It appears as if there have not been any posts here for 22 months. So will make the first one in a very long time. Found this in the newspaper:
Pair arrested for drugs, prostitution by Chad Nation, Staff Writer 10/04/2006
An untimely proposition resulted in the arrest of a woman for prostitution and led police officers to her pimp and crack cocaine.
Council Bluffs police detectives were involved in an undercover narcotics investigation and parked in an unmarked vehicle in a parking lot in the 2700 block of South 24th Street. While detectives were sitting in the vehicle, a transient woman, later identified as Brandi McDade, 26, approached the vehicle.
A detective asked McDade what she was doing and she allegedly replied "working" and got into the back seat of the vehicle. Detectives asked McDade "what is the price tonight?" McDade allegedly told the two detectives her usual prices and quoted them a price for both of them.
When McDade allegedly told officers that they would have to rent a room, the detectives identified themselves as police officers and informed her that she was under arrest.
Officers found crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a two-way radio in McDade's possession. Detectives asked McDade if she had a pimp, and she allegedly told officers that she had "a guy that watches my back," reports stated.
McDade said that he had the other two-way radio and she shared the proceeds of her night at work with him.
Officers obtained the room number where the man, identified as Earl Richardson III, 23, of Omaha, was staying at the Super 8 Motel. Richardson allegedly told officers that he had agreed to share McDade's earnings in exchange for "getting her back," if she needed it.
Richardson was placed under arrest for pimping, and while officers searched the room they located 5.4 grams of crack cocaine.
Both McDade and Richardson were transported to Pottawattamie County Jail. McDade was charged with prostitution, possession of a controlled substance-crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Richardson was charged with pimping and possession with intent to deliver-crack cocaine.

Cops seem to be finding more SW than guys making reports on this board.
Council Bluffs undercover police officers arrested two Omaha women for prostitution Thursday night.
Officers arrested Tamisha Sherman, 27, and Lucy Durand, 24, on the 2700 block of South 24th Street after each agreed to perform a sex act for $200, according to Council Bluffs Police Department reports.
Sherman was arrested at approximately 9:45 p.m. and Durand at about 10:30 p.m., the reports indicated.
Both women were taken to the Pottawattamie County Jail.
Cops seem to be finding more SW than guys making reports on this board.

Any guy who picks up a good looking woman who offers sex for 10 bucks or any sw who gets in the car with a guy offering 200 are both victims of greed and no doubt will soon be doing slammer time...
just my two cents worth....
I assume this happened at the truck stops along I-80 and 24th. It would be hard to believe anyone would offer $$ for a lot lizard. The girls took that big bait and swallowed it since they are use to only getting a Jackson or two out of the guys. Basically, wise up people.

Got as many comments here on the news report as there have been real reports since the thread started. Still none of anyone getting lucky here.
Not been to town but sometimes get news from here, wondering if all the COuncil Bluffs action is reported in Omaha. I know all the Quad Cities reports are posted in Iowa.

An 18-year-old Las Vegas woman was arrested on suspicion of prostitution Tuesday.
Council Bluffs Police reports stated that on Tuesday members of the Southwest Iowa Narcotics Task Force and the FBI conducted a child prostitution check in Council Bluffs.
At 10:15 p.m., a task force detective, who was acting in an undercover capacity, made contact with Ryan Ryan after calling a telephone number located by detectives on an Internet advertisement.
A date was arranged with Ryan, who agreed to come to the location of the undercover operation.
At 11 p.m. Ryan arrived at the undercover residence. After a brief conversation with the detective, Ryan allegedly agreed to engage in straight sex with the detective for $450.
After completing the agreement involving sexual acts for money, Ryan was arrested without incident.
During a search of Ryan's purse detectives found two condoms and a napkin with directions to the undercover residence written on it.
Ryan was transported to Pottawattamie County Jail where she was held on a $2,000 bond.
Will be comming back to the Casinos and streets looking when the water goes down, have been forced to take 80 east since I started driving after the winter months, hope to save gas money and enjoy you streets and casinos in the near future. Sorry for the floods, know it can't be good on business, but helped me find some new places during the detours
