The last time I went through Utica, it looked like pictures of Beirut after the war......very bombed out looking. I remember when I lived in syracuse years ago and it was considered dry compared to what was in Utica. Utica used to be known as having some wild strip clubs too.

You must have been talking about the south end of Salina.... the north end was pretty tame tonight. First time I've been to Syr in a while and drove around looking to see if I found a SW who was "qualified".
Saw nothing but a couple of strip clubs on the north end of Salina and a few skanky white women who did NOT look like they were working. I didn't check them out any further.
I drove through town on Salina and on the south end, it was busy with many people on the street.... a few black girls looked as if they were working, again, didn't check them out further.
Did see one promising white girl, about 25, called herself Drea. But when I got close and talked with her, she was a few pounds over my limit. So, I headed back north toward my hotel.

I was in Syracuse last week and cruised North Salina but didn't see anything. Of course this was during the day. Stopped in at Night Lites and was amazed at how friendly and affectionate the women are allowed to be vs. the joints in Albany. Not a bad rub.
Need help. Will travel to N.Falls from NYC soon. Never been there. Any suggestions on GOOD PLACES around N.Falls or on the way between NYC and NF? Do not let my trip to be wasted!!

Anyway, for regular strip clubs in Utica, avoid Teasers. The setup is bad and you can't even get close to the girls as the stage is many feet from the nearest seat. I have heard Peepers is a "dark, dirty place" but that could be good in other ways. Still, I heard that the girls are unattractive. I havent tried yet.
And Fantasy's is probably the best place for quality. There are a couple of really hot girls and some others who shouldn't be stripping, but the general attitudes were very good, which makes for a welcome atmosphere. There is an upstairs area which yo ucan access for $10 per night where you can get a nice dance on a couch, standard $20 per song, touching of all parts except coochie permitted. Decent dollar dances available downstairs on the main floor.
So that's the legal strip club report for Utica.

I have to agree with the recent posts. The Syracuse strip joints offer the best lap dances around this area. I’ve gotten dozens. The ladies always seem to know exactly what you’re there for and work hard for that tip. Just found this discussion forum after beginning my relocation back to Syracuse from the NYC area. The SW scene in Syracuse varies from non-existent to risky due to ongoing LE presence and stings in the North Townsend and Willow Street area. The used to be some hot black LW action on Sout Ave just past the Onondaga Ave intersection and also a few reliable hotties at the intersection of Delware and Onondaga late at night. I still see a few occasionally in the following areas. The very few white SW's I've noticed are skany crackho's or appear to be. The black one s range widely from 2 to the occasional 6.
If you're still up for it considering the meager offering. The most likely spots and least likely to have LE active (and have never heard of stings in these areas).
South Salina Street between Furman (Furman is just south of the KFC) and Brighton, late at night, early in the morning or afternoon on weekends.
East Fayette near the projects between Columbus and Allen Street. There's a hottie with an amazing ass, dresses well, probably late twenties, usually nice hair style wears stylish shades. IIRC her name is Tonya and she's got an amazing body and is actually very pretty but she'll rush you.
James Street up the hill towards Oak Street - generally later at nigth on weekends but again, only on occasion. Every now and then I'll spot a woman making "that kind" of eye contact on Burnet Ave near DeJulio's Army-Navy store, usually morning (7 or 8 AM) or early evening, typically they're walking through that area on their way somewhere and not working the conrer but are always looking for possibles along the way.
Wish I had better news to report. I've been out of the area for four years and when I have a regular GF the hobby gets put on the shelf. I'm careful and have never had a runin with LE or even a close call but have been ripped off a couple times due to stupidity on my part. The quality and availability continues to decline. Your post brings tears to my eyes. I use to be in Syracuse on business about every month or so back in the 80's and early 90's. The Open Door was one of my favorites for picking up a friend or two. Damn, Syracuse was fun. Not saying it isn't now but downtown was pretty open/wild during night times. Hard to believe that it is the same.

The Open Door is long gone and sadly missed. There's a coffee house in where it used to be. Change in political administrations and changes in top brass in the Syracuse Police Department ultimately shut down the Open Door. It also brought to an end the amazing parade of SW's that used to walk up and down South Warren Street late at night. I can emember driving through there at 2 AM around the time the bars were closing and being in a traffic jam two blocks long - all cars full of guys checking out the talent.
For awhile there was a really active black SW scene at South Ave and Onondaga and around White Street and Onondaga but it's all gone. Ditto with the Willow Street area. that's where the SW's went after getting pushed out of downtown but the stings etc. have just about shut everything down in terms of street action. You will find the occasional crack ***** out and about at all times of the day in various areas but it's rare to find one that's over a 3 and even at $20 - $30 you may not get your money's worth.
Tried a few areas mentioned here for SW in Syracuse, daytime on Tuesday, saw absolutely nothing. Thought about trying out some of the ads from http://newtimes.rway.com/adult.shtml but had wasted too much time cruising and had to leave. Any one have reviews of any ladies with ads? I will probably be back there soon, and will post if I find anything.

Forget about the Ft. Drum/Watertown areas, make the 70 mile trip to Kingston, Canada and check out the escort service there. That would be your best choice. Even places like Montreal and Ottawa are nice weekend trips. Check out the reviews.

Two more strip club reports, but this is a "softcore" report for when you have nothing better to do. Diamond Dolls sucks. There were about 4 or 5 girls working. Two were decent-looking but they kept going outside to talk to their ghetto boyfriends. It did not leave one with that welcome feeling.
Alpine, albeit topless, is chock full of fine women and worth a visit. Some of them are the typical hustlers but my friend and I found a few cool ones to talk to. The stage area is not very comfortable because you are sitting behind your round table, but you can get $5 lap dances in the public area. The VIP lap dances are the standard $20 and are not private. You have Big Brother watching the scene (a bouncer in the room), plus you are packed in with all the other patrons and strippers. Ass grabbing is allowed, but I doubt there is titty grabbing, as the dances were not even topless. The $5 dance is a better value. Very hot chicks. The only problem is the place is less liberal than the Syracuse standard. So far, Dream Girls has been the most liberal, but the quality and attitude of the girls is a crap shoot, generally mediocre on both levels.
"Lookers" had some hotties but was too full of sausage and not enough girls when we went. Some of the girls had attitude, too. So, there are pluses and minuses to all these places. Choose what is important to you.
Dylock has already provided some apt observations on a few of the popular local strip clubs - I'll mention a few others.
Fantasy Nights on North Salina by Court: young girls, usually at least one Hispanic and a few black (even an Asian girl when I was there). They serve alcohol so it's topless and G-Strings only. None of the girls were over a 6 but I got a "private" chair dance from a young black dancer (really semi-private). Small tits, great hard body and she let my hands wander all over the place but she was not into her work at all. IIRC the private dances were only $10 per song plus a tip.
Night Lights - North Salina all the way out by the corner of Wolf. Totally nude. Have only been here once. The guy on the bar was friendly enough and there were only two dancers on (it was early). The white chick was skanky and the black girl was pretty hot - maybe a 7. Got two "private" dances at $20 each. She was into it and there was plenty of hands on action (my hands on her erverywhere but on the coochie). Again, like the previous place, there was a curtain around the side of the chair but the chairs were in the well lit main part of the bar - not private.
Moulin Rouge - Have been here only once also (I go to strip clubs rarely). It was early evening on a weeknight and there a cute but not gorgeous black girl working - maybe a 5 or 6 face and an 8 body. She has a gap in her teeth and wildly curly hair (or did last summer). I ended up getting three private dances in a row - the VIP area here is dark and in a separate room - much more privacy than the other places. Fantasy Nights-both clubs wolf street and north salina has girls that will either give you hj or bj. Only thing is the club on north salina the girls during the day will do this but not the ones at night because the owners is there. I have had hj and bj at both clubs and have even been offered fs at the one on wolf street.
Night Lights- It's on north salina a little ways down from lookers and a couple of blocks down from Fantasy Nights 1. They have great VIP's but now have the stupid timer which ruins the fun. It's $15 for topless and $20 for nude, but have had hj in this club. I think girls name was Meesha but haven't been there in a while and don't know if she still works there. Passion gives great VIP, but no hj.
Lookers- It's in between Fantasy Nights 1 and Night Lights on north salina. $20 VIP's and rule on where you can touch depends on girls. One girl shoved her tongue down my throat, but not for sure if extras are available. Plus they have the timers also, I think they set them for 4 minutes, there is a cover charge but don't remember how much.
Dream Girls- It's on bruce street off from erie blvd east. The club has shower shows and bed shows, VIP's are $20. Never gotten any extra's here but have seen the girls and management get worse since my college day's.
Diamond Dolls- It's bar with strippers, like fantasy nights, but not worth the trouble girls and service aint to great.
Alpine- It's on butternut street. When I went they serve alcohol but no dancers were on stages, I must have been early.
Body Rubs- New York Body is $40 per half hour and includes hj. The girls will ask if you want topless for $20 more. There used to be a lady that works in the east part that gives bj for $20 extra, she always gives topless for the $40, the $20 is for bj. Tried NYBR North on Wednesday for the first time. Nice area, but you have to walk through an office building, and as I'm approaching the door, there's an insurance company just up the hall with the door open and the secretary staring at me. Based on your description I'll guess that this girl was not LE but if you're not from Syracuse I'll warn you that the corner you mention and the area around running up and down Willow, out onto James and up past Lodi to the intersection of Highland have been used repeatedly for sting operations many times in the past year or two.
