I've been out a couple times in the past week or so on the K but haven't had the time to post. Here's the skinny.

The references to "the K" are all talking about Kensington Avenue, which can be reached by taking I-95 south (if you're in Northeast Philly) to Allegheny Avenue. When you see the overhead train tracks, you're at Kensington Ave.
SW's do hang out even in this weather; law enforcement is more of a deterrent than weather. You try going thru withdrawal and see if some cold drizzle stops you!
Cute and young is hard to come by but there's some. If you're looking for a 19 yo knockout, hit the City Paper ads and be prepared to pay top dollar, 2 to 3 bills is typical for this type of service. Personally I'd rather pay under 50 for FS so the K works for me, and you can find some rare gems out there (usually slumming). The rest are just crack hos. EASTON -- A 31-year-old Phillipsburg woman was arrested Thursday on felony prostitution charges after she revealed in court she is HIV positive.
Stacey Renae Davis, of the 300 block of South Main Street, was arrested at 8:06 a.m. Nov. 27 after she was seen loitering at Seventh and Northampton streets and attempting to flag down male drivers passing by, court records say.
She was arrested after she hailed and solicited an undercover officer.
Davis was arraigned before District Judge Gay Elwell on the third-degree felony charge. Elwell said prostitution can be graded a felony when the person charged knows he or she is HIV positive or has AIDS.
Prostitution generally is a summary or misdemeanor offense.
According to court papers, Davis has two children, one who lives in Florida and another whose location is unknown.
Davis told Elwell during the arraignment that she smoked crack a couple of days ago and marijuana a couple of weeks ago.
Davis was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
Formerly of the 1100 block of Northampton Street, Davis has had past brushes with the law and was arrested for prostitution more than five years ago.
She was arrested in May 2002 on charges of loitering and possessing drug paraphernalia after she was seen checking locked businesses for access in the 100 and 400 blocks of Northampton Street.
Davis was arrested for prostitution in December 1999 after she offered to perform sexual acts on an undercover police officer in exchange for $15.
Davis solicited the officer Oct. 26, 1999, in the 900 block of Bushkill Street.
Lt. Sam Lobb, director of the police vice division, said Thursday that sexually transmitted diseases are a problem among prostitutes because the women rarely get tested.
He said the Davis case should serve as yet another reminder why soliciting prostitutes can be dangerous.
"People who come to the city and engage in such activity should be cautious," Lobb said. "They can either run into that problem or get caught by police."
The area of Seventh and Church streets has increasingly become a place known for drugs and prostitution and police have made a concerted effort to crack down on those crimes, Lobb said.
He said that between Dec. 10 and 11 police arrested seven prostitutes Downtown and in the West Ward.
Prior to the sting, at least two women were arrested in the past four months for soliciting men in the Seventh and Church streets neighborhood.
Sandra Crespo, 30, of the first block of South Fifth Street, was arrested in October after police saw her get into a man's car that later stopped in the 900 block of Bushkill Drive.
While taking her into custody, police found she had an empty bag that once held crack and screening material used for smoking the drug, records say.
Another woman, Cheryl Marsh, 38, was arrested in August in the 700 block of Northampton Street after she propositioned a citizen who was working undercover with police.

Pretty warm for January so rode the rails out to one stop shy of the Bridge-Patt terminal, the stop just after Erie-Torresdale. Got off at about 1pm in the afternoon and walked back towards Philadelphia under the rail line along Kensington, all the way to the "bend" you guys described where the action falls off.
Pretty dead on a Sunday afternoon, not too many SW's and not too many people at all, which might explain the lack of activity, they'd really stand out on a day like today if present. First quarter of the walk yielded the most, but older and worn looking, one even said hi but I wasn't biting, not even if the economics were reversed. I'd generously give the couple of SW's I saw a 4 rating, but I think that may be too high Not much at all during the second and third quarter of the stroll. Last quarter right by the bend yielded one, but I wouldn't even give her a zero, she rated a mild negative. Didn't walk any further, went from mildly risky area to downright dangerous looking further on.
Rather than hop the rails back to the city I turned around and reversed my route, still walking. Sun starting to go down and that area gets downright scary as the light fades. Didn't see a one on the way back, nothing nada zilch, and I was walking so not sailing by quick, had plenty of opportunit to scope.
If my sample is representative, Sundays during the day may not be the best time to hunt. Or I could have just had a bad day, but I was there like three hours during my walk today.
Pretty disappointing, but other visits I've found some incredible gems with off the hook talent, so I know in general this is a great area to hobby.

Spent some time Sunday afternoon cruising the full K/Front route. Not many girls out; LE not much of issue. The available options all looked pretty much sub-par. Finally came across Barbie walking on Front, somewhere around Oxford and Cecil B. Moore carrying a couple of stuffed animals she'd found. I visited the K yesterday. Settled for melissa, a little chubby blond for .2 bbbj. That’s the only Rachel that I have every met. There are plenty of pictures of her on the web. Not enhanced but a nice set for a girl her size. She used to work for a “service” and I would say she’s one of the most popular girls on the Ave. I would be cautious about letting her find a place to park because I don’t think she’s has a good feel for safe locations. Yes Rachel is very picky about the company she keeps. She has enough regulars that she will likely let strangers keep on going and wait for someone she knows. I have known her for about a year now. Very friendly once you get to know her, also very good at what she does. She worked for YPE up until last year and a few of local agencys but always ends up back on the K.
She is very short Gareth, she is about 95 pounds soaking wet. Never had the HJ so I can't comment on that. As far as the parking situation, I really think all spots are lousy these days, unless your vehicle has nice dark tinted windows I do not recomend parking anywhere unless your going to be really quick. If you are going to drop a Ben for a good hour with someone nice go to a cheap motel, the extra safty and ablity to relax is worth the 25 bucks. If you have no fear of the law or the locals then you can take your chances in the hood.

There is one other place on the blvd that I use. It's a non chain place and I think 3 floors. It's on the same side of the road as the rat hole and a little past cottman. It's much easier if there is just a single guy working behind the plexiglass! A lot further down is Red roof that seems to always advertise 39.99, but I have never been there. Interesting thing was that as we went to the room there was a girl in a towel walking down the hallway very casually. In my 1 trip to the car I saw her enter at least two different rooms.

Wow, it seems like forever since I've been able to post what with server issues and all. Thanks, Jackson, it's nice to be able to commune with my bruthas again.
Anyway, the cold weather during the board's absence put a chill on most activity under the K from what I'd seen. I'd run into a few mediocre WSW's but nothing special all during our ultimately ill-fated football playoff season.
I did find Dana, the blond cutie I'd previously written about up near Lehigh. Did two separate dates with her, the BBBJ was very lackadaisical both times, and the FS I wouldn't waste my time with unless you like inanimate objects. Last Thursday I took a ride down the "K", from Hunting Park (Not Huntingdon Park, please) to Girard. Weather was nice, and I saw nothing but WSW's at various corners, and always on the east side of the avenue (why is that?). Three or four at the 7-11 alone.

High Pockets, you're right about that east side of K phenomenon. I've noticed that too. Rather odd but it does make things easier and safer for driving. You don't have to swivel your head or scan from side to side. Just focus your eyes on the east side. It's almost like a rule between Lehigh north to about M Street. SWs will be on the east side at least 95% of the time over the course of that stretch. Once your travel north or south of that section, you're likely to find them on either side of the street. In fact as you drive the last 20 blocks or so of Front nearing Girard, SWs are more likely to be spotted stationed or walking on the west side.

I'm going to presume that he was a new-century pimp (looking just like me in streetclothes but obviously on the 'hustle'; ahhh one must lament for the days of the fur coats, knuckles full-o-gold, the pimp stick and the feathered hat) and one must negotiate thru him to get the service/girl. I would think that this would be a turn-off for most. Every now and then I tend to see more and more of this kind of action going on along the 'EL'. How 'bout y'all.
The only benefit I see to this for myself is that many of the younger providers along the 'EL' seem nervous about kickin-it with a black dude, claiming they dont feel safe or have been ripped off in the past, or mostly just straight up not jumping in the ride when you stop. I had my first taste of Sabrina today. She was waiting for a bus at K & A to go up the Avenue to Erie, where she usually hangs out. Since I've taken some mental health time away from work this week, I decided to go check out the late nite scene Sunday nite on the K. A trip under the L is an adventure more times that not. Even when the pickings are slim there are usually many interesting things to observe.
Saw a very interesting younger (twentycoupleish)WSW a block south from the church on Monmouth. Didn`t figure her to be working on first pass but on the once around She gave the look and the nod. I cruised up and down for an hour or two late Saturday/Sunday morning but didnt have much luck. When I saw someone, I was beaten to the punch by someone in front. One of the great things about the City Of Brotherly Love is that after an evening chasing trim around the city there are plenty of great spots to grab a bite to eat. I am much more familiar with the Kensington neighborhoods than the North Broad area, but everytime I cruise up there, I pass this Rib Joint with one of those oversize ovens that releases the fantastic aroma of sweet spicey bar-b-que ribs. So the other day, cruising up broad, sack drained and stomach growling I succumb to the urge for Dwight`s Southern Bar-b-Que. Inside, man oh man, what to get. Racks of ribs to die for, pork sandwiches flying out the door. Delicious pork for everyone.
Everyone except me, that is! Don`t know if I just caught them on a bad day, or just maybe a white boy isn`t welcome in there. Dang, I was hungry too. I wish I could be so invisible while trolling under the L.

Met Cheryl Sunday afternoon on Front. I'm a fan of Star the MILFish chick who hangs out farther north on K but Cheryl out-MILFs her. I took a cruise down to the Ave to pick up a regular today, May 2, 2005. Of course I had made arrangements the day before only to find her phone not receiving calls on the pre-arranged day. Oh, well back to the drawing board with her.
I did a little cruising and hanging out so as not to make the trip a complete waste. I noticed that LE had the 7-11 region pretty well locked down early in the day 10am-1pm. I’m seemed like a more of a general presence to deter all crime and not specifically targeted. The were a few 3-4 hanging out a block off Venago and another 6 spotted walking around 1:30. The attached pictures were taken around 12 near Lehigh. The one I spotted hanging out near one of the bars. I’ve never been in any of those but I might have to check out the scene. The second one was working North of Lehigh and was probably in her 40’s. Looked ok from a distance but not so good up close. There was a younger brunette hanging around too, cute face but had a gritty look.
The last thing I have to report is that since I was bored I parked and pulled out my wireless PDA. I was amazed that I was able to connect to 2 networks and browse the web.

For those of you who fancy Brooke who usually hangs out across the street from the FireStation I have seen her hanging out all the way down the other end by K and Front for the past week, that alone knocks her down a few points on my desirable list, bad place to be spending your time. I have become a frequent lurker of this board since I found it about 2 months ago and have become enthralled with the possibly of engaging a SW for some activity. I previously visited several MPs and escorts but there was something about this new board and activity that caught my attention. Maybe it is the hunt and the potential of bagging a prize. Anyway, I digress. I took several disappointing tours of the K. Finally after some more research on this board and a very helpful post from another area (called something like 22 suggestions for monger), I set off for the K around 9:00 PM last night after dinner in the city. Going northern on the K, I saw a BSW on a phone near the merge with Frankford. I circled around the block and pulled over. She approached the car but I decided that she would not be my first. She had the miniskirt but was heavy and I decided to pass. I turned around and headed south and saw two young WSWs sitting on a step and got the wave. Around the block again but they were gone (or I forgot where they were sitting as I am not real familiar with the area and around the block sometimes is confusing with all the one ways). I was beginning to feel that sense of disappointment setting in but on with the journey. Around Cambria & K, I hit a light and see a WSW standing on the corner, probably mid-30s but OK looking (jeans & jacket). I make the left and pull over and there is a young girl (either LSW or BSW) in these incredibly tight white jeans. I got the turn around and initial step from the young one but by now the 30-something is by my car. She looked OK and since I was new and nervous, I didn’t know how to say no to one and get the other. Anyway, I asked if she wanted to take a ride and she got in. Her name was Eileen (aka Whitegirl). She asked if I was LE and I said no. I asked if she was and she quickly exposed her Bs in a nice red bra. She asked if I wanted to go to her place but I said no (again new, nervous and my 22 suggestions said not to do that). I wanted someplace private and she began to give directions. She seemed OK, at least sober and not wired on anything. After a few turns, which got me lost (not the western suburbs that I am used to) we pulled over in an alley and almost immediately a guy comes out of a garage about 50 feet away and just begins to look. One of the problems with newer cars is that when you turn off the motor the interior light comes on, which was quickly extinguished. The guy kept looking so after several awkward minutes, we decided to move but through it all, Eileen was cool. More turns and another quiet alley near some big trucks. The funny part of this was that we were parked under a streetlight, which brightly illuminated my lap so I got to watch a very skilled and enthusiastic BBBJTC, with my hands roaming over and around Eileen. She finished and I drove her back to near the starting place and I went home happy after my successful hunt. Well, thanks for reading my first post and a very successful trip in my mind. Feel free to PM me with posting suggestions and I never want to offend any of the dedicated readers. I apologize for the length of my post.

Is this true for the K?You can have success at practically any time of the day. The hardcore pros will be out anytime of day and will work into the night. I think the part timers are more likely to call it quits earlier. You have to have a sharper eye during the day and parking is probably not a good idea anytime of day but especially discouraged during daylight hours. One thing you may want to keep in mind if you take a trip down in the early am hours is that there’re are only a few reasons to be there at that time and you will probably not be able to blend in with traffic. Also, It is a high crime area so act accordingly. You may have to invest to fruitless trips but getting a lay of the land will benefit you greatly. Sometimes its worthwhile to take a trip down and just pick up some “digits” for you next trip.

Yes that's true, as is the comment that girls are available on K 24/7. One observation I'd throw out there is that some Night Girls are Night Girls for a reason -- meaning they're not exactly the most attractive women you'll come across. Again I'm talking some, by no means all. This phenomenon grows more common on K/Front as the hour gets later. Unlike some cities where the later the better, I've rarely scored hotties past 2am on K. However as discussed here recently, that doesn't mean the women available at that hour aren't skilled at what they do and can provide an overall good experience.
On the other hand I'd say it's more likely on K/Front to find that rare gem from a looks standpoint during the day. However, during the day it can sometimes take more of a trained eye to separate the SWs from the civilians. Like Debbie the MILF I just spoke about. She never works during the evening and just walks, doesn't stand still at a corner advertising her wares. I suppose it's terrible to say this but there's a better than reasonable chance that any female of age walking or standing by herself in this area (-especially on the east side of K from Lehigh to M or the west side of Front down by Girard, or either side of the street north of M or south of Lehigh) may be working.

I don't remember where it was now but there is a place where two very popular venues are almost accross the street. The idea of a steak with good, melted cheese on it was most appealing so I was naturally disappointed with what I found. The so-called "steak" was some kind of beef (I assume) that was extremely thin-sliced and essentially fried beyond recognition. The so-called "cheese" wasn't cheese at all but was melted Velveeta! I absolutely mean no offence to any Philadelphian and/or cheese-steak lover, and God knows I'll eat almost anything, but how can this be called a cheese-steak? It's neither! At least the ones I saw were neither. Is there someplace that someone can recommend that offers something more like cheese and steak?

I patrolled the K on Thursday night from 8pm to 10pm. There was not much out. Very light LE. I saw a half decent blonde near the KFC but by the time I circled about, she was gone. There were 2 BSW walking near Venango but I passed. I finally picked up Jules. She is 5'6 or so and a bit on the plump side w/ long brown hair. Real life 7 so I'd guess a 9 for the K standards. No visible evidence of drug use. We agreed to .3 for BJ (she would not come down) and offered .6 for FS. She did BBBJTIMCWS. Good technique and nice attitude. Definite keeper. She refused to give digits. I do not remember the exact side street but 1st light north of Venango.

I finally found a wsw who I thought was worth taking a chance on yesterday afternoon around noon. I found Lisa near the K on Torresdale a little east of the strip. She seemed to be late 30's to early 40's and sported a nice d rack, maybe 5'7" and 140. She claims to have just returned to her profession after a 6 year break. GarethDUDE! Its a freeking cheese steak! Is chopped steak, steak? No its beef so is a cheese steak. I have been in a few dinners and they offered a "steak" with cheese melted over it. So if thats what you want ask the local dinner to do that to your steak. Yes the best place is genos or pats in South Philly.

Not to stay off topic too long, but have to agree with Gareth's rotten assessment of the Pat's/Geno's style cheese-steaks. Never understood the fascination. Now, Tony Luke's roast pork are something else-delectable. And, for my money, if you want a truly mouth watering, died and gone to heaven cheese-steak hit the one and only White House in AC. That concoction puts that greasy Velveeta So Philly rot-gut to shame. Not to start a flame war with our Philly brethren-it's all a matter of taste and habit! On Saturday at about 4:30 PM, somewhere north of Somerset on the east side (natch) of the K, I spotted a redhead with a freckled face and small body. So after my date with C2 I took to the streets once again. Well, lemme back up a second with some more detail on C2. She may be one for you perky bud lovers, tiny lil A cups. Found Jackie Sunday about noon a couple of blocks north of Girard. Searched the board and I see that she's made occasional appearances in monger reports going back to early 2004. She is always found about this same area, which is close to where she lives. Young, slender brunette who was wearing her hair up and didn't want me to disturb it. Pretty nice looking, decent attitude. Kept singing "c'mon do the hanky panky," the old song she'd just heard and couldn't get out of her head.
Offered CBJ, wanted extra for BBJ which I strongly prefer. Weekends can be tough to find parking but the first place she suggested was ridiculous. Found Jackie Sunday about noon a couple of blocks north of Girard. Searched the board and I see that she's made occasional appearances in monger reports going back to early 2004. We've had this discussion before on the Philly board and it's a thread that seems to play out on other big city boards. I have no problem with your question. It's a reasonable one.
Some posters have pointed out reports that seem to show that there is very little risk in BBJs. I just go with my own experience of 20+ yrs of hobbyist activity. I would like to note that it is not common, but it is possible. I have seen some nasty looking SW's out there. Although, I have never picked up a SW, I have been curious to the experience. I have experience similar situation but not with a SW, few ladies at AMP's. You can't help feeling sorry for them, but there is not much you can do. My experience is a little different, since most AMP providers are not drug addicts. Some of the AMP providers are here from overseas to earn money to help and support their family overseas. With some country's economy and difficulties of finding jobs, some of these women are doing the only thing they can and sell.
I have had an experience with an addict, but as much as I tried to help, I realized that it was too difficult. It seems that every dollar you contribute will be used to satisfy their habit. It seemed like pouring water into a bottomless glass. I did help a girl financially and mentally in the past. But I think it would be a rare case, to actually help one and succeed.

Welcome to the dark side HL. Can't speak for others but for me, yeah, the thrill aspect of doing something with a little risk and danger attached (but not too much) is part of the appeal. By "risk and danger" I mean the aspect of having illicit, public or semi-public sex with shady ladies, not the risk of getting ripped off or catching an STD which aren't in quite the same category of turn-on for me.
Everyone is entitled to their preference. I haven't had much experience with them but AMPs are a little too tame and structured for me. I prefer the thrill of the hunt, making the selection, I guess even the uncertainty of it all.
Re getting ripped off (as opposed to shortchanged or overcharged), yeah it happens. I was scammed twice in my monger boyhood in a much scarier neighborhood than K in another city. But if you take the precautions outlined plenty of times on these boards, it's a pretty minor concern. Rip-offs are bad for business in general. The vast majority of working girls are exactly that, working girls. "Trustworthy" is perhaps going a little far, but "decent," sure.
As for where we take them, that is part of the monger's art or science :-). Welcome to the dark side HL. Can't speak for others but for me, yeah, the thrill aspect of doing something with a little risk and danger attached (but not too much) is part of the appeal. By "risk and danger" I mean the aspect of having illicit, public or semi-public sex with shady ladies, not the risk of getting ripped off or catching an STD which aren't in quite the same category of turn-on for me.
Everyone is entitled to their preference. I haven't had much experience with them but AMPs are a little too tame and structured for me. I prefer the thrill of the hunt, making the selection, I guess even the uncertainty of it all.
Re getting ripped off (as opposed to shortchanged or overcharged), yeah it happens. I was scammed twice in my monger boyhood in a much scarier neighborhood than K in another city. But if you take the precautions outlined plenty of times on these boards, it's a pretty minor concern. Rip-offs are bad for business in general. The vast majority of working girls are exactly that, working girls. "Trustworthy" is perhaps going a little far, but "decent," sure.
As for where we take them, that is part of the monger's art or science :-). Although I have some tolerance for risk, I also have criteria in my head for what constitutes reasonable safety from LE and neighborhood interference. I have certain favorite locations but I'm willing to listen to SW suggestions. Sometimes their spots become mine. One thing I don't do (well, not often anyway) is go "home" with a SW I've just met for the first time in an area like K. Took a little spin under the L on a recent afternoon. Saw an interesting girl working the avenue south of Allegheney but one of you mongers wheeling a white pickup scooped her before I could get around the block. You dog you.
Got another glimse of "the Grouper", passed last time, passed this time, and will pass every time. The usual assortment of skanks, wierdos, hags, and junkies working despite an omnipresent constabulary.
A bunch of porch hangers at Jennifers place near the 7-11. I thought I saw her from the back, but from a block away couldn`t confirm. There were too many persons there for me to make any clandestine attempt at up-close verification. There was however, one attractive (from a block) white cutie who had a baby with her, but who also sent the "monger sense" into a tingle.
I do have a fairly developed feel for these things, so I bet she leaves the kid with a friend to get out for a bit of work. A bit of conjecture, but I would betcha a Jack on it.
Anyway, I didn`t see Nicole or Avonna and since I was gem hunting, the idea of a knobber from second rate didn`t appeal. No new uber-hotties spotted.

K Avenue Report. Saw a cute girl at DD Thursday afternoon. Asked her name. It was Gina, who has gotten great reviews here. Looking forward to my first encounter with her I said, "I've GOT to use the men's room. See you in a minute."

As promised this my update on the bad girl trying to go good:
The weekend after I met her she was down on the Ave hanging out with my regular again. She was still chasing highs but accepted my offer of a ride home. Home for her is probably about 15-20 miles away from the Ave so it not an easy trip for her either way. I talked to a couple of her family members over the last week or so and confirmed that her parents were working on getting her into a treatment program which she should have started by the end of last week. There was some initial delay in getting her in, but I was told that she wants to do it. I’ll probably call later this week to get another update, but my regular told me she had not been down all last week.
Now for the report:
The last time I was down, two Fridays ago, I spotted what must have as least three 6-7 which I would have tried to pick up if I weren’t on a mission. It was around 9pm and LE seemed to be pretty light. I would always recommend a little scouting before you make a pick up since it summer and there are plenty of cuties to be had. I’ve seen the “Tammy Faye Baker look-a-like” almost every time I’m down. I always wonder who picking her up and how little she must charge since rates are so low on the Ave.

Haven't posted or had the chance to even visit the forum for a while. Before I get to the juicy bits, please let me weigh in on the idea of getting personally involved with a SW: You need your head examined if you even think of it. These gals have extremely messed up lives and are the very definition of unreliable fucked up bitches, even if they seem nice for the 20 minutes you spend with them before getting a knobber for less than the price of my weekly drycleaning bill. You are nothing but a mark to be taken in their view and (speaking as a reformed addict myself) your usefulness and place in their lives is limited to what material benefit you can immediately offer. You need to look at your priorities and the psychological reasons why you'd be romantically drawn to such a train wreck. Unless she's whoring for you and bringing home money, stay away. Get a life. Pay her for a BJ or FS and kick her to the curb, she'll just get up and go looking for more dick to suck. I hope that's a cold bucket a water on your balls, guys.

Cruised the K last night (Thursday) as I listened to the Phillies game; LE presence was suffocating but not horrific. It appeared to me they were marking frequent cruisers and stopping them for whatever bs they could prove in traffic court; it isn't as good as collaring a john, but they probably figure a monger who gets a traffic ticket on the K will run home scared and maybe never return. All I can say is there are some stupid mongers out there who need to learn how to use more discretion and caution. What cracked me up is that most of the dudes I saw getting nailed had Jersey plates and looked like soccer dads. For shame, for shame!
I saw lots of SW's, some I've seen before, plus a couple new ones that looked almost too good to be true, which further tingled my Spidey sense. However, I was pleasantly surprised to run into Rachel (aka "Sabrina" from youngprettyescorts); I've seen her pic and read about her here, but never met here before. She's a cute blonde with a great body (round buns, flat tummy, perky chest); despite looking good in tight jeans and a tight top, her long blonde hair was greasy and she smelled as if she'd not showered in a day.

We argue some more and I tell her maybe we should just forget it. She says no. We hit the road again. I see two cop cars waiting at the next intersection. Now I'm the one feeling spooked. I casually turn at the street before LE and go down around the block. I turn another corner and, bingo, it's a dead end with good parking cover, no building windows nearby, and with good sightlines for us to see anyone approaching. This is where we'll do it I tell her. I give her a jackson and she now breaks the news that she charges $30. I remind her we've already agreed on $20. She bitches but finally gets ready to go down on me. Suddenly I see a young kid about 18 walking towards us about to pass right by the car. He's just a civilian but still....

Before she's even turned the corner, I started backing out of the parking spot and taking off. A couple weeks ago I mentioned that I've only been ripped off twice in 20+ years of mongering, and not at all in the past 15 years. Hundreds of pickups. My luck has run bad since that posting. My suggestion is find some of your regs that you do trust for awhile until you get your game back. After my last encounter with LE, see previous post, I was spooked to stop at all for anyone. After a few weeks of sucesses that feeling went away.

No unfortunately I didn't get the name of the blonde who ripped me off. I always ask for the name right away but this one immediately started interogating me whether I was LE or not as soon as she got in the car. Don't believe I've seen her before. I'd say she's about 5'4"-5'5," 120 lbs, blonde straight hair worn up, trace of a black eye, picked her up walking on the west side of K near Venango. Strongly wanted to take me to nearby rundown shopping center, a block off Tioga going west. Her insistance seemed a little suspicious on its own, but it was broad daylight. Upon being stopped I got the usual license and registration deal. All my paperwork is in order so they could not get me there. This is a bullying tactic LE use to rattle you when they have nothing else on you. They want to keep you out of the neighborhood or and get you to say something stupid like "Well, we hadn't done anything yet but we were going to."
I've been stopped for this a few times in NYC. Once they pulled me over with a hot blonde in a miniskirt in my car. They pulled her out, took her aside and then left her alone while they hassled me. The two cops did a "good cop/bad cop" act. Bad cop says I am associating with a known prostitute and they have my registration and can send a letter to my house and my wife will read it. Good cop says they won't send any letters but I should just tell them what I was up to. Now, I have been telling them nothing was happening, we were just talking and driving around. I know they have nothing on me but if they can get me to say ANYTHING they can bust me.
I stuck to my story about just driving and talking. After a while they gave me back my papers and good cop says "OK, you can go, you're one of the smart ones."

Alright, this discussion forces me to tip my occupational hand. There is no recognized criminal offense that you can be charged with such as associating with a known prostitute. However, the act of doing so can have some consequences.
Under federal case law (a case called Terry v. Ohio) recognized in Pennsylvania, a traffic or other stop can be made for brief investigatory purposes if a police officer can identify specific articulable facts leading him or her to a "reasonable suspicion" that an offense has taken or is about to take place.
Note that this standard allows you to be detained for investigatory questioning on a lesser showing than the "probable cause" we're all familiar with. During a so-called "Terry stop", the police can do a few things which some of us might not like. They can question you and require you to produce ID and vehicle registration. They can order you out of your car and pat down your exterior clothing for weapons or contraband. They can also conduct a limited search of those areas inside your car that are within your "wingspan", i.e., those areas within your car you can reach while seated inside. That includes your glove box, console panels, and even bags or parcels you could reach. The idea is to ensure the officer's safety by allowing them to make sure you can't get to a gun and blow the sucker away while he's writing up a warning. However, if that incidental search leads to the discovery of contraband or weapons, "reasonable suspicion" then ripens into probable cause, and you will be given prompt accommodations at the roundhouse at 8th & Race. It's not exactly the Ritz.
Also, anyone who is on parole or probation (particularly parole) has a good deal to lose by associating with known undesirables, and depending upon the terms of your arrangement, you might end up right back in jail and on the receiving end of some unwanted FS.
Went down to Kensington over the weekend. I have to say it was very interesting, not just form a mongering perspective but from an out of towner it shows a real gritty urban landscape one does not encounter in our placid suburban existence The overhead train, the abandoned warehouses, the boarded up rowhouses, the drug dealers and junkies wandering the streets all added to the surreal atmosphere. I have been in tough parts of DC and Baltimore before but this was a much more interesting looking area, it felt straight out of a movie.
Ok onto the report. I found only about 4 or 5 girls working the K street area on Friday night around 3 AM to 4 AM near the blocks close to 7 eleven. LE prescence was minimal. One thing I find very scary about picking these girls up is that possibility that they have some illegal substance on them and by bringing them into the car if the cops pulled you over that would make you liable.

In my only investigative stop I had picked up a girl at K Avenue & Westmoreland and was stopped a few blocks later by a patrol car. They took the girl away and eventually talked me into admitting I was "hoping for" sex, even though we had not discussed it. Result: $100 traffic ticket and a warning to leave the Avenue. In court I protested that I violated no traffic laws. The judge found me guilty, saying that in an area of high prostitution the officer's action was legal.

Went crusing today at the K to check out some talents (9pm-10pm). But apparently LE activity is heavy. I'm not sure if there was a bust or an accident but some reason the LE blocked of part of K. Anyway I had to make a circle around the blockade and there was SW waiting nearby.

If you have been caught after the fact, and there is no obvious evidence that you did anything illegal I think yes this is the time to stick to your story and not admit to anything. A great line from a movie quotes "It's not what you know, it's what you can prove"
However, if on the otherhand in a situation that happend to me a few years ago, you get stopped "on the ave" picking up someone say like Tiffany who we all know dresses like a hooker, was standing in the middle of a part of the ave where she could be doing nothing else but working. Then get pulled over 5 seconds after the pickup by undercovers who were staked out watching her.
Your best bet in this situation IMHO is to fess up. Nothing pisses a cop off more than lieing to his or her face when they know full well what you were doing. In this case I was let go with a warning and they pulled her out of the car and read her the riot act. Unfortuantly when push comes to shove on the ave I am going to cover my own ass first, I have way more to lose than the girls do.
I am sure there will be opposing views of this but that's fine, this is what I would do, and everybody has their own way of dealing with these situations.

Today I Went for a trip on K, Still looking for Rachel(Sabrina).

GarethAs far as quality goes, I would definitely go during the day. I have met 90% of my keepers during the day. I got lucky meeting my regular by giving her a ride one day to the clinic. If you're asked if you know why you were stopped, say no. Do not admit to anything other than the fact that you were either driving (if pulled over while in motion) or talking. You have the right to remain silent and there is nothing they could have done to force you to admit to your hope for something. Be respectful, if the cop gets frustrated about your silence, apologize and say you're not trying to be disrespectful, but you don't think it's a good idea to say anything without consulting a lawyer. They may be frustrated, but there isn't a thing they can do.
Also, you can get a ticket for obstructing the highway if you're stopped while pulled over. I won't comment on the legality of this, but in Philly traffic court the practice is pretty much recognized and they'll issue you the citation just as a sanction for doing what you both know what you were going to do but they can't prove. They won't go so far as to arrest you without catching you red-handed.

A quick ride on the K about 6 pm yesterday yielded very few sightings, other than 2 girls nobody wanted to have anything to do with. HSWs dont spend too much time out on the K since they usually live in the area and have families. If they do, they can be found on the K below Lehigh and on Front street. They generally blend in and often times are on cell phones. They are usually not easy to spot because they are not junkies and therefore look like regular girls. Sometimes they walk in pairs like friends hanging out on the street. When you talk to them, they direct you to an address on the K usually near where you find them. If you seem leery about going to an address, they will direct you to an adult bookstore where you can have a booth for .2 or a couch for .25
There are more available and affordable white and hispanic girls on the K than you would ever imagine. But surprise surprise, they are indoors. Many of these girls are not junkies and need money but they dont walk the stroll.
You can usually tell the houses that have girls by the couple of people sitting or standing outside with the door open. Harder to tell in the summer because they might be regular people without air conditioning. But in the winter, the open doors late at night, especially after midnight, is a dead giveaway. I suggest taking a late-night drive. Park and explore on foot if you are feeling adventurous. Something interesting always happens when you walk the K. Check from below Lehigh all the way to Venango.
Sometimes the girls come outside, walk the block, cross the street, hang by the door and go back inside. If you talk to them while they are outside, they will direct you indoors. Looks vary. I know several that are girlfriend quality. Prices range from .2 to .5 (.05 to .10 goes to the homeowner).

First at that time of mourning, my feelings are what other reason would a woman have walking or hanging in the street, second at that these times most families are in there homes, and thats one set of eyes you do not have to worry about, also there are alos less cars on your bumpers checking out what you are doing, even though they may have the same thing in mind. My last three reason are just as important, sometimes the cops are switching shifts, or somewhere sleep, or whatever, second this is the time when I'm on my way from one state to the next so I pass through rest and also check out the action, last is because sometime I just can't sleep. A quick ride on the K about 6 pm yesterday yielded very few sightings, other than 2 girls nobody wanted to have anything to do with. Moving a little closer to the Bridge Street end, I found a WSW (actually half Cherokee) with a very identifiable name which refers to an indian tribe. I probably don't get to the K as frequently as some of the other fellows but I've found the best selection to be during the day and into the evening. Frequently a lot of girls in the afternoons and up to midnight. I'll sometimes get there for an afternoon or do two or three days in a row, perhaps 3-8 hours at a stretch...this is probably every couple of months or so.

Did Phillly around 2a.m. on Saturday did some of the areas mention in the past, like Haverford & Lancaster, I don't know about the dancers, and the 18-37 yr olds walking these areas, but I did see a lot of bsw that looked like they should be calling Jenny Craig and a couple who should call Jenny Jones for a make over. I found myself off of work late last week recovering from a summer cold, but felt well enough to hit the stroll on the K in the midafternoon. Many many times this is a fairly productive time of day; the early AM rush hour selection is actually better, perhaps the best, but it's a time I rarely make it out. Not a morning person.
Anyway, this day just wasn't that great. I caught glimpses of some promising talent, but three times in a row was beaten to the punch, probably by some of you guys. I saw two WSWs I wouldn't bother with and was just about to call it quits when near the Erie Torresdale "El" stop I saw a blond WSW named Tish. My regular who some of you may have contact info on is off the circuit for now. I heard that she was hanging with “fat Kelly” on night and was left passed out on a doorstop. The attached picture was taken on the 4th of July around 3 or 4 pm. I liked the look but had other things to do!
