The 75 yo whose name was listed in the news, committed suicide over the weekend. Another of the list, someone with a high profile and job title was the headline story with photo right smack dab on the front page. He is suspended from his job. Avoid the area as even a trusted provider might be co-opted to assist LEO to get her charges dropped.

Smuggler Sentenced In Drug Case.

Indian National Sold Mislabeled Prescriptions, To Be Deported.

Posted: February 27,2016.

HARRISONBURG — A federal judge sentenced an Indian man Friday to roughly four months in prison for smuggling misbranded prescription drugs into the country.

Ummer Nishad, 26, pleaded guilty in USA District Court in Harrisonburg on Dec. 17 to felony conspiring to defraud the United States.

Recommended sentencing guidelines suggested a sentence up to six months. He faced up to five years in prison.

Judge Elizabeth Dillon sentenced Nishad to four months and 10 days with a release date of March 9. Dillon would have released Nishad, but sent him to jail to give the government time to arrange his return to India.

Nishad's defense attorney, Kevin Wilson, told the judge his client is eager to get out of prison.

"We'the like to see him go back to India and put this in the rearview mirror as a learning lesson," Wilson said.

Misbranded Drugs.

Beginning in February 2014, Nishad began sending misbranded Indian prescription drugs to the United States, which triggered the probe.

An undercover agent with the USA Food and Drug Administration purchased drugs from Nishad five times.

On Feb. 4, 2014, the special agent received a shipment from Mumbai to an address in Mount Jackson. This shipment contained 130 Aurogpa-100 pills, equivalent to Viagra, and 130 tadalafil pills, generic Cialis.

Nishad instructed the special agent to send $500 through Western Union to him in India.

Through March, the special agent bought misbranded drugs, including Prozac, four more times.

Arrest.

On June 12, under the direction of the special agent, a confidential informant called Nishad.

"During the call, Nishad said that he has over 5,000 customers and is interested in expanding the amount of customers," according to court documents. "During the conversation, Nishad also explained that in order to elude the Indian and USA Customs, he ships his product in small quantities. ".

Court documents say Nishad flew to the United States on Oct. 27 after undercover agents bought him a plane ticket, assisted with him getting a fake visa and promised to pay for his hotel room.

He arrived on Oct. 28 and was arrested. He has been held without bond since his arrest.

Prosecutors did not oppose the expungement.Just look at what this guy has to go through. She loses his job; may be bunch of money for lawyers fee, and his reputation as an elit educator. Even the record is expunged, that's a small filed. People still remember who he is. And what about reference check. He was let go for bla bla bla.

Wonder if he is married or not. Hell I hate to be home. Might even lose his family, friends and all. You know those religious freaks just like us. They are self righteous and everyone will point their fingers at you. And Let's put it this way he is fucked.

That's what the PD did weather it sticks or not they drag you to the mud.

I read in the news some PD was observing a motel room and saw an Asian guy went in, he was arrested, then another one later and he was arrested, they a white guy went in and he was arrested and theen after 5 arrests, they took the hooker too.

I don't know it will fly, but hell who wants all those hassles and you name in the news? Wow. I surely don't.

See this board is gold. If they read this board, they just save their own hides and know who not to visit.
