Why is it so quiet in this section?

Well it went pretty well...considering that some of the guys got scared because Bella's friend showed up to compete also ! Out of seven guys, only 3 performed. Ron - i think that club closed up for good this time. The only other clubs that are similar are Le Trapeze and Carousel that I know off. Carousel is inside a strip club on northern blvd and sometime the girls actually come into the back and watch & participate on their breaks..but carousel unfortunately is still a "hole in the wall" in my opinion. The crowd sucks. As for LeTrepeze (midtown nyc), it's the the fashion divas and studs as well as us regular folks who could have passed on that last beer ! The crowd is nice and mixed (not very mixed, but mixed enough). Most of the woman are from Bally's commercials though and everyone is friendly and the place is clean and compfortable...and expensive ($150 per cpl). Hope this helps.

Single men are allowed at carousel...but I would not advise it ! My wife and I have been there when they allow single men (i think it's $60.). The reason I would'nt advise it, is because they also allow gay men in who like to watch the straight men ! Which caused several confrontations and one fight while we were there!

Which is the better club? Carousel or Le Trapeze? What is the best night of the week to go to either club? Are the women really that attractive at Le Trapeze? I heard most of the women are older.
LeTrapeze is the place to go (weekend). Some of the women are a little older, but you would be surprised that most of them look better than the younger ones ! Carousel is cool because the main section is a strip club. And the girls make it worth the trip, especially Ju-Ju. Do not go when they allow single men. well, for one thing we arrived kinda early, but we were there from opening to till about one am and the place was empty; only 2 other cpls besides us and about 6-7 men just standing around waiting for an opportunity to present itself. Mind you we left. we felt like we where in a ***** house or something.

There are no words to describe y dissapointment when I entered a nasty, dark room on the second floor. Not only it was an unsafe place but nothing was going on neither.I think the club advertisement on the net is misleading. Do yourself a favor read al the ratings before you make the big mistake of visiting this filthy club, EVERYTHING THEY SAY IS TRUE!!!!

LeTrapeze does not allow single men. You'll have to find a female "friend" to go with you. Sometimes women stand next to LeTrapeze and will help you get in if you "treat" for the entry fee.
As for the women being eager...that is based on the woman and how you look and how you carry yourself. Don't act like a fox in a henhouse ! "NO", means "NO". If you are pushy..you will be thrown out. If you are a couple, let your woman feel out the other woman as they are good at that (as we think with our dicks, especially in a club full of naked women).
You have to remember you are trying to touch another mans woman. Single men in a swingers club have nothing to offer. A couple with a couple can "share". There are rules of respect that must be followed to avoid confrontations. Le Trapeze is much, much, much (etc) more cleaner and "user friendlier" than Carousel. The only drawback is the entry price, but it is worth it, just not on a regular basis. As for getting into the swing of things with another couple, always make eye contact and be relaxed and verbal. Eye contact will let them know that you are somewhat interested in "playing". Be relaxed. Explain that you are "new", as there is no shame in it. We were all "new" at one time. being verbal is important. You have to ask can you touch, can you lick, etc. All couple have different limits and rules. You and your should have these rules also. Rules pertaining to how far you can go, how far can she go. What's a no-no, etc, so that your relationship can continue without any drama. As long as limits and rules are respected, swinging is cool ! We also attend private parties and hotel parties in NJ. The couples there are mixed but are usually a little older (40-50), but for some reason, they are more fun, down to earth and open minded (free liquor and food is a plus) ! Is Carousel and Le Trapeze really the only spots to go to? I mean surely there are other spots maybe private parties? This section should be about that. Even though I'm a single male, I can find a woman or two to go with every now and then. I'm scared off from the Carousel from when I went to their manhattan location a while back (Mar 03) NOBODY was their and they still wanted your full price!
It's sad to hear that they are still like that with their move to Queens. I even got their newsletter in the mail and it seemed like it would be a good spot to go. Is the strip club at least any good?

Of course there are other spots. You have to be in the loop though. Most are private parties and do not allow single men. But like you said...you have no problem finding an escort. Most of the parties are hotel parties which are held in NJ in very nice spots (just had one this past saturday), most are 30 min. from NYC. The crowds vary in age, but mostly within the 30-50 age groups. I'll post info regarding any upcoming parties that I get invited to.

Is Checkmates still around? I've never been there, but heard it attracted an attractive, upscale crowd in their 20s-40. It used to be located on the East Side near the UN.
Is anyone interested in meeting with me and the girlfriend next Saturday July 31 at Carousel or Trapeze ? It will be our first time going and she keeps suggesting she will only go if she can relate with another couple, that has a little knowledge about the place.

I know this is a nyc list, but since I was browsing the threads and saw swingers here decided to let everyone know there is a great club in NJ called Beginnings. They have a website just search for Beginnings.
It's extremely clean, they have an indoor and out door hot tub, as well as a small dance stage. Upstairs is for drinks (byob) and conversation. To go into the play areas you have to get naked, or at least down to a towel. All in all a great place for newbies or folks just curious about swinging. Of course the dreaded single male pays twice as much as a couple. Single ladies are free.

The mgmt. got a little stricter. no drinks in the back room? the area with the mattresses are gone and replaced with sofas. Also they opened up a third room with two more sofas, So all in all things are looking up at carousel. My last vist on Satuday 7/24 me and my girl got into it with a spanish couple there. Read my other posts regarding the Queens location of Carousel. Yes the Queens location is worst. More dingy and "underground" feeling. Trapeze is sort of "clicky". The regulars who are known tend to play with other regulars. But if you are outgoing and friendly you will be accepted. The only thing that I don't like is all of the Bally fitness commercial/club members who attend and act as if they are "perfect", but are lacking in the fun/sex skills areas.

I have never heard of a swing club in the Bronx. I know that sometimes there are private parties held in the hotels near Connor st (by co-op city), but that's about it. Most of the immediate clubs are are located in midtown, & queens.
Went TO AN AWESOME PARTY this weekend. Called club Mystique ( go to the yahoo group for details ) . There are NO swings clubs in the tri-state area that compare to this place. Clean , food, drinks, 5 room with safari setting, wide screen TV's in every room, massages, dancing, the list goes on.
Carosual, Trapezee doesn't even come close.

Nope, Sorry. No single guy clubs are to be found. I addressed that in an earlier post regarding Carousel which does allow single guys on mondays I believe. I doubt if you'll have any luck there though. As single guys have nothing to offer in return (ie - a girlfriend or wife) at a swing club. You may find a couple who is looking for a dp scenario though, with lots of luck.

The first place that you mention was the best club I ever attended in the U.S. After they moved downtown, it was never the same. There are places as good as Plato's ever was (the original in the basement of the Ansonia). You should get a compilation of your films on VHS (PAL) and head to Deutschland. Can anyone tell me if the swinging lifestyle really exists for the single guy?
A decade ago I tried responding to a ton of those ads in swinger magazines, only to find out that every single one of them were bogus.(Those that responded back were for the most part picture sellers).
On the one occasion I place an ad in one of those mags, I did received two separate responses from older chubby women from New Jersey.(I politely thanked them and said that I was persuing other contacts first, when I returned their photos).
Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Acquiescence is no more. They use to advertise in the Party section of the Village Voice. Single Guys=125 3hrs couples=50 single females=20
They got busted several times & moved from 28th & 7th to 29th & 6th, & last was 23rd & 3rd; 7-12:30am M,W,F,&Sat.

Here's what to expect at a party. If the party lets in single guys the ratio will be 3 or 4 to one or more with guys out numbering women. I've had parties down to 2 to 1 but thats rear. If you go to a "swingers party" with more girls than guys then they're probably working girls not swingers. I usually try to stack the deck so to speak by emailing and calling the female members in my group who I know like gang bangs so that the guys have a better chance.
I've been to a lot of swingers clubs as both a single and part of a couple and I know its tough for guys. You just have to go with the mindset that a swingers club has 10x the chances of a pickup bar.. thats what makes it worth it. Relax have fun and at the very least you get some free live porn.
