i have heard on another forum that highwaters bar in medford may have some professional action. i have also heard that the MPD has the place staked out, i find this hard to believe with the incompetence of our police force. has anyone else heard this?????

I've lived here for 5 years, and finally had my first local experience.

Tuesday afternoon in Eugene I decided to drive the strolls.

Nothing on 6th or 5th so I moved over to 8th for a last look and spotted a SW standing near a corner but not at the bus stop who looked me in the eyes as I drove up and when I hit the brake to slow down and signaled a turn she turned to follow. She got in and we drove off. I asked where a good place to go was and she made a suggestion. After haggling over $ she needed We had a pleasant visit.

When I asked about other SW's she said they are in jail as they were too obvious - meaning standing in one location too long, being infront of a business, etc. She indicated that she moves to streets between 5 & 8. She seemed to be dressed like a hippy which, I guess, fits in with the image of the Whittaker neighborhood.

Eugene LE came out on this fine sunny day looking for someone to take their bate. The first glimpse of someone that looked out of place was during the noon hour. A medium height women with short brunnette hair was spotted hanging out on the corner of Tyler and Sixth. Not moving, not walking, just standing there. I also noticed a dark green sedan parked up the street behind a semi with a white male in the drivers side. I did engage in a brief conversation with the gal, but suffice it to say I could tell that something wasn't right and my big head kept the situation in check.

Later on that day around 6:00PM, I cruised by the same area. This time I drove by Polk street just in time to see a black and white park in the shade between Seventh and Eighth. Sure enough, as I swung around the block another 'new' gal magically appeared. This shoulder length blonde was just 'hanging out' on the corner of Tyler and Seventh. This is too much coincidence for there not be something going on. My recommendation, if you happen upon new neighbors in a familiar neighborhood, be careful. Perhaps it's best to call it a day and go home.

FYI - Eugene - gave a ride to a WSW on 7th. While heading to our destination we picked up a tail - black male, late 20' - mid 30's driving a late mod dark blue econo car. She of course stated she did not know him. I highly doubt it.

I have had agressive johns follow for a bit, but they have always faded out after a few blocks - not this guy.

I believe there is nothing in the form of a street scene in Medford. Young women experiment with being naughty at Ground Zero or Highwaters in the center of town, but it is a 20's "meet market", not a place to find working women.

I am aware of three agencies currently:

Pricing is pretty standard at all three places: $120 to $140 gets you started, and the girl gets some $70 to $90 of that. Some people don't tip and they get a nude dance or show. A $100 tip seems to be high average, but it makes the hour more interactive and the girl more interested and interesting. FS might happen, but usually not, especially on a first date.

The strip club in the middle of town is an expensive place to troll, given the price of $20 for a lap dance under the watchful eyes of low-light cameras. If you invest enough time and money in those lap dances you might get a private meeting; it has happened to me. But most of the dancers are look-but-don't-touch, and it takes multiple dances to break the ice, with very mixed results.

My best advice is to be 25 and good looking and like to dance, then hang out at the bars Ground Zero or Highwaters in midtown and take girls home for the price of a few drinks. But if you are too old to make that work, then call an agency. There isn't any in-between.

Had funny experience the other night, was driving on Pine St. in Salem, coming towards Front St. going west. I was driving about 15mph when this sw runs out of the dark almost in front of my car. I hit the brakes quickly and she trys to open my passenger side door. I'm not sure about the situation so I roll down my window to see what is going on. She is really high on something, probably crank, and tells me to to let her in.

I said "why."

There is still zero street activity. There may be working women at the downtown bars, but I have never seen it. The girls at the strip club at Main Street at Riverside are required to do air dances, under the watchful eyes of cameras.

Call the numbers and see who is available. In each case, in my experience, the agency operator is on the ball, and if he or she says that a girl will be at your place in one hour, she actually does arrive within 5 or 10 minutes of the appointed time.

$120 to $140 is the agency fee. The girls usually get tipped beyond that but sometimes do not. Tips range from zero to $150 usually, with 100 being considered generous. YMMV, depending on you and the girl, and who knows what really happens behind closed doors? Do not expect fs. It might be available for a generous tipper and a regular customer, but I would not count on it or even expect it. You can probably expect to have body lotion applied to your back by a topless girl; anything beyond that is uncertain, although it is my experience that I generally leave the session relaxed and smiling, one way or another. I suspect that is not always true for people who just stop with the agency fee and who do not tip.

I visited these twin cities this past Monday early and late afternoon and made several circuits of the former strolls and was totally unsuccessful in even spotting anyone working.

I was in these two cities last Thursday and Friday so I made several loops both days on the strolls.

I did spot two WSW on Thursday but they were hard to pick up. One, a nice young blond was walking east on the west bound street sucking on a bottle. I swung around the block, spotted her walking my way so I parked and made eye contact. No luck, but she did sit on a curb in a parking lot a few feet behind me. So again I drove around the block and parked so she could see me looking at her. She stayed there for several minutes, used her cell phone.

After 5 minutes of looking I got tired of the wait and left. Yes, I do believe she was working as she walked both ways on a one way street and sat where there was no bus stop etc. Too bad as she was good looking.

The other was an older with straight dish water hair.

I was in the Eugene and Springfield areas for business several times this past week so I looped the various strolls several times each day. Basically the same report - nothing when I was looking.

Wednesday night about 7:30 I did spot a young lady sitting on the ground watching traffic by a Buy/sell business on the corner on the south side of, I believe, Main Street east of where the two one way streets merge. I was driving slowly when I spotted this young possibility so I slowed and turned to park next to the building. As I turned I happened to look up to my left and saw a man sitting in a pick up truck with the window down. I immediately changed my thinking and slowly drove by. As I looked at him he seemed to have a dark shirt on with some kind of shield on the upper left sleeve. Could have been a cop staking out a decoy. He was parked in a dark area but with a view so he could clearly see her and she was seated where she was obvious and could be observed by the pick up.

I drove around her block and headed east for a way and stopped at a tavern for a few minutes. When I headed west again she and the pickup were gone.
No she was not at a bus stop as I checked for that on my second pass. No she didn't make any overt motions that led me to believe she was working, it was just her positioning, looks etc. that made me want to see if she was working.

Was it a sting? I do not know but I would rather be safe than sorry and I wanted to warn others who might see her or a similar individual in Springfield to be cautious and to look for LE in an unmarked vehicle.

I was headed home around 8:30 after a day out of town, but I decided to do a spot check of the Eugene stroll. Things have been very slow lately, so my expectations were low. After a couple of passes and a short stop to see if there was any action at the bookstore, I decided to call it an evening. Much to my surprise I saw a young blonde walking west.
