Happy New Year to everyone!!!

Well I toured Friday and Sunday evening about 11 - 1. Only saw a scant few UGGGGLY ones out. I checked all the routes. Even went over to produce area. Maybe to cold out? :eek:

A Web site that helps men the world over hook up with streetwalkers has outraged women's groups and become a tool for police interested in tracking down johns.

``This site is problematic, degrading and inhumane,'' said Mary Quinn, director of The Women's Center in Boston.

``(Prostitution) is one way women interact with men when their childhood has been interrupted by child sex abuse.''

The Web site World Sex Guide Forum (wsgforum.com) is a cyber den for men who get thrills from trolling side roads and back alleys for prostitutes. Johns trade tips on the best places to find hookers, where to be on the lookout for police and when to go on the prowl.

Perverse Bay State paramours can find information on prostitutes in Boston, Cambridge, Lawrence, Lowell, Holyoke, Fitchburg, Haverhill, Springfield and Worcester.

When one of these self-described ``mongers'' finds a good spot to pick up women, or a place to spend 15 minutes with them, he logs on and posts a note to the other wired johns with all the sleazy details.

In a recent monger posting in the Fitchburg section, ``Auto'' thanks members for telling him where to find prostitutes:
``Thanks for the tips guys. I did end up scoring in Fitchburg yesterday at around 2:30 after only about 15 minutes on the prowl. I think her name was Shauna or something like that, and I found her on Elm St., by the school. Kind of a sketchy pickup as school was just letting out and there were lots of people around.''

Heavy users of the flesh-peddler-friendly forum have screen names such as ``Boston Monger,'' ``Guess Who'' and ``Senior Citizen.''

But Quinn has another name for them.
``I think they're disgusting,'' she said.

Her group helps about 600 poor or battered women a week through counseling, arranging for psychotherapy, shelter referrals and group counseling.

The Web site has no listed owner. The domain name is registered to a post office box in Longwood, Fla., an Orlando suburb. An 800 number provided to contact the Webmaster is disconected.

The Web site's frequently asked questions section says a mystery man known only as Atta started the site in 1999. A fan known as ``Jackson'' took over and remodeled the site in 1999. He did not respond to e-mail requests for comment.

Jackson writes on the site that while the original board was meant as a study in prostitution, his version promotes it.
``Our mission is simple: finding women. . . . If you feel offended by stuff like this, I don't care.''

Just as drivers flash headlights to warn others motorists about upcoming speed traps, mongers post newspaper clippings of recent police stings, give new users advice on how to spot a decoy - a police officer posing as a hooker - and when to avoid the hot spots.

But while the mongers trade tips on how to stay out of jail, the eyes of the law are watching their cyber-chats. Cops in Lawrence check the site to track prostitution along the crime-ridden stretch of Broadway between Essex and Park streets.

In Boston, police spokeswoman Beverly Ford said officers use the site as an investigative tool.
``We are aware of the site and monitor it fairly regularly,'' she said.

She would not go into detail about how police use the site, saying that could hamper future investigations.

She said police have no plans to shut the site down, and that the forum is not breaking any laws by letting men swap information about streetwalkers.

``Just talking about it doesn't make it illegal,'' Ford said.

Just got back from Miami. The scene there, like everywhere, is a shadow of what it once was. But at least there is a scene -- a Spanish-only stripclub were you can get FS for $100, some SCs here you get decent laps for $10, and of course the SW scene mainly on Biscayne in the 'Little Haiti' section. Talked to a number of SWs and settled with a very young, sober, cute BSW from Gainesville named Destiny. I was actually in CT last night. I did see one probable at the Mobil Station afterwards. I did see a lot of thugs dealing. That's pretty much how it is, weather I go to Chelsea, CT or Boston.

It isn't the governor. It isn't the police. It is:

1. High real estate values. Yup, people who pay a lot of cake for their home/condo frown on SW's.

2. The internet. Why shake you butt down Harrison when you can advertise a car date on CL?

To back up my theory, merely look at the places you can still score. Worchester, Holyoke, etc. The SW's tend to run older, and less internet savy. The property values are low. The risk is higher. The cops know they are watching a craphole.

In conclusion, as the weather gets warmer, there will be more SW's. The prices will tend to flucurate, but more to the high side. The PA will hop again as the thermometer rises. Lawrence will pick up and Lowell will also. But it will never be like it was before. Just like you can't buy a $100k house inside of 495 or a $2 beer around the Garden. It's a new world Gents. Adapt or just don't play the game.

And forget about the old "go to" places like the Danish and Teddy's. They are gone, miles behind in the rear view mirror. Think Internet. That is the future.

What the local authorities do is driven by taxpayers, property values and money! Nobody legislated the combat zone out of existance. It's gone because the land that all of those strip clubs and peep show halls where built on became too valuable for the owners of those buildings NOT to sell. I'm haven't put too much research into it, but it would seem like this is a national trend. SW action seems to be down everywhere. After the urban blight of the 70's and the go go 80's things seemed to spiral down in the 90's.

On the local scene I knew CT was doomed when they put the new Ritz up right on the top corner of it. And as I mentioned before instead of seeing SWs on Tyler St at late night/early morning all you see now are college students and euro twinkes. I'm glad I got to see the scene in the early 90's and then take part of it in the late 90's. There used to be some really fine (7+) looking girls working the streets and a lot of them.

Mumbles didn't do a thing until they started developing CT in the late 90's. Boston under his 'leadership' has become grossly overdeveloped. City Square in Charlestown, which had nice sweeping views to the waterfront and Naval yard over the CANA Tunnel is a prime example. Mumbles seems quite intent on eliminating all the open space in downtown Boston.

I don't know why my original message was taken out of context. I said Mitt being the governor plays a SMALL role in the CT clamp down.

I might nose around CT when the warm weather and new stables get here for the spring before the BPD breaks up the action. After a trip to Eastern Europe I’m losing interest in the Boston scene.

i have been hunting for years. i rarely, if ever encounter a sw under the age of 28. i say 28, but they could be a rough 23-24. i mostly see sw's averaging around 40+. in the summer, the medium age does go down to late 20's, early 30's, but most sw's tend to run older. the youngest i personally encountered was 19 working the pa. could she have been younger? maybe 17-18, but not 15. if you talk to them they will more often then not tell you they are ex-strippers/escorts that have fallen down the food chain. and users.

summary: you will be hard pressed to find a minor working the street, since le knows all the street walkers, this "****" sw would last 5 minutes. i'm not saying it doesn't happen, i'm saying it is rare.

agencies. if you use an agency, chances are the girl will be between 19-29. this is something i know first hand. medium age i would say is 24. these girls are big $$ and tend to know the deal. 15? i doubt an agency would take that risk. a girl will bring in 2.5-3.0 only keeping 1.0 for herself.

cl: here is where you have a good chance of maybe encountering an **** girl. i find that a good 9/10 girls advertising are actually working for an agency. these girls tend to be 18-22. this i feel is where the escorts "break in". if you call a number, you will know (at least i do) if you are dealing with an adult professional or some kid. the hotel knows what is going on, and i bet they dropped the dime.

I'd like to say hello now that Jackson has upgraded my membership (Thanks Jackson) after lurking here since I read about it in that infamous Herald article.

I've been mongering since the early 80's. Back when there were at least a hundred girls working the zone 24 hours a day, and you could get services of all kinds in many of the peep shows. Removable plastic windows seperated you from her and back room video booths were big enough for two (everywhere except the original Liberty bookshop). And when places like Brockton, Worcester and Lowell not only had SW's in abundance, but they looked just like the CT girls did in their miniskirts, lingerie and bikini tops even in the winter. From then until the mid-90's there were so many 7-10's out there that I wouldn't pick up a girl unless I actually gasped in anticipation when I saw the size of her breasts and the amount of cleavage she was showing (I'm talking E,F,G cups and bigger). I shit you not, there was such a selection that in the 45 minutes it used to take to circle a block in CT itself, or the 20 minutes it took to go around the marginal/washington/harrison block back then (there were that many mongers) You would see a dozen (or dozens) of SW's and 3 or 4 that were so good looking that you just couldn't make up your mind which one you wanted. There was always a better looking SW right around the corner, getting out of someones car. Right up through that big surge of out-of-towners (love those D.C. girls) in the summer of 99 there was always someone too voluptuous or hot to pass up.

Those days are gone, and man do I miss them.

Now I go into CT and see maybe three or four SW's, all bundled up so you can't tell what they really look like, all you can see is their faces, and they just look beat, maybe strung out, not really worth taking a chance on. Chelsea is just empty and Worcester and Lowell aren't even worth the drive anymore. Dorchester ave. and Blue Hill ave. have been disappointing also. Providence is about the same as Brockton, it's hit and miss with an occasional home run that I'll report on here.

Maybe someday, girls will be out again. Maybe when the economy isn't as good or more probably when the birth rate 18-24 years ago is high again (another few years) The birth rate in that demographic is a major factor for increases and decreases in crime statistics and when it rises again, jobs will be fewer and more girls will be on the street.

It's really too bad the SW action has declined in the US. There used be a lot of good action in San Diego as well. Part of the problem was that the string of serial murders like the Green river killer put a lot of pressure on the cops to crack down. I miss all the action in CT too, part of the fun used to be going there just for the show. Room serviced: Alleged prostitutes arrested at hotel

Chelmsford Police arrested two women who allegedly set up a sex-for-money business in one of the Radisson Hotel guest rooms on Friday.

Linda Boland, 33, of Lawrence, and Jill Sparrow, 28, of Brewster, were arraigned in Lowell District Court Monday on prostitution charges.

Boland also faced charges from four outstanding warrants.

According to Chelmsford Police Deputy Chief Jim Murphy, a hotel employee contacted police after noticing a steady stream of foot traffic in and out of the room.

The responding officer confirmed the employee's report of suspicious activity in the room, said Murphy, then contacted Inspector Gary Hannigan and Inspector Gail Hunter.

Once on scene, said Murphy, the two inspectors observed a man leaving the room under surveillance.

When they asked the man what was going on inside the room, he reportedly told them it was a sex-for-hire operation, said Murphy.

Officers then knocked on the hotel room's door and were let in by the two suspects, said Murphy.

"When the officers entered the room, they observed evidence of a small prostitution ring," said Murphy.

Inspectors allegedly discovered about $100 in cash as well as a list of telephone numbers, which officers believe represents potential clients.

Although police did not arrest the man they questioned outside the hotel room, Murphy said he will be summoned to court to face charges of offering money for sex.

According to Murphy, the two women reportedly set up a Web site offering "massage therapy" on a strictly cash basis.

The investigation is still open, he said, as Chelmsford Police look into whether the Radisson case is related to similar incidents in other towns.

Earlier this month, Arlington Police arrested three individuals - including two 15-year-old girls - who reportedly set up a prostitution business at the Hawthorne Suites in that town.

According to Arlington Police Chief Fred Ryan, those three suspects were part of a larger mobile prostitution ring which has been setting up shop in area hotels and then advertising its business on a Web site.

The group, which Ryan believes is run out of Boston, usually spends about a week to 10 days before moving to a new locale.

Good input, but I must share something here. If the LE is suspecting, you are already done in. They don't need probable cause, or evidence. If they suspect you were on your way or creeping to the door of a suspect...your tagged and(like the fellows in the article) bagged.

As for hotels, I used to work at that Radisson in Chelmsford MA, so here are a few tips, especially for the Radisson.

Try to go to the hotel an hour ahead of time to scope out for secondary entrances to the hotel, especially if you want to avoid the front desk staff. For the Radisson, go in through the back door of the building that is farthest to the right. It is the door by the bar. There are no staff working there, except for at the bar.

Don't bother with the elevator. If you have to go in through the front door, walk by the front desk, say good morning or afternoon, and head down the hallway. Go to the stairs at the end of the hall. Hotel employeees do not see every person who checks into a hotel - different people check at different hours. FYI - the Radisson used to have shift changes at 7am, 3pm, and 11pm. You will NOT see the overnight shift work any of the day shifts - I used to work the overnight shift there. If you don't want to say hi, just pretend to be reading a map, newspaper, or magazine as you walk through the front lobby.

By going to the stairs at the end of the hallway, you are walking out of eye sight of hotel employees. They will have no clue as to where you are going. More than likely - like the Radisson - they will not have cameras in the hallways or stairwells. Once you are out of eyesight of the front desk staff, you are free to go anywhere you want in the hotel.

Be smart, if you are meeting up with some chick at a hotel, like the Radisson, ask if there is more than one building and which one she is in. The Radisson is technically two buildings that are only connected with a walkway on the first floor. If she is at the Radisson, hopefully she is in the building with the bar. There is no hotel staff in the lobby of this part of the hotel.

Just remember, hotel employees see lots of faces, generally too many to remember. Plus, a lot of front desk staff hate their jobs and really don't care what happens in the hotel, just as long as they can't be yelled at for what is happening during there shift.

The man leaned against a brick wall in an alley behind the Shubert Theatre on Tremont Street, the handlebar of a stolen bicycle clutched in his fist and a folding double-bladed scythe in his pocket.

In a voice barely a whisper he asked another man standing with him in the dark if he had $20 rocks of cocaine for sale.

``Holding?'' the admitted bicycle thief asked the convicted crack dealer. ``Any fat twenties?''

The men caught the attention of Sgt. George Survillo, commander of the Boston Police Mounted Unit, who had a bird's-eye view of the exchange from his horse. Before the duo had a chance to run, they were surrounded by cops, handcuffed and busted for recieving stolen property and then searched for drugs.

It was 10:42 p.m. Friday night and Operation Hydra, a task force of cops spread out along the 20-square blocks that make up the Theater District, Park Square and Chinatown, marked its first arrests for the night.

The operation began March 18 to target the drug dealers, prostitutes and purse snatchers that historically have held the area under siege. After just two weeks, the neighborhood's lifeblood - business owners - were feeling its effects.

``It's like a drug supermarket down here. It's pretty bad,'' said Dominic Paolo, 39, the owner of Dominic's restaurant on Tremont Street. Paolo and six other area business owners pay out of their own pockets for extra police patrols on the weekends to keep customers safe.

``I've been feeling better out there these last two weeks,'' Paolo said. ``I hope they keep this up so the undesirables don't just hide out while the cops are here and then come back.''

Deputy Superintendent Darrin Greeley - who created the idea of Operation Hydra while reading Greek legends to his children about the multiheaded snake that grows a new head when one is cut off - is well aware that a massive police presence cannot be a full-time solution. Area A-1 commander Captain Bernard O'Rourke and Chinatown community leaders have created a plan to install 17 cameras to monitor criminal activity in the area by April - making it the first neighborhood in Boston to be under 24-hour surveillance.

``We are not measuring the success of this operation with arrest numbers,'' Greeley said. ``We succeed when the community says their quality of life has improved, when people can enjoy this area and feel safe.''

More than 50 people have been arrested since the operation began for charges ranging from prostitution to drug possession, police said.

O'Rourke said battling dealers has been one of his ``biggest challenges.'' It is not the first time police have pushed the dealers out, only to have them set up shop nearby, and move back in when the sea of blue diminishes.

``It has been a cat-and-mouse game for several years,'' he said. ``This operation is a way to make a permanent improvement.''

Chinatown Cafe owner Hing Soo Hoo, who supports the neighborhood cameras, said sweeping those people, many of them coming to the area from outside of Boston to buy drugs or solicit prostitutes, is essential for business.

``There are a lot of problems here,'' Hoo Soo said yesterday. ``Friday night, police were everywhere. It's good for the people of Chinatown.''

The police presence may have assuaged some residents' fears, but it did not deter many drug dealers. Six people were arrested Friday night alone for selling narcotics, including a 35-year-old homeless woman who sold crack in a school zone to an undercover detective, said Transit Police Lt. Detective Mark Gillespie.

``The drugs lead to other crimes, robberies, assaults,'' Gillespie said. ``It's all connected.''

I imagine (and hope) that the drug aspect was their main concern. I still socialize a little in the theater district/alley area and the number of punk ass gang banger drug dealers I see is staggering. I think the article said 16 arrests were made and that can't even be half of the dealers I see out there. These little bastards verbally assault attractive women and physically assault their boyfriends if they stand up to them. They're not there for the bars, nightclubs or streetwalkers, they're there to sell drugs and get in fights. These are the same types who ruined the area for independent streetwalkers a few years back by getting in their faces for hours jabbering that "work for me or I'll fuck you up" shit, and blocking their cars in traffic when they drove around in their cars because they couldn't walk the track anymore. These jerks were more effective than the police in driving away the independents (independent meaning not working for a pimp) These are the same types who shoot up playgrounds in Dorchester and Roxbury trying to hit someone who "dissed" them and accidentally shoot 10 year old girls. Real men, real tough guys they are.

Getting these clowns out of the area means less citizen complaints and less police presence. Operation squeeze which targeted prostitution meant a sting in a one block area in Chinatown, Dorchester and Roxbury, operation Hydra which targets both meant a sting in at least a ten block area just in the Chinatown/ Theater District/Park Plaza/Bay Village area. Lose the drug dealers and it's back to a smaller sting. I want these dealers gone because it brings less police attention to the area and because they're a detriment to society as a whole.

And yes, I know that the police want me/us gone as well, but I see our crime as a much lesser one whereas at least in my case I go there, obey the traffic laws, do my business in a "safe" way, away from the eyes of everyone but us, never physically harming or forcing anything in any way, depart the area and go home. I harm no one in the process and pass on nothing communicable.

Thanks to a kind recommendation from WebDog, I called one of the several Quincy AMP's advertised in the Phoenix and went for an appointment. If you search the AD, it says "# 1 Best Massage". I'm finally back east after a stay in the west and thought I'd take a late-night spin through the usual haunts. I went through the PA, the square, and then CT. Nothing in the PA except a bunch of mongers circling around. I did see one possible in the square at the bus shelter- tall BSW in a short skirt. But she got scooped up by an SUV and disappeared.

CT there was a bit more action. One WSW totally out of it. And then later I saw a couple more possible WSW who looked a little too clean-cut to be SWs. My last pass through I saw one of the "SW" talking to what looked like an UC, and then saw a car pulled over by a couple of LE. That was all I needed to see and I booked it out of there.

Funny that with all the publicity about LE cracking down, I still saw a ton of drug dealers openly dealing. Guess letting them peddle crack is ok but letting the girls and clients alone isn't. Let's hear it for priorities.

What the hell am I supposed to do when I see this? She wasn't someone I wanted to pick up so I didn't want to pick her up to monger. I also didn't want to pick her up just to get her out of there because we all know if I picked her up NOT to monger the Police would have driven up seconds later. Somehow I don't think they would have believed me when I told them I only picked her up to get her away from them.

These assclowns are the real enemy. They drive away the independents. Who knows what they do to these girls when there are no witnesses. Do they abduct, then beat, rape or murder them? I doubt it, but I do know the girls either disappear from the streets after this shit happens or start working for those particular pimps. I know because I've seen this shit before in years past.

There's only one way to fight them and that's to hit them where they can feel it (no not in the the nuts) I never, under any circumstances pick up a girl with a pimp hanging around. If I see one hanging in a doorway or on some stairs nearby, I go by her. Same thing when I see the lookouts on the corners watching out for 5-0. And if I don't see a pimp but pick up a girl and she mentions a "manager" or gets cell phone calls every 5 minutes telling her to hurry up, that's the last time I see her. And yes, I know not to get directly involved and I have no illusions of being a white Knight riding into the sunset with a fair maiden after fighting "windmills". Friday evening was a good night that I cut out a bit early to stroll my usual spots in the hood. There was a bit of activity on the Dot Ave stroll late last night. If it looked to good to be true, it probably is, and that was the case. And the transit police are back crusing CT after a break of a couple of years. Watch out for those yahoos. They got a chip on their shoulders and have been watching too many re runs of COPS.

When Jackson's old site went kerflooey, I had no idea what happened. Finally a new site started up with none of the previous posts. I joined, but no one was posting anything. My mongering activity has decreased significantly since tghe demise of the old site. This sent me into serious freakout mode as I was right in the middle of changing jobs. I am now in a position that requires greater .... discretion.

Nonetheless, I have cruised CT and the Produce Area a few times. Every single time i have been to PA, I have seen NOTHING; however, I did pick up a really hot SW in the downtown chelsea area. To recap for the readers: Landshark posted a message describing how - months before - he was pulled over with a girl in his car. No one was arrested, no ticket was issued. He just got a stern message from the cop and sent on his way.

Much later, he had to go through a background check for a job and it seemed that the incident showed up.

At the time he posted this, I had put in my notice in my old job and accepted an offer for a new job. The only problem was that the new job offer was pending an extensive criminal background check (not just a CORI). I have never had anything more than a speeding ticket, but I was rousted by a cop in Boston (South of Washington area) a couple of years ago. He ran my license and my plates and sent me on my way. This was not before he made the girl get out and walk away. He also told me that he "knew exactly what I was doing"

Landshark's story majorly freaked me out and I was sure that I would soon be unemployed. However, I passed the check with no incident. Nonetheless, the question remains what kind of records cops keep of stops with no arrests.

The few times I have been out cruising in the last 6 months or so have been really dry. I know things should be picking up as the weather gets better, but please everyone keep in mind that good weather means the cops are setting up stings. Stay safe.

I scanned CL up and down, calling at least 6 places. Some listings had pics, some didn't. Most of the numbers, I think all, were escort services.
