Here is the latest scoop on Des Moines. I am 33, I look 25 and am probaly a little above average in appearance. 3) Street action: This is way too risky in my opinion. I have cruised 6th ave area plenty of times and have not seen what others claim to be available. They are not young and even remotely attractive like I have read, but, I guess it's a bit of a lure knowing you might find a middle aged straggler that's willing to have some fun for only $20-$50. But the PD is really on top of this; and this everyone-knows-everyone-who-someone probably knows you- little ass city of Des Moines is the last place I would want to get busted for solicitation.
4) Strip clubs: Now it gets a little better. Iowa has probably some of the best strip clubs in the country believe it or not. I say that because a lot of the cities, like LA, Chicago and Minneapolis, while due to population may have hotter girls; they offer private dances but a strict no contact rule. You sit on a couch while a girl dances a few feet in front of you and a bouncer stands a couple of feet away to keep an eye on the action. WTF is that?!? You can see that at home for a whole lot less on Playboy TV.
Fortunately your hands can rome pretty freely at the Iowa clubs and the grind action can be very, very top notch, this all depends on the dancer of course. The quality of the girls is pretty good in Des Moines and I would say Lumberyard is first, followed by Beach Girls/Pandora's Box, and Big Earls finishes out the top 3. All of these places have dancers that are willing to have some fun outside of the club for $150-$400, obviously depending on girl.
Problem is, you have to find out which one of them is down with the game without having a bouncer throw you out on your ass and probably banishment from the club if caught trying to solicit someone. I would say that for the most part, the black dancers are willing to participate. This is something that will take lots of trial and error so do your research on the how to's and you should be alright. I've done a couple of black ones from the yard for $150 and $200. I've been to places like Florida, Texas, NC and others are definitely as much (or more) hands on. But overall, you get quite a bit in Iowa for your stripper buck.

My visit to Des Moines last week got me interested in checking out the scene again.
In the past week, I met three different ladies in the normal 6th Ave. stroll. With each of them I spent a jackson for a french lesson. I went to the ABS on Cherry street and got a nice french lesson and visited romantix on SE 14th and Army Post and met a ladie that was interested in a lot of action. ABS = Adult Book Store.
These were both experiences with non professional women just looking to have some fun. I would think this is a pretty rare thing to find but can be interesting when you do find it. In both of these cases these women were there with their husband/boyfriend.
The ABS on Cherry is called the Gallery and is located at 1000 Cherry Street.
"romantix on SE 14th and Army Post" is officially called Romantix Pleasure Palace (I think) and is located like my original post said on SE 14th Street and Army Post Road.

I spent several hours touring the stroll around 6th Street on a recent weeknight. Early in the evening I saw a 30 something blonde a few times, walking up and down 6th. Been to Beach many times over the last few years as is one of the few SC in DSM. Anyone have good info on what can happen in the VIP rooms(hadn't been in since the remodel)and for how much?
