One big problem is, other than her chipped tooth I might have trouble identifying her. As I have said before, I only picked her up once. I know once she is in my car blowing up close I will have no problems recognizing her :-).

There is one girl that I think might be her. She is the one I mentioned a few posts back that has short hair. This morning she was wearing shorts and a pink top. I looped around when I saw her and she was getting into a car ... which she was driving. So this is the best indication I have had yet that she is the one and only CHRISTINE!

Other than her I saw a tall ugly WSW walking down Sprague. Not even a glimpse of anyone else. Who knows why it was dead ... Friday mornings are like that quite a bit of the time anyway.

I will probably head out later this morning and see if I can find her. I'll let you guys know if I do.

Ad and pics came from city vibe web site. I have no way of knowing the validity of the the pics. I suspect that like most pics, these are represntations and are not authentic.

What I'm interested in knowing from you guys who are in Providence every day, is it worth the effort of me driving down there to hit this place or is my money 1.6 (some are 1.5) better spent on the Chinese chicks up here? Or if someone actually knows that this place is a ripoff, let me know and I'll take it off the list of places to try out.

I personnally think the Koreans do a better job and I like the table showers that seem to be available only in RI and CT. Here there are some places that offer showers with the girls before and after the session which can be nice but not quite the same.

If anyone has an opinion other than the authenticity of the pics, let me know.

I haven't been there for about four years. It was under another name then and is definitely downtown, but there is more parking close by than there is for the "Downtown" AMP. Service was standard fare at standard rates, I'd go back if it were convenient but it just hasn't happened to be.

The other thread mentions that the "standard tip" is now 1.4 -- which is true -- but a lot depends on your timing. You can bargain them down early in the day/week when there's not much traffic.

I got her Saturday morning on Elmwood. She was just across from the Library, which seems to be her favorite spot.

She was all lovey dovey because I knew her name. She really is sweet.

She delivered the best BBBJTCWS I have had in quite some time! You don't get the WS out there very often anyway.

She did take advantage of my good mood and asked me to run her over to Brooks so she could get some makeup. Even though it breaks one of my rules, I did it. Then she wanted me to drop her off somewhere near Citizens Bank and on the way we saw her car in the middle of Elmwood. It appeared to have been in an accident.

I agreed to drop her off a block or so away from the accident ... but I didn't want to be seen right there.

Also, she tried to use my phone which was in plain sight ... another mistake. See how a good BJ will screw up good judgment. Anyway ... I took it back from her and said I couldn't let her do that. She was cool about it ... her exact words were "You've been nice to me, I'll leave well enough alone.".

Greetings:

I found Christine again this morning (Tues) accross from the library on Elmwood(same spot as SCD) around 9AM. She took me to a new spot for BBBJTC, and showed a lot of skin. She has a nice tight ass, but very small breasts. There was no WS for me SCD; She must really like you.

A few cities have set up cameras at intersections to catch drivers who run through red lights. These red-light cameras are generating a tremendous amount of revenue from traffic fines. That's why it was no surprise several weeks ago when the Rhode Island General Assembly said the state's cities and towns would be allowed to install red light cameras if they want to.

Providence Mayor Cicilline has wanted the cameras for a long time. He's already counted on a couple of million dollars in fines generated by red-light cameras to help him balance next year's city budget.

He may get more money than that. In Washington, D.C., a single camera produced $1 million in revenue. In one year, New York City's red-light cameras racked up $9 million in fines. People who think the cameras are great say it's not about the dollars, it's about safety. Most traffic safety experts say you could stop most of the running of red lights by simply increasing the length of the yellow light by a second or so.

The red-light cameras cost errant drivers a bundle. That's why American ingenuity has gone to work and already come up with a way to beat them.

For a couple of bucks you can buy a can of PhotoBlocker. This is a high-gloss spray for license plates that creates a glare when it's photographed. It makes the plate number disappear in the picture. You slide across the intersection all blurred like a Curt Schilling fast ball.

You might think that some states will outlaw the sale of PhotoBlocker. You're probably right. They did that in Illinois, however, and sales went through the roof. A lot of drivers never heard of the spray until it was outlawed. Then they all wanted it. People are finding out about PhotoBlocker on the Internet.

Just don't tell anybody that you heard about this stuff from me.

Rustoleum sells a spray product that I think would do the same thing to your plate as photo blocker. It is SUPPOSED to be used to make a painted surface reflective at night, but be transparent during the day. I have not tried it, but have seen it at home depot.

Yours Truly plans on buying some of this Photo·Blocker® Stuff ; applying it to my plates ; and then deliberately running a Red Light Camera to see what happens

Every time these cameras are newly installed in a City , there's a thirty day or so *Warning Period* . During this period , you only get mailed a Warning Notice — no Fines or DL Points . So if the Stuff doesn't work , I can always say I was only in So·Pro to 'Test' the product

First report for RI but a good one. Thanks to some advise here I found some good places while I am on business in Boston. Thank you to all that post. I like AMPs because they are private enough and not as expensive as most Escorts.

Last I saw Leah was about a month ago. She told me she was planning on moving to Warwick and "take a break" for a while. Then I saw her out and about almost everyday for the next week, then "poof" gone. After meeting with Sarah a few weeks back we made arrangements for another meet the following week. Never showed, haven't seen her since, another one gone "poof". I realize setting an appt. is hit or miss at best but I was there just in case. Tiffany in front of AZ was a surprise, great skills but no cim, rather cof at her request. Gave me her digits and those for her sister, neither worked. Heather at the DD was another surprise, said she there most days but haven't seen her again in over a week.

Thanks for the report guy. I am curious as to where you hail from. Having been to DT and the multitude of other AMP's on a number of occasions (recently) I have been able to talk the ladies down to 1.2 and no further. I am 'surprised' you were able to talk them down to 1.0. You must have hit a really slow day or.... Anyway the 1.2 to 1.4 has been the stable price here now for the last year or so. I find it interesting to note you thinking you will be able to get it down to .8 or even .6 even if you were a regular. I wouldn't hesitate to guess that since you have been there once the next time you will get the 1.4 offer and no less. Yes they tend to remember the clients so the 'discount' lasts once! I was out cruising sunday 11am till it rained. First I saw 3 WSW's at the playground behind the AZ. It turned out to be Alicia, and another very fat WSW in shorts, plus Jen. I've been with Jen on and off since 2002, the last time I saw her was early 2004, she didn't look very appealing. Alicia came to the car and quoted $50 for BJ, which I politely declined. The fat SW was shouting that if I wanted wanted any of the 3, I'd have to take her too!! very weird.

I ended up getting FS from Letisha a young BSW near the Walgreens. I found Shannon on Sunday night around 11:00pm.

She was on Elmwood right by Exit 16. That's the furthest down Elmwood I have ever seen a girl. She was headed towards the regular area ... I think she was just starting her shift.

As for the Mystery = the only reason I was out cruising in the first place is because Jo·Elle has vanished in·to thin air

According to the guy she lives with in N Prov , he went out Sunday after·noon and she stayed behind with plans to cook up a bunch of food [ she's a very good cook and even bakes cakes from scratch ]

.... but when he got home later , she was *gone* , and he hasn't seen her since . Nor has her pal in O·ville Lenny ; nor has any·one else that knows her

And , un·characteristically , she hasn't called him on his cell and didn't leave a note behind

And she hasn't been arrested & remanded , either [ I checked that out first thing because I would definitely Bail her out if it was possible ]

The weird thing is = she doesn't have a vehicle . And while there are a few retail businesses with·in walking distance of her place , that doesn't explain over 48 hours of absence

If she doesn't turn up soon , I'm gonna be forced to contact her family [ she's from Coventry and also has kin in Portsmouth ] , but , boy! , I sure don't want to be the one to inform them that's she's missing

My only Consolation is that she's pulled this before = one time dis·appearing for over six weeks while on a Drug Bender [ although she *swore* she's off the hard stuff for good ]

I KNOW that she has a Private Client List and so if any·one here has ANY Idea about where she is , could you PM me , please , for my own peace of mind . Thanx

I sure did. The number is unverified at this point. I have tried calling it, oh about 100 times in the past two days and get that stupid ass "The customer you have dialed is unavailable ...". This generally means the phone is out of minutes or off. This happens to me just about every time I get a number from a girl and I'm pretty sick of it.

Between 10:30 and 11:45 there were LE everywhere, 3-4 alone were crusing elmwood, they had a guy pulled over for a good 20 minutes, some other LE was doing rounds around the AZ, another was doing rounds around Manton / Valley, one was hiding out at Olney. Did any of you guys see them? Was there something going down tonight?

I cannot recall seeing so much LE as today. I know some say Tues/Thurs are supposed to be notorious for LE but my experience has shown they're not much different from any other day. Atwells, near the top of the hill, wsw, real nice looker that I haven't seen before, shortish brown hair,black top, off white slacks. Saw her near the church, I turned around and she's going into the store on the corner. She turned around and saw me then shook her head "no". Maybe not a sw? Then noticed a brown Taurus, 2 guys with whitewall haircuts on opposite side of street.Time to leave. On Westminster near the convenience store, the ruby slipper, the red Taurus in front of a silver car boxed in by big black Ford SUV. 4 uc cuffing a guy. Monger?? Elmwood. Was there a PD parade today?? Everywhere. Saw my friend in the black Grand Prix near AZ. Definatly time to leave.

Sounds like you've now 'experienced' Detective's Day here in LaProv , Gansett

It was a WSW who told me this nick·name for Tuesdays & Thursdays here ; and back when the Pro·Jo published the Providence Police News , the over·whelming majority of arrests for Solicitation & John Stings occurred on these two days of the week

That's not to say every Tues / Thurs is LE·heavy , but if yer gonna take a day off from our Hobby , these are the days to stay home

My first experience in Prov was in 1978, I turned off Elmwood onto Moore, stopped to check an address ( I was working) and "Cindy" came up and hopped into my car. Surprised the he77 out of me as I wasn't looking, heck I didn't even know where to look back then, took me to her place, best 5 bucks I ever spent. Yes, 5 bucks.

Back then Pine and the street that runs beside it, Broad, Elmwood, & Cranston st. were the spots to look. But if you couldn't find it between Harrys and Scarpetti's it wasn't around. With the same type of weather we've had lately it would not be uncommon to see 5, 7 10 sw out there on just that strecth of Elmwood, 24/7. Smith, Chalkstone and Douglas were good hunting areas also.

The quality has decreased, what's being considered 6's,7's and 8's today would be 1's and 2's then. No disrespect to those out there working today but they wouldn't have made it back then. Today they're too hopped up, a bit fugly, demanding(wanting rides all over),poor service etc. Back then the customer came first,,
In all this time I only met face to face with uc twice. First time going down Elmwood with a cutie with the top down, how dumb is that? Second time with Sarah over near the Coke plant a couple of summers ago. Let go both times. (WHEW)

PZ, I don't post anywhere near the amount you do, but I do read alot. Think it was on the Boston board a while back that someone wrote about trying to keep prices down. Paying or giving .70 for a "toothy and rushed" is leading to what another poster here stated, that a sw behind AZ quoted .50. Regardless of what they say they are more concerned over what's in your wallet than you. You can't rehab them, I know, I tried, with several.

Don't mean to start a flame war or ruffle feathers, after all it's your $, but IMO .70 was way too much.

PROVIDENCE -- Dismissing the advice of its lawyer, the city Board
of Licenses has voted 2 to 1 to award a full liquor license to the
Cadillac Lounge strip club.

Lawyer George J. West, who served as special counsel for the case,
advised the board that it was not free to award the license because
of the city's prohibition on liquor sales at adult entertainment
venues.

Board members Joan Badway -- who is chairwoman of the Democratic
City Committee -- and Stephen Daniels nevertheless voted for the
license on Wednesday. Board Chairman Andrew J. Annaldo dissented.

The decision chagrined residents in the North End, where the lounge
is located, at 361 Charles St.

City Councilwoman Carol A. Romano and some citizens have fought
against the adult entertainment use as well as the Cadillac
Lounge's serving of liquor.

The Cadillac Lounge has long been in a legal tangle with the city
government and residents.

In recent years, the lounge has operated as a BYOB establishment
with the grudging acquiescence of city officials.

The board essentially decided it was powerless under the law to
stop the lounge from encouraging patrons to bring their own drinks
and have lounge staff pour it for a charge.

If the latest board decision stands, said city license
administrator Richard H. Aitchison, the lounge would be free to
prepare and serve its own beer, wine and mixed drinks.

Anyone aggrieved by the board's decision has 10 days to appeal,
according to Aitchison. City officials are considering it.

City Solicitor Joseph M. Fernandez acknowledged yesterday that the
Law Department is analyzing whether the executive or legislative
branch of government, or both, can appeal the decision, even though
the board is part of municipal government.

Fernandez said he is not free to say which city officials are
interested in an appeal.

Depending on the stated rationale for an appeal, it would either be
taken to the state Department of Business Regulation or to Superior
Court.

The decision to award the liquor license follows board decisions
this year to reconsider a previous rejection of the same license
request and then to void the previous rejection.

All city boards and commissions are represented by the Law
Department, but in a rare departure, Fernandez retained West, an
outside lawyer, to advise the Board of Licenses on the Cadillac
Lounge case.

Fernandez said he did so at the request of the board when it
decided last spring to reconsider its previous rejection of the
liquor license.

When the license was rejected, the Law Department's advice was
similar to West's: The board is bound by a city ordinance
prohibiting adult entertainment enterprises from selling alcoholic
beverages.

Given the Law Department's stated position and the board's
inclination to act contrary to that advice, the board asked
Fernandez to arrange for another lawyer. He agreed and retained
West.

Despite the ordinance, some adult entertainment venues continue to
serve alcohol, because they were in business before the ordinance
took effect and have grandfather rights to operate unimpeded.

One board member who voted to reverse and then to void the board's
previous rejection of the Cadillac Lounge liquor license, Arline
Feldman, was absent for Wednesday's meeting.

The fifth board member, Arys Batista, recused himself Wednesday
because he did not participate in the original hearing of the case
that led to Wednesday's decision, Aitchison reported.

The license approved for the lounge is a transfer from DUH Inc. to
Cadillac Lounge LLC. DUH Inc. owned the license on behalf of Mama's
Metro Cafe, a downtown bar that no longer exists.

The sole stockholder of Cadillac Lounge LLC is Nancy Shappy, wife
of Richard Shappy, who also is the proprietor of the Satin Doll
strip club downtown and a distributor of adult entertainment videos
and other materials.

I just saw a news report on the Providence Fox station about a big john sting that was done this week. Since it is on the news tonight, I am guessing that the stings were yesterday (Thursday). This also would explain the posts here about heavy UCLE presence along the usual areas.

According to the boob tube, LE was using female decoys. I hope none of you got caught.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Police in Providence have begun cracking down on prostitution houses disguised as massage parlors, but some spa owners say they are being unfairly targeted.

"Today, I been here whole day, OK, and only one customer come in," said "Kim," a masseuse at the Bally Day Spa in downtown Providence. She said business has come to a standstill following a police raid.

Police believe a loophole in the state's prostitution law (search) that criminalizes only cash-for-sex outdoors keeps them from putting the cuffs on a thriving sex industry hiding in the massage therapy business.

"It's a big problem in the inner cities [and] large cities," said state Rep. Joe Moran (search).

Moran, who is also police chief of Central Falls, co-authored a bill that requires all massage parlor employees to be licensed massage therapists and submit to extensive criminal background checks.

"If they have a past record of any sex offenses they won't be able to get a license to begin with," Moran said.

"Lily," the manager of the Midori Spa, believes police should keep their hands off the massage industry. Her business, which she insists is free of prostitution, was also targeted by police.

"They have to do their job, but they cannot change the laws. They have to follow the law," she said.

Rhode Island's American Civil Liberties Union (search), which fought previous legislation it said unfairly targeted prostitutes, blames lack of enforcement of the current laws. Steven Brown, the chapter's head, believes the new bill only hurts legitimate massage therapists.

"All this bill is doing is really targeting the wrong people. It's targeting innocent professionals. And it won't have any effect whatsoever on the illegal prostitution trade," Brown said.

Moran says his bill is simply a starting point. It remains to be seen if the bill, which still awaits the governor's approval, will do anything to close the loophole in the state's prostitution law.

I got the story right, PZ. They showed a close up of the intersection of Bucklin and Carter, and some blurred shots of women walking down the street. I believe there may have been a reference to Olneyville as well. They also had a sound bite from a PPD officer who said something about "the publicity from these arrests helps to deter this kind of activity". Of course, they neglected to say how showing people exact streets only serves to:

A: Tip off us well-informed mongers. Now we know when and where to be careful!

B: Let mongers who aren't sure where to cruise in Providence know where the action is.

I didn't look for the story on the internet, but you can check the web site of WPRI or WNAC -- it may be there. I also saw no mention of this in today's Journal.

I saw a rerun of Friday night's news, on Saturday morning. According to Providence's finest, they arrested 29 "John's to be". And the arrests were on Elmwood, Bucklin and Manton amongst other streets. They didn't say exactly when the sting was done.

PROVIDENCE -- Police detectives have arrested 29 men who they say were looking for prostitutes in the West End and Olneyville.

The men were snared by four policewomen posing as streetwalkers over 11 hours Thursday morning and evening, the police said Friday.

"We've met with the community concerning the prostitution problem, and we're working with them to address it," said Lt. Thomas A. Verdi, commander of the Police Department Narcotics and Organized Crime Division.

"I'm confident that in the short term anyway, [the community will] certainly see a noticeable difference. We'll continue to be vigilant."

The arrests follow a series of arrests of prostitutes a few weeks ago. On one morning, according to Verdi, officers arrested 10 prostitutes in an hour.

Patrol Officers Michele G. Rudolph, Donna L. Therien, Michele A. Tella and Elizabeth A. Wajda served as decoys Thursday, waiting for men to approach them and offer money for sex acts. Each decoy was backed by at least seven officers, who waited to make each arrest on a prearranged signal.

The decoys were dressed in nothing more provocative than the kind of attire local prostitutes wear: tank tops, jeans or jean shorts.

"They were pretty plainly dressed. . . . No knee-high leather boots," Verdi said.

The arrests were centered in the vicinity of Bucklin and Carter streets in the West End and near Manton Avenue and Delaine Street in Olneyville.

New faces put me in a very cautious mode, I'd like to see them picked up and delivered back before I approach. Hey, it's worked for me so far.

I was wondering what effect this would have on the regular sw but it appears PZ found one Sunday. I swung down E'wood Saturday around 2, zip,zilch,nada. Not even Leah was out.

I did notice last Thursday that while cuffin' & stuffin' a guy there was at least 4 uc le, 2 doing the work, the other 2 watching the cars go by, like they were looking for the next likely suspect.

My sixth sense has treated me pretty good, if I'm cruising and see the same le twice, especially if I see he's noticed me, I leave. Call me paranoid if you will but I've only had 2 encounters with le in 27+ years.

Before I had a nondescript vehicle, I could drive by you a dozen times and you probaly wouldn't notice, it blended in. I just recently bought a new one, it definately stands out, I now do one "circuit" and leave.

They're not making it easy,

That was my thought right away. I can't honestly believe there are 29 guys out there, especially the one they listed as being 72, that don't know better. I'm not suggesting LE put this story out there to scare us off ... but it sure wouldn't surprise me.

I wish the ACLU would actually monitor the cops in these stings and ask for hard evidence. If the cops don't have any audio/video of the conversation, the judge should throw out every single goddamned case - because if they don't have audio of the conversation with the decoy, it is simply because they don't want audio. It's that simple.

So tomorrow, I am writing the police chief and the local ACLU asking if there were any audio/video recordings of the conversations when those 29 arrests were made. If not, I will make the suggestion that they use audio and video devices from now on. I really want this on the record; not as much for that sting as it is for future stings. I will CC that letter to a few other people too (with a fake name, of course). This stuff scares the shit out of me. I can handle getting caught for actually picking up a chick, but I don't want to find my name in the paper because I stop and ask a girl if she needs a ride.

Probably with violating RIGL Title 11 , Section 11-34-8.1 =

§ 11-34-8.1 Soliciting from motor vehicles for indecent purposes. – (a) It shall be unlawful for any person, while an operator or passenger in a motor vehicle to stop, or attempt to stop another vehicle or pedestrian, or to engage or attempt to engage persons in another vehicle or pedestrians in conversation, for the purposes of prostitution or other indecent act, or to patronize, induce, or otherwise secure another person to commit any indecent act. Any person found guilty under this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six (6) months and by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000).

(b) Any person found guilty of a subsequent offense under this section shall be subject to imprisonment for a term of not more than one year and a fine of not less than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750) nor more than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500). No fine imposed under this section may be suspended.

Note that there's a Vehicle Forfeiture Law here in Li'l Rhody , too , which turns these Sting Ops in·to huge Cash Cows for LE =

§ 11-34-8.2 Forfeiture of motor vehicles. – (a) The motor vehicle being unlawfully operated as defined in § 11-34-8.1 by a person convicted of a second or subsequent offense of soliciting from a motor vehicle for indecent purposes pursuant to § 11-34-8.1, which vehicle is owned by the operator, may be seized by the law enforcement agency and forfeited at the discretion of the court.

(b) Property taken or detained under this section shall not be repleviable, but shall be deemed to be in the custody of the law enforcement agency making the seizure. The seizing agency shall sell the vehicle and grant the proceeds to the governor's justice commission for the purposes of rehabilitation and job training of those found guilty of prostitution and who are imprisoned. The seizing agency may retain ten percent (10%) of the proceeds of the sale up to a maximum of one hundred dollars ($100), for the purposes of the administration of the sale.

Ok, on to explain the title of my post.

This morning I saw no less than 8 girls. Most of which I did not recognize.

Girl #1 was a skinny BSW in a pink mini-skirt who was staggering all over the road. I can't believe LE didn't snatch her up and arrest her. She yelled at me as I was driving by her and I barely even gave her a glance. This type of behavior really turns me off.

Girl #2 was wearing a turquoise top, hair in a pony tail. She was probably 5'2" or so, nice build and cute. She looked young ... maybe 19 or 20. She was VERY tempting but I passed. I haven't seen her before and I'm really not in the mood to find out the hard way that she is a decoy.

Girl #3 was wearing a pink top, black jogging pants. She was probably 5'5". She had long blond hair and a tattoo on her arm ... I think it was the left. She was built very nice and would have been a good little cowgirl I'm sure. Again, I had to pass because I have never seen her and as many times as I spotted her I never saw anyone pick her up or drop her off.

I won't detail the rest of them ... the ones I recognized were ones I wouldn't pick up anyway, the additional ones I did not recognize very well could have been legit but for one reason or another I didn't grab them.

If anyone has real info on any of the ones I did mention, please share.

I think I'm going to keep trying to find Shannon. I still haven't been able to verify those damn digits. Once I do, I promise I'll share them.

This moring was much more quiet than yesterday. I saw a girl I recognized walking down Hawthorne. Then I saw her Elmwood, then Carter. She was looping around. I say I recoginzed her, this is because I have seen her. I have never actually picked her up. She was about 5'3", maybe 90lbs soak and wet, strawberry blond hair. I looped around one time just to get a close look at her and there was a cruiser sitting on Hawthorne. I think they were watching another set of people walking down Elmwood.

Nothing more to report ... pretty quiet out there.I have seen her as far down as Walgreens, also on the side streets near the gas station past the library, on Potters below Bucklin. She's always dressed just a little too good if you know what I mean. I've made eye contact several times, no response. Dunno, but if you hook up let us know!

But at her place she spent too much time in an another room getting high and then did her club thing: dance, strip, no touch, covered doggy only with no hands on her! Since all that was not what I asked for and I told her that, she got quite rude and said those were her rules and that's that, handed me a girlie mag and left the room. So, I now believe what I've been reading here: if they start right away with the chauffeur bit, bail; get them to at least agree to the types of things of I want before handing over the bills; leave early if it's not going well. School of hard knockers. Pass her by.

If they want to so much as go get a soda before the date, I nicely tell them that's not what I'm out there for. I don't normally even do anything other than drop them off somewhere afterwards either. No waiting in the car for me.

Don't get me wrong, once I know a girl I will help her out. I have taken Christine to Brooks after a date. I took Valerie to Cumberland farms once. I don't mind that stuff, on occasion. But you have to be real straight with them. Christine especially. She will use you in a heartbeat if you let her. She always asks me if she can use my phone. Uh, "No". I never let anyone use my phone. She is always nice about it.

Looks like you learned a valuable lesson, that being don't go home with on a first time encounter. Even after establishing a "friendship" I'm still leary at first, especially if the "home" is in a, shall I say, less than desirable location. Don't get me wrong, I've done it, all the while wondering if my car would be there when I walked out. The previous is one of my "rules" another being I pick the spot, ALWAYS. I don't give rides to a "friends" house and wait for them to return. I don't need to lose my vehicle. I aslo want to know what rules I she has, if touching here,there, elsewhere is allowed etc.

Best advice I can give is always be aware of your surroundings, if it looks too good, it probaly is. My last post abut Val, no way would I have picked her up off a street, she just looked too good. I'm glad I was wrong about her but if she hadn't come into the store I would have driven right buy. And if she is uncle LE she gives a he77 of a BJ.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. --Sex is for sale in Providence, and police here say there's little they can do about it.

Behind storefronts that advertise as massage parlors and spas just blocks from City Hall, police say prostitution runs unfettered thanks to a loophole in state law that decriminalizes selling sex indoors. While soliciting sexual favors on the street is illegal, police in this capital city say prostitution is not prohibited if it happens behind closed doors.

"We don't have a law criminalizing prostitution indoors," said Providence Police Lt. Thomas Verdi, who leads the department's anti-prostitution efforts.

Police and city officials have pushed for legislation to toughen anti-prostitution laws. But some say the state already has statutes in place to combat prostitution, and adding laws to punish prostitutes is unnecessary and wrongheaded.

Rhode Island currently has several laws barring prostitution, including one that prohibits loitering for the purpose of prostitution and one that bans the harboring or transporting of a prostitute.

The apparent loophole emerged from a revised loitering statute in 1980 that made it illegal for people to loiter in or near streets for the purpose of prostitution, said Michael Healey, a spokesman for Attorney General Patrick Lynch. The law also prohibits stopping pedestrians and vehicles to solicit sex.

"There's just no explicit language in that statute that says ... it is illegal for a 'john' to pay a prostitute for sex in a room or in a spa or in a motel or something," Healey said.

Verdi, commanding officer of the police department's narcotics and organized crime bureau, said there are about 10 spas that serve as fronts for prostitution in the city, including at least two, Midori Spa and the Bally Day Spa, within blocks of City Hall.

A woman who answered the phone at Bally Day Spa said she had no knowledge of the business being raided and said it was not a house of prostitution. Midori Spa could not be reached by phone for comment.

Verdi said police have raided nearly every suspect spa and massage parlor in the city and charged women there with prostitution, but the charges were thrown out in court. He said it's impossible to shut them down because they're not doing anything illegal.

"None have closed their doors, because they don't have to. They continue to operate, continue to ship in their girls," he said.

But the Attorney General's office said it's probably overstating the case to say that prostitution is "decriminalized" in Rhode Island. Though prosecutors cannot use loitering laws to combat indoor prostitution, there are other laws that can be used to prosecute it, Healey said.

"Does the law currently give us the tools we need? We think in certain cases it does," Healey said, adding, though, that Lynch supports tougher prostitution laws if the police think they need them.

Steven Brown, executive director of the Rhode Island chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, said he doesn't understand why Providence police believe prostitution is decriminalized when there are three felony statutes in Rhode Island that ban it.

"The current laws on the books have real teeth in them and are available for use right now," Brown said.

To crack down, police could establish a connection with a prostitute willing to cooperate with police, but Verdi said that's extremely difficult. Police also need proof of a sex-for-money exchange, which is difficult, said Joseph Moran, police chief in Central Falls, who is also a state representative.

Earlier this year, lawmakers considered legislation that would have made prostitution a misdemeanor offense punishable by up to 6 months in prison and a maximum $1,000 fine. But the bills died amid criticism that they targeted the prostitutes, rather than the men who exploit them.

"I want to get at the source, not the poor woman who was being used in this way," said state Sen. Rhoda Perry, a Providence Democrat who sponsored the Senate legislation but later withdrew it. "My bill didn't do that."

Brown said he doubted police would be able to get at pimps by punishing the prostitutes with new laws.

"I'm not sure that the prospect of a 6-month jail sentence is going to convince them to snitch," he said. Brown said existing laws should be enough to crack down on prostitution and the people who profit from it.

Garry Bliss, director of policy and legislative affairs for Providence Mayor David Cicilline, said the city was working on revised legislation to target prostitution. He said it will be introduced when the General Assembly convenes next year.

I went for a cruise on Sunday and found Leah on Elmwood near Potter. I almost didn't recognize her because she changed her hair color from black to strawberry blonde. She was also wearing very baggy farmer jean overalls. What gave her away were those huge breasts that were busting through the straps of the jeans he he.

We went to one of my spots and enjoyed half and half for .40 I haven't seen her in quite a while, and have read reports that she has gone downhill. On this day she appeared lucid, and her skills were excellent. She is still one of my ATF's. She gave me digits, but we all know how that story goes. She asked to dropped off in a certain location other than where I picked her up, most likely to score drugs. I'll report back on the digits if they are verified.

Hello all,

First report here after absorbing some great info. Let me first start off by saying that PZ was right and its true about the pink building. I went there last Wednesday during the afternoon as suggested by PZ. It was amazing the girl to patron ratio was about 1 to 1.

I was offered a private booth dance by no less than 3 dancers. The going rate seemed to be between $ and $$. One had a tongue ring and offered ways to make use of it. The two others that I remember were nearly as open with what was offered. I did not take any up on it, since I had an appointment, but I will be back.

I did take advantage of some legit topless action for $30 total, $10 for the house, $20 for the dancer. Probably the most contact I have ever had in a club. Actually had to clean up.

Had an appt with Valerie Friday am, no show. So, what else is new? Saw Sara in the 7-11 p/l around noon, she was with another guy, kinda sleazy looking, she ignored me. Caught up with her an hour later, alone, on Atwells, it was her "boyfreind" she says plus uc was in the lot too. Says she works Mon and Thurs in EG, is around most other days unless she "gets messed up". Had an enjoyable time.

Sat. I had something to do on Smith, yep, looks like there was at least one out there, but at the DD I saw Trish, correction, she saw me. I didn't recognize her, downhill fast. I spent some quality time with her, really nice, clean, fresh smelling, willing to please. I wouldn't let her in the car Sat, that's how grungy and nasty she was. I will be arriving in Providence on Sunday and am an infrequent partaker in the Philly area. I was hoping to get some info for my trip. I have read your board with great interest and know of the Elmwood area. I would greatly appreciate your advice on my chances of meeting a SW on a late Sunday morning driving a rental car. Will that be an instant “no way”? Also, despite my searching, I cannot figure out what the AZ is? I have visited Midori on my last visit (a year ago) but did not like the hard sell to get more $. Are my chances better a spa vs. a SW given that I am just visiting? PM if you like.

Hi mongers,

I was out Monday and the action was very slow...I was driving on Bucklin, when I saw this nicely dressed girl standing near Bellevue, who at first didn't look like a SW. I turned around, pulled over and she came to the car. She had mirror-look sunglasses, nice blue jeans. She has straight brown hair, and a very bright colgate-white smile. Her name's "Brenda", we agreed on BBJ for 30. I'd give her a solid 8 on looks scale.

She did a good job, but my disappointment was no CIM, so she finished by her handsand some lotion. She's 27yr old, but looks much younger that that. She showed me where she lives and said I can come by after calling her Voice-mail service. She has a regular job in accounting, but its only part time. She also has 3 kids.

As for the Rental Car thing = one of the 'beauty parts' of Mongering in So·Pro is that it's a wonderfully diverse area : a real mix of peoples ; plus the area is residential mixed with businesses , so all manners of vehicles traverse the area ; and so both SWs and LE are used to seeing any and all kinds of people & vehicles around there

Just make sure that =

A.) The vehicle you rent isn't out·rageously ostentatious — like a pink Hummer , and

B.) It has Rhode Island plates on it . The last time Yours Truly rented a car here [ for visiting relatives ] , it had Delaware plates = and that would *definitely* draw Uncle LEO's un·wanted attention

I blew threw O-ville about 8pm, couldn't stop so just scouted. Activity on both Manton and Delaine, somehow I don't think they were all decoys even though it was a Thursday. The one on Manton was wearing dark pants and a low-cut pink top, looked good from the car anyway.

In fairness PZ, I had a similar thought.
Here in the Queen City we have received some of the folks in question but given the outpooring of free money (from Bush's $2K to Red Cross Debits to locals donations) I can't see any of these folks in need for anything for a long time.

Heck, even after they announced that they weren't sending folks to Mass or RI there were still goobs of people bringing stuff to those bases and setting up like 3500 people were coming!
I guess it will make them feel like they've done something without really doing anything.
If you really want to do something give a week of vacation to go down and clean up drying sewage or contribute a month's worth of mongering $$$!

In other news, I saw a few in Pawtucket this week but wasn't really looking that hard.

One area where I see someone almost every visit (including this week) is on US1 along the airport stretch. I NEVER see this area referenced. I imagine they are there to capitalize on the hotel dwellers.

Some·times you see people walking on Post Rd , because the state's only Wal·Mart is just north of the air·port ; and this section is heavily residential . But I doubt any of these peeps are P4P Pros [ just my opinion ; hope I'm *wrong* !! ]

Hey, I know you guys know the home turf better than me or maybe its just the southern accent or something.

Last Oct came out of the Subway and saw two white gals (18-22yo) going down he street directly across. Not knowing what they were up to I went across and got the look and by the time I came back up the street another monger was talking to them and they got in and went off with him.
I am convinced it was an opportunity lost however being on strange turf I wanted to be way extra careful.

I've seen a number of gals walking alone and not dress for business on the stretch from the Subway up past the airport and down the large street to the right.
Thye look like they were up to something tome but then again I don't go for the pro but the amateur.

I doubt QCG's reports, but I know I will be taking a glance at the areas he has mentioned. Since he claims he saw a couple of SW's there last October the place is bound to be hopping!

I met Lisa today. She is 41 years old ... She is short, has a ton of freckles and has long black hair. I found her on Delaine.

as the summer days wind down, it was yet another good day for a cruise. I plied Elmwood a few times, seeing only 'Jenny'. Her looks have gone down-hill over the last year or so. I then took a turn onto Bucklin street and ran into Brenda.
At first I didn't recognize her, she'd let down her long wavy brown hair. After I saw her sunglasses, I knew it was her and pulled over. She came in to the car, and after greetings I said she was OK last time. She asked what it'd take to make her service great. My complain was the lack of CIM.
This time we agreed ahead of time, but she said she never swallows, I said no problem. Agreed price was $25 for BBBJ. I give her a solid 9 this time, and her attitude is 10, same for cleanliness. Her BBBJ is second only to Sarah's and Felicia's .

Decided to cruise Olneyville yesterday after·noon , hoping to may·be spot the long lost Jo·Elle = when she does walk the streets , it's here

Sitting on the step of the building at the South·east corner of Delaine & Manton , there was this hot looking white chick = blond hair pulled back ; she gave me a little wave and a smile

I almost pulled in to scoop her , but suddenly I realized :

• She's sitting in a fixed location

• She's dressed *way* too warm for this weather . It was in th mid·80s and quite humid , but she was wearing long black pants and a long sleeved white sweat shirt

I have noticed a larger than normal number of potentials walking around the main streets in the Warwick area. Are they? I don't know but with current economic conditions,,maybe. I do know I've been lucky finding part-timers in the past in the weeks before Christmas.

In the past there have been posts of unlucky female individuals who were in the Projo along with their offenses, like being behind the AZ, and in some cases, their addresses. One address about a year ago jumped out at me as when I was house hunting I was considering buying the house NEXT DOOR!! I would have gone broke, think about it. Being the curious sort I did drive by a couple of times and did see someone who looked somewhat familar. I think I have seen this same person walking on Main, Industrial Dr, & Strawberry Fd. Unfortunately, I haven't been alone so,,,??

I have found a area with some hit & miss potential. Oakland beach p/l. I sometimes go there with the paper and maybe a can ot two of adult beverage. I found Chris, I knew her from Elmwood a couple of years ago, now "retired" but still hungry for $$. And Ruth, a somewhat chubby, bored, 35ish housewife whose husband works too much and doesn't give her the attention she needs. I gave her plenty of attention but going back to her house wasn't my cup of tea.

PZ, you may have seen Val. As I wrote before I passed her up as my radar was going off. It was only when she came into a store and asked for a ride did I settle down.

Heather is availible, dark hair, thin, little diamond on the side of her nose. AZ in O-ville up to Cumbys off Plainfield.

Immediately after posting this morning at 7 a.m. , Yours Truly lept in·to the P·Z HO·mobile and took off to scout out the area around PVD [ a.k.a. T.F. GREEN AIRPORT ]

As you know , one of my 'Rules' is that the hours just before and after Sun·Rise are Primo Mongering Times = especially at this time of year , when those hours co·incide with the times a lot of guys are driving to work

So I scoped out Post Rd and Airport Rd [ aside = would some·one please explain to me why you have to drive a mile south of Airport Rd to get to the actual Air·Port ?? ]

Any·who , first I checked out all the Hotels on P·Rd north of PVD , including closely checking out the Comfort Inn — which is off·set several hundred feet back from the main drag

Then , I cruised Airport Rd all the way to Warwick Ave and back

RESULTS = NO SWs seen !!

I think Gansett has it absolutely Right when he writes =

If you own a plane, the entrance to the hangar is on Aiport Road, as is the delivery and maintenance entrance right behind the Airport Plaza shopping center -- but I digress.

I was on Elmwood today near Hess during the deluge and passed a WSW seeking shelter near the pumps. I kept going, but only because it was Tuesday.

I went out Thursday afternoon. Despite the lousy weather, I saw about 5 Sw's on Elmwood, including Betty Boop mentioned by PZ here, this was around 630 pm. I also saw Alina/Alicia behind the AZ, however due to her high prices, and the reports regarding her on this board, I never even stopped. Yesterday she had a cell-phone glued to her ear, whether she was actually talking to someone I don't know.

I called the number Brenda gave me, and she called me back and said her boyfriend was around, therefore no action until nest week. The Jennifer mentioned by Sailor02,if she said her name was 'Jenny' is probably the one I mentioned.

I did see another Jennifer,though dressed in hooded gray sweatshirt and a baseball cap, she was near Hess station. Usually she's on Olneyville area, especially on Julian st. I failed to mention in my post the other day that Patti's baaaack. For those that don't or didn't know her. Short, walks kind of funny ( hmm wonder why?) has a headful of bleached blonde hair, usually teased up, my experience is she's always on Elmwood. Waits for you to make the eye contact. Not a rip off. Few years ago I gave her a ride home, at that time she lived in Middletown, told me that she normally took the bus to "work". What dedication.

Before this pastTues or Weds the last time I saw her, and all I did that day was see her, she was on TV being sentenced for B & E's of cars over at the Newport beaches. Think she's done 18 months (?).

For awhile they were both open (and seemed to be part of a chain with the Danish up Maine way, from whence they occasionally rotated some talent in to train the locals), then all the action shifted to Warwick, then there were a few busts off site but too close to home, and then one day POOF they were gone for good.

I was out on Elmwood this morning and found Christine. That's not too tough lately, she is out there anytime I am ... and I'm sure all the time in between as well.

I agree with PZ, I think her days are numbered. Hopefully when she retires it's because she ends up in a rehab and not because she ends up dead.

She saw my coffee and asked me to drop her off somewhere so she could get one ... I gave her mine so she didn't have to spend the money. I'm a sucker for this girl, she is really nice. Every time I see her she has bruises and cuts on her face ... somebody must be beating her up on a regular basis.

Yesterday afternoon at the phone outside the store near AZ was a real good looker, wearing a summer style dress! Light and airy, almost see thru. No visible scabs,scars,jailhouse tattoos or bruises. Thought I got "the look". Radar went to alert status. I wondered why my post didn't go right up on the board. I changed names because the name was not an intelligent choice. I just wanted to say I was out and about last night, didn't find anything appetizing. Let me say that over the past month or so I have found some decent game down near the Super Stop and Shop and Wendy's at the end of Atwells I think it is. My cruise use to stop me short of going all the way down there, it doesn't anymore. No luck in phoning Juicy yesterday, nor could I find her out and about. Well, does anybody know if you lose your Senior status if you change handles? I haven't posted since changing either, maybe thats it? Any insight on the Fall River scene, I know this is the RI board, but I thought I would ask anyway.

I know for me, I am just cautious of anyone that shows "Regular Member" with 2 posts. I'm sure Jackson will bump you back up if you contact him and can provide some sort of proof that you were here before.

Anyway ... I'm posting to answer your Fall River question. I have never, ever had any luck there. I used to cruise that area a lot and I never scored. Now, maybe I was in the wrong spot ... but I think from reading the Fall River board you will see it's pretty dead.

Hi Mongers,
just an update about our favorite mongering spots. I was out Saturday morning 6-8ish AM. There was alot of action, I saw about 8-10 SW's in total, they were mostly walking up and down Elmwood. However you gotta be very observant, because I did see 3 TV's as well, all dressed up like girls.

There was a pair of OK looking WSW's in a gold Maxima with RI plates. I stopped to talk to them, the passenger looked nicer than the driver, I asked to talk to her, then she exchanged a few words with the driver, but she refused to come out, then the driver said "Oh my friend is pregnant", although it didn't sound true to me. On the other hand I wasn't interested in the driver, so I moved on. Within half hour that the Maxima was around, the girls talked to about 8 cars in total and seemed not to strike any deals, I wonder why!!

Around 7.30 I saw Brenda, who I mentioned earlier, she was walking next to some guy near the Mobil on Elmwood and Potters. She came into the car, and said the guy is her boyfriend, but he's cool. We went on to my favourite spot for unrushed BBBJWCIM and the donation was $30. The most noticable feature about her, is a very white smile, and the sunglasses, which she always seem to have on her. If not for those things, I wouldn't have recognized her, or assumed she's a SW. That's because she's well put together, clean jeans, white sneakers, hair tied in the back, looks like a girl you'd see in the gym, or college campus.
As for those searching for action in the afternoon, I think you have better chances early morning, or after 5pm. Most of my cruising is during the day, and for me those times seem to do the trick. Also beware of exteremly ugly SW's (who look good from far, but once in your car, its another story!!) and also TV's who like to come out in twilight.

Now I dont get out a lot but i do read this board regularly and im thinking wow things are getting better and better out there so I finally get the chance to check thursday afternoon around 2. Man i drove evrywhere Manton, Elmwood and the surrounds. Nothing. Either my timing is off or somebdy is pulling my chain. Only thing i see is on Elmwood is guys, mongers i guess; all in big old Pickup trucks flooring it around the AZ side streets determined to find something. No offence but what is it with mongers & pickups? I wound up going to the pink palace and getting a few lap dances. I refuse to give up.

The thing about these areas is it is generally hit or miss. Coming out on a Thursday at 2:00PM is probably going to be a miss situation all around. Thursday's are bad.

I have had the best luck between 6:00am and 8:00am ... although a few of my regulars, especially Christine, have been out at the close of the day lately, that's 5:00PM to 7:00PM. I don't like cruising at this time of day though. It's VERY busy out there and it's tough to pick anyone up.

As far as the pickup trucks ... well, I'm a dirtly old monger and I don't drive one. I'm not sure I would even say I have seen a lot of them out there. I have seen mongers in all sorts of vehicles.

Anyway ... don't give up, just try different times of day.

Again, like Psyber said, if you are not looking to get laid, I have always enjoyed Club Fantasies. Large club - two floors. Bottom floor is topless only. Top floor is fully nude - for an additional $10 per head. It has its booze license.

If your buddies are up for it, why not make it a multi-stop night? Rent a limo or shuttle bus. Hit Club Fantasies, Cheaters, Cadillac Lounge, and the Foxy Lady. Start early and just work your way through the clubs.

As for food, I have no clue. I have only gone to Providence for pussy. :)

Shur enough , they got a Full Bar now , although only bottled beer as yet . According to the cutie bar·tender , they got the liquor license last month , but only opened the bar about two weeks ago ; and the beer taps are going to be installed some time in the next few weeks

Had the *best* time I've ever had there , too = with·in seconds of my arrival , on the way to the Bar , this little hottie named Dian [ pronounced = dee·ANN ] , grabbed my arm and asked me :

My problem is that I can't convince them NOT to go the friggin Foxy Lady.

The best man who's organizing things....get this....has NEVER been to a strip joint and he's in his mid-30's! The ushers are no help because they're in Iraq and due home today and tomorrow. I'm kind of a second level friend so the best man is listening to others. Plus the grooms older brothers are around 50 so these guys think they DON'T want to get nasty with hot, young strippers, so they want to avoid the high contact joints........where's the friggin sense in that? I know better in that older guys are total horndogs desperate for a good excuse to get young hot pussy in their faces but I can't convince eveyone else of that....So I'm fighting stupidity too.

If I had my way, we'd rent a limo, have dinner, hit Fantasies then Cheaters or the Cadillac Lounge, then retire to a hotel suite (or two) for some outcall fun, then maybe hit Wes' rib house for some red meat to finish things off if it's not too late.

But now, something has appeared at The Cadillac Lounge more naked than navel or thigh.

It's politics -- fleshpot politics to be exact.

After five years of trying, The Cadillac Lounge on Charles Street in Providence was granted a liquor license last week by the Providence Board of Licenses.

The license approval seemed the end of a long and silly standoff during which The Cadillac became a bring-your-own-bottle club. Men carrying a couple of six packs and a good chunk of their paychecks could go to The Cadillac, pay to drink their own booze and find the kind of romance they could never take home.

The Cadillac is the latest addition to one of the biggest attractions in Providence -- the strip club circuit that is never mentioned in the brochures but quietly acknowledged as a major reason people come to the city.

But every once in a while, someone will try to put the genie back in the bottle. Someone will say something like "hey, they got naked women in that place," and people will react as if they're learning for the first time that Providence has more strippers per square mile than any other city in New England.

Lawyers get involved. Community standards are sometimes invoked. Officials who might have enjoyed a brew or two in the company of Brandy or Angelique suddenly become stunned, angered, maybe aghast at what they learn of strip club cavorting.

The owners of The Cadillac Lounge have been to the state Supreme Court and back on the way to claiming a place in the very lucrative Providence flesh market. The billable legal hours have probably added up to the cost of a couple of thousand lap dances.

But the liquor license granted last week is not a done deal. There will be more dancing -- not on tables, not on laps, but in hearing rooms.

Dick Shappy, the owner of The Cadillac and a man who was once handcuffed and hauled to the slammer in an earlier skirmish in the stripper wars, picked up his liquor license at Providence City Hall on Thursday.

Now, the City Council has stepped in to challenge the license. A lawyer for the council has argued in front of a state hearing officer at the state Division of Business Regulation that the Board of Licenses acted illegally and the newly awarded license should be rescinded.

Yup, it's Providence versus Providence in this latest, and very strange skirmish of fleshpot politics. There's the Providence Board of Licenses in this corner, the City Council in that corner.

Lawyers for the City Council now have to prove that the council has legal standing to challenge the board.

Enough already. There are better things on which to spend city resources than the legal status of strip club cocktails.

Because after all the intra-city skirmishing is over and all the legal bills are in, the lonely guy will still be able to find what he's looking for on Charles Street.

Thanks to Mo Vaughn and a bad driving experience on his way home from the club, the Foxy Lady is probably the most well known joint in the area. And, more than likely, by far the biggest waste of money in the area.

If you really want to have fun, make it a point to drive by the Cadillac Lounge after you leave the Foxy Lady.

I have attached a map of how to get from Foxy to Cadillac, just in case. It is a whopping 0.60 miles between the two joints.

About two years ago, I went to a bachelor party, that started in Foxwoods, then they had like a min-bus, and we cruised up to the PVD's SCs. I dont know how much they spent for the bus, but it was a lot of fun, plus everyone got a wide range of activity.

I side with Gansett on the prices issue. From my various mongering experiences, $20 is the standard fee for BBBJ, tip is around $10 if the service was very good.

Also in my experience paying more doesn't guarantee great service, it only inflates prices for other mongers. We all have different needs and different budgets, I always ask for the cost of a date after the girl gets in, but before leaving the vicinity of where I picked her up, in case I have to let her out.

Typically I pay $30-$40 for FS, and Providence has a fine selection, I wellcome thoughts and opinions on this. Even when I take pictures, its for $10 extra, or nothing extra at times.

I do have to say that prices have been pretty consistent for me. I generally pay .3 for BBBJ and that's about it. I will sometimes bring an extra .1 for a tip.

Now, I do have to admit to giving Mercedes .5 sometimes ... but not all the time, and she knows it's because I know her.

Actually, you are both correct, as those were separate post-Foxy Lady accidents.

Rutledge and Coates were racing Northbound on Rt 95 (after leaving the Foxy Lady) when Rutledge's car left the highway and crashed into the rear end of a parked tractor trailer in the Attleboro North bound rest area. Cops said it was a miracle he survived. I saw the tractor trailor he hit during my a.m. commute. It was 5 feet shorter.

Mo dozed off at the wheel and crashed into the other car on his way home from the Foxy Lady.

Both incidents received much press around here, especially because of the Foxy Lady connection.

A year or so ago , in an effort to slow down traffic on the residential streets of So·Pro , the city installed a series of so·called "Traffic Revisions" on nearly every street that runs east—west in the Area

These include 'islands' in the middle of inter·sections ; curb off·sets that narrow the street to one lane ; and — worst of all and most common — speed bumps every few hundred feet . All of these require that you come to almost a complete stop to navigate

While a pain , they can be a mixed blessing = now you can slowly cruise PARKIS AVE , fer ex , with·out arousing suspicion as to why yer driving so slowly . But generally , they're just aggravating = especially if you simply want to cross town in that direction

The two main streets that cut across town in that Area that don't have these 'revisions' are PUBLIC ST and POTTERS AVE

Lately I've noticed SWs cruising these streets , especially between Elmwood & Prairie Aves = usually in the mid· to late after·noons . Un·fortunately , I've yet been able to par·take , because I'm merely transitting the Area and not cruising = but YOU might want to check these mean streets out !!

And as long as yer over there in So·Pro , swing by Savers Mart at 871 Elmwood Ave [ just north of I·95 ] =
they have the cheapest Gas in the State @ 2.75 / gallon

I don't think you were out of line at all. To be honest, I have thought about doing similar things. I would never get rough with a girl, but this is a good tactic that is more of an annoyance to her than anything. I think it's a good idea.

The other thing that pisses me off about these girls is when the negotiating doesn't get sorted out and you need to part ways, they generally get extremely pissed off and say you owe them money for wasting their time. Now, if we just can't agree but everyone is being nice, I might give $5 for the 5 minutes we used up ... but most of them want the whole ball of wax.

Ths hasn't really happened to me very often, but it has happened enought that I know how one sided they think this whole thing is.

I'm going to have to go with Gansett on this one. Simply because I honestly believe that you can get decent service for .2 or .3 ... where as the girls that are quoting .6 are full of shit. They are just screwing themselves because even if someone pays them that, it will be once a month or so.

RI is such a GREAT deal compared to NY. I've never had any luck in picking up SWs, as y'all do, but got some take out from Cheaters in the $300 range for overnight last year. In NY similar quality, would easily set you back 600-700+. Out of state and rental cars dont seem to go over well with SWs.

Dont know what cars LE uses in RI, but in NY they even use taxicabs and cars that were confiscated from ciminals. So, you never know, better safe than sorry if a car stays behind you too long. Thays why I'm OK with going to Cheaters in my rental but after a quick loop through the area y'all mentioned, I cant hang out.

IMHO, sharing info is a delicate issue. You dont really know who is who, so, may as well post it. MHO, is that LE has basically unlimited resources, so if they want to find out, they certainly will.

I ALWAYS know who is behind me. I am always keeping an eye on each and every car that is behind me and how long they are there. I also watch out on side streets to see who is parked and just watching.

I agree 100% on the topic of what LE knows. More than likely, they already know anything we could talk about with regards to locations that girls hang out. We do have an agreement here about not disclosing our places that we go for the actual deed ... that would be suicide.

Speaking of watching the side streets. Did anyone see the guy sitting on Bucklin this morning? He was sitting on a set of stairs between Carter and Potters. He took notice of me a couple of times ... I didn't like that.

The police have deemed her death suspicious, but have not ruled it a homicide.

PROVIDENCE -- A 25-year-old woman from the city's North End, missing since Friday, was found dead in a minivan in front of the train station yesterday.

Yodit Kaleab was last seen Friday evening at 7:30, when she dropped off her roommate at the apartment they shared at 40 Felix St., the police said.

She told the roommate she would be going to the store and would be back shortly; she never returned.

The police have deemed her death suspicious, but have not ruled it a homicide, Detective Lt. Hugh Clements said yesterday. He would not comment on the apparent cause of death, pending a report from the medical examiner.

Kaleab disappeared in a van that belonged to her roommate, whom the police declined to name. On Tuesday, they distributed "MISSING" posters with Kaleab's photo and a description of the van, a gray 1998 Oldsmobile. Yesterday at 12:40 p.m., a worker at the Amtrak station called to report the missing van was parked outside the station, at 100 Gaspee St., a stone's throw from the State House.

Last night, family members gathered at 140 Ruggles St., also in the North End, to grieve. They said it was too soon to talk.

Kaleab's family reported her missing on Saturday around noon. Detective Sgt. John O'Connor said Tuesday that Kaleab spoke by phone with a friend or relative on Friday night, but would not say with whom she spoke or what she said.

The police flier described Kaleab as "possibly endangered." Asked why detectives believed she might be in trouble, O'Connor would say only, "Her family raised some issues with us that are out of the norm." [ What were these "Issues" ?? Was she may·be a Prostitute / Drug Addict ?? — PZ ]

Yesterday, Clements repeated O'Connor's assertion. "They felt like she was in danger, and we treated it as such," he said.

He said the police have no suspects in her death.

Kaleab was unmarried and had no children. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1998; Clements said she was recently unemployed.
