Went to Splash. Not many hostesses and somewhat slow; a few average ones but no hotties like before. One looked like a thick man and another looked like an average bobora; not the kind that would make you whip-out a 20. Ivy was there but doesn't look as good as Cleopatra days. I didn't like her attitude when I politely turned her down for a drink so I don't intend to give her further business anytime soon. She tried to be nice afterwards but too late.
Very little eye candy at Crystal Palace; staff partly composed of girls from other bars such as Moonflower and Tomorrow. Some fuglies and newbies-in-training got peddled around by old ladies but no takers; one could kinda tell these girls would not have been any good. Chanel formerly of Evergreen got an unsightly IMO nose job. I don't know what they're thinking.
Only saw one 40+ k-lady in Lu-lu Ra-ra; didn't go in.

Went to splash, camelot, and butterfly. All slow. Evergreen was unusually busy after 2am. We still had fun, got to have more time with some beauties and lay some groundwork.
I been participating on the boycott and its been very good for me. My number one complaint about the kbs are the fake/waterdown drinks. So here; 's how I do it:
I tell bgs that I'm not going to buy them ladies drinks but if they want to meet me after work at a regular bar, I'll take care of them. When we meet up after work, they order a shot of crown ($6) and I give them a $20 to pay for their drink and tell them they keep the change. That way, I know they drinking real drinks, no water down bs. And they still make about the same amt because they don't have to tip out or give house cut. And most girls who agree to meet outside the bar are available for sex too. The trick is not to treat them like hookers. Instead, you give them 'cab money' so they can get home, like $100 even tho they just live down the street. Tell them they keep the change and then they don't feel like you paying them for sex.
Been doing it for a while and now girls will leave with me right away to go drink at a regular bar. Try it and PM me if you sucessful.

Friday night recon revealed: Carnival in Kalihi seems to be getting a better crop of ladies recently. My favorite wasn't working so I moved on.I've been there recently and I don't think I saw any of the women in the better crop catagory. Can you please help a brotha out and maybe drop a name or two in case I go back?

New Casino has a thick (everything especially thighs) bartendress, her name is J (Jae, Jay...), pretty young and hot, built for AMPing, SW-ing, would blow Kayla out of the water if she went indie. No Anna (again). Extremely dead, 3 or 4 customers, few hostesses, nothing to make me wanna blow 20s.
Butterfly had quadruple the girls and 8 times the customers. Nothing smokin' hot but better than the rest of the Makaloa kbars. 4/15 Thursday will be another theme night, doll night or something.
Evergreen had no girls (only the older ones) and no customers and it was past midnight; that's about the worst I've seen it.
Moonflower had some unfamiliar girls but they looked like assholes. Camelot and Maya's had a couple decent ones but not good like before.
1st Time used to have a platoon of chicks by the door; not now. The only girl there was Coco but she was bartending. The rest were 30's and 40+++ kine. Place was kinda slow.
Checked the Iris/Carnival/Hollywood strip - waste of time and gas; no girls, just older ones and all 3 places were super slow.
By the way usually I report in order but this time it's scrambled, sorry.

Petite, cute, bubbly, funny and has a cute bouncy walk. Also went by Bianca at one bar since already had another Ivy and yes is now at Eve bartending from Wednesday with Chong and does work floor most of the other days. Popular lady!

Stopped by Carnival (Kalihi) around 9pm because of reports of newer girls. No talent in my opinion. Mostly older 40s and 50s. Not bad if you like that age range, I don't. Stick w/ the ones in town.
RE: Ivy. Yea, she's a Certified Massage Therapist. She was very popular at Cleopatra. Before that she first started at Emerald City about 2 years ago. Has been popular ever since. Unless you a client in Maui I don't think you'll get a professional massage. I doubt she plays.

She told me something similar, except she massages here and on Maui. Claims to have hundreds of clients. When I mentioned I enjoy shoulder rubs that's when she told me about her huge caseload :)

PM is appreciated.I think most kbs are leased. They are charged an upfront fee and collect monthly rent, usually for 6 months. They also have to change the name of the establishment, as the original belongs to the owner. That's why there are a lot of "new" club so and so. I suspect most of the "owners" have local backing (sugar daddies). So they do ok by leasing out rather than selling.

PM is appreciated.The problem with buying a K Bar, they will want a large cash premium in addition to taking over the lease payments, and the time and difficulty in transferring a liquor license.
Suggestion: Open a new AMP or take over an existing AMP, with minimal investment. Make it look like and work like a hostess bar, with back room cubicles for relaxation. We get the advantage of checking out and interacting with the girls first, and relaxation/satisfaction at a reasonable going rate of the AMP. The girls will have a large monger market, maybe even a line outside. Recruit hot chicks, of course!

Where do you want to work? The further out from town, the less attractive the women get. Lease rent is very expensive as most of those master leases were made years ago and leased out to someone else, then someone else so the amount keeps going up. I think Butterfly pays @ $30k a month in lease rent.
You will also need to get licensed by the Honolulu Liquor Commission and they also oversee all transfers of ownership. If you do not have experience running a bar, they will give you a hard time on the transfer.
Start off small as that will be the easiest to manage. You can go to Moonflower and talk to Chanel as she's probably willing to lease out her bar.

Well, 1st stop was Kalihi. But not much going on so it was off to town. Checked Moonflower and saw that one who will take you to her place for $$ (did once. Not again.) Can't even remember her name. Camelot had a lot of young ones sitting on the couch with a bunch of old guys at the bar (like me). Maya's appeared slow but it was early (9pm). Back to Kalihi around 10.
Chocolate. Nope. Only good one was busy. Carnival, didn't go in. Green Tea. Had one nice one but she was busy (naturally). Pisces. Maybe 2 or 3. Iris. Nope. All in all a wasted night. Didn't quite get why Fire & Ice had a full parking lot. Last time I checked there was only 1 old one there. Sorry for no names but I didn't want to buy any of them drinks just to find out.

Went out early. 7:30. Destiny not bad, but by 9:30, no mo' wahine. Went to Red Carnation, Okay. Get wahine, but new so don't know action. Suck thumb drank my beer and left. Ended up at old Festival. Nice place, clean and inviting. But neva see real winnahs. YMMV. Back to Koreamoku.

Good luck.Well, I just read the back post just now also. She was very polite she I met her but then again don't know her as well as most of you. Lot of them I meet nowadays drink slow maybe a drink or two in a hour but some after about seeing them three to four times it's like one shot on five to ten minutes! For those it she ya! The others I keep. When I buy a girl a drink and they bring a shot, that's my Q to move on to another girl or bar. I'll test waters with I. V. See if zhe changes.
Talked to the other Ivy today and said she stayed in last night.
Funny both I. V. And Ivy worked at Cleopatra at the same time I think so that time Ivy had to go by Bianca since already had the other I. V.
Went out late last night but Splash, Eve, D. Amore, and Crystal P. Was slow. Want Japanese bar after and ended up at Aoyama but only had one beer since it was unusually busy. Headed to Kalihi to go 1st Time but just as I got there my J g/f rang me so rushed to her bar, got her one then we went to Ever and Napa and we had a few more then off to home. Ended up being good night with great company and buying only ons neko. Glad I went out.

Like previously posted she was from Emerald City. She's been working for a while and knows the game well. To me, she's not concidered a typical ROB, YMMV, but I've seen her be one totally! Did get some play but was in Kalihi, town is a different story. Also she claims to be a so called health nut but smokes cigs.??? But hey, it's a "all natural" cig. LOL!
Refuse to buy her a drink. Like H M stated, she shows her true colors.
Now there's going to be 2 Ivys working at Splash. Got me thinking, who was one of Batman's enemies?

Say, anybody at cameltoes yesterday? They said that they raided the gambling place upstairs yesterday. I'm surprised because that place has been in business for awhile, guess they finally got someone undercover to get inside the place.
Funny because at 6 pm channel 2 said that they arrested the gamblers at cameltoes and they showed a clip of the cameltoes sign. At 10 they corrected it and just showed the building.

Not that one, the one upstairs that you mentioned in your post. There used to be an AMP up there with a cherry shower but they were gone shortly after I found them.

I think you are referring to Manhattan Relaxation. It was on the second floor of that building and there was supposedly a gambling house on the ground floor.

Kept on tellin' my friends before we walked in, "Guys, I dunno about this place..."
From the outside, the girls look pretty good but inside are a mixed bag of hostesses (Either ultra hot or not. Populated mainly by the latter). Mostly the chunky and unattractive kind. Or at least from what I saw. House was packed, even on a Wednesday night. Beers weren't too expensive but the food they served was pretty bad. Esp the chips, which tasted like they were microwaved and flavorless.

Checked out Splash. The last time I been there was when it was 7 Kings. Parked by Cheers parking lot area. I didn't realize Cheers was closed down. They got bars there but be careful where and which ones. Some will get you on a tab and then you may owe a lot more than you think. Some are dives.
One time I was there, I was wandering around at night near my hotel and a cab driver sensed that I was mongering. He pulled over and said he would take me to a good place. He spoke English. Drove me to another section of HK to an elaborate hostess bar with private rooms. Turns out that if you like a girl and get good vibes, you pay a bar fee for her to leave with you. Funny thing was that it was kind of assumed that I was going to take someone out. Then you have to negotiate with the girl once at your hotel. Was a nice experience as I got to choose who to take "home".
Another route is skip HK and go to Macau to visit one of their saunas. Like in one of the Rush Hour movies. Sauna and transportation packages are available at business offices in the ferry terminal. Go to the other forum with international threads for reading.

Guess you have to live and learn but I think you story is one of the reason that some of the guys have their boycott. You should have asked the girl what you specifically were going to get. Then if you don't get what you were promised then you could have grumbled and not pay the tab.
I read other posts where the person called his cc company (if you charged your stay) immediately and contested the charge. I doubt the bar would make a scene if you refuse to pay it but I've never done that before.

Anyways I'm headed to Hilo next week for business and was wondering if there's still any KB's up there with action? Last time I was in Hilo there was Koreanas and the other KB up on Kinaole. Got action at the one up on Kinaole but jeez that was over six years ago. What's it like now? Are either of those bars still around?

I would have to agree. Recently I went on a tour of a few Kbars in Kalihi, and then Splash, Butterfly, Casino, Camelot, Mayas, and Tomorrow, not in any particular order. Mayas was pretty much the place that had the talent, with Camelot and Splash a distant second. Butterfly, Casino were not very good like they used to be, and Tomorrow - was more like Yesterday, as in old ladies. Of course, I bought a grand total of ZERO ladies drinks, so I couldn't tell you who plays or what.

ROBed me on the first drink which was gone in 60 seconds almost literally; when she asked for a second one I told her what the problem was and she was much better, glad I gave her a second chance (let me massage the mound and suck nipples). Tight skinny thighs if you like that. Sammie, Anna and v-Lin are back. Lots of new girls, nothing to rave about, especially as they seem to be come-and-go these days.

I totally agree. BUT there are so many knuckleheads spoiling the girls that the prices will not go down. Someone PLEASE organize a REAL boycott of prices at KB's please. Imagine how much money we'll save. We all have to stick together for this to work. Prices should be $10 for tea or water and $20 for real shots or full size beers and $10 drinks ONLY for bartenders. Why do you think some girls will only work behind the bar. No grabby and touchy and no one on one service. If she brings food just tip her accordingly before you leave. I've been going to the bars for over 25 years, while there are some girls that do provide action there has always been many others that don't provide any service. Even 20 years ago not all girls would provide service and you still had ROB girls. We didn't have the internet in those days to help all the brothers avoid the ROB's and no play girls like we do now.
Part of the problem is that the good looking girls think they are hot stuff and don't need to provide any services because guys will always buy them drinks for nothing. Most guys let their little head do the thinking, that's why the girls can get away with their crap.
The thing I do is to find the girls that do provide service and spend money on them. Skip the no play girls and the ROB girls. Like you said there are still guys that will spend money on these girls but hopefully it won't be any of us.
We should all use this forum to identify the ROB girls and no play girls so we can all avoid them.

How many subscribers you figure got for this local site? Couple, few hundred? Once again, no buying of the nekos is a protest. No need give the KBs one manifesto; they ain't going understand anyway. However, they will understand a noticeable drop in revenues on Furlough Fridays. If they wonder out loud, just tell them about your/our concerns.
Why do I continue to go to the KB? I believe it's a bad habit. However, I am treating it as though it was a local, not KBG, bar by not buying any nekos. That is the gist of the boycott, is it not?
Been nekohana-free since 02/10 neko boycott. Used to spend around $6-7 per month chasing the KBGs; height of my stupidity was $1. 5-2G per month.
Now content to drink cheap beer, eat pupus, look at the KBait. I tip well enough that the bar mgmt come talk story. BTW, the KBGs choose who they like be with, not the customer. Get it?
Will not repeat the boycott issue any longer; it's up to fellow drinkers to follow their own path. Furlough Fridays are "No Go KB" days for me as well as personal & permanent ban on neko purchases.
Once you get used to, it's OK. Save plenty ton and empowerment, anyway.

Col Chuck, you may be on to something with the one bar at a time idea. As for the blue and whites, there was a newspaper article a few weeks ago. Listed one LE that got an award for getting a lot of DUI busts. He said that he roamed the sheridan st koreamoku area. What a $%*(), he knows that he can catch customers coming out of bars for easy DUI arrests. What they do is use any excuse for stopping guys to check for DUI, expired safety check, busted lights, illegal turns, etc. Like the kalihi area do not do anything to give LE an excuse to stop you and check for DUI.
I like going by Michelle's place but won't go in there, younger crowd and absolutely no play. Many visiting girls hang out inside and outside looking very hot but nothing else.

I never went to the rooms at Business but like the other bars all the rooms probably have dimmer switches so once the lights are out it's up to the girl to provide whatever service.
I hate the 'fun' the girls offer to go to the rooms. What the f* is fun? IMHO I usually get the girl to specify what she offers in the rooms before I agree to it, if she offers play I will try to get some touching and strokes in the booth first to see if she is for real. If the girl doesn't allow touching or just gives insinuations and no specifics I usually pass as IMHO the girl is doing that just to get you to spend money in the rooms on her and you end up with blue balls.

I visited the old moonflower bar on Saturday night, I think it's called S bar and restaurant. Also saw the hot bartender working but I figured she wouldn't allow play. Didn't have many girls working and the ones working weren't that great. She needs to get some higher quality girls. She also needs to get rid of the waiter, what an asshole. I walked in to see the talent. Asswipe kept following me in everywhere I went. I told him that I would seat myself and sit at the bar but he still followed me around. I was ticked and so just walked out until one of the regular girls came out to get me to come back. When a customer goes into a bar the waiter should ask if the customer needs assistance but he should only come around when the customer sits down in a booth.
