I will be traveling to the El Paso area in May and I was hoping on learning the do's and don't's in your area. By looking at your forums here it's either very quiet in El Paso or you guys don't feel that you need to contribute any information that might help others. Not that we wouldn't like to have a little more fun here where it's safer, but considering that the world's oldest profession isn't really prosecuted with any motivation there, and it is vigorously prosecuted here, and that the base supplier (Hispanic, which the last I remember is over 75% of EP's population) likely feels more comfortable there, you're going to find that the best way to get your Willy wet is to trot your butt across the border and have a blast. We do have a small scene in the Triangle, at Alameda and just west of Santa Fe St in the old Fort Bliss area, but it's negligible compared to everywhere else that I've lived. We're really sorry that we couldn't live up to your standards, but, it is what it is.
So, my advice is, find a way to stash some money on you (bottom of your shoe, etc.) and just keep what you plan on spending in your pocket or wallet, convert what you're going to spend to Pesos (about 14 to the dollar last time I checked), and check out sunny Mexico for a day or a night. If you stay the night, I recommend one of the Manports, particularly Villa Manport. The Colonial off of Avenida de las Americas is really nice for the price, too.

If you're a seafood kind of guy, try one of the Villa del Mars. If you have to go fast food and enjoy Mexican, try El Taco Tote. And the scene in Juarez, while not the safest in the world, isn't as bad as it's made out to be. It can be lots of fun and very easy on the wallet. If I were in the area, I'd take you on a tour myself. There are three longtime mongers that I know of over there. Clydesdale, Xfactors, and Bbond all used to be pretty active on the sister board. If you can reach one of them, I can pretty much guarantee that you'll have the time of your life. They've been there since long before some of the old buildings were razed. The city is trying hard to clean up its image, but any border town will have a tremendously difficult time doing so. I've always said that if you give a dog a choice, they will rarely shit in their own yard. LOL.

Good luck.I have actually read this entire post steve, but seems to be mostly dated information. I have seen a couple SW around, mostly up by the cheap motels on dyer in the triangle, and one or two down by the stagecoach but nothing interesting as the guys who claim to have found a new hangout. I don't mind cruising around a bit, but just a heads up, CL has turned into a hotbed of activity if you are just looking for girls who need a little help, not pros.

I recently was in El Paso for a few days work. Didn't have time to acquaint myself with the city at all beforehand. But I was staying near the pedestrian bridge so I took a walk late one afternoon across the border. I was a little nervous but it was OK. Half a block inside Juarez a young woman asked me if I wanted a mamada. I turned to the left and found a bar that had a lot of chicas inside. Went in and one propositioned me right away. There was another attached building with some rooms. Pretty grungy, just a mattress on the floor and a sink. Not really my thing. Still I went with her, then headed back. Got back to the bridge just as it was getting dark. No trouble along the way.
