Hello to all,

I have been reading this board for about three years now, and finally I can start posting. I hope that we will be able to start providing good reports on this Minnesota board. I feel as if it is lacking compared to the other states boards.

Tranquility was posted on this sight I think about 2 years ago. well anyway one day about 2 months ago I decided to give it a try. I will be going to LA for the week so I will be unable to post, but I thought that I would give you some information on a place/provider named Audrey. Well Guys,

I have been here for business for two days so far and it doesn't seem like much action at all. When I was living in Denver, I had the pleasure of being able to frequent a good AMP. The jacuzzi thing is pretty rare I think, but I like it if it's available.

Good luck on your search, I have been looking for a good AMP for a long time. Kim Yi's is a waste of time and money, but YMMV.

In the City Pages there was an ad for a place called Adamee Therapy that was scheduled to open on June 15th. They had a dragon for a logo, so it might be an Asian place. I haven't had the opportunity to check it out, but here is the phone number from the ad: (612) 366-8746.

I checked out Tranquility this evening based on the glowing reviews I read here, and I'm sorry to say my experience was the complete opposite of what the other reviewers here described. I called in the afternoon, Diane answered and said there was nothing available until 7. Okay, fine. I show up at 7 and there's a slightly chunky mocha-skinned girl there maybe late 20s...I'd rate her a 6. Her name is Shayna or something like that. She tells me to strip down and hop on the table. So here is the report I promised.

I cruised Lake by 35W on Thursday night ]10 PM to midnight] and there were only a few ladies out, none of whom struck my fancy.

I wanted to let you all know that the activity in the area of Lake, between 4th and 35W seems to have picked up quite a bit.

I drive through/past there daily on my way home from work, and every day, for the past week, I have seen at least one SW. Most of the ones I am seeing are WSW, with an occasional B or L.

I would say from what I could see while cruising by, the looks seem to average somewhere around 6, although I did see one girl on Wednesday who was probably closer to 7 1/2 - 8. 3. If she is watching traffic, she's probably a SW.

11. Make a turn or two before discussing $$, just in case. Watch your rear view - you can bet she will, too! I've never heard of LE getting in the car, with a follower, but better safe than sorry. A known LE trick - she doesn't get in, but directs you to meet her around the corner. Guess who's waiting there, instead of her? If she doesn't get in right away, move on!

12. AVOIDING SCAMS - If you do a car date, and you let her pick the spot (she'll try to direct you), be aware that she may be setting you up for a robbery. Don't settle for her spot - or at least, force her to come up with a second choice. Her boyfriend can't be in two places at once.

I am a Floridian monger, but come up to MSP now and again. Obviously, two completely different scenes.

I don't even know if I would venture to say MSP even has a vibrant pay for play scene. I mean compared to FL, Vegas, LA, NYC, DC...it's just another big American city full of junkies out to score their next fix. Ok, maybe an exageration but outside of the house escorts in the burbs and the travelers that cum to your downtown hotels (and often they are 23 y.o. skanks themselves), it is few and far between.

The Lake St. scene near Uptown has at times the common BSW and the Mexican new arrivals, the WSWs' are as used up and drugged up as can be. They would be bottom scrapers in FL. I mean really the scum of the industry. LE also is heavy around Lake and 35 due to the overall direlection of this neighborhood.

I do know however that there seems to be a growing house incall scene where it runs like your basic AMP like you'll see in every downtown in America.

You are right and as a traveling man, I can tell you from experience that there are nice areas for mongering in the USA and even great ones outside. Canada, for example, is usually much better on the whole. But that is another conversation.

My point here is that, as bad as it is, it is improving, and we are hoping that some good press will make then even better. Yes, much of what is on Lake is, umm, nasty, but the same can be said about areas in Florida, Texas, Calli, etc. And yes the LEO presence is heavy, but that can be said about other areas. However, there are diamonds to be found, out there in either the incall or SW scenes.

If I can only get some of these taciturn Norwegian mongers to post, we can get things going on the board as well.

I'll go first. I have had my best luck on Lake St. in Minneapolis going both east and west from 35W. [mostly west, but I did score once in the parking lot of the library - whee]. I am afraid that I have had limited luck otherwise.

For example, 2 weeks ago I stopped on Lake [in the area by the latino grocery stores] and took a stroll. I was out on Lake St this afternoon between 12:30 and 2:00. The eastern portion, around Bloomington was swarming with cops, especially on Bloomington. I just made one pass through the area and saw about 8 different cop cars in a matter of minutes.

I headed to the western portion around 35W and there were hardly any cops there, however, there weren't any SW either. She was wearing a dark blue jacket with her hood up. She appeared to be blonde but I could really tell because of the hood and looked to be in her late twenties.

I went around the block and saw another woman, appeared to be Indian (the country, not native american), that I had seen earlier. When I initially saw her she definitely didn't seem to be a SW. She was carrying a large purse, walking fairly quickly and would barely even glance at traffic out of the corner of her eye. However, since she was still in the area, I thought maybe I was wrong.

I was at a stop light a block or two east of Pilsbury and 31st St. and she was walking in my direction. I was hoping that she would get to me before the light changed, so that I could try to make eye contact, but of course it changed just before she got to me. I made a right and parked just around the corner to see what she would do. When she got the light she stopped and looked at my car but wouldn't approach. I finally gave up and drove on. As soon as I pulled out she started heading down 31st in my direction. I decided to try one more pass to she if she would make eye contact. When I did she looked at me so I pulled around the corner and stopped. She came to the corner and stopped and looked at me but again wouldn't approach my car. I decided she was definitely either a decoy or the most cautious SW I've ever seen.

I figure the cops are out the east end to drive the traffic west to their decoys. Of course, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the SW were just being extra cautious because of the heavy LE presense. Although, in my experience they are more likely to immediately hop in then.
