On Wednesday 2/16, I found myself in Dayton a little early before a meeting and decided to go down Linden and Xenia Ave. I did see a WSW about a 6 or 7 on Linden and decided to circle around. Once I had taken a discreet turn onto side streets and circled back, I found she was gone.

I then headed down Xenia and didn't see anyone else so I went on to my appointment. Afterwards, I decided to hit Xenia again. Well it was raining and I had some errands I needed to accomplish. On a whim I decided to go down Keowee. Across from the no tell motel in the car wash parking lot was LE. LE was sitting there just watching the traffic go by.

In regards to your situation with Melissa, I have been in the same boat before. Xenia Ave is getting hot due to the local residents getting bent out of shape due to SW and hobbyists in the area. I am not surprised there were people out carrying signs and that they followed a SW bothering her.

There have been comments on this board about hobbyists going up and asking the local ladies for their companionship when they aren't SW. That will definitely rile up the residents.

The worst part of Xenia to cruise is from the bypass to Linden Ave. The residents there are definitely anti SW and hobbyists. They will make comments and if you make the mistake of looking at someone on the sidewalk they will watch you closer.

The two story brown building just past the overpass closest to Linden used to have SW who lived there. The neighbors across the street would make all kinds of comments about people pulling up to pick them up. They did a good job of getting them booted out of the building and drying that part of Xenia up.

We do have to go where the SW are but I would definitely be careful about picking up someone no matter how good looking they are when there are people protesting around. They could very easily write down your license number and give it to LE or take your picture and give it to them as well.

I found myself with time to spare so I decided to indulge myself with a little play time today. I headed down to Keowee and didn't see anyone out. There were several cars with doors open in the parking lot of the first no tell motel but I have a known aversion to going in that parking lot due to LE.

I kept going over the river and again didn't see anyone out. The absence of LE was noticed as well. I hit traffic circle and pulled into Centerfold's parking lot like I was turning around to see if anyone was hanging out in the stairwell of that no tell motel and no one was there.

The unannounced demonstration around 8 p.m. chased away loiterers, intrigued onlookers and prompted passing motorists to honk their car horns in support as the loud chant "Johns go home!" was heard along the avenue.

Leah Werner of East End Community Services, 624 Xenia Ave., a nonprofit agency that offers employment counseling, a health clinic and a teen drop-in center among other services, said the protest targets the top concerns among residents.

The protest is the neighborhood's second.

The first occurred last Saturday morning, she said.

Catherine Oditt, 80, said the neighborhood's vice crimes are as bad as she's seen in her many decades as a resident.

"We have to do something," she said. "We want our neighborhood back."

Protesters spoke of being accosted by aggressive prostitutes at all times of the day and night who go so far as to press their faces against the windows of stopped automobiles.

Others said they have to walk a gauntlet of them even when walking children to school.

Scott Duty, 45, said he's outraged that his grandchildren are exposed to the vice crimes.

As a homeowner, he said he's concerned about the value of his investment.

"It's gotten a lot worse in the past year," he said. "It's not funny anymore. We're just trying to take this town back. The crack heads are just bringing it down."

Should start a new thread for this but since nothing is happening....... Massage Me has me too paranoid to drive my van in the east end so, I decided to stop and check out centerfolds this evening.

The parking lot was full and when I walked in, I was the only customer. First time there and I enjoyed it for what it was. Well, I had some time to kill before the hardware store opened at 10AM so I decided to head to Xenia and see if the article in the Dayton Daily News has been doing anything.

I drove down and didn't see anyone out. It was about 9:30am so I decided to see if any early birds were out on Keowee or North Dixie. There was also an article in the Dayton Daily News about some of the no tell motels like the Economy Inn and Parkway so I wanted to see what else was going on.

Keowee was dead. There were lots of cars in the parking lots of the first no tell motel across from McDonald's but I don't like driving into parking lots. Especially since that one is very limited with the big fence they have there.

The second no tell motel did have one or two cars in the parking lot but something about my glance didn't seem right. I couldn't figure it out so I kept going.

Dayton Motor Motel had a full parking lot with several doors open but that too is a limited in and out. Especially since LE likes to sit down the street and watch for you to come out.

The no tell motel across the bridge also had a full parking lot as well but no doors were open and

I headed to traffic circle and the Parkway was totally deserted. Only one car in the parking lot by the office. I did take the chance to drive through that parking lot and no cars were on the backside as well. Now the no tell motel right next to it (and the drug store) did have quite a few cars in the parking lot but I spotted LE so I decided time to go.

It seems like since the Parkway had its name so prominently displayed in the Dayton Daily News, business there has dropped off dramatically.

I did go back over the bridge onto Keowee and the light there was red so I was afforded an opportunity to see why something didn't seem right there. Dayton LE had a cruiser parked hidden behind the dumpster in the parking lot side facing the street. I'm glad I listened to my gut and kept going.

Here a story.

I have been around the Dayton area for the last several weeks and after doing the required RTFF I have spent several hours over several evenings checking out the listed areas.

During my travels I have seen quite a few candidates, some ranging from god awful -1 while others go as high as 8 or 9 in the regular girl schedule (and probably they are regulars not SW's) but to date have yet no joy in connecting due to (a) too much LE in the area - I was amazed at the high number of cruisers in the 3rd street/Lynden area a couple of weeks back, (b) girl gets picked up before I turn around and/or (c) girl is skittish and won't come towards me (damn rental cars that look like cop cars)

Last week I finally broke the magic decoder ring puzzle!

-In the bridge area (both sides) - does it pay to check the side streets there as it does down by Xenia and 3rd and 5th street area?

-Notells- The notell I used charged full day fare since it was past 5 PM. This made it pretty expensive for a one hour deal. Also checked my ID and put info down from my license (ugh!). I'm accustomed to "notells" that have short time rates and really don't validate ID - do those exist and if they could I get names/locations?

Was out late last Monday cruising around and stopped for some gas just north of the stip on Keowee. While filling the tank I was a wsw brown hair on the payphone. Until Jackson emailed I couldn't find the board at all. I went out this weekend to see whether Dayton is as dry as it appears. Last night it was. I spent several hours driving around our fair city to no avail. I went out again tonight and feared I would meet with the same results. Over the years Mikos has been hit or miss for me. I'd say only 1 out of 5 visits rate on the high end of scale, the rest float in that 5 or 6 range. I have attached it, and hope that those of you with first hand experience will comment on its accuracy/sufficiency and maybe make suggestions for new "yellow dots" to add. 3) Cross river on Ridge into Triangle Park to R on Seibenthaler
4) Seibenthaler to R on N. Dixie Dr.
5) South on N. Dixie Dr, turns into N. Keowee St.
6) Take Keowee St all the way to L on Xenia Ave.
7) Xenia Ave to L on Linden Ave.
8) Linden Ave to L on 3rd St,
9) 3rd Street to L on S. Keowee,
10) S. Keowee to L on 5th St
11) 5th (explore side streets to 3rd?) to R on Hamilton
12) Hamilton to Steve Whalen Blvd to US35 W.

If you could rank the various legs of this tour map, I would be grateful.

Not a bad loop, but rather than turn at Hillcrest, just keep going north on Main to Seibenthaler and cross the bridge there to get to Dixie, then south on Dixie. Getting back to the river, you can turn onto Embury Park or keep going south onto what becomes Keowee on the other side of the bridge. Actually what you could do is turn on Embury Park, go down a couple of blocks and turn back north on the side street then come back on Drill to Dixie.

In my several years of mongering in Dayton, I only found two or three girls on the Ridge/Embury Park route past the road (Kearns I think) and Keowee.

When you get to the "east side" be careful, the last time I was in Dayton, the had added a bunch more closed streets to keep us mongers under control. You may enter a street and find it blocked at the other end. Local update on those please.

Giani: I would forget about east Dayton all together for a the time being. It is my usual hunting ground and there has really not been too much out to waste your time around Linden, 3rd, S. Keowee and Xenia.

On N. Main there is action. My sugesstion is to stop at the marathon station, buy a coke and sit there for a few to see if anything pops up. There is LE presence so, I would not repeat going up and down too often.

On N. Dixie at the intersection of Siebenthaler, there is a white hotel the girls hang around this area within a block or two a few of them have rooms there.

If nothing pans out, there are strip clubs (around a dozen) on Dixie. have a beer and then go back out hunting.

You may be correct on this. I also came from the international site before the usa board was here and I believe I lost many post numbers. It has been awhile so I am not sure however; Jackson runs a tight ship on senior membership for a good reason and if Geniune has senior membership, it should not be questioned. I know how difficult it is to get it.

As I mentioned when I posted a proposed monger's map to Dayton, I had a little time in late afternoon today to devote to the "hunt." I pretty much followed the map, and here are my observations (obviously, NOT necessarily statistically significant). The cruise was between 4:00 and 5:00 PM.

North on Main starting on Forest--possibly a cute very black girl sitting on a bench on the W side of the street. Did not deem worth U turning. I know everyone has their own favorite, but the Living Room is mine. Its about 5 minutes north of downtown, resonably priced, and always been a good time for me. I don't think there is anything else on that side of town worth a visit.

Down south, you have Cheeks, Pizazz and Diamonds. I thought Cheeks was better before their expansion, but I don't like Diamonds at all, and Pizazz is just so-so. Even though Diamonds is all nude, its byob, and pricey.

10 minutes further south you have New York Cabaret, which is ok. I haven't been there enough to give it much of a review. 10 minutes even further south of that is Bristols, which was also BYOB last time I went, but without all the high class scenery. Not worth the drive.

Overall I'd say if you are close to downtown, or coming from north of town, the Living Room is your best shot. If you are down south, head to Cheeks.

Sorry I havent had time to post in a while... here's a few updates...

Long time lurker first time poster. I'm in the Cincy area, but had business in Dayton yesterday. Checked the Dayton forum out and then after my meeting ended, decided to check out the local scene. I manged to break away from the Christmas festivities for a quick run to the store and took a little detour on the way. Around 12 or so.
