer started by asking me the normal questions, like 'Where are you coming from?', 'Where are you going?', and I answered all questions as I normally would. Then came the question, 'Can you explain why your car looks famaliar to me?' (I had no other reason to be in the area.) I didn't want to go down that road, so I choose to say nothing, and I didn't answer any further questions. An awkward situation indeed.

The legal reason for the stop was a light bulb out. Of course, I received a ticket with no verbal or written warnings.

Any recommendations for a different course of action on my part are welcome (besides checking lights before hand).

Man oh man. That is scary. Are you black by any chance? If I had nothing to hide I would have jumped into his shit. He had no right to go into his line of questioning. The ticket was also uncalled for. They usually give a warning with an option to get if fixed first. It sounds like you got screwed. You were correct in not answering any questions. Never talk to cops. I have been pulled over a couple of times with ladies in my car. I have never been arrested because I never talk to them. I simply say that I want to talk to an attorney before I answer any questions. There is absolutely nothing they can do about it except harrass you for a few minutes. I have actually won a case where a cop gave me a speeding ticket. He followed me for over 6 miles before putting his lights on and pulling me over. When I explained this to the judge he dismissed the case. I went to the sheriff and complained about the guy and was told he was all ready fired. Cops are generally a necessary evil of punks and bullies. They have the same psychological mind set as criminals. For that reason you have to really adhere to your constitutional rights.

If you're black...get used to it. I'm not going to go into all of my run-ins with the cops but now that I've gotten combative I get more tickets.

It used to be that they would pull me over, check me out and let me go. I now get in their face and I ALWAYS go to the police station and file a complaint. I let them know this. Then I go to court and fight the ticket, I also make sure that they are to appear in court also. I'm self-employed, so I don't have to take time off of work to do this. BTW, in every case they never showed up.

Has it done any good? Probably not, but I figured if enough people do it, cops that have a habit of doing this will eventually stop. My scariest moment was when a cop showed up at the Bank of America ATM by the AAA stroll when I was taking money out. If you've ever been there, there are trees that obscure the whole area. The cop kept trying to get physical with me and accused me of being high on coke or marijuana (I don't do drugs...and aren't coke and marijuana different highs.). He kept demanding that I admit that I was on drugs and I kept telling him that I don't do drugs. He was very aggressive and kept saying things that I would've punched any normal person for saying. He could've killed me and said that I attacked him and no one would've seen a thing. When he finally let me go, I was so happy that he was gone that it never occured to me that he was out of line until days later.

Michael, I feel for you man. It has been a long transition for the past 50 years. I worked for the Federal Government at the Bremerton Shipyards. When I got promoted to supivisor I had each and every racist bastard that I knew of imbredded in my brain. With support from by superiors I was given cart blanche with engaging in removing them from the work force. I wasn't always successfull but they certainly were never promoted beyond a mechanics rating after I placed observations and recomendations in their files. Cops are another matter. I have extensive psychological training. Cops are by nature aggressive, outgoing and confrontational. They are tested for this by psychological exams and it is a requirement to pass a personality profile before even being considered for a law enforcement job. This is a serious problem for our future in America. We can't have wimpy law enforcement officials but at the same time we can't have scum bag cut throat criminals in charge of our LE agencies. Time will tell. More and more thinking Americans are getting promoted into positions of authority. The day will come. Sadly, I can't say that will be in your life time or mine. Time will tell.

A couple of pointers I’ve figured out over the years to be a little less conspicuous to LE while cruising. First off try to vary your route a bit during an evening. Don’t make the same turn arounds at the same intersections. Never, do the U-turn on the street your are cruising, even if legal. Make a turn at an intersection go down a block, over a block and then back to the main street. Don’t always cruise in the slow lane and four lane streets like Aurora. Chances are you aren’t going to get off the street within a block of the SW anyhow, so being in the fast lane make it look like you are going somewhere. Don’t speed but don’t go to slow either. As my screen name implies, spinning around to stare at a SW while going 25 in a 35 zone will draw attention. I take off and put on a cap once in awhile to vary my appearance. If things are slow, take a break, buy a bottle of water or take a leak at a fast foods place, or just park in a big box parking lot and listen to the radio for a half hour. On Aurora, I like to occasionally run to one end on a parallel street like Greenwood, mainly to beat the traffic but also to vary my time and route. If it’s 3 am and you are one of ten cars on the street, making repeated up and back drives will get you noticed immediately. I also drive a very nondescript car which helps. You did the right thing by just shutting the hell up when the questions changed from your equipment infraction. Don’t give them any reason to keep talking. Cheers, HS

My 2 cents says,

The Stranger is a real hit-or-miss proposition. You never know what you will get - real deal, upseller or a cash-n-dasher. Also, its hard to tell if a girl is fsbm or full service. SWs on aurora are a better bet and you can at least see what they look like BEFORE anything happens. I gave up on the Stranger ads long ago..

I don't know where you can find them, but from my experience with them...they aren't worth the effort of looking for them. Allright, I'm a new member to the board but have been reading all your excellent adventures and taking in your advice for about 6 months now. I generally cruise the area around Denny Park and the AAA. I do go by there right after work usually around 5-6:30 pm and lately there have been a few wsw working the area. Those of you that know her would not doubt this story from her. Don't ask, I will not tell. But I am writing this not with her permission or even knowledge. This is a strong arm larcenist and a kidnapper. I believe he was at a level of felony, not misdemeanor. Ridgeway and Bundy probably started out this way. He will most likely get worse. Bad enough to take his money back, but also stole the rest of hers. He is one sick stupid MFer and I hope is taken off the streets. If you see him and see any evidence of DUI, I encourage you to call 911 and get him off the street. Only if you see evidence of DUI though. Can't call it in if he is not breaking the law. Please watch out for the GOOD girls that we all enjoy. I am not being BSed by her. Scores of dates and I regularly leave my room to hit the head and never even think twice about leaving my wallet behind.

I'm just glad the guy didn't drive a blue import or I'd be worried about someone giving you my license number. That's a pretty tall order if you ask me. While we're out cruising, we're to keep our eyes open for an SUV whose driver may have had a few drinks?

I do understand your anger and we all hate to see a good provider get robbed or beat up. However, the sad fact is that almost every SW has a similiar story or twenty. It happens to all of them on a regular basis if they work the streets. I think statistically it's probably more dangerous to be a SW than it is to be on active duty in Iraq.

Also, even though I don't know the provider, I find it a tad hard to believe he was able to drive her around for an hour or two and not let her out. Most of the SW's I know would jump out the first time he slowed down, or be screaming rape out the window. I can see for a few minutes, but a couple of hours? Did she give you a description of the guy? It would be easier say to spot a white, black or Hispanic driving a green SUV for example. Anyway, you know that table with volunteers in the AAA stroll on Friday and Saturday nights? They distribute and formulate a "bad date" list. This is just the kind of information they would like to have.

I think what many of us fail to realize is that we (or at least the ones that are posting) are not typical of your average SW patron. There are many men with "issues" that seek out prostitutes. I believe this (amongst other things) is one of the main reasons why prostitution is illegal in this country.

Ever wonder why prostitutes carry knives? If everyone were like us, they wouldn't need knives. The SWs we encounter with an attitude (that we avoid), their attitude is most likely a survival mechanism. If they were timid, they would be raped nightly.

When I was in Peru last year, I screwed as close to a perfect "10" that I believed I could ever find. She told me that she didn't like to have sex with American men because they have too many hang ups about sex, will get angry if they finish quickly or can't perform and then try and beat her up (she then proceeded to fuck my brains out...because of our conversation I did hold back from spanking her ass though).

I don't believe any of us would actually attack an SW, but, believe it or not we are an elite group (I'm sure the people on TRB are laughing at that). We are educated (we can read and write), have computers and know how to use the Internet. Some of us can afford $1K digital cameras or video cameras. It's a huge mistake to think everyone is like us.

Awhile ago, someone asked about Russian women and I gave a few spots to meet them. Michael, Excellent post and I couldn't agree with you more. These women are targets for virtually every sort of scum imaginable. They stand out there on Aurora and get picked up by sickos, pedophiles, convicted rapists, sex offenders, guys with HIV, serial killers, you name it. It's funny that you mention blinders, I remember saying that a few years back. The only way I'm able to engage in the hobby in the US is to convince myself that they are taking the money home and feeding their families, or supporting normal living habits. I know this isn't the truth...but it works for me.

That was one reason why I enjoyed hanging out at the Redondo last year. Very few of the girls that worked there were supporting drug habits. The many that I talked to felt it was just an easier way to make cash. I guess if you look at the fact that they all were charging about $100 per hour and if they had a "normal" job they would make only $9-$10 per hour. It was probably worth it to them. Yesterday i went out from south end in Kent from south 260th and pacific highway s to south 272nd st to north end of Aurora ave n and 136th st n. There was few black sw at 6pm near taco bell at 272nd st south and pac hiway. Then i headed north towards Aurora ave n and near n 130th st area.

Hotels: The cheapest one I know of is the Aero on East Marginal Way. It'll run you about $30 last I checked. Most of the motels on Aurora will run about $38-50. Unfortunately there are no motels offering hourly rates. They all succumbed to extreme pressure by SPD to eliminate the hourly rate because they thought it encouraged prostitution.

Bing, I actually find Nicole somewhat attractive. I normally don't go for older gals, but with her I make an exception. Anybody get busted or witness any stings going on last night? I hope none of you is the dumbass that is driving the new Mazda Miata from Dougs Lynnwood Mazda. Last night, I saw this guy pick up a SW from in front of the 105th AM/PM. Last weekend was tough. Hard to believe you did a pickup near the 41st Street "Ho'verpass" (love that word, so appropriate) let alone a sighting. That area of Aurora, just north of the canal bridge, has been devoid of providers for several years now. This is due to the neighborhood being developed, the motels being torn down, and the locals establishing a block watch patrol. Yes... If you see people out walking in groups, wearing orange hats or vests, that's the patrol. Also be aware of dog walkers with cell phones.
