Hey bro you need to come back home more often. To answer one of your questions there are plenty of strip clubs in the area. Weirton is full of them just take a drive up route two youll find them. Wheeling has a couple, but the one I recommend is Jills lounge. Located on i70 Dallas Pike exit 11, they have a web site is is jillslounge.com

Went to Canton last week and cruised for about an hour in some of the worst areas and found nothing. I don't know the town at all, but by driving around for a while you can usually find something, but I struck out guys.

Tuesday night, Steubenville police, with the help of other outside agencies, hit the streets in a city-wide prostitution sting.
The arrests were made at Beatty Park, Seventh and University, Butte Street, and Fifth and South Sixth. In all, six females and one male were arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution. Wednesday morning, the judge arraigned:
Ronda Towler, 25, Shirley Hoover, 56, Annabelle Meto, 46, Maryann Baker, 41, Lawana Montgomery, 42, Delmar Cunningham, 30, all of Steubenville, and Racinda Grimm 31, of Toronto.
Cunningham, Grimm, Montgomery, and Hoover are also facing drug charges.
"They both go hand in hand you can work both at the same time and we're going to concentrate on this for a while, " said Steubenville police chief Bill McCafferty.
This is the second time this week Hoover has been arrested for soliciting prostitution. She, along with two others, were arrested last Wednesday in another sting operation.
"We know what they're doing. You just can't go up to somebody on the street and arrest them, these things take time. We get the proof and now it's in the hands of the court, " says McCafferty.
Wednesday, all of the defendants entered a plea of either not guilty or no contest. The judge continued all cases except for Hoover's and Meto's. Both were found guilty and sentenced to 30 days in jail.
Steubenville police said they will continue the crackdown on prostitution. They said more arrests may be forthcoming.

In defense of the SW's that stroll in Steubenville, I was back there during the summer for two weeks and found several SW's that were actually decent and provided excellent services for very resonable prices. I'm from Southern Calif. and I have no complaints about the Stuebenville street talent that I sampled during my visit.

City-Wide Prostitution Crackdown Continues In Steubenville
Monday evening, Steubenville police put a female decoy out on the streets and then put five men behind bars.
Officers arrested Bob Bostic, 50, of Steubenville, Nick Matko, 44, of Pittsburgh, James Caldais, 55, of Weirton, Ralph Vancamp, 40, of Wellsburg, and Jeff Siragusano, 43, of Richmond, for allegedly soliciting sex from the decoy.
All of the men are facing charges of soliciting prostitution and Siragusano is also facing charges for carrying a concealed gun.
Three of the five arrested appeared in court: Caldias and Matko pleaded 'no contest' to the charges and Bostic pleaded 'not guilty.' Vancamp and Siragusano retained attorneys who entered 'not guilty' pleas on their behalf.
All five men are set to be in court again on Nov. 1.

It's a damn shame they are cracking down now in Stuebenville. I was down there last week for a troll while I was staying at Wheeling Downs. It's a short drive up Rt.7, but well worth it if you are careful. I found Wheeling to be DEAD-DEAD-DEAD for SW action the days I was there.

I was out by the PGH airport today and traffic was so bad and Steubenville such a mess I chose not to make a trip. So today I was coming from Wheeling to Youngstown on Biz... didn't have time to search for the stroll in Wheeling, so thought I would check out Stuebenville. From memory I found the Save a Lot. My doc gave me antibiotics for both. He said the two often run together. After examining me and my description of the symptoms, he was sure that it was either clymidia or gonorrhea (2 most common stds). He said if the antibiotics he gave me did not help, we would do more specific tests. Within two days the symptoms stopped. So I know my doc was on the money - he is a sharp dude. Both are similar bacterial stds according to him and both effect the urethra in men. My main concern was I thought I would be ok, because I wore the condom during the vaginal sex. I personally know from First hand experience that Anna is Now safe and better educated. I took her myself to the Doc and to the Health Dept. These camera companies also have license recognition software availble for the camera setups that will log license plate #'s, I wonder if they will be using that.
I've also seen on tv where they have a product out that analyzes license plates for cops when they are driving down a road, they can analyze and check 50, 000 plates in an hour, I guess they are finding a lot of people without drivers licenses this way!

Cameras yes, they are everywhere but the advanced software and hi-resolution system needed to recognize and look up license plate numbers is very expensive. I hardly believe that the budget in Steubenville would support paying several hundred thousand dollars for an advanced system that can read and report license plates to cops on the street.
It may not do it automatically, but Hi-Resolution cameras are relatively cheap now. So, they probably don't have the license plate recognition software yet.... I think its highly possible that they have a few cameras recording photos of all license plates onto a dvr, you can buy a system like this for $2500, for later review.
What cost $100,000 today, can be purchased for $1,000 in the tech world. There is software out there now, for 2,000 that analyzes the video, its nothing more than optical character recognition software, that has been available for the PC for years
True, OCR has come a long way but to do it day/nite on the street would be a real trick to accoplish every time. I always try to keep a clear but slightly hazy license plate cover over my tag....buy a cheap one and leave it in direct sunlight a while and clean it with glass cleaner to haze up the acrylic. Works great and doesn't darkend your tag, just makes it a lil fuzzy.
They get around the Day/Night problem by beaming a ray of infrared light at the target, which makes no difference to it, if its day or night, or should I say, makes it a lot less significant. The way they accomplish this is by using a lot of IR LED's, same type that is on the remote controls of your TV, that the camera can see, but you can't. I think a mess of these IR LED's around your license plate would do the trick. Although, any camera could see them, including any cop camera / mobile unit, which my set off a red flag. Fued for thought.You're correct but IR LED's only illuminate about 50 feet, barely enough to cover an intersection or two lane road. There are some really good light intensifier camera that don't need IR LEDs. In reality, cops are looking for cars crusing around the block mulitple times more than a specific tag number.

Was in Steubenville for the first time and was on North St to eat at the Italian restaurant.
