I came across a listing on the internet Yellow Pages for what sounds like an AMP in Belle Chasse" "Bamboo Bay Spa, Suite B, 7670 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse." I checked out that address. There's a nail salon in Suite D (I think) and where Suite B ought to be there's a new H. L. Block Tax place. The nail place looks legit. This would be a good place for an AMP (the Naval Air Station is just down Hwy 23), but if it was ever there it seems to be gone now.

Does anyone on this list have any information about "Bamboo Bay"?

I trolled on Chef Mentur this p.m., but saw and encountered nothing. Nosed into 2-3 of the motels and again nothing stirring.

I'm looking for some decent semi-pro action working out of a apartment or house. Lots of this elsewhere (Houston), but hard to find here. If anyone has some suggestions, I'd appreciate some digits. PM me. Thanks.

Well I had some cash, time and a job in New Orleans, and I went a mongering.

First Night:
After hitting the Quarter and heading back to the hotel and adjacent to the hotel was the Green Door Spa. Stopped in mamasan says 60 for an hour. Then get lead into the room, another women comes in, very unattractive and begins to massage about 15 minutes ask want more, I am like lets see what they have to offer. She says if you want more mamasan has to do it ( a plus) beacuse she is pregnant. Mamasan comes in and says get 120 in cash and good to go. Looking at her I declined.

Second night:
Went to the Quarter and stopped in one of the clubs south of Bourbon, small club , two girls working, one wacko and one young blond cutie. Buy the ladies a drink, bartender asks if I would like a private room (BONUS). Walk back room with couch, $200 (ouch). I ask the girl is it worth it? She says it is. A WASTE! Good lap dance top only and she complained that the manager tries to hustle her out.

Third Night:
Went to the Quarter, to a place around from the first Sho Something, very quiet on a Monday. A very attractive brunette escorts me to the table and we talk. But the lady a drink. Within ten minutes the DJ/bartender ask me if I would like the VIP lounge or more. Always looking for it all I say more? Yes I could take her to my place. Score one for the team, the cost 300 plus the girls fee. What the? The bouncer asks me again in another 1o minutes whaddya think, bring her home? I say no but but the lady another drink and a dance. She whispers give me your number and I will call you. Gave the digits and I left.

Fourth Day:
Ring ring it was her to my suprise she called. What are you doing for lunch. Nothing. How about me then. Ok whats the damage? 140. Not bad you are on. She comes up, slightly rushed, nice body, wanted me to get there, slight cuddle, then adios. Decent not worth the buyout clause but worth a try after the Gras is over. She said she made $20K last mardo gras.

Hope all this money was well spent, at least I had some fun parting with the$$. Still beats the slots at Harrahs.

I'll be heading down to NOLA for business in March. Is this place still open? Any other new recommendations other than Tulane girls? All the help is much appreciated!

Recently in NOLA:

Cruised the Artist Cafe and others nearby. Same old hags and scam, 200 room and then more for the hag. NO WAY. What a joke these traps are. Girls are bottom feeders waiting to scam drunken tourists. This must be the worst city I have ever been in for this. No respect for the city's lascivious history! Bangcok spa was not answering the door when I stopped by. Green door looked too creepy and I did not walk down to the new AMP on Canal.

On the few occasions I've been hobbying in New Orleans, including a few weeks ago when the board was down, I cruised mostly Airline Hwy out where some of those cheap motels are before the airport. There is a stretch near an intersection I forget the name of (forgive me!) but it has a biker bar (and tattoo parlor?), a fast food place and, running parallel to Airline to the south, an alley that runs for about 3 or 4 blocks and which serves some light industrial businesses along Airline. I mention this because there were sometimes girls in this alley. If I recall correctly, just south of the alley was a steep railway embankment and, at one point, the entrance to a strange little neighborhood with just one entrance and exit.

I've never had the best luck there but on this one occasion, after seeing not much but a couple of skanks, I saw this gorgeous olive skinned girl running down Airline in tight running pants, a tight middle-showing shirt and sunglasses. I didn't think she was dating but swung around and pulled up to her and, to my surprise, she got in. She was older but very good looking and fit, and very friendly. I've forgotten her name but she said she works at a dress shop and had friends around there. I took her to the empty parking lot of what looked like a lumber yard or some other industrial concern down Airline and got a CBJ although she first wanted FS and then BBBJ. I only do CBJ and wasn't comfortable with FS out in the open so it was covered. The BJ was only average, due in part to the condom making her gag(!). However, she was very nice looking, very friendly and personable, cheap ($40) and worth looking for and taking to someplace more conducive to fun. I hope I can luck out again the next time I'm there.

Generally, I found the street scene to be not so good there. I tried Chef a few times but nothing worth stopping for and the neighborhood was not great.

Check out Toky Models on Chef Mentour. Hot, Young girls, decent place. 60 for hour, 120 for FS. I go often. Excellent.

Just curious, but when rates are posted (ie. .6 hour, 1.2 fs) does this mean .6 + 1.2, or just 1.2 total?

I'm really new to the amp scene, and don't want to be a party to rate inflation.

I have RTFF. If this post in some way violates the spirit of this particular part of the forums, I appologize.

Went down to New Orleans for a bachelor party back in January. On top of all the tourist attraction stuff, and the casinos, we went to three strip clubs, and I visited an AMP.

The first Club we went to was "The Gold Club" on Iberville. The Gold Club is a gentleman's club; the ladies will come and sit on your lap and talk to you , share a drink, etc. eventually offering you a private dance while inbetween stage dances. The girl who came and sat on my lap was named Jenifer. She was 30, slightly pretty, in fairly good shape, and from Pensacola, Fl. She greeted me by sitting on my lap and grabbing my cock which I took as a fairly good sign. After talking to her for about half an hour, she asked me if I wanted a lap dance for $40. I agreed and she took me upstairs to a booth, where there was privacy. The only 2 rules were 1.) it had to stay in my pants , 2.) no insertion. The Gold Club is a topless only establishment, don't know if this is the norm for NOLA but it was at the 3 strip clubs we went to. She gave a very nice lap dance, and I did a good deal of roaming, and kissing/sucking. After the song we went back downstairs and talked, drank, smoked for about an hour and then she asked me if I wanted a private dance $250/half-an-hour. I told her I had $100, and wanted DATY, which violated rule #2. She said DATY would be ok, and she could do it for $200. I agreed. Back upstairs we went to a place with a door. the bouncer had me sign something I could not read because of the lighting, I wrote my name so it could not be read. Half an hour of roaming, kissing, sucking, lap dance, HJ through pants, then she unzipped me and pulled it out, HJ, and during the last 6 minutes BBFS in a vain effort to bring me TC. We left soon after I returned. Though TC was not completed I did leave very happy.

The second place we went to was The Crazy Horse. It sucked. The girls were not as good looking on the whole. They didn't come to the tables, generaly. They were pushing t-shirts and private dances. The bachelor took a dance but did not report on it. We left shortly after.

The third club we went to was Rick's caberet. It had good reviews. Many guys had brought their wives and girlfriends along. I found that disturbing, kinda took away from the idea that a man could go somewhere to get away from one's warden and relax and get one's needs met uninhibitedly without holding back or second guessing what to do. The girl who sits next to me is pushy, has a fake laugh at least 2 times a minute, wants to give me a lap dance for $20, or a private dance for $340 - cash, $400- credit card. I pawned her off onto the bachelor. Sorry sucker! The wives, etc. were getting more than the men. And while some of the guys were turned on by the girl-on-girl action, the reality is that these women were getting what the men should have been getting but weren't because they were there. The rules were different for the women than they were for the men, and so the men were being gyped out of an experience because the women were there. I eventually saw a cute number named Jane, who was a waif with a school-girl quality to her. I had her give me lap dance. She was much more easy going than the first girl. I was roaming pretty good, and kissing and sucking her tits. She took it in stride laughing. I was expecting to get bounced. Didn't happen though. She did not offer the private dance. After she left I decided to split the party and go to Bangkok Spa.

Bangkok Spa is on 509 Iberville. I paid $60 for an hour, had a maseuse named Tina. No TS. 5 minutes of the worst back rub I've ever had, it was downright painful. On the flip, she asked what I wanted. I said BJ, she says $100, I offer $60, she says no, I tell her $80 is all I have (the truth as far as cash in pocket). She says for $60 HJ only. I agree. She pushes away all atempts at roaming beyond her legs and ass, and seems unhappy with that, but doesn't say to stop. A very mechanical HJ, after 5 minutes she begins to look very frustarted. At 10 minutes, she tells me that she's been at it for a long time, and if I didn't complete in 2 minutes then it was over. She Gives it an extra 2 minutes 2 times and then gives up in disgust and says she's done, she won't finish it, and walks out the door. She comes back with towels to wash me off, and asks if something is wrong. I tell her yes, and I want to speak to the mamasan. She says the mamsan is not there. I tell her I know the mamasan is there and I want to speak to her. She continues to lie about her not being there. I stroll NOLA looking for payphones to call the mamasan. When I call the number is busy or it rings forever. The next day right before I'm leaving town I stroll back to the spa, to talk to the mamasan, and LE are outside of the spa moving traffic along and talking to some asian woman. I stroll past and go back to the no-tell. At the airport, I call and get a hold of the mamasan. I explain to her that I was not happy with the treatment I had recieved, and Tina's attitude. She asks where I am, and I let her know I'm heading out of town. She asks to which town, and I say DC. She says "ok, have a happy new year." I have the feeling that if I was staying longer the mamasan might have done something to make it up to me but I'll never know. My back is still in pain 2 days later from the massage. Bangkok Spa is listed in the phone directory as "Sun Spa". The information is:

Bangkok Spa
509 Iberville Rd.
New Orleans, Louisiana
(504)525 - 5568

As always YMMV, but Tina was the absolute worst provider I have ever had. I advise anyone willing to take a chance on Bangkok to refuse service from Tina and leave if they won't find you someone else. I would've advised to avoid Bangkok altogether if not for the mamasan's question about where I was at that particular time, which gave me the impression that she may have been willing to make me an offer to ensure my happiness in some way.

I only saw one SW, and she was smoking, blond, young, pretty, and already grabbed by some older guy who was asking her how long she'd been working the streets. I didn't get the feeling that he was LE, but rather a pathetic older man who wanted to know more about his conquest. Of course, it's possible that they were both LE, and they were rehersing her lines. It didn't seem like that was the case, but she did look too good to be true.

I saw plenty of visitor's tits on Bourbon street for free. I had a great time in NOLA except for the unfortunate time with Tina.

Gentlemen:

I have been a wayward monger for a while, chasing my wee-wee into the same small hole over and over again. But that was yesterday! Now I am back and telling you all that NOLA is a LATE NIGHT AFFAIR! Dont go out early in the quarter. dont go out late on Airline, or Chef Monteuer. The quarter is an off bourbon scene, but only a few feet. skip the strip clubs unless you want to pay beux-coups for very little. Depends on the night, but between 2 and 5AM every morning there are too many BSWs to count.

A new stroll is happening out on jeferson hwy, near and around causeway. White chick named Kristen been hanging around aou there looking for crack money. I gave her some money for her crack and it was worth every penny. She took me for 14 USD and a promise to get her next time. We'll see about that!

I also have met Corey several times and refered her to my closer freinds, she bills higher at near 150 USD, but I keep her down to one bill. but at that rate she is less willing to come meet new meat.

I wont post her number, but I might "trade" it.

She is tall, 5'10 near 140LBs blond and safe sex all day. she loves regulars and will take me as a reference under my "real" name AKA the bullshit name I gave her. She walks off burbon and looks way too classy, be bold. Say "Hey corey!" see if she turns.

Good luck bozo boyooz

Be Well Advised!

This is a nice person. BUT, appears to be a post-op transsexual.

From the first moment I saw her and heard her voice, my radar was going haywire. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

If this is your cup of tea, she is very pleasant company. If not, you may want to hunt elsewhere.

There is, despite some reports to the contrary, some SW activity in N.O. In recent days, I have spotted (but not engaged) WSWs near the Texas Motel/BP station on Airline. One of these looked interesting, but by the time I got turned around she had disappeared. Blonde in hotpants. Also, near Jack's Motel on Chef. I picked up one short dirty blonde near Jack's, who called herself Kimberly. She is a nutcase so I bought her a softdrink and dropped her back. Lots of LE on Chef.

Anyone got any current info on Tokyo Modeling?

I've been in NOLA for about a year and have used the information on this board. I have found some spots I d like to share and some thoughtws on others

I ve had alot of luck on Esplanade between Claibornre and Rampart, young girls, great work ethic, quality job performance BBJCIM usually about 25-30. You should be kinda picky as some are worth passing by. I m bad with names, most are fake anyway, but one is young reddish, blonde hair, fake bombs and cute, she's a top notch performer. Look for a newbie, Michelle I think, short brunette bob hair do, red backpack high quality BBBJ for 30. I ve found action at all times of day and night.

I ve seen only limited talent on airline/tulane, but I recently found an interesting spot on a street that runs between airline and jeff. highway between causeway and clearview.

I'll be posting more as I see more action on the board.

Come on guys, lets share some info.

The street you refer to that runs between Airline and Jefferson highway (betwen Clearview and Causeway) is Central Avenue. I cruised it a couple of times and saw a WSW in jeans, thins but a little hard faced walking. After the turn-around, I watched her get in a truck, so she was obviously working.

The stretch between Williams and Roosevelt is quite active again. I saw 2 WSW's - one really thin and really bold (a 4) hitching and hiking. She got picked up but was let out almost immediately. The other was a bit thick but looked to have nice tits. I also saw a couple of BSW's but none of the above seemed worth the risk or trouble.

The old traditional Clearview to Causeway drag is slower but I have seen a few WSW's in the areas, but once again they looked druggy and beaten down.

Out chef Hwy, more of the same. Sadly, I haven't seen a single SW who made me think that I had to have her. Although more costly, the AMP's just seem to be the best deals going.

Now - I have seen ads placed in the back of Gambit and at least 2 of them said "Enjoy a stress relaxtion hour with a busty and friendly creole for 70" Now how good the service and how good they look - and is that's a total price, I don't know as I haven't tried them out. I figure if I'm up to 70, I ight as well go the full bck twenty for a great AMP experience.

Anyone tred the Gambit gals?

holy crap,
this is the busiest us city i've ever been in. There were at least 40 girls in the past 2 nights that were wanting to party. They are all over the place and i'm just going outside my door on bourbon street.

The prices are between 50-75 for an hour. I'm sure it would go lower if i went out of the french quarter. I did one blondy that was ok looking, tight, sucked a mean cock, but was strung out so bad that she though i was going to beat her and ran early.

then i bought drinks for these 2 lovely black lady's. they taught me how to dance and move. grabbing my manly parts and humping me on the dance flooor. they were 2 for 150, but i didn't have the cash on me.

This place is jumpin'.

Yesterday afternoon around 6 or 6:30, I was coming in on Airine and turned onto that small backstreet that runs parallel to Airline.

Just behind the Texas Motel and the small BP station, there were three Jeff Parish sheriff cars and 5-6 of Harry Lee's finest. I had to get off the road to drive past. The deputies gave me the fish eye, but didn't bother with me.

Didn't see anyone in custody.

Anyone else notice anything?

Had the day off Monday so took some time to cruise the New Orleans area during the late afternoon. Saw nothing on Airline but did a loop over to Jefferson and saw two WSW and a BSW on a side street a couple blocks from Causeway. Decided to pass and headed to Tulane. Pulled into the Burger King to get some dinner and was greeted by a Blond in shorts and halter-type top asking if I was looking for Melanie. I said no and went inside. When I returned she was still in the parking lot so I offered her a ride. She indicated she was waiting for someone so I left, did a loop and returned about ten minutes later. As soon as I pulled into the lot she climbed into the car. Said she was an escort but her date was a no show. Did the I'm not LEO dance and then went to a motel where .5$ was greeted by BBBJ and FS. Would rate her a Face=6 Body=7/8 (some tats) and service 6-7 but a little rushed. She mentioned the internet several times and Craigs List at least once so would guess that is how she arranges regular dates.

WHERE NOT TO BOTHER

Chef Hwy has been reccomended in postings on this board. I wouldnt bother trying it again. LE is everywhere. SW are skittish.

Airline seems like thin picking, saw a few WSW but none worth stopping for and the open terrain gives LE a great chance of nailing you.

WHERE TO GO

Suprisingly the French Quarter is busting open with semi-pro SW. Bourbon Street is the best. By 9 at night if there is a big crowd because of a festival or big convention on in town there are probably 50 or more women on the prowl. They won't be obvious. They blend in, often going into bars or dance clubs and having some fun. They are generally much more attractive than the average SW and better dressed.

Some tips I discovered on how to ID them. (1) They wont be bearing their breast under the Hotel balconies (they are more distcrete). (2) You may notice a good looking woman holding hands with a guy chatting as they walk down the street. If you see the same woman walking back in the other direction later hand in hand with another guy then you've ID'ed a SW. (3) SW will be on their own, with a female friend, or walking with a prospective John as just noted. (4) BSW and multiracial seem to make up over half of the SW crowd. (5) Most will have their best assets fairly clearly displayed. For example if they have DD boobs they will have a low cut blouse; great legs they will have short short.

Once I got my eye in I was ID'ing them all around me. I then starting chatting with them. Some have a card with their phone numbers. Prices are higher than on the side streets but so is the quality. Also in the crowd if you leave arm in arm it's essentially impossible for LE to bust you.

I ended up with a DDD BSW. I will give details in next report.

Over the past two weeks I have been cruising the areas that are listed in these reports. I can only go mongering at the lunchtime area and I have not seen one single SW anywhere. I have go down Central Ave in Jefferson. I have gone down Airline to the Texas Motel. I have gone down Esplanade Ave. I have gone down Jefferson Highway and I have gone down Airline from Roosevelt to Williams and I have seen nothing.

Come on fellow mongers, help a guy out. Is there no action during the daytime available.?

Raindog11
06-22-05, 18:38
Basically, there's very little to report.

LE in both Jefferson and Orleans have really cracked down on SWs over the years. I think it started around 8 to 10 years ago. They've devoted a great deal of manpower to the issue, and they've been very successful as a result. Odd how they can't seem to employ such tactics for violent criminals.

Your best bet is to work through streets in the evening, the later the better. Due to LE and their recreational habits, the girls are mostly night owls.

Otherwise, stick to the quarter.

APPETITE FOR VICE
They troll the shadows, the seamy underbelly of New Orleans. They're NOPD cops, and they're trying to dent the city's centuries-old reputation as a Gomorrah where sex has a price tag.
Sunday, July 03, 2005
By Trymaine D. Lee
Staff writer

It was not quite midnight in late June, humid and hot as it had been at noon. Two New Orleans cops, friends since grade school, stood in the parking lot of a motel on Chef Menteur Highway, wrestling with a woman they just busted for trying to turn a cheap trick.

She had made a deal with an undercover vice squad cop: $25 and a beer for oral and vaginal sex. The haggard, street-worn woman was a far cry from the exotic courtesans of Storyville, the fabled red-light district that clinched the city's reputation for high-class whoredom a century ago. Needle tracks ran down her arms from her inner elbows to her wrists. "Many people in this lifestyle don't have a really long lifespan," said Sgt. Pat Jones, leader of the New Orleans Police Department's seven-member vice squad. "And you see so much of it you get a jaundiced view of the world. This changes you."

The woman pleaded her innocence as her feet were shackled and her cheetah-print dress wound its way up her thighs to her waist. "No sir, no sir, no sir! I didn't proposition nobody," she pleaded, wrenching her back and crumbling to the ground as officers pushed then dragged her into the back of a police cruiser.

"You have no right to take me to jail," she yelled, kicking.

"Calm down, ma'am, stop resisting arrest," said Jones' boyhood buddy and current commander, Capt. Tim Bayard, the officer who presides over both the vice squad and the NOPD's narcotics unit.

Her screams faded, then died as the squad car drove into the darkness. Another night, another bust.

"All this over a bulls- - - ***** case," Bayard said, shaking his head. He admits he has grown weary of and numb to the prostitutes' sob stories. With three decades in the NOPD, Bayard said, he's heard the same excuses regurgitated over and over, every time a "working girl" or her male counterpart gets caught with pants down.

Many prostitutes don't take getting arrested too seriously. Prostitution in Louisiana and the rest of the nation, excluding Nevada where it is legal, is a misdemeanor. Even though Bayard said he sees Orleans Parish District Attorney Eddie Jordan seeking more prison time for habitual offenders, most are hit with a court date, a fine and then redirected to a drug-treatment program. Then they find their way back to the streets and back to their old tricks, Bayard said.

Jones said some of the prostitutes busted by the vice squad are neglected housewives yearning for attention or women whose boyfriends or husbands work the graveyard shift or are long-distance truckers. Others are broke, down on their luck or just unemployed. Many male prostitutes are more focused on robbery than sex.

But most prostitutes, of both sexes, he said, are junkies.

"You're not going to find Halle Berry out here," Jones said. "This is rock bottom."

Leave work at work

For cops working vice in a city such as New Orleans there are three rules: Never blow a case by making a suspect an offer before she or he has propositioned you, never compromise your integrity, and never ever take the war stories home to the wife and kids.

Because at the end of the day, all the officers have is the oath they swore to uphold, the brotherhood they share with the unit, and their families -- and you don't break those bonds for anything, members of the elite unit said. The officers of the squad asked not to be identified for this story.

"My guys got to be untouchable," Bayard said. "They got to be beyond reproach. Your credibility is worth more than anything; you lose your credibility, and you might as well quit."

With pockets full of cash, vice cops enter a sad, sometimes sinister underworld of sex and drug addiction on a daily basis. Corrupt cops before them have walked the thin line between roguishness and righteousness -- and fallen hard.

During the summer of 1988, the city's vice unit was merged with the narcotics unit. It was resurrected in 1992, and within a year, three officers, including the unit's commander, were indicted by a grand jury, accused of shaking down strip clubs in the French Quarter. Amid a brewing storm of allegations of corruption, the unit was shut down in February 1993. At least two officers were sentenced to jail.

"In the early to mid-1990s, the department of internal affairs was dysfunctional," said Anthony Radosti, vice president of the Metropolitan Crime Commission, an independent police watchdog group. "The good ol' boys tended to rule, and the department closed its eyes to problems."

The unit rose again in 1998.

"The temptations out there are far beyond imagination. You have to have a solid commander, good rank, and you have to take the best guys you can find on the NOPD," Radosti said. He lauded Bayard and his officers for turning the once-corrupt organization into a sound, productive unit.

"Capt. Timmy Bayard is one of the best that the department has, and he runs a tight ship," Radosti said. "He doesn't allow or tolerate his officers misbehaving. . . . And Sgt. Jones is a good, solid guy."

Radosti said the MCC has never received a complaint about the vice unit under Bayard's nearly five-year watch.

Police Chief Eddie Compass said he expects the vice squad, like any other unit in the department, to keep clean. "A vice unit officer is no different from any other officer in the NOPD," Compass said. "We have to ensure, for the people we serve, that our officers are operating and maintaining at the highest levels of integrity."

In its current seven-member manifestation, the unit operates at only half the size it once was and is still budgeted to be.

In a city with an abundance of crime, no one pretends that prostitution is a plague comparable to murder. But police don't accept the argument that it is "victimless." Besides the degradation it inflicts on the men and women caught up in the life, Jones said prostitution is one of many cogs in the economic engine that drives the drug trade. And the drug trade is widely considered to be at the heart of the city's epidemic of violence and death.

That still leaves open to question whether vice squad measures to counter prostitution are having much of an effect. Squad members find themselves arresting some of the same prostitutes again and again. And, for every prostitute taken off the streets, temporarily or for good, another seems to pop up to take his or her place. In 2003, the vice unit made 895 arrests, including for prostitution, drugs and gambling. In 2004, it made 673. This year it has made about 350 for vice-related crimes in the city, according to police records.

"This is our nation's silent epidemic," said Anne Bissell, 42, a former prostitute and founder of Sex Industry Survivors, a nationwide network of support groups helping prostitutes get off the streets. "People think it's glamorous," Bissell said. They think of Heidi Fleiss, the so-called Hollywood madam, or the movie "Pretty Woman." The reality, Bissell said, is that "it's a very violent, ugly and depressing lifestyle."

Without continuing vigilance, Jones said, prostitution would be ubiquitous. "The problem would grow out of control, and there would be working guys and girls on each block, saturating some parts of the city."

Waiting to be propositioned

Sometimes things fall apart, Jones said, and that's usually when officers get "that feeling in your gut."

Prostitutes get it too, he said. But the prospect of quick cash usually cloaks their fears, he said, or at least dulls their senses long enough for the vice squad to swoop in and make an arrest before they realize what's happening.

"A lot of them see (mixing it up) with us as the price of doing business," Jones said, cruising down Tulane Avenue in an unmarked car with tinted windows. Jones' car is one of the squad's four unmarked NOPD vehicles that -- always with a marked patrol car in close proximity -- roll through the city streets hunting hookers.

When a streetwalker and an undercover officer make eye contact, the prostitute will wave down the officer, Jones said. Once he or she is in the car, the officer waits for the prostitute to make a specific sexual offer and set a price. An officer can never initiate the deal, Jones said -- that would be entrapment. There are no wires or hidden cameras, just an officer's integrity to keep the situation on the up and up, Bayard said. After a prostitute makes a deal, an officer secretly signals the squad, and the members converge on the scene.

"The (prostitutes) usually have no idea what's going on," Jones said.

But sometimes the signal doesn't come quickly enough, and a vice cop, without his gun, is alone with someone considered to be desperate at best, violent at worst. In the 1970s, police also had to worry about the pimps who ran the show, police said. They were glitzy and ruthless, and they put the burden of the sex trade squarely on the backs of their prostitutes while they collected the cash.

Bayard and Jones agreed that things have changed. The pimps are largely gone, along with their big hats and Cadillacs, minks and pinkie rings.

"The girls in the street are more independent now," Bayard said. "For the most part, they're making their own money." With the prostitutes mostly out for themselves, they guard their freedom with a feisty will, sometimes augmented by a weapon. It makes life more risky for the vice squad.

"These guys are picking up men and picking up women, each time putting their lives on the line," Jones said.

On some nights, the squad uses female police officers from outside the squad to arrest men who solicit them for sex. During the operation last week, the squad arrested four men for solicitation of prostitution, including one juvenile.

A dangerous business

Jones told about a 5-foot-10-inch, 230-pound drag-queen prostitute whom officers picked up one night who was all man underneath his outfit -- and all business. After asking if the undercover was a cop, "he looked the officer square in the eye and warned him that if he was a cop there was going to be serious trouble," Jones said. A deal was brokered, and the undercover officer made the signal. During the arrest, officers found a loaded 9 mm pistol in the transvestite's purse, Jones said.

"There's no doubt in my mind that he would've used it," Jones said.

Many male prostitutes are more dangerous than their female counterparts. Some are common thugs who would rather "rob you than perform a sex act on you," Jones said. Officers in the unit said some of the men they've arrested for prostitution have rap sheets filled with armed robbery, narcotics and assault charges. They strut through the city's public housing complexes acting like thugs, Jones said, but when the johns come calling, they're in and out of cars performing sex acts for money.

When the sex trade and the law collide, it's usually disturbing, pathetic, heart-wrenching, or all three, officers on the vice beat said.

"Some of the guys make fun of me because I actually feel bad for some of the ones we arrest," a vice officer said, sporting a chin-straplike beard and an oversize polo shirt. "It's the bottom of the line for them; you have guys your father's age willing to (have oral sex) with another man for a piece of crack."

"I've made deals with women to have sex for chicken platters, fish platters, even Chinese food," another officer said, moments after a takedown on Baronne Street.

"It's kind of foul, but you get used to it," another undercover officer chimed in. "It's the dance we do. That's the game you have to play with them."

Except Jones, who has served 30 years with the NOPD, the other members of the squad are relatively young, in their late 20s and 30s, and look more like a motley bunch of fraternity guys playing cops and robbers than real officers. Jones calls them the "youngsters," the "kids," though all are married with children and armed with enough street smarts and experience to know that working vice is anything but child's play.

It takes a certain kind of cop to work the beat, but members of the vice crew said their participation in the unit is neither a beginning nor an end in their career, simply an exclamation point. The squad has basically stayed intact for the past four years. The only time officers leave the group is when they are promoted, land an easier job in the department or take a job with another law enforcement agency, Jones said.

"A lot of officers might not be able to handle doing what we do or want to do what we do," a vice officer said. "But I could do this forever."

Jones said each of the men in the unit was handpicked, has a proven record in plainclothes district work and a clean record with the feds and their district commanders.

"We're a small unit but we're tight," one of the guys said. "We're like brothers."

"Nothing is more important to me or any of these guys than going home to your family at night," Jones said. "That's why when you go home, you leave this stuff out here. You don't ever bring the job home with you. You don't ever bring home the war stories.

"It's enough for a wife to know that you're going to work every day and putting your life on the line" without her having to hear the stuff that goes on in the streets, he said.

'I just give massages'

It was 11:15 p.m., and a woman was standing almost naked in a plush hotel room in the French Quarter. Dark trails of mascara streaked her pale, freckled face. An hour earlier, an undercover cop posing as an out-of-town business executive in the city for a "safety engineers convention," had called an escort service and ordered a thin, busty blonde. Instead, he got Jennifer, a 29-year-old redhead with a chunky midsection and years of hard living written in wrinkles, stretch marks and cellulite on her breasts, thighs and behind.

"I just give massages," she said, shielding her heavy breasts with crossed forearms. Her green-satin thong panties were pulled awkwardly above her naval.

"And what were you going to do with this condom?" Bayard asked. His men masked their smirks by asking the woman's age, name and address. "What were you going to do? Put it on your hand and massage the lubricant into his back?" Bayard asked, glancing at the officer lying on the bed wearing a pair of droopy white boxer briefs.

Jennifer grabbed a bustier from the floor, then a pair of tight black pants, and went into the bathroom.

Jones said that for such services, a john calls an escort service and pays it a $75 finder's fee. The agency gives the call girl the client information, and she calls the john to arrange the "date." The girl or guy -- whichever the john ordered -- gets a "tip," usually $200 to $400. The agency stays just far enough outside of the deal to avoid legal repercussions if its "contractors" get busted for prostitution. Convenient ignorance, Jones called it.

Jennifer emerged from the bathroom moments later and sat down on the edge of the bed closest to the door.

"I didn't plan on doing this long," she said, smearing mascara into a black puddle on her right cheek as she wiped away the tears.

She said she got into the business 10 years ago at the urging of a man she was dating. She was a teenager then, childless and nurturing a drug habit that she said grew more demanding each day. Now, she has three children -- 12, 4, and 4 months old -- and lives with her mother, who thinks she's "just dancing." With the help of the escort service, Jennifer said, she lands about two tricks a night at $300 each.

"It never ceases to amaze me how they'll just get in a car or go to a hotel room with a stranger," said the officer who made the case against Jennifer. "One of these guys could just kill you and stuff you in the closet and disappear."

Back on the street

Later that night, another escort, who called herself Kim, lamented that "this isn't how my life was supposed to be." But after a 12-year marriage and a rough divorce a year ago, Kim said, she began working for the service to make ends meet. "I just wasn't making it on my own," she said. Kim fared better than Jennifer did that night; police were unable to build a case against her -- she was free to go.

"She just wouldn't talk," the undercover officer reported to Bayard. She was probably tipped off after Jennifer's arrest less than 45 minutes earlier, Bayard said.

The undercover officer said Kim received a call on her cell phone not long after she arrived. She responded to a voice on the other end with a suspicious "yes, OK, yes," the officer said. But Kim stayed in the hotel with the stranger nonetheless, as though pondering whether to take a chance on him being a cop, Bayard said.

Jones said many of the escort services with listed numbers are simply fronts for a common business operating under a string of different names, with calls forwarded from the different numbers to a conjoined set of phone lines. When a woman gets arrested, word spreads quickly, and the others close down until the coast is clear, Jones said.

Walking from the hotel and down the block, Kim, with her seemingly swollen lips and exaggerated pout, maintained that she was there only to perform a massage -- a nude, $400-an-hour massage. She said she performs the service a few times a week to support her 8-year-old daughter and the note on the late model Ford Escalade she had parked around the corner. The money is the best part, she said. The constant fear is the worst.

Later, back in the hotel room, the undercover officer got dressed, pulled a chair up to a desk and began dialing.

"Yeah, I'd like some company for the evening," he said into the phone. "Yes, I would. A brunette."

Bookstore bust

Deep within the dark, crowded adult bookstore on Chef Menteur Highway, men gather for indiscriminate, often unprotected sex. It's a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week haven, and though the sex is consensual and free, the acts are illegal because they're being done in a public place, officers said.

One afternoon last month, all seven undercover vice officers descended on the store, entering two at a time. They walked to a glass counter, paid a $5.50 cover charge and strolled to a corridor in the back. Pushing through a swinging saloon-style door, the officers entered a dark theater and an adjoining maze of booths.

At least a dozen men were sitting watching sex scenes on a large, wall-mounted television screen. Many were masturbating or fondling the man next to them. They were black, white, young and old, some with the look of executives, others disheveled.

After the officers' eyes adjusted to the darkness, they split up. A couple of them stood against the wall of the theater. Others moseyed through the maze of booths, peeking over slight wooden doors. The booths had benches, small televisions with Plexiglas covers playing X-rated videos and an orange-size "glory hole" drilled in the walls dividing booth from booth.

Police said when a man wants "action" he'll swipe his hand across the hole. If the person in the neighboring booth is interested, he'll offer himself to the stranger.

A constant stream of patrons lurched in and out of booths and chairs. As the vice unit members crept through, they remembered faces and illegal acts. Soon the officers pulled out their badges and marched those engaged in "lewd" behavior out of the store. A line of eight to 10 men stood calmly against the store's orange siding with their heads down, as a light rain danced from the building's roof.

The officers handed out summonses that would cost the men a few hundred dollars each.

One middle-age customer with a salt-and-pepper beard said he was "hoping to meet a couple to play with." His wife and two teenage children have no idea that he likes to have sex with men, he said. One clean-cut, executive-looking customer with rosy, pockmarked cheeks, signed his summons and sped off in a late model Cadillac CTS. Another, dressed in khaki shorts and chocolate-brown loafers, passed the lineup nonchalantly and strolled from the club to his pickup truck.

"I think it's the anonymity they like," an officer said, squeezing a bottle of hand sanitizer into his palm. "That they don't know who's in the booth next to them."

"You saw it in there," Jones said. "Like they were zombies, like 'Night of the Living Dead.' "

Bourbon Street

Hookers on Bourbon Street are a different breed of streetwalker, the squad members said. They tend to charge a few hundred dollars more than a Chef Highway "crack *****" and are more discriminating, they said. Some will avoid black johns and focus their attentions on the white men who look like they might be from out of town, Bayard said.

"Y'all looking for a good time?" a slender, smooth-skinned 20-year-old asked Bayard at about 2:15 a.m. "Yes, we are," he said. "My friend here is from New Jersey. We're safety engineers in town for the convention." After a few blocks of walking together, she asked whether Bayard had a hotel room. He said yes, told her where and hailed a cab from the corner.

"Two hundred dollars each," she said. "Y'all got that, right?" she asked with a grin before hopping inside.

Smiling, she suggested that Bayard stop at one of the adult video stores and pick up one of the movies in which she said she'd performed. She said she originally was from Wisconsin and that after a stint in California, she had flown into New Orleans a few days earlier to work awhile in the French Quarter.

After cooing to one of the men that she couldn't wait to have sex with him, she paused to ask if he was sure he wasn't a cop.

Moments later, the purr faded from the young woman's voice and the dollar signs vanished from her wide, brown eyes as Bayard told the cabby their destination. A local hotel? Not tonight. He ordered the driver to proceed directly to the 8th District police station.

Inside the French Quarter station, an officer led the young woman to a bench and sat her down alongside another prostitute arrested that morning. Before Bayard walked out of the station, she looked over and silently mouthed a question: "Why? Why did you do this to me?"

Those are the breaks, he said, strolling back out onto the streets.

What a sad story. It burns me up that we live in such a close minded society. Arresting prostitues and their Johns is nothing but a strain on tax payers and the system. Where do the prostitues end up? Back on the streets. Where do the Johns end up? Back on the streets. And if the police foolishly believe they are actually helping the prostitutes they are 100% wrong (although a bone-headed LEO would never think he's wrong). Will an arrest record help a prostitue better her life? Could she even find a "normal" job with an arrest record like that? Just like the foolish war on drugs, the war on prostitution is nothing but a war on people. Police should spend their time pursuing "real" criminals - those who bring physical harm to another or their property. I think about that poor girl at the end of the story:

"Before Bayard walked out of the station, she looked over and silently mouthed a question: "Why? Why did you do this to me?" Those are the breaks, he said, strolling back out onto the streets."

The real answer is because Bayard and his buddy (as well as all the other LEOs who pursue and entrap these girls) are assholes. But they know this and I'm sure they are proud of it.

Prostitution is the world's oldest business. It has been around since the dawn of time, and will be around until the end of time. If only the government would get wise and legalize, zone, and tax it, we could balance the budget in no time. This way, it would be organized, controlled, and the police could spend their time actually doing something important. I have no respect for police when they entrap people like this, who are causing no harm to anyone. This is why cops have no friends except other cops. No one trusts them.

Sorry to vent, guys. I know I'm preaching to the choir here. If everyone would vote to get these damn conservatives out of office and replace them with libertarians, we would definitley have a better society. Some people will agrue that prostitution is a "moral" crime - that may be so, but that's between a person and his or her God- not for the justice system to prosecute.

Sure wish I could have walked the French Quarter back in the days when prostitution was legal. It's sad we have to hide in the shadows and in fear of the police simply because we want the company of a lady for a few hours.

Tammy is 29 yr old black woman with DDD boobs. She was walking up and down B street with her girlfriend. After she walked past the third time I winked at her and they came over to me. She was well dresssed and looked like she was just an office worker out for a night on the town. I found out she was from Atlanta and comes to NOLA for a week to ten days every month or so. She sometimes dances at an all nude club on chef Hwy (I forget the name), she also has worked for telephone escort services but says they take to big a cut. She says she makes about S3,000 to $5,000 a visit. She says most guys pay her escort rates. On a slow night she will take less. I got a BJ in my hotel room for two jacksons. She didn't discuss $s till she was in my room.

Service was good. She stripped off and her huge melons spilled out. I sucked them good and then she sucked me dry. She gave me her Cell but I can't find it. She will be around for a few more days.

ATL monger in NOLA Thursday night. Took the advise of the board and planted myself on Bourbon from about 9 PM to 11:30. I did see my share of boobies from bead seekers, but nothing that even came close to a working girl.

I attempted eye contact with any female alone but got no looks back. As a hot blooded male I checked out every single or group of women that I passed but I came up dry. Bourbon street was a blast but no "happy ending" for the Craps shooter. Fortunatly, I left Harrah's with more then I came in with but missed out on some Big Easy p-tang.

Later.

I will be visiting New Orleans in about 2 weeks and would welcome any suggestions on ebony GFE's in the area. I usually post on the Atlanta board and would be glad to help out with any info that I can regarding Atlanta. I have read over the forum, but New Orleans seems to be a bit more difficult to hook up than one might think if what I have read is correct. I will be staying in the convention area of town and will be seeking outcall to my room. Any help is much appreciated.

I would think the first thing the girls would do after a disaster is prostitute. If the people need easy money, why not? Anyone have some info on this possibility? In New Orleans and any surrounding cities in LA and MS?

I know that this board is mainly for sw picking.

But on a more serious note, wanted to extend out my condolences to all of those that have lost their home and even family members.

I know that if you can read this that you are in better shape than most but just wanted to extend my heart out to those that lost significant others or that have been displaced from their home.

My thoughts are with you guys. Rather vivid images coming from the Press and one can only be encouraged to help.

Stopped in to see what is said on the Hurricane/Flood victims, and saw this post. I certainly am not condeming the posters, because he basically is right. Human Nature will take over, and women will do whatever is needed to provide for them and their families.

After a Disaster of this Nature that the Women of LA. would not have to turn a trick to make ends meet, or to find a safe place to live, or to get the daily needs of everyday living met. I hope all the aid and relief comes to them, to help save the day. But realisticly, turning a few tricks will be a source of income for thoses already doing it, and ones who never have or at least thought about it, but never did, but have too now.

It just sounds so bad saying it, and knowing a disaster like rhis in all the States and areas has caused tihis. I need never to preach, to anyone.

But, if these ladies do offer their services in this time of need, please be as generous as you can, for the meanwhile. Giving that extra, will help in some Way, Shape, or Form.

It is teking advantage of a very bad situaiton, but we do this in Third World countries, using there Poor Women to fulfill our Sexual Needs. It is not Payback, but just reflecting on the real needs of others, and what people will do to have them met.

I never overpay, but I would in this case, as I am now giving to Help people in the Hurricane areas, and people in New Orleans especially.

It just Sound so BAD, but there are far worse thing we do in the search for Sexual Fulfillment. This time, being truly generous is and can be a very good thing.

Just a word.

Do you think that NOLA's rapid descent in·to Social Chaos and Anarchy — with riots ; looting ; wide·spread rapes and muggings of tourists ; and shooting at rescuers — would have occurred if a disaster of similar magnitude had struck , say , Boise , Idaho , or Burlington , Vermont ??

We are expecting this very thing in San Antonio were around 25,000 people are being routed. With this kind of influx their is no way Law Enforcment will be able to stop this activity.

We will wait and see. If they ever decide to open the Alamo dome for the refugees we fully expect this to be even high as the girls will only need to walk across the street to the already well established SW streets are located.

Yes. We see this kind of thing when Basketball teams win Championships. It appears no matter where you go any time Law Enforcement gets tied up this kind of activity spreads like Cancer.

People will do all kinds of things when they realize they can get away with it.

Yes I do think that their would be riots in Idaho, vermont etc. I read an article in Friday's Wall Street Journal and it mentioned that their was rioting after the Chicago fire and the San fran earthquake and fire. Any where you have a large population and a loss of order then you will get looting. Remember when Baghdad, fell they rioted even though they still had food. You loose a sense of societal order and then you get chaos.

The bigger question is why the feds were not ready for it.

They even riot and loot when U of Michigan wins or the Red sox get the pennant. I would consider that much worse than rioting when you are in 6 feet of water without food and drinking water for 2 or 3 days.

On to the hoes. I think houston and dallas will become low budget hoe and stripper central. The pickings should become much easier. I expect many reports of after about 90 days of sw with nawlins accents.

Highly Doubtful that it would have happened. Look, the Tsunami in the Pacific which was that much worse didnt' have such chaos. But, no matter what, I still feel badly for all those people.

I think so people was trapped with no resourses. It's quite possible that all these things happenened in the sri lanka but it wasn't reported. In any case the peace that was brought on by the disaster there has recently been shattered. Where ever there's no law their will be chaos. look at how fast your mind turned to oppertunities for prostition.

I don't think that there will be an influx of action first of all there will be police and media will be all over the shelters, and even the displaced SW's won't be thinking of that at this time. Trust me that's gotta be the the last thing on their mind.

Its when the people leave the shelters in search of employment that we expect all this to happen. The way it works in San Antonio is when the crime rate is low all Law enforcement starts concentrating on Street Walker and traffic. When they get tied up with major events you start to see the walkers walk around with immunity.

I know street walking isn't on their mind, now but they are going to turn to crime to start makeing money. Be it narcotrics trade or Prostitution.

I do expect there to be a lot of casual sex as it is when diasters strikes. But if there is a influx of cut street action. I'll be on the first place down there, doing my part in the relief. LOL

Wadda YOU think ??Of course not lets smile and put and put a happy face on her. The fact that she is white will also help for more contributions for disaster relief.Unfortunately this natural disaster has become a racial issue with thousands of minorities wiped out and the federal government has dragged its feet. The mayor of New Orleans has every right to be upset with the handling of this disaster in his city.

The most Horrible of the stories coming out of NOLA were the Rapes of young girls at the Convention Center

When the Rhode Island National Guard hit the ground there yesterday , they learned that these abominable Crimes did NOT go Un·Punished =

" According to the police, who were not authorized to speak on the record, men angered by the rapes of their daughters killed and decapitated a man they held responsible. "

Let's just hope they got the right guy !!

I was in NOLA for meetings 3 weeks ago and found a treasure trove of action centered on Bourbon street. I talked to women from all around the country who had come (typically for a week or two) to make money by picking up guys in the French Quarter.

I had a great time with a Californian of Hawian descent, DD melons that were so firm. She comes to NOLa every few months for about 10 days. Talked to a number of others from all over.

These women all either drove in their own cars or came by air and taxi so probably evacacuated. So some of this talent is coming back to their home states. Keep an eye out.

It is so ironic that whenever LAPD has a high number of murders and very heavy gang activities, they go and bust the prostitutes!

No I the police are already having their hands full with the shelters. I'm not expecting any activity to take place in the shelters.

I would think the first thing the girls would do after a disaster is prostitute. If the people need easy money, why not? Anyone have some info on this possibility? In New Orleans and any surrounding cities in LA and MS?
You are heartless ignorant bastards!!! The tragic loss of human life, the traumatic events unfolding in these areas are beyond comprehension why don't you take the $$$$ you are looking to spend on a bj and donate it to the Red Cross? Talk about the little head thinking for the big head! I hope Jackson will take measures to see that you don't spew your non-sense here any longer! For someone like myself nowhere near Katrina, I find Hookworm's comment and Scoundrel's reaction comical. But I know that if I were personally there and was a victim of Katrina, I'd probably react like Scoundrel toward Hookworm. But I know this: if I were there suffering loss but saw a hoe, I'd hit up on her. So my words are simply: if the hoes are out, let em be out. if the John's are looking, let em look. If the rest are still recovering, let them recover.

Peace.

I'm sure the economy will be terrible in New Orleans for a long time since the disaster. The city should start with getting the French Quarter up and running ASAP, since that's a hot tourist spot to bring in revenue. And for an even better idea, the city should work on decriminalizing prostitution and marijuana...making it into a little Amsterdam. That would bring in tax dollars a lot faster for rebuilding other parts of the city. Afterall, it's ridiculous that prostitution and marjiuana are illegal in the first place (considering the billions of tax dollars wasted on prosecuting both). Regulate, zone, and tax it. Those who are opposed to it, don't have to go to that section of town. Those who enjoy either one, can do so without bothering anyone else. Plus, it would keep this activity more controlled in one area of the city, and not spread out all over. People should be able to do what they want to do as long as they are keeping to themselves and not causing any trouble. It would be nice to have a Red Light District once again in New Orleans.

In the 90s when Andrew devastated a large portion of south Florida, the sex industry really profited. There were a large number of construction worker types who were being put up in temporary housing in the Homestead area. They worked all week and were being paid in cash. The weekends were lonely and originally spent only on heavy drinking.

An enterprising guy from the Tampa area started busing in "dancers" for weekend parties. This soon became so profitable that most of the dancers from the Tampa area didn't want to stay home but instead chose to be on the bus trip.

I just read in the morning paper that any hotel that is able to open will be at or near 100% ocupancy for the next several months. This crowd will be primarily reconstruction workers. I can envision a large influx of working girls to help these guys keep from getting too bored.

Apparently other business owners learned a lesson from Andrew. I forgot about all the military mentioned in that article. What a gold mine for our girls!

Well, it looks like they are open for business. The building looks ok - no worse than it was before. I'm heading over there tonight, hopefully to get a little extra. I'll report back with my findings.

Any SW action in Metairie, or any reasonable in-calls open?

Open a red light district like Amsterdam with strict medical control and NO in no time will be better than before. Allow casinos also. If you have gambling, and sex, sky is the limit.

Saw a blonde WSW on Airline near Williams last Wednesday around noon when I was returnign to the city to start cleaning up my house. She was going in the other direction and I had someone in the car, but a definite stroller.

Got out on Chef Mentur today and the AMPs appear all trashed and closed. Tokyo modeling's fence was ripped away and its sign shredded. Others the same. Didn't go out as far as the Lily Pad (?) past the loop to Chalmette.

Chef highway seems to be on a ridge and the grass in the median was green, meaning it was not flooded for days and days. Eastern NO is trashed. Hard to see anything moving into that area except Israeli bulldozers.

Unbelievably bleak.

Any SW action in Metairie, or any reasonable in-calls open? The Ships Wheel is dead. One dancer on shift, and that's all.

I talked with one of the owners, and they are trying to get enough dancers to handle the crowd. I guess it's a matter of wait-and-see.

.

Hey guys what is going on? New Orleans had a BIG music fest scheduled but then it cancelled due to Katrina and moved to Memphis, TN .

Today, they announced they moved part of the fest back to New Orleans. My question is for those that reside there, is the city near downtown back to a functional state to where visitors can come in? The fest will be at Riverview Park behind Audubon Zoo, how is the area in terms of condition ?

I am really apprehensive in going and I don't want to throw my money away by buying fest tickets and making un-neccesary reservations.

By the way, I saw that beating on MSN the other day and found the cops behavior unreasonable. The guy was 60 and drunk and your telling me that the cops could not control him? I find that hard to believe. If you want info on fest you can go to voodoomusicfest dot com.

Wow. This board has gotten ICE cold.

Let me repeat a post I made on another site (****) about some action ramping back up in Central City off St. Charles. In short, I picked up a BSW around 7PM off St. Charles for a $20 BBBJ. Pleasant young woman visiting relatives from Chicago. Around 5'8", medium weight, and curvy. Nice head and nice company. CIMNQNS. Didn't get any contact info.

I'll report back if things seem to be picking up consistently around there.

Anyone have any luck with Craig's List lately? I've been in discussions with one or two girls on CL, but so far nothing has panned out. Prices really seemed to have shot up post-Katrina.

Chef highway exists only in our memories.

I saw some action on airline, but all the motels seemed filled with mexican workers and nothing else. The quarter may be your only hope, and it sucks.

I travel alot for business throughout the Gulf Coast and Southeast. What I am seeing in the area is that along the coast, all of the hotels are packed with migrant workers. In these towns, I suspect the SWs are just camping out with the hombres and making all the money and getting all the good drugs they need.

In towns further inland, there are more evacuees. I suspect the SWs are steering clear of these locales because of all of the heightened LEO protection for the evacuees.

My two cents.

Peace

PeaceInteresting theory. But my suspicion is that where SWs are is simply where they end up. Unlike professional escorts, who make conscious decisions to visit one town or another for varying lengths of time, I think SWs just get blown around by the wind and land somewhere. Certainly they gravitate towards larger metropolises with a reliable drug base, but I think the exact location is due more to happenstance than deliberation. In New Orleans I think most just boarded the buses from the dome and convention center, and ended up in Houston, etc., like most other lower-SES folks.

Hopefully, they'll get swept back as the city repopulates.
