I went through town on the 23 figuring there would be girls out seeking holiday money. At 3 pm no one was to be found.
I just got a call from a buddy who said he got arrested a few days ago. I don't know a lot about legal stuff, especially in the area of mongering. I'll tell you what he told me, let me know if you guys have any opinions.
He was downtown, a girl made eye contact with him and nodded. He thought he knew her so went over to her. He realized they didn't know each other, but she was cute so he asked her if she was walking somewhere.
She didn't really answer, but they talked a little. The conversation got sexual, she asked him if he wanted a blowjob. He doesn't recall his initial answer, but insists it wasn't affirmative. She asked him if he had any money and if he had a wallet. He doesn't really recall answering the questions.
She asked what he had under his jacket, he said his cock. She asked if he wanted a blowjob, he said he then got curious and said get in we'll talk about it. SHe asked again if he had money and he said get in we'll talk about it. He said his curiosity was more about the woman then the sexual encounter, he was curious about why she'd do this (ahh, my naive little friend). And you know, I believe him because he does have a naive side to him.
She then told him she knew a dark place to go and told him to back up a little to a clearing. As he did, she opened the car door and reached in (he said she dived in) and looked like she was going to grab the keys. He said he got spooked and started to drive away with her legs hanging out the door and then a bunch of cop cars surrounded them.
The woman was obviously LE.
He was arrested, but never told what for, the LE told him "I think you know". He went to jail and wasn't told the charge until a friend posted bail later that night (he said he had no money on him): sexual conduct for a fee.
The guy has a point when he said he knew he was dangerously close to immorality, but didn't think anything in the conversation was illegal. If his story is true, I wonder if there's really a case against him?
Let me know your thoughts. Also, if he's going to need an attorney, any recommendations? You can PM me the info if necessary.
Blitzed... sorry to hear about your friend. It's too bad for him, 'cause from what you say, it doesn't sound like he was actively mongering at the time -- more interested in talking to a girl... but as we all know, when a girl mentions blowjobs, suddenly guys get all interested (and sometimes stupid).
One thing you don't mention in the story that's unclear: Does your friend generally partake in the hobby? Or is this a fluke situation for him?
Also, what town did this happen in? Springfield? You posted on the CT board too -- we just need to know where the heat is...
Aaaaanyway... this tale should reinforce one of the lessons we all learned in Mongering 101 (and hopefully not the hard way, as your friend did): Your key to safety in mongering is MOVEMENT! That is, a streetwalker who is actually WALKING is MUCH safer than one who is loitering... LE must keep their scene contained for the safety of their officers (especially the decoy); AND YOU SHOULD ALWAYS REMOVE YOUR POTENTIAL DATE FROM THE PICKUP LOCATION PRIOR TO ANY NEGOTIATION. Prior to that, you are a good samaritan offering a ride and NOTHING more. Ever.

Second tip: if she is truly a working girl, she is going to want to get in your car and get off the sidewalk as soon as possible. No true streetwalker is going to have a long conversation with you on the corner because she is too afraid of LE driving by. So, if the girl doesnt jump right into your car as soon as you pull over, take off.
As far as your buddy is concerned, I dont think he is telling you the whole story. You need 2 things to happen in order to be locked up. 1) You have to state a sexual act. 2) You must discuss a dollar price. If these two criteria are not met, then there is no case.
If you think the girl might be a decoy, just tell her that you will give her 20 bucks to talk, thats all. Police cannot put you in cuffs for offering to pay for a conversation, they might pull you over and run your plates and ID, but they wont take you to jail. If she really is a streetwalker, when you get to the designated spot, just tell her you were joking about the talking part and to start sucking the dick:-)
The bust was in Mass. And sorry guys, no offense to you, but I posted in the CT boards because sometimes that one is more active.
The guy says this was a fluke thing, he's never mongered before. Fist thought he knew her, then got curious about her story when she propositioned him. I talked to him again today. He still doesn't think what happened was illegal, or immoral. Dangerous, yes. The woman asked him about a blowjob, he didn't say yes. He didn't say anything about money, it was her who did most of the talking. He did tell her to get in to talk, but said that's all he wanted to do... never spoke with a SW before. In fact, he wasn't thinking cop when the woman dove and reached for the keys, he thought she had a guy running up to mug him.
He told me about the arraignment, the police report shows a different story (no surprise there). It says he asked her to come over (he said she came to him after he pulled over), and never says that it was the woman who mentioned sex, money, etc. They also say he exposed himself to her. I'm guessing the cops can leave out parts of the story if they want to and can pretty much say anything to try to make a case.
Which brings up a question: does anyone know if the conversations between the cop and john are taped? Are they videotaped? Can they make a claim of exposure without evidence? I guess he'll drop trou during the trial for the woman to ID him... er, it.
Any references for attorneys? His job will be in jeopardy, he'll need the case dismissed or found not guilty or something. That's the thing. This is just a few minute thing for the cops, but now a guy's whole life is in turmoil. He very likely will loose his job, I guess this will be on his record a while. I guess his girlfriend believes his story, but she'd be naive to not ask questions or wonder what he was really doing.
Anyway, on to other things:
Two days ago I picked up Christy near Li'l Peach on Belmont or whatever. Strawberry blond hair, thin, sort of cute. Brought her home for a sweet time. Not sure where everyone has gone to, but I'm still seeing quite a lot of action out there. Found another last night, for $25. Sure would like to hear from someone else, I'm tired of reading my post over and over.
Always action on Main and Belmont. Be careful for the new street light just North of the Mickey D's-- I think the only reason it was placed there was to disrupt the SW-monger scene. From what you said it sounds as though your friend has a good chance of winning his case if he gets a good lawyer.
If I suspect the girl is undercover, I simply ask her if she wants to go. If I am not sure if she is undercover and she is reluctant then I ask her what are you willing to go for. But normally I wait for the girl to get in the car. The advantage of statements is that you have not offered any money for sex. Finally always do the feel test in the car before you make a offer for money.
Now in a few places like New Orleans or Vegas it can be implied to be as loitering. Other cities like LA or Oakland have that terrible intent to solicit law. But if you are careful and play by a few simple rules then you are safe..

The extra police presence is the result of well-publicized, extra state police troopers to help with springfield's violence downtown. You might see a lot of regular cruisers around now , but doesn't mean they're looking for mongers specifically.
The HSW's I know focus on staying off the street during particularly hot
times -the beginnings and ends of LE shifts. While you are, I'm sure, familiar with Springfield's lay-out, others may not know that the Upper State Street and North End sections are dangerous places, especially at night. The best places to score have been well documented here already.
The best advice would be to not be loaded while searching, just keeping an eagle eye will save one much grief!

I stopped by the Lantern in Monson yesterday around 5:00 PM. A couple of new girls were working which is unusual for this place. I've yet to engage in "activities" downtown however I tried again and cruised the streets around 2:30 PM Saturday afternoon. The rain was lighter but no sightings to speak of except three Springfield patrol cars, two state cars, and a dark blue unmarked all between the Columbus/Williams street area, Main street, and the start of Belmont. Too much LE around for mongering. If Springfield is broke, who's paying for the OT and the gas? I did connect with one of my favorite dancers at a local club though. She's not FS and wanted $$ for a massage with a happy ending at a locale of my choosing. Too pricey for the limited service.
Found Karen on Belmont by the Woodside Apartments. Have had many experiences with her. Ten women and one monger were busted early Saturday morning by an undercover effort. The South End and Mill/Locust areas were targeted from 6 to 930 am.
If you want to see the names , go to A24 of the "region" section. I would imagine the paranoia of the SW in those areas is high. But people still need to eat and house themselves.
One at Maple and Mill, one at Mill and Locust, two at Main and Gardiner, two at Dickenson and Leyfred, two at School and Union, and one at Dickenson and Grenada. Another SW and a monger at an undisclosed area.

SPRINGFIELD - Police arrested 10 women and one man yesterday in a crackdown against prostitution along Main Street in the South End and in the area of Mill and Locust streets, police said.
Undercover detectives with the Crime Prevention Bureau conducted an operation from 6 - 9:30 a.m. to look for people involved in the sex trade, said Lt. C. Lee Bennett.
Because of increased police targeting of prostitution in recent months during evening and nighttime hours, prostitutes and their customers have taken to the streets earlier in the day, Bennett said.
"We wanted to see if they were out there and they were," she said.

Main Street to Belmont were deserted Wednesday 1-2 pm. There was one girl standing by the stores as I headed up Belmont, and a cute girl with bright orange/pink hair walking by DD. I went around the block to scout out the area and both disapeared. Not sure if they were scooped up or went inside. I am very cautious not to just stop without scoping out the area before picking up a girl. I also tried to call Fantasia that Garthy gave me the number and she never answered her phone all afternoon.
Been a ghost town for the past few days.
Yesterday at aound midnight I saw a very, very pretty girl in her early thirties scoping cars out on Belmont. Short black hair, nice figure. Short skit, whote blouse with a vest on. She was dressed a little too cutsie and set off my warning bells. I am not sure if she was LE, but that would be my guess. I would not be surprised if I read about about a few customer busts in the next few days. If she was for real I would love to hear about her.
As I suspected, there is an article in today's (Sunday's) Republican about a sting operation that happened on Friday. And, as I suspected, it targeted customers. I will reprint it when it comes online. At least one girl I know got arrested last week and everyone else is laying low (couldn't resist the pun there).

I went for a cruise down Main st and up over Belmont today. I saw a couple of HSW's however I wasn't comfortable after hearing Garthy's warning (thanks Garthy). There was some LE cruising around but I did not see anything unusual in that department.
Yes, the creme-de-la-creme are out tonight. Thin, emaciated, actually, 30's is dirty brown-hairde girl on School Street. Angry looking BSW on Belmont, and a 40's is run-down hag on Main by the Wendy's. My guess is that these are the "jones-in for a fixin" crowd. No thanks!

SPRINGFIELD - Police arrested 12 people during a prostitution sweep in the city's South End neighborhood Friday.
The Springfield Police Department Crime Prevention Bureau conducted the sweep 4-8 p.m., with assistance from the Narcotics Bureau and the Uniform Squad, said Lt. C. Lee Bennett of the Crime Prevention Bureau.
[Deleted by Admin], of West Springfield; [Deleted by Admin], of Palmer; [Deleted by Admin], homeless, were all charged with prostitution, sexual conduct for a fee, Bennett said. The charge applies to both accused prostitutes and customers.
[Deleted by Admin], of Springfield, was charged with prostitution, sexual conduct for a fee and a default warrant for disorderly person, police said.

Warm and sunny, today did bring out quite a few workers.
I chatted with a tall brunette named Sheila who I picked up by "D's Pub." Something about her bugged me (even though she was long and lean). Something about her made me think she was too strung out or HIV or something. So I bought her some smokes and left her at the Store 24.

Now, when I am in Waterbury, I enjoy the abundance of really nice AMPs in the general area. Also, as I recall, Waterbury had a few spots for mongering...
Be careful with out of state plates in the Main Street area. Also, be aware that busts have been happening weekly. There is still talent on the streets, but it is a dangerous time. You may make the trip and find nothing. You may find a lot. Do not "cruise." Either park at Wendy's or McDonalds and eat and watch or find your gal on the first pass.
I take in the local talents where I live. What's wrong with the AMPs?

I spent a lot of time mongering today. I saw little in terms of street action. There was a lot of law enforcement and a car fire on Belmont drove a lot of people into the streets to check out the disaster. But, I did find a rare gem of a girl. She was way up on Belmont by the Lil Peach. She was thin with long brown hair and a face that was not unlike Sandra Bullock. She was wearing skin-tight blue jeans and a skin tight pink top. Her bod was stunning. I pulled down a side street and waited. She saw me but did not approach. I thought I might be wrong about her, so I approached on foot and we chatted. She told me that she was on the streets to keep her mother and father from being kicked out of their apartment (and who says family values have deteriorated?). She was clearly new to this. Be very very careful when mongering around springfield, if the vehicle is wandering around you will and i repeat will get pulled over. The hotels on Route 5/10 and in Springfield require ID and a Credit Card imprint. The exceptions are the River Inn (drug dealer haven and awful place) and the place on State Street (across from Walgreens). Also a very nasty dangerous place. Both will set you back 50 bucks too.
There used to be a hotel at exit 3 on the Mass Pike (in Westfield) that qould do 4 hours for 40 bucks without ID, etc. Place was nice too. I think it is now a BEst Western and I doubt they do that anymore. If you find one, let me know.

I vary my route and am careful about making radical stops to engage a SW. SPRINGFIELD - The head of the Police Department's street-crimes unit says that officers will mount a stronger presence in the area of Kimball Towers on Chestnut Street to target drug-dealing, prostitution, and noise.
"I promise you, we'll spend a lot of time at the Apremont Triangle in the next few weeks," said Police Sgt. Robert Tardiff yesterday.
The Apremont Triangle is the area surrounding the intersections of Chestnut, Pearl, and Bridge Streets.
Tardiff addressed a dozen residents in a meeting of the City Council Public Health and Safety Committee at City Hall.
The session was prompted by reports from tenants of Kimball Towers at 122 Chestnut St. and residents of Mattoon Street about relentless drug exchanges, prostitutes hanging around at the same spots every day, shouting between prostitutes and customers, and public drunkenness and urination.
"Of course, we all know we're trying to make Springfield a safer city, and that is a major concern," said Committee Chairwoman Kateri B. Walsh.
Almost every resident who discussed a problem said that he or she felt the police were doing their best, and that the answer lies with adding officers.
"We don't have the big, huge drug-dealing" problem, said Linda Caron, manager of the 132-unit Kimball Towers.
"It's the smaller, non-stop, constant activity. ... It's frustrating," she said. "Unit owners say, 'My son came to visit me last night, and he was propositioned three times.' It happens all night long. It just blows my mind that nothing is being done. And I'm not trying to blame anyone.
"The bottom line is you have to feel safe."
Mary Beth Oakley of Kimball Towers said that an acquaintance visiting the building a week ago told her that male and female prostitutes propositioned him as he got out of his car.
Judith A. Matt of Mattoon Street said she has considered moving for the first time in more than a quarter-century.
A neighbor was robbed at knifepoint, another was robbed in her driveway, and a church's stained-glass window was broken, all recently, she said.
That was in addition to the prostitutes who are fixtures opposite an adult videotape store on Bridge Street, she said.
"They're out there across from the Video Expo every day of the week," Matt said.
Tardiff said that police will converge on the area, but that such focus is limited.

Councilors Rosemarie Mazza Moriarty, Domenic J. Sarno, Bud L. Williams, and William T. Foley also attended the parley.

I was in Springfield last evening and had a lot of time to kill between 4 and 7 pm.

Friday night at 8:00 PM and very little action on the street. I saw Irana? on Main and a couple of scary SW's on Belmont. Nothing worth stopping for. The traffic on Columbus makes it difficult to monger effectively. I was hoping to catch Stephanie this weekend however I have not seen her out in awhile. Has anyone seen her lately? I would appreciate knowing where she hangs out. LE was out tonight however they were busy with the downtown club scene and the civic center.

The Springfield Police Department is on a mission in the Southend of town. I was down there Saturday night hanging with a friend of mine that works at the neighborhood bar and was harrassed not once but twice in five minutes by the boys in blue. And then I was followed around town the rest of the night by various marked and unmarked cruisers. Evidently there is a town ordinance that prohibits standing on the sidewalk smoking a cigarette and talking with friends. But that only applies to people that have jobs, cars and are tax payers. The local drug addicts and dealers and street walkers can do whatever they please but real citizens are the ones that get questioned. Don't get me wrong guys I love my girls and I know quite a few of them but the Springfield PD is singling out the wrong people to give a hard time to. If I sound bitter or pissed it's because I am. If the local LE is gonna stop and question everyone in the southend that has out of state plates on their car they would have better luck sitting at the Dunkin Donuts with a boston creme in their hand. Just remember boys that glazed look on their face is not from spending some quality time with the girls it's from sitting at the donut shop with a creller in one hand a light and sweet coffee in the other and powdered sugar on that wrinkled uniform.

So I was in Springfield today (Saturday) dropping off a friend on my way back to Boston. I took one run down Main Street and saw no SWs working on this frigid afternoon (it was around 3pm).
I had already made up my mind to go to Hong Kong Spa in Waterbury, but I was pulled into the gavitational field of the Mardi Gras. As I parked my car, I said to myself that I would ONLY do a champagne room trip if Angel was there.
Once inside, I have to say that the qaulity of the girls is a little lower than it used to be. All of the girls but one were totally unfamiliar to me and none of them were impressive. The one girl I knew was Tammy - seeing her threated to throw a real monkey wrench into my plans to save my money and avoid the CR.
Tammy is a smokin hot little number with a stunning body and fabulous tits. She is also very personable and nice. I havve taken her to the CR a few times. Unfortunately the last time we went, i was overcharged. I think it was all a misunderstanding and I never spoke up, so I can only blame myself. The real problem is that Tammy does not give extras in the CR and I just cant spend several hundred dollars without at least busting a nut - even for a girl as awesome as her. The net result is that I avoid Tammy because I am too chicken to ask her if she does extras (she has previously said that she doesnt but it was a long time ago)
Oh how I miss that body.
ANyway, I successfully got out of there with my wallet intact and went to Waterbury - see my post there.

Well there I was wandering around Main street on a cold saturday night with nothing better to do. With one eye watching the sidewalks and the other watching the rearview mirror for that unmarked crown victoria that has a habit of sneaking up behind me I spotted a hot little number walking up the street by the corner of Marble and Main streets. She looked at me and I looked back, So I made aloop around the block and checked her out again to make sure it was who i thought it was. And it was a smokin little spanish chick that i had not seen in almost a year. I followed her up Main admiring her tiny little tight ass and finally grabbed her on a side street near the civic center and quickly got out of town. LE was all over the place and all the girls know that i do not pick anyone up on Main street. She remembered me and we talked until we got to a safe quiet and dark place to take care of business. She is 28, single, no kids, long brown hair, nice small tits and a dynomite little ass. she asked what I would give her for a donation and I said i would take care of her for her time and talent. Well she unbutton my pants and junior came to life, with no hesitation she went to work licking and sucking and in about 10 minutes i unloaded about a quart of goo down her throat and she swallowed most of that. I told her that the next time i saw her i wanted to sample all her goodies not just her oral talent and she said she would love that. I do have her name and numbers and she lives in the northend of the city with her mom and does not want the phone ringing off the hook all day. Mom speaks very little english and has a hard time understanding. so for now I am going to call her the Spanish spinner. I might be seeing her again next weekend for dinner with spanish pie for dessert. If i can i will get ya all some digital pictures of her.

Just when the action gets a bit rough, all reportage disappears! (except for a select few like Brotherstrange).
I have not surrendered, and when we have to share to be safe etc, everyone is gone.
There are always girls (but also always LE). More BSWs than I have seen in a while. A few of the steadier girls are in jail.
I saw "Missy" yesterday. She had been looking like shit for most of the past year. But she has cleaned up. She was very sweet and gave loving, considerate, slow, GFE service. Not bad for cheap. I avoid her when she is out of it, but she was quite straight yesterday.
Action has moved around a bit. There is some to be had at the X, but this is hit or miss and does not seem to follow any specific schedule. There is also some (very bad) action in the North End and on Chestnut.

If you think the board here is dead try reading the Connecticut board, it is even worse! Either no one is getting laid or no one is kissing and telling. That excludes AMP'S of cours. We do have ample places to sample the Asian puntang.
