Ok, so it's Wausau, and the pickings are slim and not exactly safe, LE wise, these days, but then "Allie" shows up on backpage with a "back in town" message. Well reviewed, except known to be not exactly reliable. So I call, no answer, some funny google voice message, and I start sending texts, off and on, nothing explicit. Variations on are you available mostly.
So on the night of 4th, I get a response text of " for something sent 4 hours earlier, which had gone off script a bit, but I immediately reply "are you available", no response. But I call a half hour later, and actually get through. Says she's just getting heading into town, needs to find a hotel on the internet (says she'll call back in half an hour. I figure half an hour is sort of optimistic, given her known reliability issues. I give her an hour then start calling back and texting, every half hour or so, for maybe 2 hours before giving up for the night.
So I go back to texting once or twice a day, Allie's ad gets reposted Monday, Tuesday morning I get an "ok when?" text, and hope again springs eternal. We seem to agree on time and donation, no word on location though. I text an hour before, saying, any time, then call and text couple more times, no response. An hour after the appointed time, I get a call from a different number, but checking up online, it's her. I don't quite get to it on time, call back immediately, though, but it doesn't go through. But there's a voice message, except it turns out to be maybe a butt call from someone otherwise occupied, nothing clear enough to make out, but there seem to be two voices.
No further response. I'm not greatly experience in the hobby, but my other dreams have been with pretty well know providers, set up with minimal, discreet calls and mostly text. Mostly in Madison, which is a lot less risky on the LE front, though I did see Alexxa in Wausau when she was still around here. I would have given up after the first aborted contact, but Allie seems to be widely known and greatly admired in the skills department in the Milwaukee forum here. Which I hadn't checked until after the initial failure. But also widely known to be hard to contact and never exactly prompt or reliable, good enough to be worth the effort though.
I guess this is an appropriate enough first message for the moribund / stillborn Wausau forum here. It'd be a lot less frustrating to just drive down to Madison. Anybody out there have any hints on providers that might be real and worth a visit, let me know. Or any other ideas. I may drop a backpage e-reply to a couple possibilities, just out of boredom and faint hope, nobody posting these days seems to have any reviews and it doesn't seem safe to use a traceable phone # for contact.

I was contemplating texting a couple other BP numbers, but I just looked up the news reports on busts in Wausau, and it makes me very wary. Cops claimed to have enough evidence for arrest just in texts in some cases. I know to never discus services, but it looks pretty unsafe to attempt contact with anybody who can't be verified as a. Um, legitimate provider by other means. And most Wausau BP advertisers these days seem to have no visible reviews, at least at the usual other site. So travel seems far safer.

Going by her phone number, she's been posting ads since January or so under a sequence of names. Until a week ago, she was Callie. No visible reviews anywhere under her phone #.
I texted her to ask where her incall was, Rapids was the reply. Then I ask about evening availablity and which of the many pics posted were actually her. As Callie, she was claiming 100% real pics, so I thought it not too impertinent, but apparently it was. No response.
Odd thing was, just about the time I texted her, Callie disappeared and Sydney materialized. Some of the Callie pictures could have been real, I don't think any of the Sydneys are though.
I'm not that interested, Rapids is presumably out of the Wausau LE watch area, but it's an hour drive, might as well go another hour to Madison where there are well established and reliable providers with actual reviews. But I thought I'd ask anyway, just in case.
Sadly, I must report that I finally connected with the elusive Allie, and it was not a good experience. Extremely rushed, not at all personable, bit worse for wear. Good skills though. But maybe a little strung out, certainly high strung. Milwaukee people thing she goes in an out of drug issues, which may feed the reliability thing. I couldn't say, no obvious physical evidence, but she seemed pretty edgy.
Overall, bad enough to close the book on Wausau for me, just not worth the risk and trouble. Too bad, I had high hopes, bit unrealistic of me. Worst experience in the hobby by some margin, though from a pretty limited sample.
As every, YMMV, pickings are slim here, and she's safe in the LE sense anyway. Plus evidence of skills. Said she'd be here for a while. Just not my cup of tea at all.
