Drove through Clearwater on the way to a friends house and didn't see much of anything. An older black SW who looked very rough, and a younger WSW that was a bit too heavy for my tastes. There were 3 squad cars taking up the right hand lane near the shell station by the tax collectors office on gtb. They were interrogating a young lady who was sitting there on the bench. She was the only halfway decent one that I saw, which is why I'm sure they were paying such attention to her. Although, based on the community resources needed to "investigate" what she was doing, I was expecting to see John Walsh getting ready to interview her in the parking lot.

Was driving back from downtown clearwater after attending a Christmas party and picked up the lady mentioned below. Worst mistake. She was hot, has a beautiful face, nice body at first. Was gasing up at a station east of 19 yesterday about 6am. Major hot young thing walked out of the station and when she walked past me smilled and asked how I was doing. I found out the hard way that those folks control most of the rehab centers in the country. Especially the ones that report ridiculously high success rates. If you have someone going to rehab, you might want to try a different place, as the Scientologists do try hard to help, but since they don't believe in medications, they don't help bipolar people. An old friend I grew up with in Orlando went to one of their places for rehab, and the people tried to help, but they did not have the tools. Sad ending to the story.

Also, Myrtle turns into Clearwater-Largo road as you head south. There USED to be action all the way down Clearwater-Largo road to the 7-11 at 4th Ave SW. When heading North on Clearwater-Largo road, take the left at the Y where it veers over and turns into Ft. Harrison and run that up a ways. I used to get lucky from time to time around the motel at Wildwood and Ft. Harrison, but that intel is ancient. Haven't seen talent there in a couple of years.
I'll agree that Clearwater is pretty much dead, but if you're going to find them, those are the streets. Personally, if I lived in CLW and had the time and could afford the gas, I'd cruise down US-19 into St. Pete, keeping my eyes open for the odd SW along the way that might be out of the normal areas along US19 - and finally hit St. Pete and really start looking. That's where the action is around here these days.

Since 2000 Clearwater, a city of about 100,000 residents, has 13 unsolved homicides that it could actually be 'working' on. Don't hold your breath. William "Bill" Williams was 64 and collecting social security, but he was trying to supplement it with a job as well. He worked grave yard shift security at the Wyngate and was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Clearwater po po never caught his killer and that occurred on 9/17/2006. They made all kids of excuses as to how difficult it was going to be to solve, some of them legitimate, but they really needed to just do the hard work homicide often entails and shut their stupid, whiny pie holes!! I knew Bill and he drove all the way from Pasco for that damn job. As a reference point, St Petersburg with about 250,000 residents has 67 unsolved homicides during the same time frame. Yes, they actually make pathetic Clearwater look good!

Noticed mention of this on the st. Pete boards last night but there was a sting last night on CLW / L road.
