You have like 15+ choices in the burg, and they're all pretty different, and they've all been reviewed at least once by somebody, so take a minute and RTFF. Personally, I think the most consistently good ones are Thai Relaxation on Rt 3 and Sakura on Rt 17. After that it's a crapshoot and small variations, just depends on what you want.

Had an oppurtunity to travel across Federicksburg. So called ahead and booked an appointment with Michelle for an hour at Sakura last Sunday. Had some time and went by mid-day. Called first and told 3 girls working Sani (SP? Angela and Anna. Thanks for the info.Personally I feel the getting an hour allows the two people to get comfortable with each other and so the later activities are more enjoyable and at ease. The hr allows for the massage aspect as well. The half doesn't allow much room for that if the TS is included as well. Some girls will feel cheap and go through mechanical motions if it's purely a jack shack. Also, I only do a half if time is limited but my provider and I already have a set aquatinted level and / or takin one for the team.
Lastly, I would not add the remainder on the cash saved from a half towards the tip because it would drive the tip up for other gentleman. Once the providers start getting more, they demand more. I don't recommend tipping more unless you get more in service or effort or attitude. Once we start that as a regular uptipping, it will be expected.

Thanks for the info.Depends on the place, but I agree with my esteemed colleagues, I only go half if it's a place I know the quality is good, or if I'm really pressed for time and there are no other options. Half hour at Thai is perfectly enjoyable, for example. Even if I'm checking out a new place, hour gives you the whole experience, the first half loosens you up for the 2nd half. If there's a TS, it gives them the option of taking their time. There's always the odd chance you might grit your teeth for a half hour through a bad massage, as I have actually done once in a while even at "good" places, but it's always a crap shoot, and usually more about the individual therapist.
Funny thing is the economics of the situation for these places favors half hour sessions, but the therapists will always insist on an hour. Go figure. In most cases it's only a difference of a Jackson.

If you go back far enough in this thread, you'll see it laid out pretty well what each place does. Relax has never done anything above TS and handshake with some UTC / OTC roaming. A few places in town do more, so you can dig through old posts to find out where they are, then go take a swing and report your findings. Another is always go in expecting that it's possible you may not get a HE. They might get spooked, maybe LE activity is up, you never know.
Last, about tipping. . 4 for a handshake is pretty standard around here. . 2 for a massage only is typical, even at legit chain places. Consider that you may only get a so-so standard massage with no HE if they think something's up with you, but you're expected to tip just like any place. Just don't go in, get a handshake and act dejected that you didn't get BBFS for. 4. Don't overtip either, keep it to the going rate so the rest of us don't suffer.

Recently I had a thought about a 4 hands massage, it's on my monger bucket list, and Thai was offering one, so what the heck. From what I'd read, they can either be great or not so much. I took the chance that there would be 2 therapists available and was in luck. Some mongers in the past have made mention of building relationships with MMS, and I thought I had a connection with Thai Angela in the works, but either her memory isn't good, or I have a forgettable face. Back to 4 hands, I drew Sani, who did remember me, and Anna. Anna is tall and skinny, kind of cold and impersonal, Sani is short and a little thicker, but not fat, and cute with a very sunny demeanor. Both have very different styles, but more on that later. I asked for TS, even though the Thai relax version leaves a bit to be desired, I gambled that 4 hands might make it interesting. Nope, only Sani, and it was the same TS as usual, nothing special, but not bad. Back in the room, face down and we begin.
If you've never had a Thai relax massage, it goes shoulders back & arms for 20 min, then legs and butt 20 min, 5 min lights go down & tease, flip. 4 hands was basically one does the shoulders & back, the other does the legs, both at the same time. No real coordination except when their hands happened to meet at the butt. Sani took the upper half with a pretty strong pressure, Anna the lower, with more medium. While this could have been a treat for the senses, it ended up being kind of distracting, but not bad overall. I'd say if either was more on the sensual technique side, it would be Anna. One nice thing is that they kept any small bits of talking to each other to a whisper.

The only thing I know about the Tokyo Day Spa is that it got some bad reviews back in the day, and some mixed reviews before then. Girls from NY who were pretty, but high upsellers, crappy attitudes, etc. This board is all about blazing trails, and I was bored, and they do have a table shower, so on a "what the heck" I gave it a go.
As AMP's go, it's a little more exposed than I like, but no worse than some others. Walk in, smells like Asian food. Greeted by "Who Cares, All Business", tall-ish for an Asian, kind of thick in the middle, fake bubs, really skinny legs, face nothing to write home about. I don't mind, I'm just not overtipping to see anything more. Give her 60, get comfy for a mediocre TS. I'd rate TS I've had in the burg from best to worst: Sakura, Lili, Oriental, Sunrise, the place at 5 Mile Center, Rt 17, Tokyo, ThaiRelax. That done, back to the room.
Face down, fairly standard AMP School of Therapeutic Arts rub, not bad. Halfway through, gives the legs and glutes a nice going over, which I always like. No real teasing, more just familiarity with the inner cracks. Uses kind of a sticky oil, but nothing off-putting. Things were kind of looking up. Hot towel and flip. On the flip, she covers up the boys, who are unimpressed at this point, and asks whether I'd like her to work the arms or legs. I opt for legs. Nice, just like the back, only using a thinner oil. Having to be less coy than usual, I rather bluntly pull the towel aside, to which she questions, you want? YES please. She refreshes her oil and proceeds to give probably the worst HE I've ever had in my many AMP visits. It's like she heard on the schoolyard that the way to a man's heart is to squeeze his junk as hard as you can, and more an intermittent pump than a stroke. No rhythm, no sensuality, no sense. Just not good. After one of the more painful releases I can remember, she hot towels me off. I get dressed, give her 40, water and out.
There was another therapist there, but too many better places not far away, so I'm not taking any more chances.

So, I'm passing thru the berg tomorrow morning. I've been to Sakura a while back twice and found it ok but YMMV. I am looking for a recommendation of what why'all consider the best place to go and who to ask for. Thanks. PM if you don't want to post.

But the problem I find with this area is making sure you get the right masseuse more so than the place.
Sakura was awesome when Angela was there now I don't even bother going. Jenni out at Cloud 99 has some decent legs but not a great massage.
Stopped by Sukura on Friday around 6:30 guess that's when everyone else decided to drop in as someone eventually merged out to let me know I needed to return in 30 Min or so. Drove by tonight & there was a mini truck parked right in out front of Sakura, body behind the running vehicle, just sitting there. I toured around Goodwill for 10 min or so, truck with lights on was still there, Tad too Creepy for me.

Had to check this place out with all the buzz. Somewhat quiet area, nice big lot with a "For Lease" sign to part in front of, then the long perp walk up the gangplank. Anyway, inside was nice enough. 70 for the hour, drew Mia. Short, big rack, nice legs, long hair, face kind of a Philipina mix. I don't think there's a table shower. Hard, medium or soft? I opt for medium always, but she eventually settled into her comfort zone, which was on the hard side. Ok oil & shea butter massage, kind of like if a massage chair could get up and walk around. No teasing whatsoever.
Flipped over, and some teasing banter. No discussion about more options. I dropped some pretty heavy hints that I was ok for more, and I came in prepared, but just she kept going. We do more next time! (always next time, isn't it?) Ok. HE was fine, she needed a little coaching, mostly to slow down, but technique was alright. Busted, toweled, dressed, tipped 40, water, out. All told, a 47 min massage, partly because some jerk came in about 20 minutes in, and I think she was the only one there, so she didn't want a potential to walk out.
All in all, comparable to Thai Relaxation, just on the other side of town.

Also, if they recognize you as being there a few times they are much more playful with you. Been a couple months since I came by. Not sure if I met Mia before.
