Dr Wa you got conned if they then tried to get you to go to some massage parlor or other strip club like madannas... They get a cut from the place they take you to if they sucker you to go there instead of adelitas or chicago. Ive never seen the zona closed and there never is serious stuff going on cause the money is too great. Ive called them on it many many times (just had em take me there anyways though politely cause its still their turf) and it always ends up they were lying trying to get me to go somewhere where they prob get a barker cut.

Went to a friends who lives near ECB for dinner. The action was fairly dead as usual. Only saw 2 or 3 girls working nothing worth picking up. The rain really seems to have slowed down the action. Hopefully the rain will stop and the girls will come back out again.

Had the day off today – couldn’t play golf due to the rain, so I decided to sample the product at Asia in Escondido.

Haven't seen anything in NCounty. Do know that a good number of agencies have adopted the "get caught and we'll impound your ride" tactic. Makes TJ a lot more appealing!

i see many of my old buddies no longer post in sd forum.
there's a reason for it.
i used to be an avid advocate for sd mongering, everything from establishments, streets, to escorts.
after 20yrs, 1 divorce, and 1 car later, i'm thinking loudly, it's not worth it.
i go to tj. if i can't find the time, i do myself a favor at home with a good porn.
i'm all for the sd scene. i wish it'll pick up again. but for now, i just think it's very dangerous for all of us who have much to loose. if it was 20yrs ago when i was a teenager with a free car i got from my uncle, it would be different.

Well if you take the proper precautions the risk is quite low. If you go far from ECB then it's almost impossible for the cops to follow you.
There has been no change in the San Diego or state laws. Just remember the cops can only impound your car if you or the girl admit to solicitation. The cops will only bust you for lewd conduct if they catch you. They will write you a citation, but you they won't impound your car.
The big disadvantage of sw's in SD is that you have to cruise a lot more to find some good action. But when you find a girl like Lisa or Angela it's all worth it. Heck, just a few weeks ago I got a bj and facial for 30$. Facials are almost impossible to find in TJ from sw's. The other big factor is that the service and quality of sw's is better if you cruise enough.

OCEANSIDE – The rusty green pickup with lawn tools slowed to a crawl outside a furniture store on North Coast Highway. The driver honked his horn and eyed the long-legged blonde in blue jeans sauntering back and forth at a street corner.
He stopped and asked what he could get for $20. Depends on what you're looking for, she replied. He drove away, and returned about a half-hour later.
He agreed to pay $20 for sex.
But the "prostitute" was an undercover Oceanside police officer. The driver was arrested. He was one of several people caught by the Oceanside Police Department's vice unit during a recent afternoon sting operation.
Cpl. Kay Held said the stings usually net four to 10 arrests, a number she said underscores a persistent challenge for a city that has long tried to shed its image as a haven for prostitutes catering to Marines at Camp Pendleton.
The city has spent millions of dollars over the years to redevelop its downtown. Residential and commercial property values have risen dramatically. Homes in some neighborhoods can fetch more than $1 million. Yet hookers still ply their trade, attracting men from around North County.
Police have had enough. Some want the department to join a growing number of agencies, including the El Cajon and National City police departments, that impound vehicles from those caught trying to buy sex.
"We think that would be the largest deterrent," Held said. "It's frustrating that we do it (stings) over and over again and we still get so many."
Mayor Jim Wood, a former Oceanside police officer, said he's willing to listen to the department's suggestions on curbing prostitution, but questions whether seizing vehicles is the answer.
"It's a crime that needs to be addressed, but I'm not sure this is the approach," Wood said. "It's up to the courts to take (more punitive) action."
Business owners complain that prostitutes and solicitors scare away customers. Mothers and daughters leaving downtown establishments are asked, "How much?" by men driving by, authorities say.
Hookers from as far as Seattle and Las Vegas work in Oceanside – especially along Coast Highway – because solicitors are never in short supply, Held said.
For now, police are focusing on traditional sting operations to catch those looking to pay for sex.
During the recent sting, the man in the rusty pickup was handcuffed and his truck was searched. He was the second of three people arrested in less than 90 minutes.
Held attempted to read him his Miranda rights. "Do you understand?" she asked. The man, who spoke Spanish, shook his head "no."
She cited him and advised: "Stay out of Oceanside."
The decoy, a patrol officer, dressed in jeans and a gray jacket, then went back to work around the corner, smiling at drivers passing by. Several stopped, but not all of them were willing to shell out the $80 starting price she quoted them.
Wired, the decoy's every word is recorded and heard by officers in nearby vehicles who keep watch to ensure her safety.
One guy in a white pickup stopped and flashed some pornographic pictures. The decoy stated, "Note to self: This is the last time I'm doing this," Held said.
When she cut a deal, she would ask the customer to pull into an alley. There, about eight plainclothes officers converged, handcuffing the solicitor and citing him for "solicitation for the purpose of prostitution," a misdemeanor.
The offender is given a citation to appear in court. The maximum punishment for a conviction is six months in jail or a $1,000 fine, or both. The solicitors often just pay a fine.
Authorities say it's just a slap on the wrist.
The cities of El Cajon and National City are more aggressive. Both passed ordinances last year that allow police to impound the vehicles of those caught soliciting prostitutes during sting operations.
In El Cajon, police conducted at least two stings last year and seized between 10 and 15 vehicles each time.
"The Police Department believes it is effective," El Cajon City Attorney Morgan Foley said.
Foley pointed out that during one of the city's stings, a would-be customer backed off at the last moment, telling the police decoy that he didn't want to go through with the transaction because he didn't want his vehicle seized.
Oceanside Police Chief Mike Poehlman said his department and the City Attorney's Office have examined the El Cajon program and are encouraged by the results.
Still, Oceanside is in wait-and-see mode. Although a lawsuit challenging the legality of the El Cajon ordinance was dropped not long after being filed, a case challenging a similar ordinance outside the county is before an appellate court, Poehlman said.
"We're ready to go, but I told the staff that this case is in front of an appeals court and we will wait until that decision comes in," the chief said.
While prostitution is not a major problem in Oceanside, Poehlman said, it's a visible criminal activity that ultimately makes residents feel unsafe.
"This is not an activity that is allowed and we go after it aggressively," Poehlman said.
The department's special enforcement unit made 52 prostitution arrests and 19 arrests for loitering for the purpose of prostitution last year.
Among the arrests was a man in a maroon minivan who asked the decoy, "You a cop?" No, she said.
He backed out of the furniture store parking lot and headed to the alley.
Surrounded by cops, the first words out of his mouth was, "I can't afford this!" before he started weeping.
"But he had $100 cash to spend on something he shouldn't be doing," a detective said.

However, she was the only one I saw out there after about 2hours of cruising. There were LOTS of LE and they were pulling people over all over the place. No girls to harass so they were going after the driving public...the pricks!
Bottom line though, SD is no longer the place it was. I would have to agree with other posters, TJ is probably the best option when in SD.

Regarding the previous message. The new amp in Solana Beach wants $100 for an hour massage. I declined. Asia pain center is Chinese. $70 for hour massage. It was marginal and I maybe got 45 minute massage. I opted out of the rug and tug part. The new place in Vista and Carlsbad are owned by the same people as JK in Escondido. Only $65 for hour including table shower, but the extras are expensive. Almost always get a good massage but be prepared for them to charge lots for extras. Also, it's very hit and miss. Some of the masseuses are very good, some are awful.

Regarding the various messages about the new AMP's, I have found it just a waste of money at the Chinese places. The report on Touch of Asia is indicative of all the Chinese places. The Pain Clinic on Rancho Santa Fe is near my work. Been there twice. The first time was FS which was OK, one leg still in her jeans. If your staying in any of the hotels off Hotel Pkwy. south of I-8 keep your eyes open. there may be more info in tomorrow's SD union and other news websites. I am not sure I believe the numbers either given my recent experience on ECB. Also the last time I cruise Main street (a couple weeks ago), there was nothing, so unless these girls are out a 3AM, I am not sure I believe the SDPD. They may be trying to show the city that they are actually working the "problem" for political reasons (i.e. to keep from having their budget cut and losing officers). But short of that, I would like to see the arrest records of these girls before I believe them. But SD doesn't publically post these. I guess we will have to see what happens.

The sweep covered El Cajon Boulevard from Park Boulevard to the La Mesa city limits, and Main Street between Interstate 15 and National City, McKinney said.
Both male and female undercover officers were involved in the sting, said McKinney.
Eighty-five women and 23 men were arrested, said McKinney, who added some of the men arrested were customers of the alleged prostitutes.
The girls arrested are 15, 16 and 17 years old, McKinney said.
Those arrested face charges that include pimping, soliciting sex acts from undercover police officers and violating court-ordered geographic probation, SDPD spokesperson Dave Cohen said.
Geographic probation prohibits entering certain areas to engage in prostitution or solicitation of prostitution, said Capt. Robert Kanaski.
In addition to the arrests, 19 vehicles were impounded, McKinney said.
San Diego City Councilmember Toni Atkins, who represents the mid-city area, thanked police for making the crackdown on prostitution a priority.
"We will do whatever it takes to stop it," Atkins said. "People are watching." Atkins also said her office and the police are committed to promoting positive activities in mid-city.
Atkins said the crackdown has the support of residents and the business community.
From my take, this is more political maneuvering, get the focus off the city council, off the financial problems to show what good they are doing. Bottom line, I don't believe the numbers.

Decided to take one for the time (as our old friend "Five" used to say) and visited Kiaa yesterday. Same layout but under completely new managemet.

Tuesday evening around 800p I got off the freeway in El Cajon to see if anything was going on. The operation was run by Escondido police, with help from Carlsbad and Oceanside police, the Escondido city attorney, the district attorney's office and federal immigration agents, Escondido police Lt. David Mankin said.
Authorities had received complaints of lewd activity and solicitation, Mankin said.
The details of the undercover operation were not immediately released.
Sometime Friday, authorities raided JK Healthcare in the 1000 block of East Grand Avenue; Oriental Therapy in the 1600 block of East Valley Parkway; Sundance Spa in the 1300 block of West Valley Parkway; Sunset Acupressure in the 1900 block of Sunset Drive and Asia Acupressure at 829 S. Escondido Blvd.
Employees at Asia Acupressure told arriving officers that the business would be closed for at least two hours because of water supply problems. No arrests were made at the Asia business, according to police.
Police at JK Healthcare arrested Ailing Sun, 48, of San Gabriel, for alleged solicitation of prostitution and municipal code violations.
At Oriental Therapy, police arrested Yeon Rinn, 47, of Los Angeles, on suspicion of solicitation and code violations.
Ok Cha Chong, 51, of Tustin, was taken into custody at Sundance Spa for allegedly soliciting prostitution and violating city codes. Isabeele Lee, 65, of Oceanside, also was arrested at Sundance for allegedly allowing the violations to occur, Mankin said.
Police at Sunset Acupressure arrested Yuncha Ann Shin, 49, of Garden Grove, on suspicion of solicitation and code violations, Mankin said.
Also arrested at Sunset were Su Yeon Lee, 47, of Escondido on suspicion of delaying a police officer and San Diego resident Kilcha Yim Lockard, 60, for allegedly allowing the violations to occur, Mankin said.
All of those arrested were cited and released, police said.
"The charges are all misdemeanors," Escondido Sgt. David Cramer said in explaining why those arrested were not booked into the county jail.
The people arrested at the AMPs sure seem old. What about the rest of the workers?
I made it a point to cruise ECB on my way to Sunday lunch. College to Texas was dead. A little more than an hour later on my way back, I spotted some likely candiates, but they were fat assed BSWs. There was a WSW but she was too old and leathery for me. I spotted them mostly between 805 and 15. It is quite a nice day but I did not have the time to stop and take pictures. Besides the ones I did see were not worth the effort.

I am surprised Escondido went on as long as it did. Certainly not kept on the down low like ones in SD have been. Kinda reminds me of Royal Palace in Kearny Mesa and how it was over the top and high on the radar for a while, eventually they get too bold and they get slammed to the ground by PD. They are only doing their job.
Too bad it isn't like bigger cities on the east coast where the AMPs stay open because they pay homage to the local beat and vice guys. I went to one in Philly where the front window had 10-15 years worth of "PD Orphans/Widows Contributor" and "Police Officers Association" decals. It is kinda funny when you think about it.
Odd thing about the article, the numbers of people nabbed do not match our general experiences of who works in these places, etc. Maybe it was all for show. Perhaps they brought in some "red herrings" to take one for the team so the PD could get some good press.

Maybe it moved there but back in the late 90s it was in Kearny Mesa on Clairemont Mesa Blvd by the 163, next door to Risque Lingere.

There actually were two "Royal" places, owned by the same person (working name Jackie). The one in Kearney Mesa was called Royal Spa. My all-time favorite (the jacuzzi tub, Pearl, etc!!), too bad it got busted, but I agree with the comment -- it just got too bold. The one across from Jolar was called Royal Palace, busted about a year ago for immigration and tax charges. If Escondido is down for good, not too much left in San Diego County. Only a few places where service is still good, but the prices were skyrocketing even before the Escondido busts.
TD - re: r.h. you were thinking exactly as I was. But if anyone can't figure that out for themselves, do we really need to write that here? All we need is for some newspaper reporter or something to pick up on that idea and run with it - then we really would be up sh*ts creek (we're only 1/2 way there now :)

I had the opportunity to visit your fine town earlier this week and I made sure to use this board to do all of my due diligence before arriving. As soon as I had time in the evening, I fired up the rental car GPS and set the directions to ECB.
I saw a "few" possible SW's. I got "the look". kinda. These were the most shy, timid "looks" I've gotten from SW's yet - very unlike the Columbus SW's I am used to that lock onto you and stare you down the whole time you are in sight.

Both were wearing white tanks, both blonde. I got the look from the one with longer hair. I made a far-too-obvious U-turn. parked on the opposite side of the street. neither of them approached. Several more passes by them and they weren't budging from their spot - kinda fishy to me.

I saw a sweet looking girl: early 20's, very tall, very thin, long blond curly hair, wearing jeans and a black tank. I got the look. did a few passes to confirm what I thought. During "the hunt" there was a pickup truck and lincoln town car in the hunt with me. I parked across the street, near the Papa John's and watched the action. she moseyed over to me and was heading to my car(I could now see tat she was very pretty, with makeup. a little trashy looking like I like 'em) she says "are you waiting for me? " I say "yes, do you need a ride". when the pickup pulls up and says something to her (yes, he interrupts her talking to me! ). I heard her say something to him about a "date" (can you believe some ppl are this blatant? no wonder why they get arrested so easily! ). Anyway, he pulls off and she approaches my car closer and says again "are you waiting on me? " then she looks up, squeals "ohhhhhh" and walks away. I thought she saw someone else she knew - I saw the lincoln town car with extremely dark tinted windows sitting at the intersection at the end of the parking lot so I wrote this one off. as I am pulling out, I pass by her standing alone at the edge of the parking lot. she yells out to me "I think that guy was a cop, be careful out there". I pulled west onto ECB and did a U-turn back around. I saw her sitting by the side of the road again, got the look, but kept on driving.
So, where is the etiquette, San Diego mongers? ! Nothing like being cockblocked twice by two mongers while working with a girl! : ) I saw very few cops. saw a few other girls. but keep in mind that I spent about 3 hours on that evening cruising.

That's really quite suprising to hear that there was girls on East ECB. It's quite possible that it could have been a sting. Occasinally you will stings that are way far away from where the girls normally work.
Since the girls were not walking around there is a good possiblity they were cops.
As a relief from doing my taxes I cruised ECB basically from La Mesa to Texas Street. I noticed some likely ones but I did not get the look. In fact, I was downright ignored. That's strange, I thought. That was down in the typical Chasers area. Odd, indeed. But, I employed what I read on the Oceanside thread about Mongering techniques and noticed they did not go too far and in fact just did an odd up and down the block stroll. Better safe than sorry so I left them alone. I did not see the obvious telltale signs of LE, though.
So as stated by others, if they llook too good they probably are LE. Or if they do not do the typical things they probably are LE. Even after 30 years of this hobby, I still have to remind myself of the basic rules. I think we all should review what was written over in the Ocenaside thread.
By the way, I also cruised up University where you used to be able to get service too and did not see a thing. Too bad, that was an alternative like Main and Division is or was.

Took a cruise around 6pm too about 8pm. The action was really dead last night. Only saw 2 or 3 bsw's. Saw 2 bsw's about 3 blocks east of Chasers. I decided to see if there I could find those blondes on East ECB. East ECB was dead as ususual. I am convinced that the girls near the Days Inn were cops.

Along the way up the boulevard there were the usual fat assed BSWs here and there. But, just a few. At 54th, I noticed some interesting ones but I had a long way to loop back and they had vanished. Dang it! Nonthing until College at SDSU. Friday night and there were several groups of pretty would be providers. What a tease! Oh well.
Read in the North County Times that the police raided four Asian places in Escondido. According to the article the found proof of prostitution with in 15 mins. at one place. The police were working off of a complaint. Must have been someone who did't get what he wanted.
Had to go the Fedex office on Federal blvd around 1pm. So I decided to take a brief cruise on ECB on the way back. The action was completely dead no action at alll............

Exactly, we come for useful information and so do they. Only difference is the intended use of such information. One way to fix it is close up a forum like this to non-public access only. Senior members, paid members, etc. That wouldn't work though because many non-senior members would get upset and the cops have budgets to pay for access to sites like this anyways.
It is forever a game of cat and mouse. Sad part is that there are much larger and more dangerous mice that they could be paying attention to (drug/gang rings, auto theft rings, human trafficking across the border, etc) I think they prefer us becuase it makes good press and we aren't dangerous, we don't carry guns. Watch a place, make a bust, drag some poor sods out with a jackets over their heads, put the story out in the media and make all the social conservatives (usually also political donators) feel happy (and more generous).
If they put the same effort and attention into the city pension fiasco going on downtown they'd be dragging out the mayor and city council members with jackets over their heads instead. Then again, that is *their* pensions at stake so they are not about to do anything to crush that sweetheart deal. They'll work harder to bust us so they appear to deserve those super-lotto pensions.

Where did they go? They got old, just like you and I did. But there is a difference between an old John and an old hooker. Hookers don't see young or old Johns, they just see money. Most Johns on the other hand wouldn't even look twice at an old hooker, no matter how much she tries to convince them that when she removes her teeth she gives the best BBBJ out there. I did once or twice pick up and older hooker. The first time it was a Grandma fantasy for me. Second time the old hag was a turnoff because like you write, she just saw money. It didn't work for me, so I gave her some money and that was it.
I am sure, because it has happened, that if I cruise the older tracks, that I can get lucky every now and then. Much safer than trying the more high profiel ones. Come to think about it, that is exactly what I will do while heading to somewhere else I need ot go.

The sw's got old or arrested or just left the trade. There used to be a lot of girls who worked full time and go from motel to motel in San Diego. But a lot of these girls got busted for drugs and or had multiple warrants. There was also some girls that were welfare moms and worked part time. The cops have driven out a lot of the out of town girls.
I still believe that the action will pick up again after things settle down. The big thing was that prostutitution ring case and the rain has chased a lot of the girls away.

Estimated hundreds of cars are being stolen everyday, taken to Mexico, then used to smuggle drugs and/or illegal aliens back into the US, according to US law enforcement agents and insurance officials along the border. Apparently there is no timely way for US Border Patrol to prevent stolen cars to return to the US loaded with illegals.
If you have to park near the border, it's better to park in a paid parking lot than on the streets. The thieves are less likely to pay the parking fee just to get the car out.
Wherever you park, take 2 minutes to open the hood and take out a few fuses, distributor wires or some electrical components to disable the car. That way the thieves may break the door lock, but will give up rather than risking to fix the car.
There was a report a few years back about stolen cars at the border. I park on the street all the time and walk to TJ when I go down there. I have not had any problems. I spoke to cop and he tellls me the crime problem is overblown.
Took a quick cruise this afternoon and saw only 1 bsw. I did see this one blonde who hoped was working by Hollywood video. I passed by her and she ignored me. I was not sure she was not sure if she was waiting for the bus or not, so I decided to get out and see if the bus picked her. Unfortunately she got on a bus a left.

I went back to west ECB and saw the girl being stopped by a cop.
I am really getting tired of how dead the action is........... If the action does not pick up soon I am going for a cruise up in LA..... A lot of the rerports seem to indicate that the downtown action has been picking up....

Saw Sanae and Melissa this evening. There was a couple of other bsw's as well.
Saw about 3 or 4 girls out none of the girls were above a 7. Saw this melatin whose name was Peaches. She was ok looking, but not great. I wanted $50, but I offered her $30. A couple of posts ago Call Me Fun posted a link to news story. If you re-read it, CMF, it says "National City Blvd" which is the name of the main street in National City. Starts at the north end, runs down through the Mile Of Cars and becomes Broadway in Chula Juana.
Broadway in CV has occasional, but sporadic activity, usually older Hispanic women who look more like civilians than anything else. I have made contact with several there over the years, but only dated one because the rest (when they got to the car) were pretty bad off.
Saw two possibles in El Cajon City, one a late 40's brunette near El Cajon Ford, and a hefty blonde near the SBC switch building (it's the big brick one) who was just a bit too heavy for my liking.

I have been cruising ECB during lunch time and the street seems deserted. For the last month, it seems like every SW has left the area! Is anyone getting any action during weekday lunch times?

Noon times have been fairly dead for some time now. There has been some girls working late afternoon recently. Treasure told me she works around noon or 3pm. So if you are in the area it's probably worth a cruise, but I would not make a special trip.

I spent time in and around SD last week. I stayed in Chula Vista for trips across the border to TJ.
since I was without a car, I walked around CV on foot, and did notice some possible action around the trailer parks on Broadway between E & H St's'. There was a very probable crack wh@re up near H during the day several times. There was a Hispanic being dropped off by a white guy about 10am. What has this got to do with mongering? Well, I found out that the San Diego City Library branches (not necessarily the county ones, just the CITY ones) have Wi-Fi access. You can usually log on from nearby outside the building as well.
This means if you can find an older laptop, you can cozy up near a San Diego City Library and look over the latest reports! It might be useful! From what I can tell its unrestricted access, I was able to access this board and several adult sites no problem!
Also, the prepaid phones sold by 7-11 under their "Speak Out" brand alrady are active and have a telephone number. Try surprising your favorite ho with one. One provider I ran into offered me an overnight for a phone I could have gotten for $29 at 7-11.

Keep your heads on a swivel guys- and at this point I would say at least take a lap around the block with your eyes open- ECC will take your car, as I am sure you all know. JoeFor me, the issue is that the border crossing is quite unpredictable, and if I head down to TJ, I am generally there for at least 4 hours and 2-3 pops. Sometimes I simply don't have the time, and for a quickie, ECB or Craigslist are the only choices available.

It's not really to unusual to see the cops gathering at Hoover high. The cops will meet there occasinally right after a shift change, espcially on weekends.........
No real details on the Blonde. Long hair, dirty blond. Coat. She as a head taller then the little black spinner. It was dark and I realized I was not going for it, so I just did not note it that well.
It is and it is not odd to see them there. In the day, it was quite common. Lotsa drugs there and the drugs are still there, but not the girls. From time to time you see crack ****** there. Black and white ones. Within the past decade I have had several good times around there. Just like in days gone by, I end up dropping them off where they buy drugs. So what's new? Nothing, other than there are very few there anymore. It is on my way, so I look there too. I guess it is rare now to find anything good.

Wow! That's awesome. I seriously doubt that's the norm, even with new management. Last time I was there (2-3 years ago) they did a bait & switch on me. Young hottie greets you and then sends in her grandma. I swore I wouldn't go back, but given the new stories I might have to, but the only thing I hate is the front door opens right into a very busy parkling lot where you can be easily spotted.

I agree with your comments and have deleted my post but I continue to find it is unfortuate that we must be so secretive that only "proven mongers" should be given updated material on "findings".
I guess the days of this board being a true "open forum" have gone by the wayside and we are to be content with the trivial deluge of insignificant BS that seems to occupy most of the current postings (for an example see anything posted by "Hizark").
As for the LE on the Board presence - I am pretty sure that SDPD already knows what goes on in AMP's but have prioritized their efforts to worrying about the street scene more.
I really think the PD in this city has a main objective to "protect & serve" the average Mr. & Mrs. Taxpayer from the street criminals, pimps and druggies rather than the AMP's - and with the tax burden this city is facing, they need all the businesses and revenue they can get. This however might always change with the election upon us.
Finally as for Kiaa, well, at least I'll have the memory to reflect on.

I agree with your comments and am sorry you decided to delete your post about KIAA. (BTW, I had almost the exact same experience but with different providers about 3 weeks ago.) I have been a hobbyist in SD for over 15 years (I was elgatogordo on the old board) and I believe the level of enforcement by SDPD now is not any more or less than it has been the past 10 years, and certainly has not been influenced by postings on this board. SDPD pretty much know what can go on in the AMPs, and they run periodic stings. But the stings are not precipitated by postings on these boards. They either are routine, or prompted by complaints from neighbors or spouses (i.e. the Escondido busts). The AMP girls know the risks, and generally are pretty good at protecting themselves. To have any value, this board must remain as an open forum for the sharing of information, although discretion definitely is wise. What's the point of the board is the only useful infois only shared by PMs between Senior Members?

You are probably right that SDPD already knows. I'm not sure what prompts them to do the stings, but if I were a AMP regular, I wouldn't post about the good, maybe the bad. Maybe it's a civilian group that monitors and pushes SDPD into doing the busts. Happy hunting.

The current police chief indicated last year that he intended to step up enforcement on prostitution.
Let's also remember that a Normal Heights has a citizens group that has been complaining about prostitution. I have noticed that one see's mainly the same girls. The pimps are maintaining a much lower profile in the past 2 or 3 months.
There also has been several major cases like the Pimp and Hoes daily as well as the Mexican smuggling ring that has raised prostitution in the publics mind.
Went to Adams av and drove on ECB around 4pm. Did not see much action. Only saw Valerie............. Hopefully the action will pick up soon...........

Our beloved Sundance is closing its doors in just under two weeks. I was completely in shock when I was told this news. This place was, to me, the closest thing I had to San Francisco, and was in my own backyard.
I will never forget any of the lovely ladies I met there. I don't know if this is the start of something bad for Escondido, but if it is, we're all going to be sobbing.
So, if any of you haven't experienced this friendly atmosphere, with the beautiful likes of Cindy (Sandy), Linda, and Laura, make sure you get over there before they go away forever.
If I can find out any other information, like where they plan to open shop up in the near future, I will let you all know, but for now, let's all take a moment to remember some of our best experiences at Sundance.

Tonight was a strange but there was quite a few sw's out this evening. Saw at least 7 or 8 girls out............ Unfortunately there was only 2 wsw's worth picking up.

Yesterday I had another above par experience @ KSpa. Place has become popular - had to come back in 30 minutes to accomodate the schedule of the licensed masseuse available. What a lame night... ECB was a ghost town. I drove the entire length around 9PM and it was bone dry. (get it?)
Flew by a few AMPs and there were either closed, understaffed or just plain unappealing.
If this dry spell continues the PD are going to be forced to go after real criminals instead of this easy, non-violent, non-threatening group.

You know, I hate to get on my soapbox here, but this just makes me so angry. I mean, what's up? With all the gangbangers and drugs around, you'd think the police officers would spend their time cleaning up the streets. I see nothing wrong with MP's. Why can't the police just leave these businesses alone? They're not bringing in the riff-raff. I mean, -I'M- not riff-raff. I know you guys aren't either. As a matter of fact, I might go as far to say that most of us are probably doing pretty well to be able to afford such a great extracurricular (and relaxing) activity.

Has some free time this afternoon so I decided to take a afternoon cruise around 2:30. I cruised up ecb and there was not much action.
