For some reason been hobbying way too much lately so here goes-
Thanks to Dent 55 for the info on the Deerfield apts(sorry Jackson I didn't know where to post this part of the message).
On a Thursday I got a chance to see Penny who's older, skinny. Good service but as usual not the greatest looking. Still enjoyable though. I also got to meet the younger girl in the house, Amy. Once again, not the greatest looking but very good service. We (who knows if she REALLY was!!) were enjoying ourselves so much Jen the mamasan called Amy's phone but obviously she did not answer. About 10 minutes go by and then there's a knock on the door!!!Funny stuff. Anyways, Amy offered DFK, DATY and full finger fun. I let my fingers do the talking, but did not partake in the other stuff.
Penny is still available but Amy "went home".
Then earlier this week visited Sherry who I metioned in an earlier post. Also from the same stable as Sherry I saw Jessica and Anna. Jessica was young tight and not too pretty, still fun though. Anna had a pretty face but was a bit meaty for my taste and had a stretch marked stomache.
Last night was a trip to the Rock. Went to paradise and got a full line up. I got Cookie last time so I opted for Sora. There was another girl there but I didn't quite find her appealing. Good serivce from Sora though. Very pretty, nice body. No complaints from her to finish.
Anyone have any news on the 5 new girls at PT? I got to enjoy Pink last time I went to PT but also saw all the girls there while waiting for Pink in the "waiting room". I want to say this was in Sept or August when I was there.
So who knows a thing or to about Vitamin V? What happens if you take it and you really don't need it? Will it wreck "the goods" if one were to take it often and as I mentioned before, if one doesn't really need it? A friend wants to know(hahahahaha).

A few months ago I was at Pine Tree and one of the girls told me that about 1/3 of the customers that come in only get a suana, table shower and massage. I don't know if that number is correct but I'm sure that if you go to any of the spas you won't shock anyone if all you want is a massage. These customers however are not the girls favorities. I sure that the girls don't get a cut of the house fee, so in their mind they are giving a TS and massage away for free. I suggest that you bring a few extra bucks and tip the girl for what you thought the massage was worth.

Thats what Thursday afternoon felt like. I arrived at PT around 230pm. I was lead into the waiting room which happens to be where the ladies change and surveillance cameras are. Things were pretty damn busy. Being i drove from Downtown Chicago I had to stick around. I was in their waiting for at least 45mins and during that time 3 other mongers were lead into rooms. They musta been regulars as I was pushed to the side. Im finally lead into a room at around 315 and had to wait for the shower for another 10 mins. My girl again was Evy. finaslly after the long wait I get a table shower which was pretty good. Once finally back in the room the session was rushed not even 10mins passed. So I was outta there by 3:45. I was furious so I demanded to talk to Coco. After here repetitive "So Sorry we busy" bullshit I just left. After finally getting home I called her back and explained my frustration. She said same shit about "So Sorry" pretty much yelled at her saying what happened was bullshit and that shit wasnt acceptable. I told her that if things are so busy they should turn clients away and be told to come back rather than rushing everyones experience. She said shed give me the house fee free next time. I point blank told her ill never be back. Since i paid everything with a CC. I demanded half my money back. I shoulda really said all but im sure I wouldnt have gotten it all back. If any of you fellow mongers were there on Thursday afternoon please chime in. Im sure you were rushed as much as I was. Lets set a standard at these places at tell them we wont put up with anymore of that bullshit.
Silvio - we feel ya, man. Been there, done that. Long before PT got so insanely busy I was trying to convince her that its better customer relations in the long run to inform customers upfront of how busy things are, how long the wait will be, etc. She doesn't necessarily have to turn them away, but at least be upfront about how things are. For years I've been posting warnings that PT will consistently have the most smokin' hot women, but will ALWAYS be hit or miss on service.
Yet the hordes continue to stampede over the place. She used to have 3-4 girls. Occasionally one girl would leave before the next would arrive and for 1-2 days she'd be down to only 2 girls. They'd have some rushes but they also had some lulls. Then she would consistently have 3 minimum, usually 4-5. It seems that now she rarely if ever has fewer than 5 girls at any one time. While other AMPs are uncertain of their future, she's spending thousands on expansion.
The busier she gets, the less reliable service becomes. A few years ago if you had a bad experience she'd apologize profusely. And if you saw her again soon after the bad one, if you brought it up to her, there was a chance - not a guarantee, but a chance - that she'd "make it up to you" in a way that was actually tangible and meaningful. I'd guess that's much less likely now.
Years ago, if you succeeded in keeping the tip down to 120 the service was virtually just as good as if you had tipped 160. If it wasn't, your complaint was taken seriously. Now, if you tip 160 you increase your chance of getting better service, or at least sympathy after a bad one. Now, if you get by with 120 and service sucks and you (rightfully) complain afterwards, your greivances will fall on deaf ears.
And yet the mob of johns only increases.
About a year ago I started discouraging mongers from going there, a feeble attempt to "boycott" them so that they'd lower their prices. But her business only increases.
I realized that out of about a dozen vocal mongers that frequent this board, and maybe a few dozen more lurkers, we're really not going to come close to putting any kind of dent in her business.
So for myself I've decided to just not even try anymore. I'm generally not real picky on looks anyways. But, some days I'm in the mood for eye candy. So if I want to venture over to PT, I only go at a time that is sure to be slow. Even so, the last time I went was a disappointment. The chick was so gorgeous no one could deny her right to have a 'tude... that is, out on the street or in a club. She was way out of my league, way out of league of 90% the men on this planet.
But when she's working for me, she has NO right to having a 'tude. So she was careful to be real sweet in the early phases. But the deeper we got into the session the more she slipped into "conceited-lazy-hottie" mode. It was late on a week night, there were more girls than customers, no reason to rush. The session sucked. I wasn't at all upset, I kept my composure. As I headed to the door to leave the room, I stopped and put my hand in my pocket. At the negotiation phase I had claimed that 120 was all I had and if that's not enough I'll go to an ATM for $40 more and use it as a house fee somewhere else.
Well just before I left the room I told her that I always only tip 120, no matter where I go. But if the service is excellent, I tip an extra 20 afterwards. I pulled out the $20 and showed it to her. Her look was a combination of shock that I had "beat" her at the negotiations, that she wasn't able to seduce it out of me; and that was quickly replaced by a look of, "Oh, cool, I get $20 more..." (this after I had already told her that I thought her service sucked...) and she reached out to grab it. I pulled it back and put it in my pocket.
Surprisingly, she looked surprised, as if it was already her money. She puts on a pouty face and acts all indignant... as we step into the hall another girl is right there and my girl starts ranting in korean in an obviously indignant tone. I'd have to be pretty fuckin' stupid to not make the connection. Just as she's upset with me she goes with that tone into a conversation. I don't understand korean but it was pretty obvious what she was saying.
That was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I was going to leave it at that and not say anything to Coco, just make my point to the girl and let her stew. But that final act just showed no class. All in all the session wasn't terrible. For under 200 I got what I had come for, and just had to put up with a little bit of 'tude. Shit happens, you don't always get perfection.
When I did complain to Coco, she did that typical, semi-fake over-exaggerated "so sorry" act, but at the same time I got the feeling that she thinks I'm just a petty whiner. I think I've complained every time the last 3-4 times I went there.
In the end, I actually started to defend Coco. Its not her fault that she's that busy. And if you don't PT you don't have to go. Why should she improve the consistency of service if mongers are still going there in droves? It is what it is.

Opininionated rant over. Here's some news you can use.
Tried out Ruby at Osaka. Either I need to get glasses or they pulled a switch on me. I think its the former. A few days ago I reported that Ruby was the only one working and I asked to be introduced before I paid the house fee. Actually it was nice of the manager to agree to that as easily as she did. I gave my description of Ruby being pretty busty and it looked natural. Well her chest is much smaller than I guessed, but all natural. And still a decent size. I'd swear she was a solid C cup, but she swore she's a B. Also she seemed a bit shorter, and her legs are very nice but not nearly as long as I thought. You'd think that after so much experience you wouldn't be so easily fooled by those monster shoes they often wear.
Anyways, the down and dirty: 5'3", med build, nice wide hips and a lot of ass for a girl that size. I'd be willing to bet she's not 100% korean, I didn't think to ask her. I'd guess she's mixed with something mediterranean, like italian or spanish. You can't really tell from the face right away. She is about 30ish and decent enough to look at.
She starts out with a great attitude, if a little bit distant and mechanical. But if you can get a genuine smile on her face her attractiveness level goes way up. She's one of those good-hearted girls that almost doesn't belong in the biz. Its difficult for her to "act" gfe, but if you connect with her she's a real sweetheart.
Decent skills and attitude. Business was starting to get busy there and I was really dreading a rush job. Recently I've had real bad luck with that at Paradise, first with Sora then with Pollo. I couldn't believe that I was about to get that again. But the rush job never came. And I really took a long time. Especially at the end. I was having one of those days where I kept feeling like I was within 10-30 seconds of finishing, but felt that way for at least 10 minutes. That's something that can be hard on a girl. She thinks your close so starts a major effort to make the finale grand but the end never cums.
She hung in there like a champ. She rushed me just slightly as I got dressed, but I was cool with that because I'm pretty sure the next guy didn't want me to linger with unnecessary googly-eye bullshit. I heard when they guy came in and I knew he had been waiting quite a while already. I promise you that if I were at PT when that guy came in the session would have been waaaay shorter than what I got from Ruby at Osaka.
Everyone wants the hottest possible chick to provide the best possible service for under 180. I just don't see that happening right now, so it looks like there will be some sort of compromise made somewhere.

See my post from 9/20. I had the very same experience. The best thing to do is to get up and leave and don't pay until you are put in a room. Go to paridise next time. Just as good and then some.

I am really beginning to like this place! I went there Monday and had a great session with Angela. Not the prettiest girl in the place but just had a taste for something different. Man, am I glad I did. She is by far the best I have had at Exclusive. I am not usually into piercings, but this girl has her nips pierced and they are just the right size..a mouthful, but what a good mouthful they are! Received a cbj for .6. She had me so worked up with her hand I had to stop her before I blew my load. Alot of finger action, she was soaked and really enjoying our session I think as much as I was. I usually report my findings about 1-2 weeks after the visit. This news can't wait. So far, all of my last reports were from sessions in 2004 or earlier. I haven't reported on 2005 as of yet. Normally I wouldn't report on any of those until next week.
I've been to 4 out of the 5 AMPs. The good news: generally speaking they all provided the following: good massage, no rush, they seemed more cool about giving a line-up even before I paid the house, and more focused on little extras like offering beverages, asking how hot I want the sauna, the girl sitting in the sauna with me, and every place seemed to have far fewer customers than usual, etc.
The bad news: They are now much more limited in what they do. Like, she'd assist in the shower but avoid the 'nads telling me I had to do it. She'd seem shy about seeing me naked, especially outside of the shower. Like, while sitting in the sauna I'd kinda let the towel flap open in a way that my buddy would peek his head out, and she'd make a deliberate attempt to not look down there. If I tried to touch her she'd playfully back away. It kinda seemed like a flirty hard-to-get act, but at the same time serious and firm. I never pushed too hard, figured I'd better see how things go.
On a few occasions, once back in the room, she'd rub a little lotion and/or oil on me, but insisting that she can't do the massage, someone else will have to come in for that. I would remind that I requested her specifically, and she said, "Sorry, I do everything I can. She give good massage, you be happy, OK?"
Again, the good news is that the massage was excellent. Almost too good, too thorough, like eating up too much time. So with each visit I'd get more adamant about cutting it short. But to no avail. What I learned is, you might as well let them massage you as long as they want. With fewer customers in the joint, they can take more time with you.
But it gets worse. Any extra time on massage won't cut into time spent on "extras." There won't be any extras.
I don't think myself to be any kind of expert on Rockford AMPs. I'm not SuperMonger, able to score in any tough situation. There are plenty of guys with better instincts and better suited to coax action out of reluctant girls. But at all the AMPs I recently visited, at a minimum the mamasan knew me. Almost every time, every girl in the line up knew me. Almost every time, the girl I picked was someone that had taken care of my needs in the past. I'm sure I didn't act any differently, I don't look different. I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything to spook them or make them worried about me personally.
There seemed to be more discussion and shuffling in the hallways, even though there were fewer customers. Most times I had the place to myself.
Even though its nearly impossible for me to finish from cbj or hj alone, when it became apparent that NO ONE was giving me fs, neither the "massager" nor the "assistant", I'd beg for lower levels of service anyways. Denied, denied, denied. About half the times I'd make a weak attempt to talk her into it, about half the time I'd try hardcore. On two occasions, following a lot of begging, I did get to finish. I don't want to say exactly who did what, because they probably only did it as a mercy thing and only because they both already knew me really, really well. I even had to PROMISE that I wouldn't even say ANYTHING about it on the 'net.
So I guess technically I'm breaking that promise, but with two conditions: almost no one else will be able to succeed in getting the same thing (this isn't to brag on me, I'm nothing special, but I do go more than just about anyone else) and secondly I will NOT tell who did it, not even by pm... sorry... I'm pretty sure each case was a one-time thing, and they won't even be doing that for me anymore now that I know the deal.
On one occasion I did get a hj. After a while it was clear that wasn't going to work so I finished myself off. On the other occasion I talked the girl into bending over to "supposedly" pick up some towels, then freeze like that while I beat off looking at her ass.
After 7 visits total in 2005, those were my only two finishes at an AMP.
I know about the past, I know about the present, I know nothing about the future. I guess we'll see what happens.

My sympathies over PT -- I had a comparable experience a month or two ago with Pink, and like you, I'm never going back. Too bad we couldn't have a separate thread on this board, say one per state/region, just for documenting rip-offs. Maybe just a poll, enumerating rip-offs at various establishments, would be useful -- sad but useful.
Call me naive, but I'm hopeful that the lack of activity at the AMPs is just a temporary thing -- that free-enterprise / capitalism will prevail over big-brother puritanism.

I do have one little nugget of good news about the AMPs that I can only give by pm. Just so I don't get too swamped, please only inquire if:
1. You actually visit AMPs
2. You may actually go within the next month or so
3. You have contributed to the board, or at least say something so I feel confident you're a monger
4. You are a senior member, regardless of how often you do AMPs I'll be glad to keep you informed
If you have an urgent question in addition to the request for the news I'm offering, by all means ask. But if you have a general question that's not too urgent, then please wait at least a few days. I'll be answering with a single stock response and it will be easier and faster to just whip those out to you.

There's some bad wording in my previous post. Where I list who I'd prefer to share the info with. It looks like I'm limiting to Senior Members. Not true, didn't mean to make it look that way.
I have been getting swamped, which is just fine. I want to get the info out to those that will use it. For the time being, I'd rather exclude anyone that doesn't ever do AMPs but is just curious about the scene. If you're a non-AMP guy and you want to know, then please ask in a week or two.
Then I decided I should open it up to any Senior Member, whether or not he will use the info. I didn't mean to word it to look like ONLY senior members should ask.
So anyone that can make me feel comfortable that you're a monger, and if you think you may use the info in the next month or so, feel free to ask.

Visited Osaka, Pine Tree, & Paradise. They went legit. Massage only. I'm glad I had my fun before the hammar dropped.
Well I stopped at Osaka on a recent trip, saw Ruby, and I regret to say that it might be time to start looking for another city for some Amps. They also went totally legit, what a major bummer!
Anyone know of any other cities around here with amps? Because it looks like the new law has really changed the scene in Rockford.
Things have definitely tightened up. Massage only today at Paradise. It's a sad day when the Golden Touch now offers more service than the AMPs do.

No more long trips to Rockford for me. Visited Paradise and even though I've been there quite afew times it was never like this! Table shower no hands just the shower head placed above me and a quick wash of my back with a wash cloth. I was then put in the sauna for a least ten minutes then back to the room where she handed me a lotion bottle and asked if I wanted to look at her breasts. What the?!?! Was I supposed to give myself a massage? got up gave her a twenty and got dressed and left all the while she keeps saying so sorry honey. Yea sorry is right. Sorry I won't be back. Have been out of the area for more than 3 weeks. Sorry to hear that the AMPs have gone legit, although ai never was an AMP fan. I used to go to Golden Touch; maybe it's time to try again. Last night cruised 7th and then Kishwaukee and saw maybe 3 girls, one older brunette I've seen before - really bad. Of course the weather was wasn't good. Went to Hideaway and had a nice time and arranged for take out when I come back next week. Thought of going to Belvidere but I didn't have enough time.
Cougar 68 - I'm sure anyone would've done what you did. The mood was killed, no point in sticking around. But now that we all know the deal, here's something that may ease the burden a little.
Hopefully things eventually return to normal. How will we know when that is. In the mean time, eventually some of us will get that urge and decide to go toftt. If you go and try playing fs-roullette and strike out, it may be a small consolation to know that you are still entitled to a massage. It may be limited to the only person that's licensed, but hey, you may as well get what you can.
Cougar, not saying anything about what you shoulda done. We're all making the adjustment, and I'm sure everyone woulda just cut losses and bailed.
But from now on, look at it as an experimental experience.
Besides, as I've mentioned in the past, there has been several times when I was a little short on dough, or not really "horny" per se but I had time on my hands and missed the overall AMP experience. Its not uncommon for me to go just for the massage, and then no extras. And I would usually tip a good $20 at least, especially if the girl really did a great job.
What the hell, guys. They're going to need our support through these lean times. $40-$60 for shower, sauna and massage is not such a bad deal no matter how you look at it. Don't let them get lonely.
Lets see if we can keep the parking lots full of customers that want to show their appreciation for the years past. Let's keep them afloat. If you got a buddy that helps you move, or if you lose a bet or something, try to get some bodies in there. If you have a non-hobbyist buddy, tell him this is a great time to pamper himself.
Hell, get some women customers in there. Anything. Be creative.
Just don't get frustrated. May as well enjoy it for what it is. Its still nice to have a cute petite girl walking on your back.

I have been back from Latin America since Nov. 15 but I havent gotten serviced since the Just last Thursday the 19th as I drove through Rockford. I went up and down 7tha few times a saw three sw's after about 20 minutes saw a 6 and picked her up for a great BBBJCIM. she asked for $30 but I told her $25.She did a great Job so I gave her $30 Anyway. I'm not saying things in the AMPs have changed back to normal yet or anything.
I've been debating something in my mind the last few months. If one were to be absolutely objective, I guess I'd have to admit that the proceedings were slightly tainted. It was right at the very beginning of the massage, I mentioned to Sara of Paradise that I felt she was very near to "legend" status. I asked her if she understood "legend", she said yes. I mentioned Pink of PT, Sara knows her (or at least knows of her) and she was flattered that I'd even mention her and Pink in the same sentence.
Long story short, IMHO, the session that followed cemented Sara's standing as a Rockford AMP legend. While its true that I may have spurred Sara on with my comments, the fact is, the performance was there.
After the post-massage shower I was in the room drying off and Chanel came into the room to explain to me all the upcoming personnel changes. As I stood and dried off and chatted with Chanel, Sara was literally on her knees massaging the tops of my feet (earlier, I had pointed out a specific acupuncture point on the top side of each of my feet that needed attention).
Well, I may just be feeling a bit high in the after-glow, so y'all can check me on this. Everyone in favor of bestowing "legend" status upon Paradise's Sara, say "aye," anyone opposed say "nay," by public post or pm. I'm open minded about this, I'm not exactly in a good objective frame of mind at the moment.
She's leaving Sunday, so go and see her while you can. Definitely mention the word "legend" and she'll work like the dickens to live up to it.
I also met Micki/Nicki (?) in the hall. She seems to have a sweet personality. Very slender yet a bit chesty, cute face, I'm very much looking forward to checking her out. Another new girl had just gotten in Thu night, she'll be starting Fri morning. Another new girl arrives Sunday, and Cookie and Sara are gone on Sunday. I didn't understand if Sunday is the last day for Cookie & Sara or if they depart on Sunday.

If you do go to see Sara, here's a little tip for how to get the best session with her: mention the word legend; as in, you heard that she is now a legend. I promise, she will try to live up to the title. I can't believe how good my feet still feel. They get sore everyday. After a massage, it takes a day or two for them to start getting sore again, but after seeing her they still feel like they just got massaged an hour ago. Her massage, everywhere else is nice, too. But feet are her specialty.

Ok, NOW Sara really is on vacation. Supposedly will be back in a few weeks. I met Micki. Very slender, cute and very sweet personality. Good english. She seems a bit shy at first but she's fun to chat with. Her massage includes some chinese techniques. Overall, somewhat laid back yet very accomodating.
Are any of the AMPs worth going to at this point? The LS are okay but their hours (closing at 11) are a pain. Even if the service has been "reduced" but somethings are still available I think it would be worth the trip.
Have not been to Rockford for a few months. What the hell changed things so quickly? Isn't this just a phase Real?

The reports I found on TV and radio mentioned that the investigation covered a 3-4 year period. Which might explain why the long closed Rainbow was included in the list of suspects. I read of a similar bust in Ann Arbor, MI a few years back. In that bust the local newspaper took it upon themselves to publish the names of all the customers, of the offending establishments, who had used credit cards to purchase services. The newspaper was later sued for releasing the information, and apologized. Hope that doesn't happen here.
I guess cash is a better option if you want to avoid complications, when purchasing legal services.
The TV news said all the AMP's are closed indefinitely, and showed squad cars
parked outside of the closed Spa's.
Too bad, the AMP's were one of the only reasons to visit that hell-hole,
we affectionately call Rockford.

For what it's worth. I drove by the Oriental Health Spa this morning and the open signs were on. Don't know if they were mistakenly left on, or whether they were actually open for business. But I don't think I'll take the risk and check it out. With my luck, I'd get busted.

The FBI Rockford office, Rockford Police Department, Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Postal Service and U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement started investigating the seven health spas in October 2003, officials said. They believe the criminal activity traces back to 1998.
The only reason governments target prostitution is because they cannot find a way to tax it. So they invest huge tax dollars trying to prevent it. Then add the claim that it creates community problems like drug dealing, higher crime and STD rates. What does the post office have to do with this? Maybe because postal workers were taking long lunch breaks decreasing the productivity of snail mail raising our federal taxes and stamp prices.
This is only really true in areas that have high drug dealing problems first. You hear stories about a John picking up a SW and the experience was average and the biggest reason for the downfall was that she was a crack head.
I will bet money that the largest percent of crack head SW’s got involved in drugs and crime way before they got involved in being a SW. They lost their job because they got cracked up enough to lose their job, their spouse and kids, became desperate because they become jobless, evicted, homeless, then broke. But the only thing they care about is their crack and their next fix of crack.
Yet you will not see the government go into a strip club, bar, restaurant, or any other social meeting place to audit the tips given or the integrity of the workers there that pocket extra cash on the side for services provided that are never claimed on taxes.
If the government would allow prostitution (RLD’s, spas, strip clubs, etc) in all states not only could they tax prostitution they can regulate areas, cleanliness, safety, and health.
Some advantages are: free choice, boost economy, create hundreds of 1000 of jobs in different fields (health, security, construction, development, legal, public relations, tourism, internet, technology, government etc), decrease sexual assault crimes, etc.
Some disadvantages are: possible higher divorce rates (currently at or above 50%) but most likely it would lower divorce rates in the long run, the morality conflict with different groups social and religious (get over it, it is and always will be the oldest profession in the world…oh and by the way how is your affair on your spouse going?), etc.

It does look grim, but even the paper cannot get the correct story. In one article it mentions Rainbow when maybe perhaps it should be Paradise, in another article it mentions Paradises address.
In all the years of hearing about AMP’s in the newspaper, no matter what state or city, I have not read about many people complaining or filing complaints.
In the one article it states that the homeowner near Royal was complaining. Well he did choose to buy the only house in that cul-de-sac that enters a business. He would complain about the traffic passing his house regardless of whatever business stands there. He should be glad it is not a 24 hr. fast food joint.
Why would he care if a Jaguar, Yukon, or some other car were parked in the businesses parking lot there? It is not like there were drive by shootings and drug dealing. In fact there was not even street prostitution there. Not all semis that drove down his road were a patron of Royal. Some semi-drivers just want to turn around due to a wrong turn created by the great street planners, or get some sleep. Who cares if some were patrons?
Business owners near Tokyo may state that parking was not available and patrons had to park two blocks away. Tokyo had little influence or affect on parking. I have stopped at all of those surrounding businesses at various times of day and on different days of the week through out the year an not once had to park over a block away (very short blocks).
That area has limited parking in the back and on both sides of the street. Granted all the businesses suffer due to the lack of parking in general. That has very little to do with Tokyo since they have only one parking space and I have never seen Tokyo have a line of people out the door. There is a bar and a restaurant in that area that creates most of the parking congestion.
Final thought…although the government may frown upon prostitution at MP’s, strip clubs, and other adult related business, I have yet seen any of them lower the overall value of a community. MP’s overall are discrete, clean, and provide a friendly and safe environment for both the employee and customer, they do not liter trash or perform sexual acts in public view along streets and alleys. Strip clubs and other adult related business might have lower standards of the aforementioned. I can see how big the MP threat is...they might take over towns, cities, and goverments.

So now they're squeezing the tube at one end, where will the action go now? I, for one, sure as hell ain't going to hobby any less than I ever have before just because of this crackdown.
Not much I can add to some of your insightful comments on why this is just a feelgood thing to the conservative midwest townies, and how it doesn't add to crime (good points slowandeasy), or that cleaning it up doesn't stop crime. The one thing I would add is that it does nothing to address the problem that's big in the summer of street girls leaving needles in peoples back yards, urinating on houses, generally leaving the neighbors in fear. But they can't do anything about those, because the jails are too full for their petty crimes (until incidents like where the pimp and hooker stole a car with a baby in it last fall). But federal prosecutors don't care about all that with their case. The city would have to house these people for them, regardless, and since they are business owners, not street hookers, they'll be out soon enough. If they get shut down they probably go back to LA, Chicago, New York or wherever. Easier mission accomplished. ANother point I might add about the owner next to Royal... I've met the previous owner, (never heard a complaint, but never asked, either) and read how this one has only been there 2-3 years. Well, if you know that business is there, and you don't like it, why would you buy the house there and hope for THEM to move. People are funny!
I was in the Rockford area on Feb 18 late afternoon and stopped at Toyko. It was a very interesting visit as mamasan was the one giving TS. I was later told that this was due to the lady having feet that were bad due to the TS water.
Well the TS was prefunctory. When I returned to room a lady entered for the rest of the visit. Visit was similar to my last several visits as far as service was concerned. At the end she was in NO hurry to end session and I believe it went on for at least 1:15 min. She asked me about food smell and I said i really liked chinese type food. Well she left and returned with a bite of food -lettuce wrapped around a small piece of pork. When I said it was good, she left and returned with 2 more pieces.

Cruised into Rockford about midnight on my way to Minneapolis for a
show, went up and down 7th and Broadway and didn't see anything I wanted in my car much less around my rod.
Then I saw a 7 walking down Broadway, looked like that girl Wisconsin
found, Lisa. I was all excited, she was carrying a small 8"X5" metal case
that I thought might be for make-up but maybe it was sex toys...
ANYWAY, I did everything including stopping and asking her if she

I got into Rockford early about 2pm or so on my way to a show in Washington DC. I Cruised 7th and Broadway to no avail and then as I was heading over to Broadway on 7th I saw a Blonde standing by the Bank behind Broadway and a parking lot off 7th. I Swung around as quickly as I could but when I came around to that back bank parking lot the blonde was gone and I then spotted 2 mullatto looking candidates at the ATM so I made the eye contact and sure enough. I parked and they both approached the vehicle and I chose the thinner prettier one.
She said her name is Passion and she is 21 and an 8 by the SW scale. We negotiated a price and ended up going to her apartment. I liked her so much I upgraded my previous order and 1 hour cost me $60. Rockford is definately alive and Kickin, and even Fort Wayne has a little action too, check out my upcoming post from the Fort Wayne Home Show.

Tuesday March 8th...
I got a hotel and called Passion for a delightful 2 hours for .$ she left and after I got some food I was feeling hungry again and figured I would cruise 7th and Broadway around 2am. I cruised for a bit and found nothing and then I found Jamie on 6th and Broadway. She was a 5-6 but she had a decent body and she looked sweet. I was right she was sweet and we negotiated .25 for a BBBJTCIM. We went back to my hotel and she showered and got all made up and then we layed down and fell asleep, we woke and she blew me and we checked out and I took her back to her place about 11am. For .25 total.
Drove by Paradise and Tokyo and they are both closed and the sign at Paradise has been turned inside out. Looks like amps are in trouble for a while in the Rock.

First of all, thanks for all the info that you provide. I'm a converted lurker, but now I'm completely inactive, and so don't have any current info to post. I'll endeavor to contribute as much as I can, primarily on this and the Aurora boards, in the coming weeks and months.
It is good to start reading that the stroll in Rockford is picking up. I've had MANY a wild time there, and I only partake in the SW scene. Are we going to have a separate category for SW, as Jackson mentioned when starting the new Forum? Not that I don't respect the AMP scene, but it holds no interest to me, and I find myself rifling through posts to find tidbits related to the SW scene.
The one tip I will offer to any newbies out there is that if a SW seems jittery, and acts way too hyper, DO NOT deal with her. It could be meth, and you do NOT want to try to handle a meth-addled SW who gets on a paranoid trip. She could easily damage you and/or your property, no matter how petite she looks. It just isn't worth the risk.
Well, be careful out there, guys. And I'm glad to finally be among the active posters here.

Welcome back, MM. Just wondering, would it be possible for you to scan back a page or two to get caught up on recent events in Rockford? Your last AMP reports were about as relevant and useful as your tip for discounts at Tokyo by using some code word. Sorry, I guess I'm just grouchy. You do present lots of great info that others will find useful. But being aware of your surroundings is also respectful.
I used to periodically check this site to see if its possible to start a new thread. Of course, I was going to start one for the AMPs. I don't think there's any point in that now, so its been a while since I last checked. But, LS's and SW's get very little conversation combined so there may not be any need to have more than one thread for Rockford, anyways.
Well neither LS's nor SW's are my bag so there's really not too much point in my hanging around here too much. I think for a month or so I'll check in from time to time to see if anyone has anything interesting to add about the crackdown. Other IL destinations are just a bit too far for me, and the Madison and Milwaukee sections haven't had much to offer for me either.
I've been struggling to reduce my hobby activity. I didn't hope it would happen like this, I'd prefer to continue to have options open. I've also been bouncing around some alternate mongering ideas, I guess this is the impetus I needed to stop procrastinating and start moving on those ideas. If you don't hear from me for a while, don't doubt for a minute that I'm still in the game. If nothing else I'll keep the pm/email alert on so I'll know if anyone here sends me a message.
If I come up with a promising situation, even if its only in the Madison area, I'll come to this section and drop a note in case anyone's interested.
Again, with the AMPs gone there's not much use for me here. But just because you don't see a post from me doesn't mean that I'm totally out of the picture. I've made a few good friends here and I hope to stay in touch. Until then, remember...

Traveled through Rockford last Monday. Saw no less than six SW's on my cruise through. This is at 3:00 PM on a Monday afternoon with school buses out ~ where else but Rockford eh? Most were dogs, but I did pick up Miranda. Said she was orignally from Kentucky. 22 years old, blonde, cute and a very nice body. FS for $.5 at a local notel. Her one arm was pretty scarred up around the elbow joint. She said she was bit by a horse. weird. Average to so-so performance for a youngster. Slightly better than average oral skill's for one of this age.

I have not posted in a while however the recent developments concerning the AMP's in Rockford have me worried! I received "Really Great Service" at Paradise while my visits were not consistant due to "Money Problems" the dollars I spent were well worth it! It seems clear that we are going to have to "Pick-Up" our girls in & around town, since our regular hangouts are now closed "DUMB" is the word I'd use for LE. Since more activity is going to be on the streets.
Now that I think of it Guys perhaps that is exactly what LE wants since they can plant their people in and around our pick-up spots & haul our ass in jail. Not Me!!!!!! I'll hang out around strip clubs & catch the girls after hours that way I know they won't be cops.
This is for all the Police Officers who think they have us beat, with a little thought & effort we can get around the system & still have our Cake too.

according to the articles i've seen, the agencies involved with the bust were all federal level. this crackdown obviously had nothing to do with attempting to end or reduce prostitution in rockford, il. the amps are an interstate enterprise, involving legal/illegal/gray-area immigrants. if the irs and postal service are involved there must be other non-prostitution charges. i have no clue what the postal charges are, maybe something tied in with false identities for po boxes or some such piddly shit. no idea. i once knew of a drug dealing operation that would mail cash to have it laundered. i'm not alleging anything, just throwing out ideas.
there's been no mention of drugs, which is no surprise, but obviously this wasn't primarily about prostitution. the articles i've seen actually raise more questions than they answer. multiple agencies, many names, but few specific charges mentioned and nothing to match up names to the charges.
my biggest hope is that one of the owners and/or managers is only charged with one or two weak charges, then pays off whatever fines and/or beats whatever charges, and is then capable of resuming business. or possibly if there's some sort of loophole that would allow another party, someone that has never been charged with crimes related to prostitution (whatever) is somehow allowed to take over a business. i know little to nothing about buying or starting a business store front, i'm just grasping at straws.
in any case, if an amp is re-opened or if a new one pops up, i guarantee that place will be packed 24/7. to be honest, i'm not even sure how much i'd want to go if there was only one or two open.
even if that's the case, i get the feeling it will be a loooooong time before we see anything happen. actually, i doubt anything will. my gut feeling is that for an amp to open in rockford, we'll have to wait about 20-30 years for a lot of people to die or get too old to care, and then maybe a younger generation will be able to get something passed through and allowed to open.
i think its pretty obvious that i had gone way overboard with my amp visits. i was in the process of cutting down. it was harder than i thought, but i did keep making progress. every month or two i'd go less and less. my ruse on the supposed "end" of getting "extras" is pretty much moot, now. in part, it was to help me cut back. the less i post, the more i do other stuff, the less amps are on my mind, the less i go. the less i go, the less i post, etc...
so this is quite a shock. i never wanted to go cold turkey like this. i always hoped the option would be out there. not just for me but for everyone. but like i said, i think this had nothing at all to do with shutting down our fun. look at the differences between how the ls's operate and the amps. look at the differences between the crackdown on the ls's and the amps. if the ls's had been guilty of various federal charges from multiple federal agencies i doubt that they would have survived last year's crackdowns.
i really and truly hope that there will always be a few cities around the country that will decide to allow for and then monitor a place for hobbyists to do their thing. rs in madison is a good example. keep 'em in check, don't let 'em run roughshod over the law with several ongoing crimes at a time... drugs, laundering, ****, abuse, animals, public nuisance, explicit store front, using the money to fund other criminal activities, etc.
be discreet, report your income, maintain healthy standards and practices, keep your nose clean, treat the girls well, etc. it would be nice if there could be some sensible solutions.
sorry i'm just ranting on, but here's a question that's burning in my mind. we know that in the last two-three years, 3 new spas had opened up. brand new, where none had existed before. paradise, sakura and pine tree. have any laws changed in the last year or two regarding opening a new business? has the process for getting approval changed dramatically? coco had been a worker at tokyo; then she was the original owner of the brand new paradise; then she owned both paradise and sakura, having took over sakura from a previous owner (who had run it as a typical amp); then she opened the brand new pine tree.
so who's to stop another amp from opening? if someone with zero history of trouble with le petitions to open a brand new health spa to be staffed by fully qualified lmt's, who's to stop him/her? what if that person, or some of the perspective employees are korean? can they be prevented from opening based on their ethnicity? what if he/she is a fully naturalized citizen, or what if the new owner is a native born citizen of the us?
i don't know if someone would want to risk it. but they way i see it, if the ls's are allowed to stay alive just because they haven't been charged with various federal and immigration offenses, what if a new health spa wanted to open? what if it could show that, within reason, there's little to no reason to suspect that it would also engage in federal offenses? what if it promised up front to go the extra mile to verify its compliance with massage licensing laws, immigration, income reporting, etc?
for example, the price structure would have to change. i recently noticed a difference in the way rs prices things compared to the amps. with rs charging a higher upfront fee, even though the end price of the session is similar to an amp, a slighlty larger percentage ends up getting recorded/reported. so while our society accepts that most wait staff will lie about the total the collect in tips, i'm sure most providers do, too. my point is, maybe a mp will be better tolerated if the reported income is much closer to the truth.
if all the amps ever did was provide fun for hobbyists and make a little extra on the side, i suspect they'd still be open with the ls's. if the allegations are true, about immigration violations and other various federal charges; and if there's even a grain of truth to the possibility of girls being threatened or mistreated, then they brought this crackdown upon themselves. i still think much of this has to do with 9/11.
my theory is this. five years ago you could have three different illegal immigrants: a drug runner, a farmer, a prostitute. maybe ins and fbi would focus on the drug runner, but their efforts would be independent of eachother. no one was going after the latter two. now the two agencies are sharing missions, intel, assets, etc. and with pc "zero tolerance" mentalities pervading, there will no longer be the distinction between the drug runner, the farmer and the prostitute. in the end, an immigration violation is an immigration violation, period.
lastly, i got a nugget from a non-hobbying korean buddy. he read in a national korean newspaper about amp system "taxi drivers" getting busted. these are guys that will drive the girls from one amp to another. not sure of the exact charge, i'd assume simply that they were participants in the enterprise. the point is, i don't see much evidence of this crackdown being at all about ending or reducing prostitution in rockford, il. at best, in a general le mentality, any and all le officers would like to see a reduction in all crimes, etc.
but mainly, it looks to me like this particular crackdown is intended to go after the amp network as a whole. there have been a few other busts around the country. new jersey, connecticut, etc. i'm not sure but i wouldn't be surprised if those other busts were tied in with the rockford crackdown.
this is all just conjecture. i'm just trying to put the pieces together and understand this better. if/when i get more info i may change some or all of the theories i've layed out. i mainly just wanted to say that i really really don't think this has anything to do with an effort by le to reduce the total number of times a john purchases sexual favors from a provider. i don't even think its about all that. having said that, i do agree with many points made here that in the end, there may be some detrimental fallout from the crackdown as hobbyists look for other outlets.
as for me, as i stated earlier, as of now, i really don't have any reason to ever go back to rockford. i had never been there before i found the amps, i won't return unless another amp opens up.

My goodness Real, that was not a not-it was a book!
Anyway, I hit the regular strolls in Rockford last evening. Heavy, heavy LE presence. Don't know the reason, just seemed to be cruising or parked talking to each other. I must have counted eight cars in one tour of the 7th street area about 6:30 PM.
Needless to say, the SW traffice was lighter that normal as a result. A few on the regular suspects, and a few new faces. Saw two newbies on Eighth, north of Broadway, but when I came arount the block, the better looking one was getting into some guys pickup. Kept cruising, and evenutally found Kathy, a 20 something, slim WSW on 15th near 11th Street. $30 for FS in the car, so the evening was not a total loss.

Don't limit yourself to 7th. Kiswaukee, 11th St and some of the side streets in the area are good bets. Time of day makes a difference also. I've seen them out at 7:30am. Mid-morning to late afternoon are also good times. Of course after dark is prime.

Was in Rockford to drop a friend at the local airport. Swung back up 11th, and then Broadway to 7th. Circled around and found a reasonable selection for a Sunday night about 8PM. Choice was Pam, a 20ish WSW, who I made eye contact with on Kish at about 15th Street by the Walgreens. Went out west to a Notel, where we got to know each other much better, at the cost of two Jacksons. Had better, but not bad for a "spur of the moment" cruise!

After an enjoyable session at Executive, I had to drive into Rockford to confirm for myself that all of the amps are shut down. Paradise's sign is down; no evidence that they were ever there. Pine Tree still has sign up, but a handwritten sign in the door. Clearly not open for business. Osaka's sign was lit up still, but closed sign up. Kind of depressing.
Drove downtown to Hidewaway. Early evening: lots of girls and not many customers. A good time can be had here, but you need to work at it or just get lucky. Lap dances are high mileage, but generally no extras (I think, I didn't dance with everyone). I had a satisfying time, but it took some work, instinct and luck. I'm not going to ruin a good thing, so I'm going to leave my recommendation at that. There was clearly heightened apprehension for law enforcement activity.

In route from Wisconsin to Illinois today I had the pleasure to troll the streets of Rockford early this afternoon around 1 - 2 PM for a travel break. Several providers out, plus one LE cruiser who seemed bent on spoiling people fun.
Picked up "Tayna". A very fine 20 year old BSW. White sweater, knicker type jeans, nice teeth, straight hair parted in the middle. Good attitude, great oral skills, a fantastic ass and body (although only a B cup at best), and a very, very nice crotch. $.4 for FS at loca notel. Recomended.

Hit Rockford for my regular weekly visit. Cruised the normal strolls about 5:45 to 6:15 and was pleased to see a reasonable amount of activity. A few new faces, and most all of the old 'shanks' on their regular tracks. After meeting friends for dinner, I hit the strolls in ernest, and found the scene at 9 PM to be much different. All thenew faces were long gone, and even the seasoned regulars were scarce and scarcer! Three at the corner of 5th ave and 7th st. Two more near 6th Ave and 9th st. One or two near the supermarket on Broadway, and thats it! None worth the risk, so I went home horney.
I did not note anything more that a light to normal LE presence at either time. There were other mongers out, but I did not observe anyone picking up anything. Normally, when the sun goes down, activity increases. Maybe Rockford is the exception this spring. I even 'beat the bushes' on 11th south of Harrison with absolutly no luck. Hit all sidestreets from Alton south to Sandy Hollar and just burned up gas. Election time maybe?
My last visit to a Rockford Amp was in December. I went to Paradise, saw Sora. I very nice session. Too bad every thing is gone now.

Visited Rockford last evening, and found the regular strolls quiet. Scrounged the 7th Street area from end to end between 5:30 and 7:30 and could not find anything fresh at all. The regulars were mostly out, but was not interested in "old veterans" who just work to support 'the pipe', if youknow what I mean.
After checking out the 11th Street area, I found a few to chose from, but still not anything worth the risk or the investment. Worked my way south, and finally found the evening's entertainment sitting in the MacDonalds south of the bypass on 11th Street. A sweet young thing from the country, and not brave enough for the Rockford strolls yet. About 19-20, white, 5'1" and 100 pounds. Long dark hair, and a little baby fat around the middle, but soft and sweet. Retired to the local Notel, and found the price of a room has increased to $20 per hour. The regular areas are 7th Street from about Charles south to Broadway, and 11th street from Broadway south to the area of the Rt. 20 bypass. Some areas are better than others depending the time of the day.

CarbThe amps all took a nose-dive on the first of the year. I went to Paradise in Late December and got Great service, But as of the First of January they
all became no-touch, 'Look at me and DO it yourself ' type of places.
I'm not sure of the actual date of closings but I believe it was mid-to late February. Check past postings for actual dates.
They make it sound as if they were shut down for tax evasion or illegal smugling of foreign girls, but it's most likely that the 'under-the- table. keep-the-heat-off ' money that they were paying to local or state political scum suddenly became NOT-ENOUGH.

Strider's right. The only way an AMP will ever open up in Rockford is in 20-30 years, when a bunch of people in charge now have died or are in nursing homes and a whole new generation is willing to allow them. Its not about the local Barney Fifes wanting to put the kabash on adult fun. If that were the case you'd see more of a crackdown on LS's and SW's.
Like Strider says, the AMP crackdown is a nation-wide thing led by the feds. Not sure if Ricoh and conspiracy charges are part of the deal, could be. What you have is an inter-state crime network involving sketchy immigration statuses and a lot of unreported income, led by a non-mafia buddy system of mostly old ladies and under a top rung of a few scuzzy, useless, pansy old men that contribute nothing of value to the enterprise except to call the shots and collect their cut.
I still can't figure what the postal charges could be. Maybe identity fraud tied in with PO boxes, maybe sending cash through the mail to launder it, who knows. But the Patriot Act makes it easier - actually demands - greater cooperation between federal agencies. The AMPs are just a very vulnerable systm in today's political environment. For the feds to decide to go after them is just a no-brainer, they were the "low-hanging fruit."
Rockford was known as one of the bigger centers for hardcore AMP activity. Any nation-wide crackdown had to hit Rockford. In the end it had nothing to do with local community crusaders or our explicit and prolific posts. It was coming regardless of anything the citizens of Rockford or us on this board did or didn't do.
I share your frustration Liebermann. Its not getting any easier as time goes on. It sucked at first and I decided I'd just accept it as best I could. But as more time goes on I feel like I'm more and more "over due."
But its over for Rockford. I'm wondering if any AMPs will survive. It may be possible if the following conditions apply:
1) They only deal with girls that are clearly in good standing with immigration status.
2) They aren't *TOO* profitable, at least not with the unreported income. Its interesting that the ones scattered around the 'burbs today tend to have a higher house fee, less fs so therefor less income from tips.
3) In the above two ways and in lots of other minor ways, just generally more "low key".
It seems like for years the Rfd AMPs were playing it fast and loose with the rotations. It was very unusual for girls to stay in one place or return. It seems like the more time that went on, the more common it was for a few certain girls to not rotate, or to return. This seemed to become especially true in the last few months before the bust. Two - three years ago you almost never saw a girl return or stay. Very very few exceptions. For the last half-year before the busts there was Cookie and Sara at Paradise; Tammy, Pink and a couple others at Pine Tree; Yoko and Angie at Tokyo; Royal had one girl for a long time at the end, can't remember her name; Annie at Osaka.
Returns and long term stays very suddenly became much more common, I wonder if that had anything to do with them suspecting that trouble was headed their way and they just wanted to play it more safe, as much as possible.
I know very little about the remaining AMPs in the 'burbs. How different are they? I only know them by what I read. Just based on that they may be just different enough to continue. If they don't have the federal "issues" going on, it may just be up to the tolerance of the local community. Any thoughts?

Real Fun is right in the respect that Amps won't re-open in Rockford for many years. I'm pretty sure they all knew they were living on borrowed time here. If this was a national or international scheme - and it probably was - then the feds won't allow anything like this again. I'm curious about the "parlors" in Chicago and the burbs. Many have been closed on prostitution charges. But some still advertise in the Sun Times.
There's an Amp in Sycamore and one in Port Byton. I believe these are one or two person operations and have no national connection, Otherwise, they'd be closed also.
With all this going on, funny how everyone has forgotten the lingerie shops and the parlors in Belvidere. Maybe they're left alone so that there is someplace for hobbyists to let off steam - sort of speak.

Individual LS's and MPs like RS/GH in Madison and Exec/CestLV in Belvidere etc are stand alone business not part of an interstate network. I doubt they make as much as the busier Rfd AMPs, and they rarely if ever involve immigrants. If they are at all involved with crimes other than prostitution as the AMPs were involved with laundering, conspiring, etc, even if (and that's a big IF) then still they are doing so on a much smaller scale than the AMPs did. Basically, the feds have no concern for american mp's and sw's, those are totally local issues.
CA's have some things in common with AMPs but one big difference is they aren't trying to maintain a "legitimate front," they don't maintain a public business that's been given its "blessing" or right to exist by a formal process. They're definitely more underground. No city council has looked a CA leader in the eye and signed legal documents to be kept on file as a record of their right to exist. There's no awkward questions from curious kids to their parents by simply driving through town. Its less likely that a kid will get a hold of an adult rag.
I have no way of knowing, but on the surface it seems there's more of a chinese mafia than a korean one. But I also have no way of knowing of what sort of link there is, if any, between CA's and mafia. My gut tells me there was little to no mafia behind AMPs. So when you consider the possibility of CA's getting cracked down on, when you look at it through the lens of the AMP crackdown it seems like the obvious next step.
But when you back up and consider the larger picture, if the feds decide to put any kind of squeeze on chinese organized criminal activity, is prostitution really gonna be at the top of that list? Again, I have no way of knowing.
To my logic, I can't understand why any community or LE agency would ever have an aggressive and active agenda against prostitution itself anyways. In reality its rare that they ever do. Prostitution crackdowns tend to occur when there's other crimes connected. Before the AMP crackdown I had no idea of how much or how little "other" crimes were supposedly beign committed by the AMPs in Rockford. I had theories and gut feelings but I think that in the end I was surprised that the extent of the "other" offenses were strong enough to get the feds working on it.
That's why I have the "low hanging fruit" theory. Very little field work. And I think it was no small factor that a large majority of that field work involved going under cover to receive a massage from a scantily clad petite hottie and engaging her in a mental contest of getting her to "screw up" and cross the line of illegality... first... So you have intelligent, well schooled, young healthy macho men trying to "beat" a non-english speaking, easily intimidated little foreign girl with a legalistic word game.
I doubt they had any trouble finding volunteers for that mission!
I'm not exactly knocking them for it either. It sucks but that's their job. Maybe AMPs weren't committing the worst crimes ever but LE definitely got a lot of bang for their buck... opposite of the way we always had! Basically a very small amount of effort netted a lot of people and completely wiped out a whole scene. LE doesn't get that many opportunities to have so little effort go so far.
I thought I knew a little about AMPs. There's still much, much more that I don't and now will never ever know. Not that I'd ever want to. There's just many things I'd rather not know. I know less about the CA's. Are they next on the hit list? Are they more or less vulnerable? Are they tied in with other stuff? Are they more or less slippery? I guess these should remain publicly UNANSWERED rhetorical questions for now. If you have any educated theories about the CA's it may be best to keep them to yourself.
Years ago I did get some good insider info that its very likely that Rainbow got closed down mostly because of immigration issues. I didn't say anything publicly. Let everyone theorize about the possibility of bribes to local politicians or whatever. There's probably something to that, too. Now in light of recent events I believe that there also may have been the possibility of laundering. But I'll always have a strong suspicion that the main factor that got them under the microscope was the immigration thing.
Its all speculation, its all moot now. I'm glad of one thing, that I never took them for granted. It wasn't always a major concious thought in the front of my mind on every AMP visit. But I did make an over-arching concious effort to NEVER take the AMPs for granted. In between visits while I'd ponder my recent visits and anticipate the next; on the day of a visit in the 4-12 hours before I made the drive I'd anticipate that day's coming visit; and immediately after a visit while on the drive home; I always pro-actively maintained an attitude of appreciation for them.
I never took them for granted.
So the first day I found out they were shut down it really didn't hit me as hard as I'm sure some thought it would. I was more concerned for the people involved. I hated the thought of them going throught the ordeal of going through the criminal justice system. One consoling thought is that it seems that the workers themselves, the younger ones, weren't too much of a priority.
But it is starting to hurt more now as more time goes by. The selfish part of missing the AMPs is tougher now than the first few weeks after the busts. I don't think I ever went more than one week without a visit when they were open. So when they were closed there was that immediate shock and no choice but to accept it. But the more time that went by the more I felt like I was long "overdue." And I just don't like the local options.
The good news is I had been wanting to cut back for a long time. I tried many unsuccessful strategies. I made some headway. But I definitely didn't want it to happen like this. For me there is one bit of good news. I just bought a 52" TV for $3,000. Paid cash for it with money that definitely would have gone to the AMPs if they were still open.

To all that asked, CA stands for "chinese apartment." These are apartments, usually in a large complex with somewhat private entrances, where one chinese girl will work. They're advertised in the adult biz rags (Gentleman's pages, Chicago After Dark) found in porn shops. Don't let the stock model pics fool you, the chinese working girls tend to be very average. You call and they direct you to go to a location within a few blocks of the apt where you're instructed to call again. From there they usually give you the rest of the info including address and apt number.
$140-$160 gets you a mediocre massage and passable 50/50, you'll most likely be out in under 50 minutes. Surprisingly enough, you go to a lingerie shop to buy lingerie or pick a model to model it. Mind you, if you're really going to buy it, you actually pick it out. If you're there to see a model, pick the model. What happens is that the girls that are currently available all come out in a line up (like in Cali AMPs). You pick the girl. However, since this board seems to be still AMP focused (even though from what I hear the AMP scene is dead), you're going to have to guess which ones perform which services you want. A CBJ should be available from all, but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if some will only do a CHJ (now that would really suck ;) My guess is that the younger ones are the ones with the more reservations and the more YMMV. Some of the old info on this board still rings true: Exec = older girls; CL = younger, on average. Older girls, in my experience, will deal a little more, and usually better service. Younger girls are just better looking. However, as with any provider, if you two click, expect a good time.
Anyway, pick a girl and you will go to a room with half a door. Discuss then what you want, she'll usually bring it up. You'll know right away what they do or don't do. If she doesn't work out for you, you should be able to just request another line up, or give her a fiver and ask her to find some girl who does. Liebermann - I think the reasons Rfd AMPs had hotter chicks are the same reasons they got busted. Once Rfd got established as a big money maker for AMPs the youngest and hottest were consistently brought in. High demand increased quality as well as quantity.
Young hot AMP chicks are most likely recruited directly for the AMP system based on their youth and looks, usually inside korea. So they incur a higher debt getting over here and are newer to the system so naturally have made less progress towards paying off the debt.
In the meantime, koreans already in the country get recruited too but not targeted entirely based on superior looks or youth but just because they're already here. And the ones recruited from korea eventually do pay off their debts but they're getting long in the tooth by then.
So in Rockford in the last few years it turns out the the higher quality young hotties were more likely to be indebted, so they're more likely to be more tightly "controlled" and forced to live inside the AMP and driven state to state rather than being trusted to fly, etc. And their desirability makes them more valuable money-makers, so a bit more worth taking risks with immigration status like expired visas. Maybe another factor is that the younger ones seem less "traditional." You can really tell a difference between korean women over 45 and those younger than 30. The younger ones are more independent and brazen, don't know if it was ever an issue that the younger ones are more prone to be involved with drugs and general rowdiness etc.
Anyways, what you're seeing now in the AMPs that are surviving the crackdown is mamasans that have historically steered clear of the more lucrative yet riskier practices, i.e., dealing with girls that have sketchy immigration status and/or large debts requiring tighter "control." I get the impression that in the 'burbs most of the workers have long ago paid off any debt to the "AMP Management" network, and have attained a more solid or permanent immigration status. Some very likely were recruited from inside the US.
I defer to two more senior and wiser hobby experts, hopefully I don't mangle their words too bad as I try to paraphrase from memory (not in the mood to do a search...). I'm pretty sure that one or both of the following statements can be attributed to one or the other or both I just can't remember which is which. The two other board members are BigGuyRay and Chief Wiggum.
One statement was from at least two years ago, he said: "I've been in this long enough to learn that nothing good lasts forever, one day a thriving scene can vanish over night..." I took his words to heart and its a big reason why I NEVER took the AMPs for granted. I was getting cautiously optimistic as we were gliding through 2005 without any problems with the new massage laws. I think the bust blindsided us all and truer words were never spoken than the statment above.
The other statement was that the AMP scene in the Chicago 'burbs can be likened to an "elephant's graveyard, where old AMP chicks leave the herd and go to spend their final days..." I think if those places aren't major perpetrators of federal offenses, it will be up to the local community to decide if they want to continue to tolerate them.
There's a chance that the ones that survive the next few months will soon be able to recruit better quality women and also become very lucrative. God forbid that they repeat the same mistakes made by the Rockford AMPs.

I went by Chantilly Lace and Exclusive late at night and didn't really know anything about them (I didn't know about this board then either). So I chose to go to the Golden Touch on the corner instead only because I had been there before. Back then GT wasn't bad. The $85 door fee could get you just about anything. But times definitely change. The last time I was there I thought I walked into a retirement home by mistake. I think I even heard some woman yell out "Bingo". I don't hear too many post about the old place anymore (no pun intended) so it must not have changed much. If anyone has been there this year let us know how it went.

Old failure report with follow up. In April was in Rockford and had no luck finding anything on the streets, so had ecided to leave town. Gave her my phone number dropped her off at Road Ranger and figured it was my good deed for the week. It was obvious Angel had no clue what she was doing. This story however may wind up having a hapy ending, I got home from an out of town trip this morning and was rather surprised to find a message from Angel. It said she hoped I remembered her, her 18th birthday was coming up soon and that she hoped that I was still interested in getting together with her. She wanted me to celebrate her birthday with her if I would make it special and gave me a number to reach her at. Did finally make contact with Angel. A guy I knew in college had way to many legal hassles to deal with when he returned home, which was out of state, and brought his girlfiend who was a year &1/2 younger than him (he was 19 and she was 17) to town for the weekend. It did not help matter that her parents disliked him and she neglected to tell them where she was going. I heard they got married o her 18th birthday whihc effectively killed the legal problem since neither could be forced to testify against the other., he wound up dropping out of school during all of it. If things had gone the wrong way for him he would now be in tha same category of poeple as men who molest little boys.

I believe that most age of consent laws are less harsh if there's less than 2 years age difference between the "minor" and the "adult." That would make a lot of sense to me. For example, if the age of consent is 17, and a 40 y.o. guy has sex with a 16 y.o. (utterly regardless of the circumstances) I say throw the book at him. But if an 18 y.o. (technically an adult) has sex with a 16 y.o. then either give him a slap on the wrist or even just let it slide completely.
Personally, I'm a strong supporter of strict enforcement of age of consent laws. True, many 16 y.o.'s are more mature and advanced than girls 2-3 years older, and some 21 y.o.'s are kind of slow, vice versa, etc, whatever. But I don't think any of that is any reason to raise or lower age of consent. I think the local community should hash it out and come to an agreement. Once the age is set in stone it should be STRICTLY enforced. This isn't an arena for leniency. Sometimes you just gotta draw a line and stick to it.
I know many people that feel the same. As I become a father of a couple of daughters I become a stronger supporter for these laws. There's no shortage of pussy that's 20 y.o. and older. There isn't a screaming need for sexual access to girls that are 17-18. Better just to give these girls a chance to mature a bit. No reason to take risks with the law, society and pissed off parents.

But at some point you just gotta send a signal to adults that its not OK to mess with minors. So I'd be very, very far from putting your friend in the "category of people as men who molest little boys."
And Ralph, I really want to emphasize that I'm not making any judgement of you or your situation. I don't think I even know your age. Please don't take some of my "stern" opinions about the issue in general to imply a stern opinion of you specifically. If she's 18 and she wants to bang you then hey, its all good. I guess I'm just saying that if I were in your shoes I'd be proceeding with extreme caution. As the example of your friend shows, even when something "seems" like it should be allowed or legal, it can lead to a tangle of legal issues.

Things did turn out a bit on the unexpecte side as far as celebrating Angel's 18th birthday with her. Her mother also informed me that she thought it was a good idea since it would save $$$ on an extra night at a hotel and since we were leaving so late we would not have had much to do in the Dells when we got there. As one might imagaine this did throw me off balance for a bit but I figured best go with the flow and make the best of it.
In the meantime since the party was not to start until early evening Angel and I decied to take off for awhile and find something to kill time- wound up seeing a movie matinee and then going to the mall for some shopping although Angel did what I considered was very uncharacteristic for a woman of any age did not wind up finding anything to buy (or get me to buy for her).

I have not decided what type of relationship if any I will proceed with in terms of Angel. On my way out of Belvidere after a nice appointment there, I stayed on HWY 20 and drove all the way down to 6th street and headed South. SWs all over the place. You just don't know how bad I wanted to start a new thread for the longest time. There were often complaints against me for posting so much super-in-depth AMP info. Decided to try out Rockford last week and had an experience I hope not to repeat.
Came into town on Rt251 and first thing off I spotted a girl talking on the phone near the Pump Handle motel who waved at me when she noticed I was looking at her. I probably would have gone after her first to get my wallet back and look for the keys later but thats me. BUT thats good advice to keep your wallet out of sight !! One SW I had seen regularly in Rockford flagegd me down after I had gottne riped off in town one night. I always sort of thought of SWs as the rent before you buy type of girls and may have found one I want to keep, at least for awhile in terms of Angel. Been back up to Rockford to see her twice in the past couple of weeks and she drove out to see me on her own. She has said she would come more often if I subscribed to the porn channels available on the satellite dish, this seems to me to be a rather unussual attitude for a woman- most I have met hate it and don;t like their boyfrends / husbands to have any. I have however decided I rather like having as much sex as I want (and more) with an attractive 18 year old girl, who will let me do anything I want to do with her. I thus have had no good reason to go out hunting for other girls I do not really think it is the fatal attraction thing about her wanting to do college near me, she'll be going to community college wherever she is since she did not make it into any of the 4 year schools she applied to. I think it is more of a combination of all her high school friends are going to college someplace that is not Rockford (thus she has none of her friends to hang out with) and the fact she wants to get aay from her parents and kid brother (something I could not wait to do when I was her age, but now that mine are dead I wish I had spent more time with them). I have no idea how things will proceed from here, although I think I am at the point now where I have had sex with her more times than all but two of my "real" girlfriends.
Turkey John - I'm far from being an expert with the sw scene but I can answer a couple of your questions. First, there are no solid guarantees that a girl on the street isn't a cop. Historically it seems that undercover LE sw's do look "too good to be true." But at the same time sometimes sweet looking dancers looking for a quick buck are out, or a girl may be new to the scene and not worn out yet.
Decoys tend to give off a vibe that's slightly different. Their clothes don't look like an entirely different style, but still different. Real sw: old faded jeans that are a little tight, and a cropped t-shirt and sneakers; Decoy: old faded jeans that are a little tight and a cropped t-shirt and sneakers. But the sw will be wearing jeans that were cheap and out of style even when they were new, about 8 years ago; her t-shirt will look like something that cost $3 in a cheesy tourist trap - like faded neon letters that say "Daytona Beach"'; no socks and the shoes will look like they stink. The decoy will have 3 y.o. Levi's and a mall t-shirt (the Gap, Express) and sneakers she probably jogs in on a regular basis (New Balance, Avia).
Rarely will sw's appear aggressive or eager. When they do, its sort of an anxiety-ridden desparation, like she's in denial that its obvious to anyone except you what she's trying to do, as if she's pushing down her instincts that her aggressiveness is risky. When decoys are aggressive or eager they look very cool and in control and don't give a whit that their behavior is signalling to other passers-by why you and her are hooking up.
Mostly sw's will be laid back and steady. They don't have to position their bodies at all to make eye contact with you. Its like their posture says you're not even there, and yet her eyes will definitely be locked onto your eyes... she'll hold that gaze, called "the look" or "the stare". Judging by her eyes alone its as if you're the only thing around, but judging by her body its like she doesn't even know you're there. When decoys aren't overly aggressive then they strut too much and when she goes to give you the "look" or "stare" its lilke her whole body is engaged in "locking in" on you.
Let me pull back from that last paragraph a bit. In reality, when an sw knows she has your attention she may turn towards you and give you a wave or start walking towards you. So I guess don't take my physical description too literally, but I think the contrast described above exists in attitude.
In Milwaukee, for a while it was being reported that decoys would almost always wear shades. Why they persisted in doing that after it was posted so many times I'll never know, but it seemed to be their m.o. for a while. Here's a typical description of decoys:
Too good looking, too clean, wearing glasses. Too calm and almost aloof. Paced - or strutted - sorta like an overacting job in a B movie. Maybe puffing on a cig with exaggerated gestures. Of course, with everything I've mentioned so far it would be easy for decoys to take these descriptions into advisement and make the necessary adjustments. Am I helping them? I don't think so. If the moderately experienced monger can see the difference, I hope to god an experienced vice captain can see it, too. I almost wonder if they were intentionally careless about setting themselves apart from true street urchins that prowl the streets.
Maybe they're only going for the really stupid newbies with no street instincts. There's more reasoning to this theory, which I'll point out now.
So far, decoys never get in the car. They walk up and try to talk to you through the window, like you see in the movies. If a decoy looked too much like a boulevard baracuda an experienced guy would expect her to get in the car, and newbies would be less prone to stop. Now what if LE decides to change tactics and allow the decoy to get in the car? Now if the chick looks too much like a real gutter otter the guy will have no apprehensions about just reaching over and grabbing her shit. Even if an experienced monger knows the fresh looking girl in his car is a dancer new to crack and hooking on the street, he's slightly more like to at least display an 'nth degree more courtesy... Like, he may move his hand toward her, gesture that he's going to touch and then pause for a reaction. Or maybe put his hand on her shoulder or knee and slowly move into a hot zone. If she's total trash he's more likely to just lunge. Maybe a decoy doesn't want to really put herself in a position that a true battle-weary flounder has no problem with.
I heard about a sting operation in another state where the female cop (a bit chunky) would sit back and give the guy permission to feel up her ample tits. I don't know other details like sunglasses, teeth or how convincingly she was looking like a worn out street hag. But she had no problems giving up second base to get the bust.
Just goes to show there are no 100% guarantees. You gotta be able to trust your gut.
With that and mind there are some rules. Never talk business until she gets in the car. Then of course never bring up the quid pro quo. Don't drive to where she tells you to. Tons more rules like have your wallet in the trunk or where she can't get it; only have the cash you need for the transaction; watch her hands, especially during the act; don't buy any stories like she has to stop at a friend's house, etc.
Again it may be easy to criticize the literal accuracy of some of what I said here, I guess I'm trying to describe more of a vibe or attitude. It may be helpful for you to do something like recon the scene. Window shop as if you are totally ready to do the deed, but have your mind made up that you WILL NOT pick anyone up. Just go through the motions and cruise for a while, then take a break. Get out of the area and go get a snack, do some shopping, browse a Barnes and Noble, whatever. Then get back in the car for the real hunt.
If this leads you to passing up a good opportunity, only to find things have totally dried up while you were wussing out, don't let it bother you. Its better to end up empty-handed than hand-cuffed. A lot of guys love the adrenaline rush, there's an element of risk. When you're new you'll tend to be a bit jittery no matter how cool you are. Better to do a low altitude buzz-over and then disengage, so that you can return better ready for battle.
Personally, I don't have the stones to become a big player in the sw scene. When I have dabbled I was probably overly cautious. I'm sure with time I'd become more sure-footed but its just not an area of interest for me.

I was looking in the free section of Alt.com. There are a lot of ladies there from Rockford. There were all kinds of ladies there, dominant, submissive, houswives looking for fun, a lot of younger girls. I only went to free areas so I am not sure if these women are pros or not. Anyone know any of these women? I wonder if any of them are sw's or amp workers.
I have seen that some providers do post on alt.com, but honestly I do think that they post up there looking for personal relationships...or clients if the are dommes.
I will say that many of the profiles are legit (with a spattering of fakes). It's not like adult friend finder which seems to be almost 100% fake.
I've had some success on there hooking up. 4 women, all freaks to the core who loved being dominated. I also learned quite a bit about the formal BDSM scene. It's relatively inexpensive to join. But I think part of my success on there was that I had a crappy job I didn't care about so I would cruise profiles all day. Since my lucky streak, I joined another couple times and got nothing. It helps to be good looking on there.

The Hideaway must have changed back, because when I last went there (in May), the "booths" (if you could even call them that) were in the same location, but the walls had been cut down to about three feet high. I drank the minimum while talking with a girl I would usually get a dance from, but without the old-style booths, there was no reason to stay, so I bought her a drink and left.
I will have to give it another try.

I went to Rockford again last night. Lots of LE presence in the Broadway / 7th, 8th, 9th, area. Looked like there was a fight and / or a homicide at the cigarette store across from Monkey Business. Ambulance, etc... Hardly any SW action in that area.
I headed south on S 11th Street. Late in the night, there was a brunette sw, wearing white shorts, and a black halter top. Everytime I went around the block to get her attention, one of you guys got to her first and was picking her up. Anyone know who I am talking about? Anyone have her digits? Last I saw her she was going into the diner that is combined with the CITGO station. Looked nice.
Earlier in trhe night I tried stopping at some bars in hopes of finding some Bar Hags ( prior post, Big Mike ). Stopped in two on S 7th street, just north of 5th. One was all latin people and the other, Davids, was half latin peole. I have no problem with Latins, I'd just like to be able to communicate in english. Only saw one girl, Asian, who was good looking enough to wonder about. She didn't give me the time of day.
Stopped at Monkey Business and Paradise. Some of the Hags in Monkey business looked like candidates, but it did not go far. Might have to wait until the end of the month when welfare money s gone. Bartender in here looked nice!
Overall kind of a disappointing night. Although, as I was driving North on 7th street for the last time, on my way out, I saw a gorgeous young black girl who definitely gave me the look.
