So been on SA on and off for the last 6 years. Just resubscribed two days ago and a day later get a message saying my account is locked until I can verify myself and submit and govt. I. D. To. I emailed them and said to refund me and close my account as they have changed the terms of the agreement not I. Is this something everyone most do going forward. Thought it was weird since it shows I've had the same account for 5-6 years.That seems like a scam to me. I have never heard of that. Seems very odd.

You say you received a message. When you go to the site I suspect nothing has changed. This sounds like a scam email that would end in a blackmail attempt if you supplied the information. If you received this through SA from their administrator please let us know. Otherwise it sounds like a scammer is taking a shot at you.

I have had this happen a few times to me and chalk it up in the Scam column. Just to fishy when you get the digits and then find yourself blocked or the profile deleted.
Texted with a 30's something SA gal. Seemed nice and after a while she gave me her digits. And said text me and BTW I delete my profile daily. I have her # but her profile is gone. It seems fishy to me. Anyone else with this experience?

This can be triggered by anything from logging back in after a long time, accessing the site through a VPN, entering a password incorrectly too many times, or lots of other reasons. An SB asking to chat with WhatsApp, Snap, or Telegram isn't what should throw a red flag. It's when they ask you to buy their pictures before they'll consider meeting that should.
