Thursday night I was out and about. Lamar was a setup. Cops in marked cars were sitting in the parking lot of a daycare across from the Gentlemens Club. The girls were just up the street within sight of the bluelights. I got the heck out of there.
So I went to Belleview. Didn't see anything promising. Brooks was dead.

I had a chance to cruise Lamar recently and saw one of the best WSW I have seen in a while. Madison, could she be your 9? I have also seen the blonde "9" on Lamar around Getwell. She has been out there many times the last few weeks, has stayed primarily by herself, but has been on corners with other working girls too.

Ok, happened to be on Lamar today near Getwell. Must of been payoff time for LE or maybe the wives aren't putting out at home... who knows. Anyway, they were there. Good news though fellow mongers. Here are the vehicles they were driving and their license plate numbers so you can look out for them as well. Both undercover cars:
One was a silver ford explorer. Looked like about a 2003 model. License plate number QXK-191 (TN tags obviously)
Another that pulled up later was a black Cheverolet Silverado that had a job box behind the cab. License plate: RQX-419.
Now, a note to the LE reading this: Please work on the real crime in Memphis like those crimes mentioned above. Leave the women and the men alone that choose to ply in this "trade". It's legal in many countries and even some places here in the USA. Now, I bet Rape, Murder, Burglary, Car theft and theft in general is against the law in every country, right? So, my point is: quit sweating two people that are involved in something concensual and help prevent the real crime (which by the way is about 600% above national average in all categories here in Memphis. Wake up call maybe? Priorities? Think about it). And then the mayor wonders why every one wants to leave Memphis. (by the way, I do live in Memphis). Crime is obviously just a part of it, real crime that is. Once you get that down to National average at least, then (although I think prostitution should be legal, to the politico's, think of all the tax revenue, ok) you can work on prostitution, but until that time, leave two people agreeing to a concensual matter alone. Sorry, Madison for your bad luck last week. You may have been prophetic in your advice to stay away from Lamar after the sting. Took a few passes from the Mapco to Winchester Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. and didn't see a sniff of an SW anywhere.
It appears there sting may have "cooled" down the area for the time being.

Good advice Tim about the driving. I change it up a little as well and also make several passes first. Couple of questions though that maybe someone out there can help me with:
1) Why do the SW's insist on walking in full broad daylight most of the time right on the busiest intersections where you can easily be spotted by LE? I mean, that's fine but then go down a side street a little so the pick up can be easy. In other words: Show yourself for a couple of minutes then go down a sidestreet. We know you are there.
2) I wasn't able to be out at 10:30 PM last night as Tim reports LE was on holiday. However, about 6:30 pm I was cruising Lamar and not one SW to be found... ok... so... now it is night time, a lot easier to pick them up... and guess what!? None to be found!?!? What's the deal? Are they all on dinner break at that time or what?
Also, around 1:30 PM yesterday there was a WSW about an 8 on the SW scale. blonde hair, parted in the middle, just past the shoulders, bout 5'4". Blue jeans, black top and a leather coat (just past the waist). Anyone know her or got her digits? I will not stop during the daytime. Too risky. Backing up Shadow Lord, I did the Lamar strip around 8 pm. Saw just a couple of SW’s, one black, one white. The black one looked better, had pink pants on. I saw her walking into the Mapco. Also saw a WSW, looking worn and strung out, at one of the bus stops.
There were tons of LE. I saw two cars in the lot near the strip joint. Three others had a guy stopped under the Getwell overpass. Also saw another LE a short time later with someone pulled over back near the Mapco.
With good weather expected the next few days, it will be interesting to see if it brings out the girls or LE keeps the heat on. In any event, BE CAREFUL OUT THERE.

Based on my experiences, I would say yes. There are take out opportunities at every club, if you have the $$$$. If you see a girl that interested you, just get her attention and talk to her. She will probably let you know upfront if she is available for takeout. Most of the time, however, she will try to get a VIP lapdance from you (especially at clubs like P Plus & P Rose). Don't fall for this trap. On the other hand, don't be too obvious because you may get kicked out!
The best times to go to the clubs are during the day shifts, Sun thru Thurs nights, and shift changes. Try to avoid Friday & Saturdays nights. The clubs are too crowd for me. Try the usual recommended spots: EL (even though it is on a serious downturn), P Rose, KoC, Pure P, Plat P, Christie's, & Gold Club. I also recommend the Gent's Club and Babes, but be cautious for they have mixed reviews. Stay away from Pony's (formerly PT's) and the new club near Tunica. I've heard anything good from these clubs.
Just remember that mileage, services, and rates vary tremendously. It's all a matter of personal preference and $$$ spent.

I come into Memphis on 78 around 2:30 this evening and sws were every where. There were all kinds wsw,bsw and hsw. I went by to see Honey but decided to keep going to see what else I can find. Yes, Paradise is right at the top if my list, along with Tasty. I've had most of the day shift girls, don't go in there much at night. I told her that the going rate in Memphis is usually around 50 and that was as high as I was willing to go. She then agreed to 50 clams and asked for me to prove I wasn't full of it. I had the money in my pocket and showed her.
At that point, the demeanor changed. She snatched the money out of my hand as she stood up from the (now open) car door. She then put her hand to her ear and lifted her purse up to her mouth and started shouting "Alpha Seven Niner, COMPLETE, Move in NOW"...Followed by "sir you should stay right where you are, you're under arrest! You should NOT be picking up prostitutes!" Still screaming into her purse, as if it were a microphone.
At this point, I turned off my car, and started laughing. I got out of my car, walked around to her side where she was still standing, screaming "Move in NOW, I'm on XYZ Street at ABC Street" She still was obviously waiting for me to get in my car and gun it. So I walked over to her, snatched the money back out of her hand, and said "Honey, if you're the fuzz, then I'm the president! And what you're doing is going to get you popped one day trying to fool people" (I used a few profanities as well, but I don't need to share them here). But I had to hand it to her, she still kept her act going, screaming into her purse as if 20 cop cars were going to fly around the corner at any second...
Lucky for her, I'm not a violent person, so I walked back to my side of the car, calmly started it, and drove away with a good chuckle. But I must admit, that she kept on going right up to the end when I drove away. I imagine she's fooled a lot of people out there with that one.
Anyway, she had brown curly hair, and as I noticed during her screaming, her teeth were quite messed up. She said also (and who knows how true it is) that she was just moving to Memphis from East of town, and that she also spends time in DeSoto County. She's about 5'4", and H/W proportionate. Probably Italian decent, but very "country" if you know what I mean.

I have had a few experiences with sw'ers and I was just wondering is it me or does this hold true most of the time. I have a much better time and get more for my money with a bsw. They seem to be brighter and funnier, and most of the time much more sexier than the wsw. And I'll also relate a story that happened to me on Friday. Some may disagree with me, but personally I believe there's a silver-lining.
First, the Channel 3 story didn't tell uncle LEO anything they didn't already know. LEO already knows the areas for SW's and knows of the board.
Second, the story advertised to every other monger in Memphis like myself that there's this awesome board for discussion of this hobby.
Third, other boards that have gotten this kind of "free publicity" have seen their traffic jump 10-fold, and I'm sure we all agree that the more mongers, the more information, the better (so long as it's all done safely and properly).
As an example, a "water-cooler" conversation I had with a guy at work on Friday brought up the story. It turns out he is a "wannabe monger" but not terribly internet savvy. And he also was too chicken to participate in the hobby because he didn't know the rules and what's up. So after he saw the story, he said he thought the idea of this board was so cool, he immediately got online to check it out. After reading the details and threads, he was so excited that he was ready to start. And I imagine within a few weeks, we'll probably see him become a regular member.
Sure Channel 3 presented the board in a bad light to the "general public". But obviously this site was never destined to gain mainstream acceptance so long as this hobby remains a pariah. I believe all it really boiled down to was free advertising and as an announcement to the rest of the mongers in Memphis to come check it out. And so long as everyone who uses the board does it safely (i.e. continue passing the "digits and details" in PM's to trusted members), then all that's really going to come out of the Channel 3 story (IMHO) is that there will be more people using the site in Memphis.
Face it, the story didn't fund the city of Memphis a million bucks to hire 10 more police officers to bust on this hobby. They still have the same number of officers and the same time limitations. That rinky-dink lame story isn't going to change the oldest profession. I read the below posting from Jon24 and agree that the spot about this site by channel 3 can only help not hurt. I am new to this site due to the spot, but been a hobbyist for years. I have been and still am a member of several other sites and was not aware of this site until last week. I am greatful that this site exists, and hope to contribute to the site and help the other hobbyists out there. The police know where the sw's are located, and its just up to us to be smart and know who to talk to and how to conduct yourself.

To answer your question...Most of the girls on Bowen were scared off for a couple of months because of a particularly bad sting late last year.
I happened to be driving by when a fellow monger (who obviously wasn't using this board to take advice on how to avoid the blue-light special) was getting cited. They made sure to do the citations right there on the corner of National and Bowen to make a statement that Bowen was "closed for business" at least for a little while. It was almost painful to watch because you could see the undercovers sitting there in the adjacent parking lot in their shiny burgundy undercover truck, just staring at the undercover sw. The monger obviously pulled right up, asked for it right there on the street, and 10 seconds later he was an unhappy camper. All I can say is that if you're crazy enough to bargain for it right on the street without doing the appropriate "checks", then you're just tempting fate.
Anyway, it was quiet there for several months. But as always, the places recycle themselves after Uncle LEO loses interest for a while. Things quieted down, things moved to new places; then voila! they ended up right back where they started, perhaps with a new twist.
I happened to be passing the area again today, and it was busy busy busy. Not actually Bowen, but some nearby cross-streets. PM me and I'll tell you where at least some in the same area are.

SOME publicity can be a help. I know that in the town I live in (an hour away in Ark) I didn't know that we had prostitution here until the local paper started posting stories about sw arrests in the police/courts section. They even politely gave you the street corners. Then it ran a two part story with pics of sw's getting to cars and again telling you what streets to hit.
The problem with publicity is that it could possibly, due to public outcry, make leo perform more stings than normal. And fellows, I know from a female friend that used to work as an office in Memphis, just because she gets in the car doesn't necessarily mean she isn't a cop. My friend played a sw and had to get in the car and nearly had to "do the deed" before her back up arrived. BE CAREFUL.
I heard about the Channel 3 story and the site, from Tony Brooks who was discussing it on his local sports radio program. So I thought I would look. I have tried AMPs and SW on Brooks and Lamar and have seen some around Jackson Ave. I would love to find a girl that I could just call when I am in the mood for a f. I was out and about yesterday near Lamar and Getwell when I spotted this wsw long blond hair, thin, looked like she may have been a dancer somewhere, definately an 8 on a scale to 10. She walked up and asked if I was LE and I stated no, and I asked her if she was and she stated no and showed me her left breast right in the middle of the road to prove it. She was still walking over the my car and stated the amount of the date plus the room, and asked if I wanted to date. I stated that why don't we talk and drive around a-bit to not draw attention. She then stated that she does not want to sit down and drive unless I accept the date. I told her that I wanted to take precautions and she got pissed off and walked away. A she walked away, I noticed that she had the word Pisces tatooed on her right shoulder.
Not quite sure if she was part of a sting, but I did not to take my chances. She sure did not want to move from that spot without a commitment.
I was at Picadilly on Polplar and Highland for dinner well I look out in the parking lot and theres a light skinned blk sw with a snake print matching top and pants out fit hair in a pony tail late 30's very well kept and I said wait a min that's her.. a lady about about a month and half ago,came up to my truck at cricket while I was waiting on my friend but she well dressed nicely madeup smelled really nice but gave me this story of how her and boyfriend were at bar across parking lot and he was arrested for assaulting her and she needed either a ride to little rock or 30 dollars to help her purchase bus ticket and she had 28 bucks or something I saw it. I told her i wasn't driving to no Littlerock but I did give her money for the ticket. I guess I should had offered to drop her off at the bus station. lol Anyway I thought to my self this probally bs. but I like to think everybody needs a helping hand and ya never know where you might find your self sometime. Long story short don't buy that B-tch a bus ticket lol ps. said she had to get home to her kids.

As it sounded, she made the offer of the exchange. And you were simply making polite conversation (you never said "How much for", did you?). Undercover LE will never make the first statement of this for that and how much. Obviously that's the game is to make you ask for it; to make you request it. That's the definition of solicitation. It's entrapment if they make the offer of something that's not legal.
But if she was over at Lamar and Getwell, then she was looking for a quick pickup. That's why she got pissed off. It's a high-traffic area, both for SW's and for Uncle LEO. They want to get picked up quickly before Uncle LEO drives by, and they don't want to have to "start all over" by hopping into a car with a guy that can't seem to make up his mind or might not have the funds. Then get dropped back off with nothing to show.
Anyway it's probably best that you didn't pick her up, if she is who I think she is. If you think she was impatient out on the street, you should see how impatient she is once the Jacksons are exchanged!

Unbelievable, I was in the parking lot at Wendy's at the corner of Polar and Perkins about 2 months ago and a female matching your description gave me the same song and dance, although this time she stated she was at Oakcourt Mall and her boyfriend assaulted her and was arrested and she needed bus fare to get home, or a ride. She even went as far to say the name of the arresting officer and security guard at the mall. After several weeks, was able to make a Lamar pass today.
Three SW's out: 2 white, 1 black. All were decent.

Anyone wondering why the SW scene is so slow in Memphis right about now, the reason is there was a COGIC convention in Memphis last month. Memphis learned a long time ago to do a sweep of all local SWs before the COGIC crowd decended on the city to save themselves a lot of embarassment when those preachers went out looking for pussy and got rolled and robbed and thrown in jail for various stuff. They just can't stay away from anything with a hole between it's legs. The SWs are all locked up and not all of them have not had a chance to bond out or serve their time just yet. Now the COGIC crowd has gone home things will start looking up.

I had the opportunity to visit your fair city for a few days over the Memorial Day weekend. Right down to the bidness at hand:
Came rolling in about 10:30pm thursday evening. Made a pass down Bellvue and it was crawling with BSWs.
