So it's going to be another recycled Kalihi KB merry-go-round?
Here's the funny part. Cleopatra mama Kimberly had 1 year lease at Cheers Station about 1-2 years ago. When she took over Cleo recently a bunch of girls came over from Cheers and Cheers all of a sudden had lots less girls. Now that a new mama is taking over Cheers, a bunch of Cleo girls are going to Cheers and a bunch of Cheers girls (old-timers, too) are going to Cleo. In fact last night a bunch of new girls were at Cheers - the new mama's recruits. Damn it makes it hard keeping track of your faves.

They are not real sisters, but very good friends. They sometimes fly out of town to work at bars on the mainland. Usually 2 weeks. They say sick relatives. Both of their boyfriends are good guys that are single. None are married as stated before. One guy does medical supplies and the other guy makes golf clubs. So stop spreading rumors. They are pros with a sweet smile and friendly laugh.

So I checked out One 2 Go. It was pretty dead. It seemed like the young lookers that I had seen before when they first opened are now gone or on vacation. There was this one local korean girl with big boobs. She seemed like she might be a tita though. LOL. I ended up buying a few drinks for the bartender Jackie. She's kinda cute, but not beautiful. Decided to check out Emerald City (Kapiolani St. Across McKinley HS) since there were quite a few cars outside last night. I sat with Ivy a while ago when she just started doing the hostess bar thing. The place is different. Mostly (if not all) Japanese girls. 2 young (20s) petite ones, some older ones, and a fat one and a chubby one. All the good ones were busy with customers. The young ones eventually went into the Karaoke room. They spoke pretty good english. I wanted to sit with them but they were busy with customers. Bartender was cool.

The bar got raided with one undercover and the rest plainclothes. No one was taken away. Maybe Mr. Brooks or his friend called in to complain.

Shydude, Cleopatra is always busy due to the gymnastics class next door. Try going after 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. You should find many parking stalls on the street and in the parking lot.

Went to New Casino to see Anna. Along the way on Makaloa I passed by D'Amour and saw some nice thighs crossed on those chairs outside the bar.

Red Cafe is mainly a Chinese Bar. On weekends it's a members only club.

Rotated back to Kalihi to check Cheers Station, but parked near the new Pink Rose. Had one or two decent (for Kalihi) 30-somethings but they were busy, the rest were too raunchy. Whole place smelled like piss, WTF. They got rid of one whiff but now they got another.
Kool's was real slow nothing in there; Jihae was completed deserted. Cleo was PACKED, no bar seats and like 95% of booths taken. Plenny fuglies, no real talent noted. At least they managed to attract business.
Cheers is now 1st Time and it was very busy; overloaded with hostesses (well over a dozen had nothing to do), age range seemed to be 25-ish to 59-ish, with mostly 40+'s. I didn't see any with blond streaked hair; the only one I saw with streaked hair was way too raunchy for me. Nicole was the only hot-looking one there, but she was busy. Sorry I was kinda in a hurry to write it to avoid the login screen when submitting. The last sentence of the first paragraph is misleading and makes it sound like the same place, but I was writing about the new location of Pink Rose (I don't know what it was before).
I walked the PR/Cleo area but moved the car over to 1st Time and Miami/Carnival. I grew up/hung around some of the housing kids/mokes; worked in Waikiki and had to deal with druggy/mokey shoplifters; now I work with roughnecks and barbarians so there's no real shock here when I see guys on the streets. But yeah, I'm not into Kalihi bars but check-in when I get tired of Makaloa.
At 1st Time, the way so many girls hang around the area adjacent to what looks to be the playground, it doesn't look private enough for BJ action. Well a lot of them look raunchy and maybe don't care.

HKB is like a in-between local bars with all the teasing young girl waitresses and the AMP. At a local bar, you can become "friends" with the young girl waitresses, but hardly ever get any action probably unless you really hit it off with them and become their bf. It's more like fishing in the ocean where hardly get fish. It would be real good to get one, but hard to land one. At a AMP, you get 100% action, but no thrill of the chase, and only for a limited time. Like going to Foodland and buying your fish. At the KB, it is in between because you pay some money, you most likely can grab ass, etc. With a chance of hooking up if you understand the game and play your cards right. The KB is more for variety and social interaction, with a chance you might not succeed. Like fishing in a pond with plenty fish (I know, fishing in a stocked pond is easier than hooking up at a KB).
Actually another idea I think KB is like is a really difficult video game. You play it because it's fun, you don't win too often, but with practice you could master it and show that you are the badass winner. Conversely, a game you can win at automatically without really trying (AMP) is fun for a little while, but it starts to get old real quick because you don't have to try real hard, and it's the same old moves that allow you to win. You may come back to that game every once in awhile because you like the feeling of winning, but because it's so easy it's still not fulfilling any challenges, especially because the newness and nervousness of it all wore out years ago!

The answer/reason for that is because I do not frequent K/V bars. I never have, with the exception of LH back in the day. It was the OGs from back then (think: Kapalua and co) who gave me their expert advice, and I had many memorable moments there.

To avoid that, they would pretend to transfer to a new owner; and the pretended new owner would have a clean plate to work with. A lot of times, though, name changed means a new owner has come in, and again, the new owner might have problem getting the license from the HLC, instead of transfer the license, they just change the name only and pretend that it was still under the old owner. It's a very tricky business out there.
