Checked out Mistys last week. Same old shit, strippers past their prime.The only one worth tipping was Rose and that other one that I haven't seen in awhile. I think her name was Samantha or Tabitha. She used to work at MistyII, shes about 4'10 nice c-cups and solid muscular legs. Went in the back booths with Jan spent about $8 for HJ, complete with loud fake moaning (her,not me).

I stop by Mistys stome times. Although the dancers there usually suck, Rose does make it worth while. She is hot and doesn't usually ask for much tipping. I have many fond memories of this pace way back when it was Fantasy Island, then Nite Lite. When it chnaged over to Mistys, it seem like it was going to get better. However, it didn't. I am guessing it is about time for the place to chnage again.
One cool thing is that Linda, formally of Cache (next door), moved there. Its nice to stay in touch with her from time to time. I haven't spoke to her is\n sometime as the last time I was there, she was sitting down with someone (not in back).
I am thinking it is time to stop by again to say hi.

ATYeah, used to be a time when the parking lot was packed from pauhana till closing. I went there about a year ago, when it wasn't quite as dead as it looks now. There was a couple of major SEA hotties in the back stage, and the usual mix of Poynesians on the first stage. At that time it looked VN owned and run.
I really miss the times when Sundance always had a few hot chicks. When Shadow disappeared it was all down hill. I miss Shadow. What pissed me off about that place is they charge(ed) me premium price for Crown Royal. Bogus.

I can't remember Linda's exact measurements either, but I think she was a little taller, maybe 5-2", long straight black hair, fair complexion, petite, saggy B cups, 32 years old(something around there) but in the dark she could pass for late 20's. She is the only attractive girl in that bar that I have seen but I like spinner's.
Rose had/has a much hotter bod but her face has always not been that great. Her body was killer when she was at Stargazer but I have to give her props cause her body still rocks ten years later. The rest of the girls are not worth looking at like one of our brothers posted.

No, I haven't tried Jan. Not sure who she is. I am guessing she is the other small asian girl who occasionally works there. She doesn't dance much on stage, has long, straight, black hair, A-cups, petite, maybe 5'2" with a somewhat plain but cute face? If that is Jan, I know she plays but she stays away from local guys.

ThanksSahara - used to be best bang for the buck and my personal favorite. the women were decent looking, and if you are into local girls (my fetish since I see haoles all the time in mainland strip clubs), this is the place to go. Also, the women tend to drain you less, and you used to get alot of touching from them. They have no cover.
Deja Vu - IMHO, it's a tourist trap. I always feel ripped off there. The burn-rate is too high.
Fem nu - Probably has the best looking women on the island. And, there are alot of people there in a given night. Burn-rate is decent, but better than Deja Vu. The place is crowded, so you can watch others tip and get some shows free. I recommend this as the place to go for downtown. Cover.
Saigon Passion - The women there are mostly Vietnamese who worked at the infamous Misty II. Therefore, they are a little bit more touchy and feely compare to other clubs in town. No cover, but it doesn't get crowded. So you will be hounded to buy beer. Otherwise, bang-for-the-buck, it's pretty high since you can get some touching.
Exotic Nights - I think it's an inferior version of Fem Nu. I went there once, the cover was pretty high, and the quality of women working there were not good. But, 2 years ago, alot of women there were busted for prostitution, so maybe the "bang for the buck is there".

ThanksYou should reserve the room upstairs of Centerfolds. You won't be dissapointed at all. I've been to 5 bachelor parties there, and each time it gets better. The last bachelor party I attented there was a head count of 54 guys and 7 girls. Damn those girls can get down and dirty, trust me your friend will think twice about getting married.

I think you should stick to the bars by the convention center. Your best bet is Femme nu. General rule of thumb is,the further away from town the more older and uglier the women get!
I would suggest you go to Rock Za or Femme Nu. Still have lot of women, however; there is a no touching policy. If you want to go wild you may have to go on the Keeaumoku strip. Maybe hit one of the clubs with the porn stars in town.

Visited Saigon Passion III last night (Thursday night) about 9:30 PM. It was pretty sad. Only four girls working. It appeared that the dancers weren't stripping. Girl sat with me, but was not pretty in the face. My drink was $5. I left after one drink.

With 2 weeks of vacation decided to check out some of the SBs that I haven't been to for awhile. Checked out Saigon Passion III last night, slow with only me and about 7 other guys and 4 chicks. The girls were tipping the dancers and making alot of noise! They were pretty rowdy, one of them was tipping one of the dancers; and had a guy on bolohead row. The guy was tipping the dancer and one of the girls was yelling " YEAH FUCK THAT PUSSY,FUCK THAT WET PUSSY" the owner was getting all irritated and told them to shut up. He then went to bolohead row and told them to be quiet or he was goin kick them out. They toned down the yelling and stayed for 10 more minutes and left. Nothing special on stage and in the bar so I left too. Checked out Romentei,Club Asia and Club Niagara; actually just popped in and left. I was looking for Lisa/Sophia, didn't see her in any of those bars;so I didn't stay. Headed to Mistys for a night cap, arrived at about 11:30. Walk in and see all the girls sitting at the front bar. Headed towards the bathroom and passed Vanessa,Jan,couple of hags and a girl who I have never seen before. She was cute,about 5'4,ehu hair,slim body, in her 20s and I think she was viet. Washed my hands and headed towards the stage where I saw Vanessa dancing. I gotta say that Vanessa may be getting older,but DAMN she still look GOOD! Was tipping her and making small talk with her. She wanted me to go in the back with her and I told her next time. I asked her how much and she told me$4 for just lap dance and $8 for play with my dick. Wanted to but was trying to conserve money. She kinda got irritated and told me that I always say that and that the last time I told her I wanted to go in the back with her, I wasn't there after she finished her set. Felt bad but didn't go in the back with her. Finished tipping her and was going to leave. Was out door and heard Jan calling me, went back to see what she wanted. Ended up going in the back with her and getting HJ. Total damage for whole night $86! Damn, I gotta spend more wisely! Peace!

Last day of vacation decided to check out Exotic nights. Was surprised when I drove by the front parking lot ,was almost empty. Back in the day it was usually packed and had people lining up waiting to get in. Paid seven dollars to get in and was pleasantly surprised to find the place half empty! Pretty decent line-up, better then the girls from Mistys. One of the girls that was on the center stage had mean ass cellulite going! Went up to tip the wild looking girl with the crew cut. Thought that was Loretta,but after hearing her talk;realized it couldn't be her. Also saw Michelle/Selena from Stargazer,MistyII and Sundance. She was sitting with some Haole dude who was buying her choke drinks! When I left she was still getting drinks from him!

Went the other night, and it was pretty much the same as before; $7.00 cover with no drink, $6.50 beers, $20.00 table and private dances. Rain/Reign was still there with her pole act. Mostly haole chicks, but there was a local girl named "Asia" that looked pretty good. The girls aren't as hot as Femme Nu, except for the waitresses(but they don't take anything off), and the beers are way expensive, but the place is still pretty nice, and bolohead row doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Went the other night, and it was pretty much the same as before; $7.00 cover with no drink, $6.50 beers, $20.00 table and private dances.
2650Back in January, I went to Paradise Showgirls located on Keeaumoku Street. Is this the same club? It cost me $5 to get in the door on a weeknight. I was impressed with how beautiful the interior design was compared to the other clubs in town. It looked high-end. The crowd was pretty sparse compared to the more popular clubs on Kapiolani. Table dances were $20 and private dances were $40. The private dances were in a small booth with a small table between your legs. I tried some private dances with Aliyah (who is a Go Go dancer) and Angela. There was no contact allowed, but at least the lighting was decent. IMO, these air dances are probably the most expensive in town and are overpriced. If you are talking about the same club, then it is good if they lowered the price on their private dances to $20.

I visited Deja Vu in Waikiki earlier this week for the first time ever. I parked at the Zoo and walked down Kuhio avenue to get there. The cover charge is $10, but you can get in for free with the pass from the Deja Vu website. Apparently, drinks are just $2 on Tuesdays, so the up-front fees were quite reasonable. It was pretty packed. Just about everyone else there looked like they were tourists. There were a bunch of young men from Japan sitting at the stage as well as three Japanese women. I had a good time just watching the huge grins on those guys faces when the dancer came by them to get their dollar tip. I also enjoyed watching the reactions of those young Japanese women as they tried to conceal their nervousness while getting a good glimpse of the dancer on stage--They would look at each other and giggle.
For the size of the crowd, it was surprising that they only had one dancer on the stage at a time. I usually like sitting at the stage, but I just sat back a bit this time.
There were private dances available for $25 each, so I got a few dances from Lisa, Diana, and Paradise. Lisa is a white girl from New York. She gave good private table dances in spite of there being almost no contact. Diana who is a young black girl with a lovely smile (also from New York) was apparently originally a waitress at the club. That night was the first time that she was working as a dancer, and I was her first private dance. She was wearing a lei and would place it around your neck while she danced for you. I thought that was a nice touch. After I left, I realized that I should have told her that she forgot to kiss me when she placed the lei around my head. Her dancing was quite energetic because she is used to dancing at local clubs. I almost got exhausted just watching her dance, but I still enjoyed it. Paradise is a pretty local girl of Hawaiian, Filipino, Tahitian ancestry. She apparently performs polynesian dances with a group in places such as Japan, and supposedly only works at Deja Vu a couple of times per month. She has a beautiful toned body from going surfing every day.
I enjoyed myself at the club despite the lack of contact during the dances--This is definitely not Deja Vu Las Vegas. The private dances are a bit high in price, and the upstairs room is dark and not really that "private." They also have half-hour and one-hour dances, but I imagine that it would just be more of the same for a slightly better price per song. Still, I can't complain. I can think of a lot of worse ways to spend my evening than looking at beautiful unclothed women. I will probably go back and visit the club some time in the future.

I am pretty sure the sign says Paradise Show World with a little banner on the bottom that says "Showgirls". This is the club that used to be Penthouse Showgirls until Penthouse told them not to use the name from what I heard. I actually only had some table dances @ $20 a pop. I assumed that the privates were $20 also as that's how much they were when I had them when they were called Penthouse.

I don't quite understand some friends I have who have the intention of going to strip bars, KBs, and AMPs with the intention of finding a gf or wife as their primary reason...the girls that work these places don't serve us with the thought in the back of their minds that we want to marry them- we want instant stimulation of sorts for a fee to even free. Initially speaking. However certain situations can arise, just don't be surprised if it blows up in your face.

Shit, I knew I forgot something! The bar was Exotic Nights,sorry for leaving out the name in my post.
There are those one in a thousand type of girl in KBs, that can thrive in the real world if given half a chance, but you need a super acute sense of judgment and also have to be in the right place at the right time. It is almost a full time job, and lots of tall glasses down the river just to find one of these. I hate to say it but many of these chicks are not very bright.

I don't know if she likes you or not, but I think you should push the issue, and take her up on her offer if you like her. Otherwise, you will just have been spending money on her for nothing. You are probably the same way, but when I go into a bar, I'm looking to see who I want to do. I don't just want to flirt with these girls and converse. Besides, if you see them too often without making your move, you start to become their friend or just another customer, and then you'll probably never nail them. Remember this, it is always better and easier to bang them first then be friends than the other way around. I know it's easier said than done, but if you have the opportunity, you should at least try, and at least you would have saved some time and money if you do find out she was just yanking your chain.
That's just my take on your situation, so do with it what you will.

Didn't you start a V-Bar thread? Hate to generalize but I find V-girls a little colder and more mercenary than K-girls. Check this girl out slowly. If all she wants is to see you in the bar, its your typical M.O. to milk your wallet. On the other hand, they are out there trying to earn a living and they are also human. If they work 7 days a week like many K-girls, then they have little time outside the bar environs to meet guys.
No need to flame--there are many nice girls out there working in hostess bars.

Thanks for the advice and warnings. I am taking this situation as it comes. I apologize for putting this in the SB section instead of VB section. I went and checked her out after work and the bar she was at was getting ready to close. She told me to wait for her after they closed up,but it was late and I just wanted to get home. So I left and the next time I saw her she asked why I didn't wait for her. She told me that I could've gone to her place and she sounded like she was going to put out. She thought I was shy, but I don't really know or trust her so I didn't wait for her to finish work.I'm still trying to find out if she is for real or just trying to play me.

Paradise (PH) closed this week. The new owner's are suppossed to open next week. The new owners will try to keep it as an SC. Deja Vu is set to close at the end of this month, but I just saw in the paper that the new construction at the Intl Marketplace has been delayed. Wonder if this will cause the owners to allow the existing businesses to stay on month to month. Sounds like Ala Moana huh...
Went to the old Paradise last night. There were a couple of cuties in there. 1 Asian, 1 Hapa, and one White chick. It's pretty good right now since it's still kinda empty and you can get a little more attention. I'm not into the bars that are over-crowded. We'll see how long it stays empty or how soon it gets "discovered".

I dunno why I keep coming back here, like reported in some of the previous posts;lots of low grade strippers. Wish that the girl in the black BeBe t-shirt was up on stage. Again like before, tipped Michelle the whole time I was on bolohead row. What a rip-off she lifted her garter every 5 seconds! Also bought her 2 drinks and she told me she made one porno movie thats only available on the mainland. She said she did five guys and I asked her what the name of the movie was,but place was so noisy couldn't hear what she was saying.Told me we could go to her place next week for $2. Don't think shes worth that much and might quit going to this dump! Unless Loretta stops by!

I think the name of the place is Tres Jolie or something close to that. It is located on Kona Street behind Femme Nu.
Went there the other afternoon, looking to kill time and have a drink. There was a tall dancer on stage. I am not sure what ethnic background except she was asian.
Anyway the reason for this post. While sitting at the bar, a hostess sits next to me and starts chatting. She then mentions that the girl stripping on stage used to be a guy, and that she had the whole 9 yards of surgery. I was like "what the f**k", and the hostess claims that it is the truth, and that they have lost many customers because of that.
Has anyone other there heard of this? Is it true?
If it is watch out if you are only looking for 100% real girls.

Just wanted to update my fellow SC mongers. Most of the ex-DV girls have split up between Club 939 and FemmeNu. IMO FN got the best of the bunch.
They have also added a private dance area @25/dance. The dance area does not allow any contact so not worth the money. Rumor is that DV is trying to reopen in Waikiki but it may be awhile. 939 also has adjusted their private dance menu. Min 2 songs@$50. I never realized the DV had so many haole dancers with that much ink, not my style. After seeing a lot of the ex-DV dancers now, I don't go to DV, I think a lot of these ladies have some serious substance abuse problems. Thin, wired, hyper, aggressive ladies who only want to hustle.

You must be in really good shape. :-) Last week, I was in Misty I. Most of the ladies there are in their 30's or 40's, but they are attractive. Like most places, buying a lady a drink costs 0.2. There is also a more private section where drinks cost 0.4 and a HJ is possible.
I spoke with a local Chinese/White hapa dancer named Love who just moved to Misty I from Club Sin City. She also told me that Sin City had closed. She speculated that someone at the liquor commission hadn't been bribed enough. [Of course, that would imply that they are corrupt.] She is hoping that Sin City will reopen because business is slow for her Misty I since she will not go into the back area of the club. Love also told me that Rock Za wouldn't hire her because they are looking for more asian dancers to balance out all of their white dancers. According to her all of the Filipino dancers at Rock Za defected to Femme Nu due to some conflict.
I am sorry to hear that Club By Me has closed, they had one thin attractive dancer working there named Lolita whom I was just getting to know. She had told me a while back that she was going to be on vacation for much of August. I wonder if she was the bar's main attraction. Maybe when she left for a few weeks, the club's revenue dropped. Then again, maybe they will reopen when she returns from her vacation. Otherwise, she is in for a big surprise when she gets back.
Last week, I also tried calling Deja Vu in Waikiki to find out if they were open, but the phone number was out of service.
Things must really be rough right now for the ladies who have been working at the clubs that have closed. There are not that many other places that they can go to. Also, some of them might not make the cut at other clubs due to their age or other factors. This is too bad, because in talking to many of the ladies in the bars and clubs, I have discovered that apparently a lot of them are raising children alone.
Also, the outlawing of any physical contact during lap dances has really hurt the clubs and dancers. There are only so many air dances that most guys would be willing to sit through.

This is a club that has 3 separate staging areas (technically 3 separate clubs) but rotates the same dancers. Once, I tried walking from one area to another with a beer in my hand, and I got stopped. Apparently for legal reasons involving their liquor licenses, you cannot take your drinks from one area to the other even though they are right next to each other.
Anyway, some of the private booths at the club(s) mentioned above are more secluded than in other venues. This increases the chances of there being at least some physical contact rather than just 100% air dances. Of course, that depends upon the customer and the dancer.
From a customer's point of view, admission is a steep $28. However, this includes vouchers for 3 drinks at the bar. The benefit of having such a high admission price is that the ratio of customers to dancers is better than in many other clubs.
In these clubs, most of the dancers' income probably comes from private dances. In contrast, at RockZa and Femme Nu, it looks like their primary income comes from dancing on the stages. That is why they keep lifting their garter belt asking for a tip so many times per song. IMHO, this is a very distracting practice. It is like a penny arcade where you have to keep dropping coins into the slot. At Club RockZa, I once sat in front of a dancer on stage who milked me for perhaps $15-20 for a single song. In contrast, at the Crystal Palace, you can probably get away with a dollar tip per song. However, you are certainly free to be as generous as you wish. I generally ration out my dollars and wait until I find a girl I want a private dance from. Even if you are only after eye candy, Crystal Palace/Centerfolds/Wild Horse Showroom is probably a better deal even with the steep admission price.

Thanks for the feedback East, Night, and Jack. I'll make note of all of that and probably check things out for myself as well. Where she is now, she makes virtually all of her money from lap dances, and she's very good at those. I don't think it will matter to her whether she makes her money on stage or in private booths, as long as she can make enough to live comfortably. Ultimately, she'll have to come out here for a vacation and go see the clubs for herself and see what she thinks. Which reminds me, I need to call her and see how her vacation planning is going.

I went by Club 939 (formerly Paradise Showgirls) on Wednesday. I found out that there is no cover charge and you can enter the club for free. Needless to say, this made the joint much more crowded than when I last visited several months ago. On my previous visit, the parking lot was nearly empty, but not this time. I got a beer for $3 from the bar along with exchanging a twenty for some ones. After standing around for a while, I decided to sit at one of the stages for a while.
I found the dancers to be attractive, but not particularly remarkable. The lighting was a little darker than I would have preferred, but that seems to be the case with most Strip Clubs. The darkness helps to hide the dancers' physical flaws. With my personal tastes, I actually thought that the waitresses were more attractive than many of the dancers. I also noticed that there were also a few female customers in the club who were having a good time.
This is a good place to visit without having to spend a lot of money. I was there for at least an hour and actually only spent around $10 because some of the dancers were ignoring me in favor of other customers who were throwing money at them. Pricewise, visiting this place is a pretty good deal (especially compared to the $150+ that I spent soon afterwards when I stepped foot into one of the hostess bars on Kapiolani). Buying a hostess a drink at $20 each is an awfully expensive way of getting a little female attention.

I don't have a set amount that I spend at a hostess bar. I just walk in the door and then go with the flow. However, I do come with some funds just in case. If you buy yourself a few drinks and buy a hostess seven $20 drinks, that already comes to around $150. Since I am a newbie at this, it would probably be smarter for me to show up with less than $100, so that I can more easily cut my losses.
I only started visiting hostess bars around January or so of this year. I went to Club Shining Star out of curiosity and got my wallet emptied by the shell game that they played. It was fun and interesting, but a very costly experience. I sat at the bar, and soon after I ordered my drink, the attractive bartender asked me if I would buy her a drink. I figured why not, so I did. A UH game was on TV, and I was watching it off and on. Suddenly, I was introduced to a Korean girl, and we were shown to a booth. I thought to myself, "This is getting interesting." I sat with this girl who could barely speak any English and tried to establish some rapport. She was fairly attractive, and she told me that she had come to Hawaii with her friend only one or two weeks previously. They had spend some time on the West Coast before moving to Hawaii.
This girl induced me to buy her friend some drinks, an older woman a drink (a Mama?), and Kenji (the club owner) a drink. There was an older woman who came by the table a couple of times with a basket filled with packages of tangerines, chips, and other snacks. The girl suggested that I buy a bag of tangerines for $10 and then proceeded to peel off the skin and fed me the segments of fruit with her hands. It was a cool experience. How often does a grown man get the opportunity to have a woman feed him? Most guys were probably in diapers the last time that happened.
Several times after buying me a drink, she gave me a kiss. First lightly, then later with a little tongue action. This created a bit of a Pavlovian response on my part: Buy the girl a drink and get a nice kiss. I could tell from her body language that the kiss meant little or nothing to her, but I still enjoyed it since at that time, I hadn't kissed a girl in a while. I also did a little bit of groping, but being that it was my first time in such a strange environment, I tried to be respectful. Anyway, I pretty much emptied my wallet that night.
Towards the end of my experience, I was told that a private room was available for several hundred dollars. I don't recall the exact figure. Since I had nearly depleted my bankroll by that time, I let them know. Kenji just chuckled slightly. Soon thereafter, this girl hastily escorted me to the exit. She seemed extremely eager to get me to leave. I speculated that maybe as a new hostess, she was afraid to go to a private room with me. It was almost closing time, so I doubt that her haste in showing me the exit was because she wanted to find another customer to go into the private room with her.
I learned a valuable lesson that night. It was like taking a Ph.D. course in hostess bars. I have only gone to a few other hostess bars or strip bars with hostesses since then. When I get the chance, I try to explore different places. I try to manage my funds wisely, but you don't always think rationally in the presence of these charming ladies.
I know that AMPs provide as close to a sure thing as you can get, but I am not all that enamored by their "slam, bang, thank you ma'am" approach. I prefer to get to know a girl as a person and feel like I have at least some kind of personal connection with her before having any serious physical relationship with her. However, I am beginning to understand how jaded many of these hostesses are, and how they will say almost anything to get you to spend more money on them. Consequently, I appreciate the advice that I have recently received within the Vietnamese Bar thread. I have learned the hard way that YMMV is very much the rule in the hostess bar scene.
I understand the sexual power that women can have over men, but I have also often found myself in the strange situation in Strip Bars of sitting at a stage with a dancer who I have absolutely no interest in whatsoever. It is in these situations that I can look at things rationally and see how a dancer tries to seduce you into throwing more money her way. I smile to myself because I realize that no matter what this dancer does, she has absolutely no power over me. I am putting a dollar on the stage out of politeness rather than a desire for attention. Plus, it is easier than getting up and changing seats.

So what is the most that you have ever spent at a hostess bar?
The most I spent was probably $120, I try to limit the amount I spend by taking only enough money for that night. Like if I cash my check,I might withdraw $160 and budget $60 for gas and food. The $100 leftover is for going to bars and that way I don't get tempted to spend more then that amount.Its hard though, I went over my budget the last time when this girl I sat with started feeling me up and started sticking her tongue in my ear! Becareful out there!

If I see a girl who might be a possibility, I spend some time with her to feel out the situation. Most time it doen't work out, once in a while it does. The drinks for her increases the night's spending, but I can go night after night and not buy a girl a drink. Making well thought out choices is critical to not wasting time and money. Usually, but not always, I'll have observed a girl for a few nights before making a move, but sometimes there is no room for hesitation. If she is not happening, its time to bail. Usually, for me, it can sometimes take up to 3 visits with a girl to know if she is the one. Often though, I reject them on the first meeting. I'm not into groping, because I am looking for consensual sex. I'm not interested in a girl who will allow groping. If she is not happening, its time to bail. Often though, I reject them on the first meeting.
Other times, I am in the mood to carouse and have fun and have no other specific goals. On those nights, $150 to $250 is not unreasonable. Sometimes I run into a girl I have been with, and am obliged to buy them a drink. I hate that, so I buy and quickly move along.
Think in terms of football. They are not running around and throwing the ball willy-nilly. They have a game plan. They have set strategies and flexibility in executing them. They know the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent and work on them to acheive victory. This is my strategy. It is part art, and part science.
P.S. I have nevered mongered in a KB or VB but wouldn't mind trying. I usually carry 4 to 6 bills when I go out for an evening.

I don't go out as often as I used to, but when I am on the hunt, I spend very little. I have a goal: to find a girl who WANTS to sleep with me.It is good that you go into a bar with a gameplan. I have to learn to do that more consistently and not get sidetracked. I agree that it would be more satisfying to get a woman to give herself to you freely. That means that she probably likes you for who you are and not just for what is in your wallet. It means that the woman wants to be in your company--She is not just working you. It also means that she will probably be more enthusiastic during your encounter.
In my recent visits to various places this year, I have met several women who have expressed an interest in spending time with me outside of the bar. Unfortunately, they were all at least in their 40's and not really what I was looking for. Understand that age was not the only reason that I did not accept their offers (e.g. one woman was clearly a drunk). Some guys might think that I am crazy for not taking advantage of the situation, but I don't want to string a woman along unless I feel at least a certain amount of attraction for her.
These women are nearing the end of their "careers" in the bartending or hostessing or dancing business, IMO. As they get older and their beauty begins to fade, it is no doubt more difficult for them to find good customers. So far, the one's who have made me serious offers (e.g. a couple of women even gave me their cell phone numbers), have not been what I am looking for. I am convinced that one older dancer is totally smitten with me because every time I go by and pay her a visit, she wants me to call her to take her out. She even invited me to her home just before the club closed even though she has a child living with her.
I have met a few prospects who interested me, but several of them have moved on and I can no longer find them. I am trying to train myself to make a move sooner since these women tend to come and go frequently. It is not uncommon for them to not be around on your subsequent visits.
I have also been scammed by some women, so I know the difference between a legitimate offer and a scam designed to get you to buy them more drinks. There is one older Japanese woman at Tres Jolie that everyone needs to avoid like the plague. Her name is Domiko Oshiro. I met her several months ago. She gets you to buy her drinks and then gives you her phone number to call her the next day. She says that she wants to meet you at her apartment to spend the whole day together. She points to a nearby condo where she claims that she resides. I called the phone number and discovered that it belonged to someone else. The woman on the other end was confused and said that I was the second guy who had called her recently. I remember someone else writing about her as well on the forum.
I am still learning through experience. I appreciate all the insights that are shared on these forums by guys like you. I can learn from other people's experiences--good and bad. Hopefully, this will help me to make fewer mistakes of my own. Also, maybe others can learn from my experiences.

Realize that this is standard procedure with girls trying to hook a "regular" customer. They hang out with you, or have you buy them lunch or something, and will call early evening expecting you to come to the bar that same night (with cash, of course). I'm not saying this was your situation, but it is something to think about.
The lines get blurred in the KB scene. Some girls will love you, sex you, care for you, and still expect you to see them at the bar. Other girls will want you to save your money, and stay out of the bars. Most just want your money. To complicate matters, there will be girls that truely have a affection for you, but still, they only want your money. There are a million stories out there in the Naked City. An acute understanding of human nature in general, and women in particular will go a long way to keeping one out of trouble.
On your second point, I feel the same way, so I spend a lot of time observing and analyzing the girl in question.

Well, thanks to Peckerwood mentioning the club, I visited Club Sun for the first time on Wednesday after having gone to the special Sunset on the Beach in Waikiki which featured the Season 2 premiere of LOST and the premiere of the new show Invasion.
Club Sun is located in the middle of an industrial area of sorts on the corner of Kawaiahao Street and Cummins. It looked as if it was the only business open for at least a block in each direction. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere even though Ward is just a block away. I walked into the place and noticed that it was pretty small. It reminded me in some ways of Talk of the Town in Las Vegas. There were some booths with a very narrow aisle in between them. There was also a single stage on the right and a bar past the booths. I noticed that there were quite a few brothers sitting together having a drink.
I walked up to the bar and purchased a drink. I noticed that there were two women on stage, but they remained fully clothed. Apparently they do this when no one is seated stage side. All of the customers were sitting in booths except for one brother at the bar. After I had my beverage, I asked for $20 in change and headed for the stage. I was able to interact and talk with three different dancers--Luscious, Carmen, and Angela. Luscious is a beautiful 21 year old local girl who likes to shake her booty. She is fair-skinned, but I couldn't tell if she was a light-skinned black or something else. She is petite with small breasts and a smooth white behind. She has one tattoo on her right back shoulder. I would rate her about an 8 in looks which is very high for my standards.
Carmen is a big black girl. She seemed to enjoy her dancing. A couple of other guys came up to the stage while she was doing her set so she got some decent tips. Angela is a white girl. I agreed to buy her just one drink. We sat down at a booth and chatted for a while. She said that their club is usually more crowded during the week than on weekends which seemed rather unusual. She said that younger guys tended to come by on the weekends and the tips aren't as good for the dancers.
The atmosphere of the club was interesting since there were so many local brothers there, but I felt quite comfortable. The small size of the club makes things seem more intimate and cozy. There was one white guy at a corner booth near the door who was with an asian hostess with a cute voice that sounded like something out of a cartoon. Even though the booth was open, I was probably the only one who could see what was going on from my seat at the stage. At one point, it looked as if the hostess was going down on the guy based on the position of her body in relation to his. However, I could only see her back bent over so I can't say for sure what was really going on. In any case, the guy seemed to be having a good time.
Keep posting the names of strip bars that haven't been mentioned yet. I will try to visit them as I get the chance.

Since my birthday was on thursday, I was planning on spending some $$$ at Club Asia and Mistys. Since Club Asia was so crowded,I decided to just cruise at Mistys. Same story like in the previous posts I made about my trips at Mistys. Sat down ordered my drinks and went to the back booths with Jan. She said that she just got back from Vegas and lost $23,000! Finally, has anyone been to Club Sahara? What is that club like? I notice that the parking lot is often full of cars. Who or what is the big draw over there?

Dancers is still open on Sand Island.
Went by Wahiawa and the SC on Kam Hwy is named Club Marie. It is under new managment, there were no dancers on Sat.
What happened to Femme nu and Rock za. I haven't been in a while and went last month, the girls seem to be getting worse. Now all they do is carry a pillow and lay there on the stage. Some don't even take off everthing. How can they just lay their and call it a strip bar. Anyway their was a girl there named Janet who is a prety hot korean with tats. I found out that Club By Me re-opened a few days ago after extensive renovations. It is an unadvertised soft opening. They will have their official grand opening in about two weeks. The new club owner is Sora. She bought the club from Ellen.
The club is much more open and well lit than it was before. The booths have low backs and the club has a layout that makes the place look almost like a restaurant. The only difference is the bar on the far end, and the elevated dance stage that now sits in the middle of the floor. I would have preferred if they had kept the high seat backs in the booths. Now, pretty much everything is open to view from anywhere in the room. On the plus side, the low backs plus some mirrors on the wall make the place look more spacious than it did before. There is also at least one private room off to the side.
When I was there, there were only two dancers present and a handful of customers. This is probably because most people don't know that the place has re-opened.
On an side note, Club Sin City appears to be closed at the moment.

Thanks for the update. I visited Centerfolds recently (a week or two ago) after not having been there for about a month. I was surprised to discover that most of the girls I knew weren't there. I was wondering what was going on. I was given an explanation by one of the only women I knew who was still there. However, she didn't cite the reason that you provided. Either she was covering up for management, or they told her a story to pass on to others. I am going to visit 939 in the next week or two to see who I recognize. Thanks again. This week, I went to club 939 and one of the girls confirmed that a bunch of them had come over from Centerfolds. I didn't ask for more details. I also spoke with a couple of dancers who told me that they had worked at Deja Vu in Waikiki until it closed. I got one table dance on the main club floor for $20. I also went for a few private dances. The prices for these are $30 for one song, $50 for two songs, and $100 for 15 minutes. I tried the two song option. There was some limited contact during the dance, but of course YMMV. One good thing is that they don't seem to clip their songs, so a two song private dance might take as much as 10 minutes. I went on a week day and admission was still free.
I also went to Club By Me which I believe has been renamed Club Concierge. There were two ladies dancing--Christine and Lolita. I was told that the Korean owner Sora had also been dancing earlier that evening. I was wondering why she was wearing short shorts when I first walked in. I would have enjoyed seeing what she looks like on stage--Next time. Apparently Sora, requires the dancers to ask for frequent drinks when they sit with customers. If you visit the club, bear this in mind. If you just want to have a good time at minimal expense, sit at the bar or at the stage (or in a booth without a dancer). The stage if fairly well lit, so the view is pretty nice from anywhere in the room. I was told that there are around 5-6 girls who are dancing there on various days (but not all on the same day). There was a bouncer at the door who may ask to check your ID. Admission is free.

I wish I knew how shitty this place has gotten before I decided to go. Nothing to do so stopped by at around 10:30. Not crowded like how it used to be,scanned the place and checked to see if there were any girls worth tipping. Most of these girls need to go to a gym or see Jenny Craig. There were private rooms and high back booths. The girls there were much more willing to allow you to get close - in the booth or even on the stage. Let your mind wander and whatever you come up with was possible or it happened at Sundance. Oh the stories I could tell.
The manager/waiter/bouncer is Robert. He's usually cool with his regular customers but I think he's had to turn enforcer after they clamped down.
No fun going there anymore since the "change in service." I also got concerned when I found out that some of them were still in high school. They claim to be 18 y/o's but did not want to take a chance. Not sure if that's an issue elsewhere but I am too old to take chances.

porky's was in kailua town near the library. address: 32 maluniu ave. it' was actually a "sports bar" - there was an incident there a few years ago when they discovered really **** girls were dancing/servicing dudes there. but for the most part the girls there fit the name of the place ... they were porky.
i think now it's a cocktail lounge or something called kailua palace. don't worry, you didn't miss much.

I remember when this was a favorite of mine. The big black guy is ok and the girls were pretty loose. Got a lot of licks in while the girls were on stage. With the private dances you could get a lot more.
Hawaii by Night used to have some decent looking girls, and one in particular, Alena, would grind your lap until you nutted (using her hands if needed). Alena was very pretty but had rock-hard bolt-ons.
Now Alena is gone, and the past few times I've been there the quality of the girls has definitely gone down and the laps are not great mileage.
